The Everlasting Pokémon Journey

...Greninja. It is naturally faster than Elizabeth and uses Hydro Pump...it misses. Elizabeth uses Thunder and the Kalos Water Starter too faints. Ash starts to get frustrated and sends out his Pidgeot aa you quickly switch to Slifer. After some impressive Aerial combat the exhausted Kanto Bird too faints. Ash starts to laugh as he sends out Charizard and Mega Evolves it into Mega Charizard X but as Slifer is faster it uses Dragon Claw which seriously wounds the Kanto Starter. Charizard uses Outrage in Desperation which despite s Critical Hit cannot prevent it falling to a second Dragon Claw from Slifer. Ash now enraged sends out his final Pokemon Sceptile which uses Ice Punch which hits Slifer square and he faints. Ash cheers as you send out Pyra who just survives a Sceptile Earthquake to One Hit KO it with a Charcoal boosted Flamethrower. Ash Throws his hat to the Ground. 'I guess I will never win the League.' He says. 'If Greninja's Hydro Pump had hit...' He is cut off. 'A true trainer never bemoans his luck.' Elite Four Marshall says sternly. 'One must also be willing to never give up.' Claire said now wearing a long green dress, white shoes and a denim jacket. 'But.' Ash says before being cut off again. 'You must also learn from your mistakes.' Claire says adjusting her glasses...wait are her and Marshall holding hands? Ash after hugging Pikachu (Who is still carrying a bottle of ketchup) wishes you luck in your League Challenge. Marshall tells you you will not be able to challenge the League until tomorrow as him and Claire need to go over a few things. You thank him for rebuilding the League overnight, tell him and Claire you will see them tomorrow, say farewell to Ash and go back to the Hotel with your wife. Once back you say to Sabrina...

...that the two of you should go somewhere and spend the day together. Sabrina says that as much as she would like to, she thinks that it would be a better idea to train your Pokemon for the Elite 4 instead. As powerful as they are, it would not be such a bad idea to make them even stronger. You then ask Sabrina if she could help you train. She says she is happy to help. The two of you then go outside to have a battle. Sabrina sends out her Espeon, while you send out your Jellicent Helena. Helena and Espeon both go for Shadow Ball. Helena avoids the 2HKO (her HP is more than half), while Espeon's HP is in the red. Not wanting to risk a crit finishing off Helena, you switch out to your Mawile Kira, while Sabrina switches out to her Celebi. Kira sets up a Swords Dance, while Celebi uses...

..Earth Power which dents the little Mawile. The Mawile uses Crunch which seriously wounds the Grass/Psychic Type which uses Thunder Wave then Recover. Your Mawile does not move that turn due to being paralysed. Mrs Sabrina You smiles and says she cannot remember the last time the two of you had a battle. You smile back then order Kira to...

...use Crunch again. This time, the attack manages to KO Celebi. Sabrina then sends out a Gardevoir. Suspecting that the Gardevoir may use a Super Effective attack, you switch out Kira and send out Pyra. Sure enough, the Delphox was hit on the switch with Hidden Power Fire. Pyra sets up a Calm Mind, while Gardevoir hits her with Shadow Ball. Thankfully, the Calm Mind allowed Pyra to avoid the 2HKO. Another Calm Mind, and a Shadow Ball takes Pyra to the red. Pyra attacked with Flamethrower. Thanks to Blaze, as well as the +2 Sp. Atk boost from Calm Mind, Flamethrower easily KOes Gardevoir. Sabrina sends out Espeon, who also gets KOed. Sabrina then sends out Slowking. Now is probably a good time to switch. You send out Slifer the Executive Producer Sky Dragon Salamence. Slifer sets up with Dragon Dance, while Slowking attacks with...

...Yawn. You curse as you know Salamence must KO Slowking in the next turn before he falls asleep. You use Dragon Claw, Slowking survives and Slifer falls asleep. You switch to your Mawile as Slowking fires off an Ice Beam which the Mawile easily takes. After a Mega Evolution boosted Crunch Slowking falls and you win the friendliest of Pokemon battles with your wife. Sabrina heals both teams Pokémon, hugs you and says 'You really are ready for the League'. You hug her back and say...

...that thanks to her help, you're ready to win. The next morning, you see Ash and Serena outside the Pokemon League building. Apparently, he already challenged the Elite 4 and won, but was crushed by the Champion. He intends to go on a short journey to grind and try again. Serena is leaving with Ash, so this is where you two say goodbye. She thanks you for the fun times on the journey, and wishes you all of the luck in the world (you'll need it). You enter the League building, buy as many Hyper Potions, Full Restores, Full Heals, and Revives as you can, and kiss your wife before entering the main hall alone (only challengers are allowed beyond this point). There are four doors, one for each Elite 4 member. Since you can choose the order of which Elite 4 you fight, you choose to enter the door on the far left. Inside, you see...

