  • Elias rolled his eyes. "For heaven's sake, man, pull yourself together! And why, pray tell, are all of you revealing your embedded spirits? The only one with any sense here is Tsuki. If you just go around revealing them, anyone who doesn't want us to succeed will have all the information they need right there. I'm not kidding, there are probably at least a few radicals here right now..." his voice trailed off as he pointed to the ramen chef he had been cooking off against only moments before. "Case in point." he finished, smirking.

"Don't you dare call me a radical, boy," the chef threatened, "I'm a hardworking citizen of Seireitei, and I demand that you pay me for your ramen!"

"I told you, old man," Elias replied, smirking, "You bet your soup that I couldn't beat you in a contest. The customers obviously enjoyed my ramen better."

"But they never came to a verdict.!"

"In their words, no. But their hearts told me all I needed to know. Get lost."

"Why I'll" the chef raged, before Elias pointed to Audrey meaningfully. The chef shook his head , and moved away growling, "One day boy, one day soon I will get you, and you'll be washing dishes for the rest of your life."

"And you'll have to dry them!" Elias couldn't resist adding.

"Well, Mr.Lapras, although I'm sure we can all safely tell everyone here where we come from, and not to mention each others names. Unless you see no point to it." The depressed dude said. Attitude! "First of all, Most of the citizens here hate my vilage!" Andrew maneged to keep a whisper, "Oh, and Mr. No-name, my name isn't Mr.Lapras, I'm Andrew, Andrew Pali."

Yuuki raised her hand then, taking her turn to introduce herself. "Well...uh...I'm Yuuki Mitsukai, a native of this village, and quite frankly I have no idea what's going on. I don't know if I have an 'embedded spirit' or whatever it is you all are talking about, or the reason why you've all gathered in this small village in the first place." She glanced around to each of the different faces, trying to see if there were any connections between what she looked like and what they did. Maybe a marking of some kind? She couldn't tell. "I just want an explanation for everything," she said, placing a hand on her forehead. "As thrilled as I am that you are all here, I admit it is rather perplexing..." She stared at her feet.

  • "Ah, I'm sorry, you are correct. We shouldn't be always telling stuff like that. But it is quite dark out, and why would anyway eavesdrop on a group of kids who have never met each other before?" I shifted over towards Andrew, "Alright, I'm sorry towards you to, Andrew." Wow, it seems like I have gotten everything mixed up here. Still no one has explained what is going on to either me or Yuuki, or anyone else here that seems to be confused. "Yuuki, I think you do have a spirit... I mean, when i first came here, you ran over too me quite quickly, faster than anyone I've seen, then again, you people are the first humans I've seen for quite some time." I stood up on the large limb and looked down at Elias, "Hey, you, so what is going on? I mean I was forced he by....this" I stated as I grabbed the staff from my back and held it by the bottom and flipped it so the orb part of the staff was in front of the group. "By the way, I suggest you don't touch it, this thing is...weird.."

  • I wasn't exactly sure what to think, when someone took out a staff with an orb on it. I had been around the group of people who where, introducing them selves and talking about their embedded sprits. I didn't introduce myself in fear that the information would be gathered via eavesdropping and used to attack my village. "Why does that orb like thing look familiar" I thought as I looked at the orb on the staff. I started to remember an incident that happened a year ago, when I was told about my ability and my embed spirit.

Suddenly a thought came in to my mind, that wasn't my own. "Don't you remember about the orb" something inside me said. I quickly identified the voice, as slaking my embedded pokemon spirit. "You mean the ones that are supposed to be hidden in every village" I thought. He said nothing else, properly because he knew that I had answered my own question. "Isn't that one of the seventeen stones" I said in such a low voice that only the people around me could hear me. No one said anything for a few seconds as I thought about what to say next. "and incase you where wondering, I am Seath from Fukuhon Village"

