The Everlasting Pokémon Journey

...The Gate Guards. Each one has a t-shirt showing which Badge you must show them. They tell you it can all wait until tomorrow and you respond by saying they are welcome to enjoy the festivities. You look around and see Claire and Winona now truly friends again are still talking and laughing, Serena, Juniper and Erika are having a discussion about...hair you think, Skyla is teaching Bonnie about the mechanics of flight and Professor Oak is entertaining nearly everyone with his stories. As everyone's Pokémon are playing happily you notice Claire's Lilligant Lillian helping your Chesnaught Marshall to find a Flower to give to Pyra. You smile at seeing this Pokémon event, kiss your wife and

...tell her that as soon as the League is over, you'll use your money to buy a new house for the two of you and your child to live in. Sabrina thanks you and asks if the house can be purple (her favorite color). The house can be any color she wants. After dancing for a while, you notice Marshall giving Pyra a rather beautiful rose. She hugs him and then kisses him. It's about time! Suddenly, one of the guards tell you that someone tried to crash your party. It's Ash and Pikachu. Serena begins to cry and run to him, hugging him. She had thought that he died in the Lumiose Zombie Attack. Seeing as Ash is a friend of Serena, you allow him to stay this time. Serena asks how Ash survived, since she saw him surrounded by zombies with no way to escape. Everyone seems interested in hearing this story (except Marshall and Pyra, who are now making out in the back). Ash says that it all started when...

...he was shopping for Serena in Lumiose when he heard a scream and she disappeared. (You yourself ound her later of course). The Red hatted trainer was outnumbered but the combined force of all his Pokémon helped stem the tide before Pikachu lighting up Lumiose Tower blinded the zombies momentarily which bought enough time to allow Sceptile to cut them all down. (This brings a collective cheer from all the Grass Pokémon present and Erika). Serena kisses Ash for his heroics and says she will rejoin him in travelling, Ash kisses her back. Claire seemingly upset leaves the room and as ordered by your wife you go to see what's wrong. You ask her and she says that despite bring recognised as the Region's Strongest Trainer and an expert on Pokemon behaviour she is upset that she is not in a relationship and everyone else seems to be. Saddened somewhat at hearing your friend sound upset you reassure her by saying...

...that she should not lose hope. One day, she'll find the special person who'll love her and they will be happy together. Until then, it's best to focus on the things that makes her happy instead of things that make her upset. She thanks you for these kind words of encouragement. Back at the party, everyone is listening to Giratina's story of that time when Arceus created Pokemon football. The very first game was Giratina, Dialga, Azelf, and Darkrai, versus Palkia, Mesprit, Uxie, and Cresselia. Mesprit accused Darkrai of cheating by making the entire opposing team drowsy with Dark Void. Darkrai claimed it did no such thing and Mesprit was just trying to disqualify Darkrai's team because Mesprit was just jealous. Eventually, a big fight broke out between both teams, and Arceus had to resolve it by...

...reversing time to just before the Ghost Dragon told the story. He also had a quiet word with Giratina to hold off telling it for another time. As the Mysterious Pokemon took their leave you turn to everyone at the party and thank them for coming. As your party go to bed neither you or Sabrina can sleep, you tell her what Claire said to you after she told you to go speak to her and your wife responds...

...by basically agreeing with what you said to Claire. Claire just needs to enjoy life and have fun. She doesn't have to rush into a relationship just to be happy. She'll meet that special someone eventually. Suddenly, the loud echoing voice that protects the fourth wall spoke from the heavens and complained that this was starting to become a bad soap opera. You find two golden rocks on the floor and smash them with a hammer. The voice then screams in pain. Sabrina asks you to do it again if the voice keeps complaining. The voice promises to behave and then vanishes. The next morning, you, Sabrina, Claire, Serena, and Ash (who is also headed to the Pokemon League) start to climb the stairs that lead to Victory Road. Before entering Victory Road, Serena asks you...

