    Hello there, PokéCommunity!

    I am a new member here, and I decided that the best place to start posting would be The Welcome Lounge, where players can introduce themselves or say farewell. Of course, seeing as I made this account about 5 minutes ago, I am introducing myself.

    After the Runescape Double XP Weekend (yes, I do play Runescape and I wish not to be hated because of it ...) and I had played too much League of Legends, I decided to search the internet for Pokémon 'Communities'. I googled 'Pokemon Forum', and The PokéCommunity was the first option. I decided to take a look at these forums as they seemed quite welcoming (the name just sounds ... welcoming, I suppose) and here I am now, typing out this thread.

    I would post things such as my name and gender, but when I did sign up I clicked the 'Genderqueer' box because, to be honest, I do not like giving away details such as that on the internet. It'll be fun to have an element of mystery, as well! However, I can say that I am 13 years of age and I come from England, and I love Pokémon, especially Ampharos.

    I was also wondering after looking at some people's profiles that they look amazing and as I lack artistic skill I was hoping for someone to help me develop my own profile colour scheme etc.

    I don't have much else to say except thanks for reading and I hope I can make some great friends and discoveries here!
     
    Oh my god, finally someone else that plays Runescape!
    Around 08, I stopped playing Runescape and started playing private servers, then 07 came back and I played that for a while then sold my gp for a good $1000.

    But you're right - PokeCommunity is one of the friendlier forums out there. Plus we're active to boot so definitely be sure to participate in the myriads of discussions around the community. You can discuss Pokemon X & Y if that catches your fancy and pop by the Trade Corner for trades and Battle Center for battles. Though since you're a gamer I definitely think you should check out the Video Games board; it's grown to be so active and there are a lot of other Runescape/LoL fans around. If I'm remembering correctly, occasionally VG hosts LoL online games so participating in those would be pretty ideal, though I'm not sure how often they occur.

    You used to play Runescape? That is such a relief. -.- If you do ever start playing the main servers again, feel free to send me a message, if you like, so we can play some 'scape!

    Nah, I actually quit private servers as well. I'm growing out of it all. It gets receptive after 10 years of playing.