  • Kensune was sort of drifting off when he spotted the dark kid talking to a bunc of other kids, and introducing themselves. He walked over to where all of the commotion was, but said not a word. during his listening, he gathered that these kids were also chosen ones, like him, but were from the different villages scattered across the world. when he thought it was the appropriate time, he cheerfully stated "Hi, I'm Kensune!" with a very cherry tone n his voice."I come from the Dokuki Village. better known as the poison village. As for my embedded spirit, though..." Kensune said as he whipped out his guitar "I'm not quite sure if I should be reveiling that to you guys" He said as he played a short rock riff. Then kensune started to think "Hmmmmm, all of the sudden, this is turning out a lot heavier than my step-parents made it out to be. But they wouldn't keep anything from me! Unless this isn't just to sav the Village, but the entire earth!" right then he let out a "HOLY CRAP!" at a very loud voice level, hen said "whoops, sorry" to the people who stared at him...

  • OOC: Is it just me or is no one reading the posts...I mean it appears everyone is too busy about trying to introduce themselves then pick up on the obvious hints to move the story along...such as the question of the 17 stones that are to be found one in each village. Shheesh.

    IC:

John finished fueling the flames when the blacksmith stuck the anvil for the last time, telling him he was finished.

BS- " Thank you for your help kid. Whered you learn to work a fire like that?"

" I told you, my father is a blacksmith in Gutai City. I grew up helping him. "

BS- " Well he trained you well. After such hard work and travel you must be hungry. Here, take this money and get some food. That ramen shop is the best in town"

" Thank you." John replies bowing his head graciously.

After leaving the blacksmith to clean up his shop, John heads in the direction of the restaurant. He passed by a tree surrounded by some kids about his own age and overheard some of their talk as he passed. John even slowed down to listen more clearly as he heard mention of "Chosen Ones" and the names of several cities. When one of the them shouted loudly out of amazement John couldnt help but stare. He noticed himself staying right out side the ramen house listening to these fellow youngsters, perplexed by their standing around and conversation.

Something inside of him urged him to go over, but he remained by the ramen shop. These werent like the blacksmith, John didnt know them. At least metal workers are the same worldwide....teenagers, well they vary from one to the other.

  • "Well , what are we doing just standing here then? Shouldn't we go to talk to the elders of Seiteki Village? That is what most of us are here for right?" I asked with a serious expression. I broke a twig and put in my mouth like a Treecko. "Besides , I can see that some of us don't want to reveal our identities that much , especially their embedded spirit. Like at first I didn-" I was cut off by my spirit , who spoke out loud through my head. 'He didn't want to reveal his spirit because he thought that it wasn't necessary , but I proved him wrong with a little thunder shock to his brain... heheh. Urk!' I hit the Giratina mentally and he shut up. I then spoke again after he was done interrupting. "Well , shall we go now? I mean , the others will know if we already went , right?"

  • (OOC: Ummm, wow. This rp certainly hasn't been very active. I've been gone for days and not much has happened. ;>_>)

Tsukiko tried to stifle a giggle at Elias' little banter with the ramen chef, then turned to the Dragon village boy when he asked about seeing the Village elders. Her hands folded underneath her chin, she grinned and raised an eyebrow, and amused twinkle in her eyes.

"Heh! I was on my way there already, I only stopped by here to get a bite to eat. It's not like we're on a schedule or anything..."
Her grin widened impossibly as she added, "And even if we were, those old farts wouldn't be able to do anything about it if we showed up late. We are the Chosen Ones, after all. They need us far too much."

The girl brushed the dark brown hair back from her face as she sighed, the wide grin she'd been wearing having disappeared as abruptly as it came. She picked at her mostly uneaten ramen for a moment, and then, with a somewhat solemn look on her face, spoke again with a shrug.

"Eh, I'm going, though. Might as well get their long, boring lectures over with."

Finished amusing herself for the moment, she got off her stool and turned to leave the stand, merely waving her hand briefly as she uttered, "See you guys whenever."

(OOC: Eh, it's not much, but hopefully it'll get us moving, right?)