...to battle Ash once you reach the end of Victory Road. You agree to as you haven't had a Rival Battle in this region. You notice that Ash's Pikachu and Claire's Lilligant Lillian are still outside their Pokeball. Claire tells you they are 'Walking Pokémon' which means they spend nearly all their time walking with their trainer even though they do often sleep inside their Pokeball. You thank Claire for this explanation and give Lillian a pack of Pokepuffs and Pikachu a bottle of ketchup. As you all traverse Victory Road you see...

...a Shiny form of himself. You are informed that Golurk is a Ground/Ghost Type so order Marshall to use Wood Hammer, the Shiny Golurk is seriously wounded and the trainer calls a halt. It turns out that the Golurk trainer is actually a Protector of sorts for the League as you are strong enough he lets you pass as you continue you then meet...

...Youngster Joey. How did he get here? Is his Rattata that OP? He challenges you to a battle and sends out his top percentage Rattata. Pyra defeats it in one Flamethrower. Joey then sends out a shiny Arceus. What? Arceus is about to fire its Judgment, but the Delphox again outspeeds and OHKOes. Joey yells that it should not be possible, and then accuses you of cheating. You tell him that since you actually bother to train your Pokemon, Pyra had the clear advantage, and calling her skills and power cheating is an insult. Joey then runs off. You notice that so far, a lot of the trainers in Victory Road are far weaker than they should be. You suspect that something's wrong. Suddenly, you find a treasure chest. You are wary of it at first, but after Pyra assures you that the chest isn't a trap, you decide to open it. Inside was...

...a piece of Charcoal. After you are initially disappointed Claire tells you that Charcoal gives a boost to Fire Moves so you give it to Pyra. As you continue to traverse Victory Road you see Roxanne working diligently on something. She sees you and challenges you to a friendly battle and sends out her Probopass as you send out your Nidoqueen Elizabeth which you order to...

...use Earth Power. It would have been a OHKO if not for Sturdy. Probopass also used Earth Power, which cuts Elizabeth's HP in half. As Roxanne heals Probopass, Elizabeth fires an Ice Beam. Without full HP, Sturdy can't save Probopass from Elizabeth's next Earth Power, KOing it. Roxanne then sends out Golem, while you switch to Marshall. The Chesnaught smashes into Golem with Drain Punch, while Golem countered with Fire Punch. Another Drain Punch, and Golem is down. Roxanne is impressed with your Pokemon's skills, and you admit that she's one of the few trainers you fought in Victory Road so far that was actually challenging. She sends out her final Pokemon, which is...

...a bipedal blue Pokemon. Having never seen it before you say 'What's that?'. Before the Pokedex can do its thing Claire tells you it is 'Armaldo, The Plate Pokémon and is Rock/Bug.' You quickly switch to Slifer as Armaldo uses Sword Dance. You order Slifer to use Earthquake as he shrugs off an X-Scissor. After a Dragon Claw Armaldo falls and you win the battle. Roxanne congratulates you and says to Claire she is pleased she was not the only one who listened in Trainer School. Your party thank Roxanne and get through a Forest thanks to Ash's Sceptile's Cut. Your party reach a Meadow between the two Victory Road Caves and meet...

...a shiny Absol. It tells you that there is a great disaster that will soon happen. It recommends you turn back, for the safety of both you and the rest of the group. You tell the Absol that, as much as you appreciate the warning, you have to get to the Pokemon League. The Absol warns that everyone there will die unless they leave now. You ask the Absol why. According to the Absol, an ancient and powerful force is slowly approaching the League and its evil power is far too much for any living thing to endure. You promise the Absol that if anything does happen, you'll save as many lives as you can. Absol wishes you luck on your foolish goal and runs off. Claire is worried about the League, so she calls Marshall (the Elite 4, not your Chesnaught) to check up on things. He says that everything is just fine. After telling him everything the Absol said, Marshall tells Claire that he will prepare evacuations if needed. You decide to continue forward in Victory Road. About 10 minutes later, you see...