...Claire talking to a bald old man with sunglasses in a room resembling a laboratory. She sees you and smiles 'It warms my heart to see you challenge the League of which I am Champion.' She takes off her glasses and tosses her hair. 'I'll be waiting in the Champion's Room. Good Luck.' She hugs you and leaves. The old man then sees you. He seems to be about the same age as Oak and is wearing a lab coat and a hat. 'Whoa Hey!' He says 'I am Blaine of the Elite Four. I have seen many challengers come and go. Are you as good as the Champion says? You better have Burn Heal'. He takes off his hat momentarily blinding you as he sends out Magmortar. As the Elite Four Music plays (A stylised form of the Unova Elite Four Theme). You take off your own hat and send out Helena who you order to use...

...Surf, which Magmortar just manages to survive. Magmortar uses Thunderbolt, which does tremendous damage. Fortunately, Helena's Surf finishes off Magmortar. Blaine then sends out Ninetales, whose Drought brings out the sunlight. It probably knows Solarbeam, so you switch and send out Pyra. Blaine predicted the switch and orders Ninetales to use Nasty Plot. Pyra sets up a Calm Mind, while Ninetales uses Nasty Plot again. Pyra goes for Psyshock, which almost KOes Ninetales, while Ninetales's Fire Blast almost KOes Pyra. A Flamethrower finishes off Ninetales. Blaine then sends out Houndoom. Damn! Fortunately, it goes for Sucker Punch and fails as you heal Pyra. The sunlight then fades. You switch out Pyra, only for the poor Delphox to get hit with Pursuit! She barely survives, and you send out Elizabeth. You heal Pyra while Houndoom hits the Nidoqueen with Flamethrower. Elizabeth quickly takes it out with Earth Power. Blaine commends your skill and sends out...

...Rapidash. The Fire Horse uses Earthquake which takes out Elizabeth. You Didn't see that coming. You send out Slifer who manages to dodge a Horn Drill from the Rapidash. Slifer uses Earthquake one hit KOing the Fire Horse. Blaine applauds you and sends out Arcanine his final Pokemon Arcanine. Despite a crit Extreme Speed and a Fire Blast two Earthquakes by Slifer gets you the win. Blaine congratulates you and says 'Whoa Hey! Now I am sure of the Victors strength. Go on to the next room.' He then sportingly fully heals both yours and his Pokémon. You Thank Blaine for the battle and enter the next room. As the room lights up you see a beautiful woman with waist length silver hair wearing a Yellow crop top and Silver Jeans. 'Oh, you were expecting Wally? I'm back from vacation although he did do an admirable job of filling in.'' The woman says as she tosses her hair. 'I am Karen of the Elite Four. The Champion and that Marshall say you are good. Let's do this.' As the music plays you send out Marshall and she sends out Vileplume, now that's a curve ball. You respond by...

...staying in and using Spikes, while Vileplume used Sleep Powder to no effect. It seems Karen expected you to switch. You tell Marshall to use Spikes again. Vileplume used Sludge Bomb, but it bounced off harmlessly off the Chesnaught's body. Karen then realized that Marshall has the Hidden Ability Bulletproof. As Marshall lays down his third and final layer of Spikes, Vileplume goes for Moonblast. Fortunately, Marshall was able to survive the hit. You switch and send out Kira, who dodges Sleep Powder. You Mega Evolve Kira and have her go for Swords Dance. Vileplume lands the Sleep Powder this time, leaving the Mawile asleep on the floor. You use a Full Heal to awaken Kira, while Karen takes this time to switch to Houndoom, who loses 1/4 of its HP thanks to Marshall's Spikes. Karen commands Houndoom to use Fire Blast, expecting to KO the Mawile, but she didn't expect Kira to attack first with Sucker Punch and OHKO Houndoom. Karen sends back out Vileplume, who gets OHKOed by Iron Head. Karen is impressed with your skill so far and sends out Honchkrow, who uses...

...Attract. A male with Attract. Of course. You order Kira to use Iron Head but Kira is paralysed with Love. You try again but are immobilised by love again. Kira gets hit with an Incinerate putting the little Mawile in the Red. You are concerned so switch to Slifer the Salamence. Karen orders Honchkrow to use Sucker Punch which does nothing. Slifer ends up eating a Sucker Punch the next turn but faints the Dark Bird with a Critical Hit Dragon Claw. Karen tosses her hair and praises you for your skills. She sends out her final and main Pokemon Umbreon and...

...as you switch to Marshall, Umbreon uses Double Team. Thankfully, Marshall's Drain Punch hits, leaving Umbreon's HP in the red. Unfortunately, Karen uses a Full Restore on her Umbreon. You use Drain Punch, but it misses this time. Umbreon goes for Confuse Ray, and you switch out Marshall for Kira while Umbreon goes for yet another Double Team. Kira hates hax just as much as you do, so she not only lands a Play Rough, it crits and takes out Umbreon, so you win the battle. Two down and two more to go! Karen warns you that the next two Elite 4 members are seriously tough, so watch out. Back at the main hall, you decide to take the door on the right, which leads to the room of the next member of the Elite 4, who is...

