I think Ed is fine if he is short and if you think about he is not all that short. I mean I think everyone else around him is just way to tall like Roy.

Well, it's all a matter of perception. Either Ed's really short or everybody else is really tall.

I suppose, but in my opinion let's just call him compact not, short.
 
I'm going to go with everyone around him is really tall because wen you think of it he's surrounded y adults most of the time who are already fully grown
 
He's not really that short. He's 5'' 3. That's alot taller then many other "short" anime characters. Plus he's still young. Not to mesion his brother's like 7'' 0.

Edward Elric is 5'3"? He's an inch taller than I am! Oh, and your estimate of 7' for Alphonse only applies to the suit of armor; the height of his real body is probably anywhere below 5'3" (probably 5'; I really don't know).
 
I'm only 5'9 but in my family that's pretty short so i wish i was a bit taller.
 
Isn't this allitle offtopic, but I am 6'2. I am about Roy's height. Anyway, I think in response to what Rikku-Chan said, I still think he is normal size, but I don't think he is all that young. He is about fifteen.
 
i don't know my height(ive been growin like crazy)but ill post it later...i know im taller than a tall adult and im only 12...
 
I think I heard at the very end of the series Ed and Al do get there bodies back, however, I believe it would be best if they did not.
 
I've seen MANY spoilers, so I know what will happen. I've even seen a preview to the movie in Japan! (not gonna say though...)
 
I saw a preview for the movie and I must say it does not look all that appealing.
 
Its is a little sad, but in my honest opinion I did not like not to offend anyone.