...Elite 4 Marshall and his Pokémon fighting a large number of Hydreigon. He yells that the rest of the Elite Four are holding off a host of villainous Pokémon outside the League. Marshall tells you and Claire to help him. Your Chesnaught (Also fittingly called Marshall) and Salamence and Claire's Dragonite and Lapras join his Machamp and Mienshao. As you fight the Dark Dragons you notice...

...that they are acting similarly to the Haxorus and Masked Man. Pyra confirms your suspicions by telling you that they're possessed. Suddenly, one of the Hydreigon begin speaking. It's the same demonic voice that possessed the Masked Man! Introducing itself as The Darkness, The Darkness applauds your efforts to try and stop it. It says, however, that you are wasting your time. While you were getting your last Badge and battling through Victory Road, The Darkness was harvesting the innate darkness inside the hearts of humanity and Pokemon worldwide. It then tells you to look up. You see a massive black cloud surrounding the League. It's so massive, the entire sky is black. A demonic face forms in the black cloud and spits fire at the League, quickly burning it down. Thankfully, Elite 4 Marshall informs you that everyone was safely evacuated. How the heck are you supposed to fight smoke big enough to blot out the sky? Claire suggests...

...using the power of friendship to make the dark cloud. You, your party and about 100 or so League employees and all Pokemon all join hands and start chanting. A mysterious large beam of light shoots from yours and Claire's red wristbands which causes the cloud to grow very small until a Hyper Beam from everyone's Dragon Pokemon finishes the cloud off never to come back again. Elite Four Marshall his voice now calm thanks you for eradicating the dark cloud and informs you that his numerous Conkeldurr will work around the clock to rebuild the League Building. He tells you all to stay in the neighbouring hotel for the night. As you head to bed you turn to your wife and say...

...that the two of you need a vacation after all the craziness that happened. Your wife tells you that she'd love nothing more than to...KILL YOU! It's The Darkness, and it possessed Sabrina! But how did it survive? The Darkness explains that you and Claire overlooked the fact that it was still possessing its vessel when the Hyper Beam destroyed the black cloud, allowing a piece of it to survive. It had simply pretended to die and free its victims so that everyone would drop their guard, which would make them that much easier to kill. It then goes on to say that even if you did find the rest of it and destroy the numerous fragments of its soul, it wouldn't matter. As long as there is darkness in the hearts of humans and Pokemon, it will exist forever. Then, it warns you that once its full strength returns, it will kill your friends before killing you. You take out your red bracelet to destroy it and free Sabrina, but it already left her body. After making sure Sabrina wasn't harmed or possessed anymore, you quickly call the others on your Pokegear to warn them that The Darkness is still alive. Sabrina asks what you will do now. You say...

...you will face the Elite Four and Champion Claire tomorrow as planned. As even though the Darkness says it can not be stopped you will just keep turning it away like a rather formless Team Rocket. Jessie and James overhear and say that is an unnecessarily cruel jibe at them. You apologise for your indirect slur. Sabrina kisses you and gives you a hug before saying you need rest as the Elite Four and Claire will be a huge test for you. You nod and fall asleep immediately. Your wife lies next to you says 'Sweet Dreams my love' to you before falling asleep herself. The next morning...

...you go outside and find Ash waiting for you. He never did get to battle you in Victory Road thanks to the trouble The Darkness caused yesterday. You tell Ash that they can battle right now, before you challenge the Pokemon League. Ash accepts and sends out his Pikachu. You send out Elizabeth. Ash tells Pikachu to aim for the Nidoqueen's horn, before quickly saying that he was just joking. Pikachu goes for Iron Tail, while Elizabeth blasts it with Earth Power. OHKO. Ash calls back the fainted Pikachu and sends out...
