Actually Espy can beat Umbry now because of CM + Wish + special HP Fighting...
Remember Umbreon can't deal crap damage to anything even with type advantages...

I beat umbreon a couple of times with espeon using body slam, but they were just careless trainers, rofl.
Just like anything can't deal crap dmg to umbreon without both type-advantage and stab. What if Umbreon decides to use psych-up/dark pulse, espeon gets done in.

In a type matchup, Umbreon would win because of its dark-ness powers...I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about xD

Umby using payback attack could be deadly for espy too (50 base power x 1.5 stab x 2 type advantage (x 2 attacked first, will likely since espy faster, except espy wish/Calm mind)=300 power). Event it's attack not to high but with that high attack move.....
Beside why always facing an espy to an umby? They are siblings, not enemy >.<

Of course, though, if they did fight, Umbreon would totally win. It's stronger, more agile, not to mention the type advantage... But, still, it depends on the specific two.

Actually in game stat, espy is more agile than umby. Let's stop discussing this as if can end either flaming espy or umby which break the rule... Why don't we just talk about them being a double battle partner instead?

aactually, espeon is more agile.
Umbreon is more sturdy.
It's entirely based on what level the two are, and what moves they know.
People can state specific moves like HP-Fighting, dark pulse, assurance/payback, wish. But-
-What's the chance of espeon having HP fighting w/ a bp over 40? (a 1/26 chance)
-Both parties need to have been bred properly to have wish.
-The chance Umbreon has Assurance/Payback, for this purpose, (below average)
-The probability the trainer can predict an espeon's attack, ((1/6)x1.05)Depends how good they can predict.
-The probability Umbreon can predict an espeon's attack, Espeon is faster, possesses psychic powers, and CAN senses via air currents. There isn't one.

some things to look at;
1. Opposites attract.
2. Without shadow there is no light, vice versa.
3. when In companionship neither party contracts day/night fatigue.
4. both are a product of the same species.

Meh, oh well, this is the espeon fanclub. I guess I prefer Umby because Espeon just strikes me as the 'perfect girl' type, and that sort of thing tends to ick me out... But still I can't help but love them both <3
