    Which region's elite four do YOU think is the strongest?

    I think that Fire Red's E4 is quite strong (the second time). As for the most balanced, I believe that Gold/Siver had the most balanced and was trickiest to beat.
     
    Maybe Sinnoh's or Kanto's
     
    Agreeing with Brock_Lee on this. When I was playing through FireRed, it took a lot of training to get my team strong enough to defeat the Elite. It was the first time that I actually had to train for a while before the challenge. And even after all that training, I still had some difficulties.

    It was the same thing with my Pearl game. That one, however, was a bit easier after training. I wasn't down to my last Pokemon while facing the Champion.
     
    All kind of blow...but Kanto's for sure. they actually challenge you if you have your pokemon at low enough levels, which can't be said about the rest. I mean, they can actually inflict lots a damage vs. Sidney in Hoenn's E4 that was busy using moves that just fail...