  • OOC: Thanks, I didn't really post. I've been busy this weekend with birthdays and funerals etc. I'll try to post more. =/ AH and also, its an orb, put on a staff, not a stone >.>" Just to get the confusion out of the way. ^.^

IC: Everyone seemed unsure of what to do except for two of them. The dragon kid suggested that we headed to the elders of the village and ask them about what is going on. The other kid, who appeared to be a stuck-up kid, had already left to go see the elders. With a yawn, I jumped down from the limb and I sheathed my staff. I started to follow the stuck-up kid, hoping she knew which way to go. I turned around and asked the others, "Come on, lets go ask them what we should do, then y'all should get some sleep, then we can head out tomorrow." I continued walking and caught up to the stuck-up kid. "Hey.. Tsuki" I whispered over to her, "Do you even know which way we're even supposed to go? You don't want to get lost, we should wait for Yuuki, she would know this village better than any of us."

  • Tsuki practically jumped out of her skin at the word 'Hey', letting out an audible gasp and freezing mid-step. Quickly, she glanced back, and upon turning around and seeing that it was him, quickly composed herself again. Hopefully, he would just act like nothing had happened.
She hadn't meant to freak out, but she couldn't help it- There was just something about him that gave her the chills. Considering that he was from the Dark village, she figured that it was probably something to do with their inner spirits, but Tsuki decided not to dwell on it. After all, she certainly wasn't going to be startled like that again.
With a huff, she answered the boy, folding her arms across her chest as she did so.

"Pfft, I won't get lost! My bodyguard, over there", she gestured towards her escort, then continued, 'Is taking me, and he knows exactly where to go! Now, excuse me, but I have some village elders to visit. I just want to get this over with, and to be honest, I could care less how the rest of you guys get there."

As soon as she uttered those words, the brunette turned on her heal and headed towards her escort(Who was wearing an expression that clearly said that he really wanted to be elsewhere.).

    "See you whenever, I'm gone."

(OOC: Lawl, just making sure Tsuki lives up to her name as 'stuck-up kid'. I think I'm doing a pretty good job. XD; )

  • I watched as Tsuki disappered around the corner. "I guess she woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I muttered to myself. Something told me to follow her but I quickly dissmised that thought. I sat down on a nearby beanch waiting for Yuuki to start leading the way. "Aipom would love to see this village" I thought as I threw a pokeball in the air. Aipom came out of it and quickly climbed up my shoulder. I then looked around and noticed, for the firrst time, how late it actually was. I then got up as I heard someone say let's go.

  • (OOC: sorry about the absence, guys. I haven't been able to get too much internet access lately...)

    (IC)
Kensune took a good look at the kid from the dragon village, then took an equally good look at the kid from the ghost village. "Hmmmm..." He murmured to himself, "Which one to follow.." Then he did what he always did when he faced a problem like this: He flipped a coin. "Okay" he said, "Heads, the dragon dude, tails, the stuck-up chick!" He flipped the coin. The coin seemed to sail through the air before finally landing. Spinning and spinning it went. When it finally stopped, Kensune could finally see that it had landed on tails. "Alright" He said with a happy-ish tone "Looks like I'm visiting the elders!" He grabs all of his things and follows Tsuki.

(OOC:Hope this gets things stirring up again!)

AJ sighed and started to follow the stupid stuck up brat of a child, so immature of her to try to be independent completly. " Everyone needs someone." He mumbled to himself, he was a man of philosiphies and this was one of them. " Maybe I can learn more about this strange girl, and why she's such a bit-" But he cut himself off, he needed to try to soften down on the cursing.

He then remembered something, this jolt came from the small bulge on the side of his pants, he made sure it was tucked in well. He didn't want people to fear him, this was his worst fear. He hid the bulge and went on, seeing that another was also following the B in the Tight shirt. As said before, he was trying to stop cursing so much. AJ felt his hair and smiled, this was the the start of an adventure.
