The Everlasting Pokémon Journey

...make a wish to Jirachi. He had wished that his voice gave him super strength, and Jirachi had granted his wish. So simply by speaking, his voice had defeated Rayquaza. Juniper has never heard of this legendary man and asked what his name is. Claire says that he was known by many names, including Hercules, Kira, Moses, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dr. Octogonapus, John Cena, and Tristan Taylor. However, he was most commonly known as...

...Samuel. Juniper notes that that is the first name of Professor Oak. Shocked by this sudden revelation you call Serena and Sabrina to join the three of you as your wife's Alakazam teleports you to Pallet Town. You head to Oak's Lab and find the Kanto Professor asleep at his desk due to fatigue. You wake him up and question if he is the same Samuel as in the story and he responds by saying...

...that the legendary man was in fact his father, and he was named after him. He also inherited his voice, although he only uses it in extreme emergencies. He then asks to visit him another time, since he was far too tired to talk further. Suddenly, Genesis (the Mew you stole from Professor Birch and then left in Professor Oak's care) came to greet you. It gave everyone hugs and cookies before teleporting the whole group back to Humilau City. Upon arriving back to the city, the first thing the whole group decides to do is...

...using her psychic power to create parasols made of psychic energy for everyone. After dancing in the rain for an hour, you decide to make preparations for tomorrow's Gym battle. As both Pyra and Elizabeth are weak to Water, they will only be sent out as a last resort. You decide that the best Pokemon to use are Marshall (type advantage) and Helena (Water Absorb), with Floppers as backup. Pyra seems upset that this is yet another Gym she must sit out of, but you reassure her that the next Gym will be one where she can dominate. After level grinding all of your Pokemon...

...a Lanturn. Uh oh. You decide to stay in and use Substitute as the Lanturn outspeeds and goes for Ice Beam, expecting a switch. Damn, this means that even Marshall isn't safe! Seeing as the only way to break the Substitute is for Lanturn to use an Electric move, you decide to make a risky move and switch to Elizabeth (Nidoqueen). It worked! Lanturn's Thunderbolt harmlessly bounced off of Elizabeth. You can now outspeed and OHKO the Lanturn with Sheer Force boosted Earth Power, but what if Wallace also switches out his Pokemon? Especially into something that is immune to Earth Power, like Gyarados? After thinking it through, you decide to...

...Elizabeth outspeeds and finishes it off in one Thunderbolt. Gyarados faints! Wallace switches back into Lanturn. Elizabeth outspeeds and OHKOs Lanturn with Earth Power. Wallace asks what your Nidoqueen will do against a Water Pokemon she can't outspeed. This time, he sends out a Floatzel. You decide that now would be the time to switch out Elizabeth and bring in Marshall. Wallace commands Floatzel to finish the Chesnaught quickly and tells it to use...

...Ice Beam but Marshall holds on and uses Wood Hammer which knocks the Floatzel through the Gym Wall KOing it and leaving Wallace with one more Pokemon which is of course Milotic. Everyone in the Gym is momentarily entranced by the Milotic's beauty. Quickly snapping out of it you order Marshall to...

...try to hang on as you use a Hyper Potion on him. Milotic uses Scald, but somehow fails to get the Burn. Marshall uses Wood Hammer and gets Milotic's HP to the red! Unfortunately, Milotic uses Recover to heal most of the damage. As Marshall once again goes for Wood Hammer, Milotic retaliates with Ice Beam and leaves Marshall with only 1 HP! Time to switch to Helena! She barely takes any damage from Milotic's Ice Beam. You take this chance to heal Marshall with a Full Restore, while Milotic goes for Recover again. You tell Helena to use Substitute, while Wallace decides to...

...play the Unova 'Gym Leader Final Pokemon theme' over the Gym Speakers and gives a fascinating yet long speech on the difficulty he had catching his Milotic. (It turns out he spent 6 weeks trying to fish for a female Feebas many years ago and invented the 'Trendy Phrase' to pass the time whilst mixing berries with Aroma Ladies). He commends you on your battling capabilities. Your wife tells you to battle strategically and you respond by telling Helena to use Light Screen. Helena easily takes another Ice Beam and knowing your Special Defense is now very high you switch the now healed Marshall in then...

...tell him to use Wood Hammer to dent Milotic. To your surprise and relief, Wood Hammer crits, and Milotic faints! The Wave Badge and a Scald TM are now yours! Everyone congratulates you on your victory. Since it was your Pokemon that did all the hard work, you decide to throw them a party. Everyone else is of course invited! You decide the best place to have the party is...

...Professor Juniper's Lab. As you are all enjoying the party Wallace speaks to you about the next Badge. He says the next Gym not only has no type speciality but you must use other people's Pokémon. After a discussion with your party you decide to use Claire's Lilligant Lillian, Your Wife's Alakazam and Serena's Scrambles (Now a Venomoth). You reassure your Pokémon that this is only for the one Gym which they happily accept. You thank Wallace for the information and bid Juniper farewell. Claire (Who since acquiring glasses has seemingly become incredibly knowledgeable) tells you the next Gym is in Slateport City and as you and all your Pokémon Teleport there you find out the Leader is...

...Seto Kaiba! Apparently, the story is that he was playing a Children's Card Game with Joey Wheeler, and Joey's Time Wizard began to malfunction, causing a rip in the time-space continuum. Kaiba fell in this rip and ended up in this dimension. Kaiba was found by Professor Birch, who then taught him everything about Pokemon. He became a Trainer so that he could find and capture Dialga and Palkia so they can return him to his dimension. He quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a Gym Leader. You decide to challenge him, but Kaiba's not here! According to The Gym Guy, Kaiba is currently in...

...Lavaridge Town. You Teleport there and see Flannery there but she is now blonde with her hair up in a bun. Not questioning her new hairstyle you ask to challenge her for the Heat Badge but she says you must first get the Card Badge from the Slateport Leader before she will face you. The Slateport Leader is seen standing by...

...a Reshiram statue. Kaiba is saying something about Reshiram being a Blue-Eyes rip-off before he notices you. You challenge him to a duel Pokemon Battle for the Card Badge. Kaiba accepts and says he'll wait for you at the Gym, before flying off using his Blue-Eyes White Dragon jetpack. After making a mental note to get one of those things, you Teleport back to Slateport Gym. After verifying that you are indeed using three Pokemon that aren't yours, The Gym Guy allows you to enter. You then begin the Gym battle against Kaiba. He goes first, and sends out...
