That sounds nice! ^_^ Is it supposed to be like this?

Actually I don't. When I first got Leafgreen, I didn't know about IVs, and thus didn't pay any attention to them. ;__;

Hmm.. Reflect sounds good as well, since I don't have any defensive moves....

Now that's a smexy espeon.

save the game and teach ur espeon hidden power, find out what it is and how much dmg it does, it might be good.

I do agree that white Espeon looks pretty cool, but...

Now that's a smexy espeon.

Uhmm... o-kaayy....

ANYWAY, What are you guys talking about, I never pay attention to this dumb 'proffessional' stuff. xD
I always use speed and attack, I don't have Pokemon on my team play 'roles'. But again, that's just my style. :P

smex.. lol

Well.. I believe every pokemon has a role in every team, no matter how big or small it may be or seem.
You don't necessarily have them 'play roles,' rather they play their role, simply from being a part of your team and it's structure.

~
"I always use speed and attack."
So the entire team's role is to inflict fast and heavy damage?
Not to seem like an ass, but that 'dumb 'professional" [/I] stuff kicks in and almost indefinately says(right off the bat);

--A Team capable of meeting your endeavor with Head-strong defense, or a clever array of well-placed 'off-set/surprise moves'
Would likewise require minimal effort, in the attempt of compromising your team.

~

You just pick up the dumb professional stuff as you go along as a trainer. You don't even have to be aware you're learning, but every time you get landed in a really nasty situation and have to stop and think, ultimately you realize how much more you've come to know than thought.

That's a good idea. Hm... What's a good hidden power type for Espeon?

Yeah, I used to not care about battle strategies, but then I found myself in lot of tight spots. Like in my diamond team, I had no defensive pokemon, and I struggled to keep alive in the Elite Four, because my pokemon kept on being K-O'd. >_> In Sapphire, my Swampert was trained in HP and defense, and was very useful.

Fast pokemon with strong offensive stats are best for battling trainers in-game. hmm..3rd gen I'd settle for Hidden Power Fire, but 4th gen it falls down to what pokemon you have and what moves you don't use.

I made the same mistake in D/P, no real defense pokemon in the team. I had some pokemon that were quasi-defensive...but not good enough.

you two really think you need defensive pokemon in d/p?
I just got diamond a few hours ago, I chose the grass starter, released it and caught a shinx, lol.

I needed defensive pokemon, as I forgot to mention in my earlier post (because this website went down on me while I was posting and had to rewrite it several times) because I was fighting the elite four with 3 low 50s pokemon and 1 mid 50s pokemon. (my 2 other team mates were HM slaves). My strongest pokemon, Luxray, had horrible defense, and it wasn't from the nature either. Although it had a very high attack stat, if I was unable to KO'd the pokemon the first time, I would succumb to Earthquake (Most of my trouble was with Cynthia).

Why did you release your Turtwig? You've could've at least let in sit in your box and use it to trade people. Or at least put some use in it.

Banner now avalible, My first banner.

Take a look at the base stats of the pokemon on my team that beat the E4, and tell me i didn't struggle.

Each pokemon is not named, but thier base stats are shown in order of HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed.

A - (70, 110, 70, 115, 70, 19) Best performer
B - (85, 105, 55, 85, 50, 115)
C - (76, 104, 71, 104, 71, 108)
D - (40, 35, 30, 120, 70, 105) Worst performer
E - (65, 76, 84, 54, 96, 105)
F - (80, 120, 79, 95, 79, 70)

Everyone there, there except E is some sort of sweeper >.<. They all COULD dish out severe damage but didn't have the endurance to last in battle if they couldn't OHKO...

Btw, I now have myself a Level 2 Espeon :P

I'll rarely use defensive pokemon. Since My friend rarely like battle single and prefer double(or multi). Defensive pokemon in double just make it's partner targetted.

In double usually i use fast sweeper like espy, jolty, houndoom, or even ninjask. But once in single battle again my friend I win with semi defensive team (counter attack) using Umby. Umby Cursing while stalling starmie (later switched with metagross then switched again with blaziken) then passing to Extreme speed Arcanine to completely destroy his team. But that's because he didn't switched to blaziken earlier

Looking Hidden power with certain type is hard, but looking with decent power is harder. I do have Espy with hidden power water/fire (Forget which is) but since the power is so small (only around 40-60), I decide throw it. Bite even better than HP with just 40 power >.< The only Hp i used is in ninjask where it has 65 power (and Rock type)

Anyone replyin to banner?

It took me two shots to beat the elite4, first time I got to cynthia's 4th pokemon and died, using only luxray lv68 and the rest were below 20.

second time I took Azelf with me.
I really wanted to train the azelf but it had a horrible nature so It's no good to me. - -;;

My pokemon weren't that high ehen i managed to finally do the E4...many of them were in low 50's with my best in the high 50's

I know it's small, I'll make it big soon.

I dunno how you'll make it bigger but okies...XD

Umm...should we have a new topic? XD

everything looks so dead, I've deliberately been not posting otherwise i'd have every second message.
I check in like 4 times a day. ><

banner is good but not the best and actually not the worst

What's the topic now?
Sorry for the inactivity...
