    KoboraX - Best of Luck!

yuki3056 - That only applies to the Starter Pokémon I am afraid. So in answer to your question; Yes, catching a magikarp does not count. For any Wild Pokémon in order to use it through the challenge it must already be a Dual-Type. Hope that cleared things up? ^^

Lezza - Sorry, but I am not allowing any trading unless your Pokémon's evolution requires it. Meaning no Eggs unless they are bred from the game you are using for the challenge.

AceofChance didn't have to wait long:

    Challenge log 1:

I meet prof. Oak and the jerk (known as Luís for now on) and get my starter bulbasaur (AKA Leeroy). Then I just destroy his charmander.

For those who are curious, my Bulbasaur has a quirky nature.

I already have an idea for a future team:

    Leeroy
    Lapras
    Onix
    Fearow
    Magnemite
    gotta think about it

After 5 minutes of searching, I finnaly found one.

I've been grinding on Route 1 and Viridian Forest a bit.

    My levels:

    Bulbasaur level 9
    Spearow level 8

I'm ready for the optional rival battle.

Stupid rules... I found a pikachu.

    Challenge log 2:

I battled my rival. Started with spearow, that got his pidgey with 1 hp left!
Then spearow was faster than his charmander and i got a crit! It made this easier for bulbasaur.

Got though Viridian forest with only my spearow. Battled all the trainers, like I always do.

Let me destroy Brock here... Done. Easy boulderbadge.

Skipped all the trainers so I can train my new geodude and nidoran.

    My levels after mount moon:

    Geodude: lvl 16
    Ivysaur: lvl 16
    Spearow: lvl 15

@AceOfChance catching pokemon like Magikarp that evolve on DualTyped should count.
In games like VW in which Snivy and Oshawott evolve into DUal TYpes, can they also be used?

I was in doubt, because VW is a hack, and while the rules say no hacking it doesn't day no hacks,so I'm confused ...

I apologize for any confusion! You may use hacks. What I meant by no hacking is simply no giving yourself any special items or such. Does that clear things up? ^^

And yes, the only Pokémon that aren't a Dual-Type in their basic form that you are allowed to use are Starters.
