    Hi ya guys, I just heard that theres this gigantic asteroid coming towards Erth and it might just hit it, its around 9 miles long and is travelling around 1.5 million miles per hour, so if it does hit it it will be the end of life in this planet, is just half the size that the one that ended dinosaurs but is coming faster, and heres the good part, is coming this month, that's right, september/27/04, so what ya guys think.

    Dont read much do you? People have known about this since the 80's,lol. It's allready been proven that the thing is going to be nowhere near earth, and if it was even to come close to earth it would only be in form of a rather large shower,but no "earth ending" effects as you put it,lol.

    I can see you havent read much either, and what they are saying is that it might get pull down to eath cause on the storms high magnetic attraction, but you know scientist, they R wrong many of the times.

    Man, for someone older then me...you are really naive. This isent going to do anything to us. A magnetic storm might have only a small shattering effect causing a small part of this to break into minidust. I feel bad if you acutally belive this though, I've spent a lot of time reading about this, it's not gonna happen.

    Yes it cahnged it's orbit...away from earth. That changed in 88. People found out about this in 84. They thought the world would end this year...but the thing was hit by another thing throwing it off course and minimizing it's size. There is no chance that this will ever hit us.

    and, it chaged its orbit a litte more than a millon miles closer to Erth, ppl then tought, it would hit us on 2000, now they show that a asteroid hits Earth once in 30,000 years and dose 30,000 are to be berween 2004-2007

    You'll never be able to pinpoint when or how often something hits something else. It hasn't changed it's course. I don't know who is feeding you these lies, as it's still WAY off earth's course. You would be wise to actually find a CREDITABLE source for your information. Oh ya, that sig pic is a tad to big you might wanna edit it, and could you please write a little better?
     
    If this was real... then there'd be some count down on all the news channel's along all the world. NASA would have alerted the media to warn them. That's part of their job. And if you think there's an asteroid with devastating effects coming to destroy earth, and the rest of us found out only via a Pokemon gaming forum... then you must seriously think we're all gullible fools. With 25 days to go until the "asteroid" hits Earth... yeah right.

    Not to mention if anything was goona hit us, we would have heard of this about 6 months ago. There is no way in the world that anything in space can change it's course faster then that amount of time.

    Well if that wasent total spam...Anyways like me and others have said there is no way that this would happen. Is this what awaits me in three months when I turn 16?

    Anyway, in my opinion its not gonna hit the earth because if it was so they would've put it on all televisions as a long lasting issue since long time ago.... so im ok with it :P