...a face you are familiar with, Marshall. He politely greets you with a firm handshake and for some unknown reason he is shirtless. 'I am Marshall.' He yells. 'Fighting Master of the Elite Four, trained by Alder and one of the Champion's closest friends.' You ask him what him and Claire were discussing yesterday. The Fighting Master either didn't hear you or ignored the question. 'Challenger, I know you are strong, Time to battle.' He gives a friendly smile as the music starts to play (Oddly enough it's the 'regular' Unova Elite Four Theme playing this time). Marshall opens with Machamp and you send out the Shiny Water/Ghost Type Helena. The Fighting Master orders Machamp to...

...use Knock Off, while Helena used Surf. Both attacks cut the other Pokemon's HP to less than half. Thankfully, Helena is faster and takes away the rest of Machamp's HP with Surf. Marshall sends out Breloom, while you switch into Pyra. Pyra easily KOs the Breloom with Flamethrower. Upon seeing Marshall switch into Poliwrath, you decide to play it safe and call forth your Chesnaught Marshall. Marshall greets Marshall and says that he has heard great things about him. Marshall has also heard of Marshall and of all the great things he's done. Marshall then tells Marshall that it's probably best to talk later and get back to the battle. Marshall agrees. The Chesnaught predicts the Poliwrath's Ice Punch and blocks with Spiky Shield, then KOs with Wood Hammer. Marshall then summons Conkeldurr, while you decide to...

...switch to Helena as Conkeldurr's Superpower passes harmlessly through her on the switch. Helena uses Surf as Conkeldurr switches to using Earthquake. Helena's STAB moves are stronger than Conkeldurr's non STAB and after taking three Surfs Conkeldurr faints. Marshall complements you on your skill and sends out his Final Pokemon Mienshao. You switch to Pyra as Mienshao uses Payback. Critical Hit and Pyra faints. Your Chesnaught Marshall flys out into the battle in a rage as Mienshao uses Bounce, you order him to use Spiky Shield just before Bounce hits. Mienshao uses U-turn which somehow also Crits leaving the Chesnaught wounded. You switch to your Flying Type Slifer who manages to tank two Hi-Jump Kicks before two Dragon Claws get the win. Marshall heals your Pokémon and congratulates you. He says he feels that you may just have what it takes to beat Claire, (You recall Ash telling you he was easily beaten by the Champion). Marshall also reveals him and Claire have been friends for some time. You thank the Fighting Master for the battle and enter the Final Elite Four Room where you see you will face...

...Gary Oak. Or was it Blue? Assbutt? In any case, it's Oak's grandson and your rival. He says that while you were away, he became stronger. Strong enough to become a member of the Elite 4. Unlike the rest of the Elite 4, he uses Pokemon of different types. You send out Pyra, while your rival (you decide to refer to him as that, since you forgot what his name is) sends out a Hydreigon. He tells you you're about to have a dead Delphox. Think again! Before this battle, you replaced Pyra's Calm Mind with Dazzling Gleam, which she uses to OHKO Hydreigon. Your rival then sends out Rhyperior, who gets OHKOed by Grass Knot. You decide to switch out Pyra and send in Marshall, while your rival sends out...

...Blastoise, of course his starter Pokemon. Expecting an attack you order Marshall to use Spiky Shield. He does so but Blastoise is readying himself for a Skull bash. You order Marshall to use Wood Hammer as the two Pokemon charge at each other. Marshall manages to knock the Shellfish Pokémon down, removing it from the battle but the recoil damage seriously hurts the Kalos starter. You quickly switch him for Helena the Shiny Jellicent whilst Oak's Grandson sends out...

...Exeggutor. Helena uses Shadow Ball and Exeggutor faints due to it being a critical hit. Your rival's final Pokemon is Arcanine. You decide to switch out to Elizabeth, which is fortunate because the Nidoqueen just took a crit Crunch to the face. Elizabeth survives and KOes Arcanine with Earth Power. Your rival congratulates you on your victory and tells you to get out of his room. He doesn't even heal your Pokemon. Wow, rude! Back in the main hall, you see an elevator that definitely wasn't there before. You heal your Pokemon and enter the elevator, which takes you up at least 7 floors. Upon exiting the elevator, you see a long hall that leads to the Champion's room. Of course, you see the champion Claire waiting for you inside. What you didn't expect to see inside as well, however, was...

...how well decorated the Champion's Room was. You have never seen such a well decorated room in your life. Claire sees you and smiles. She has an elegant mint green ballgown on, green rimmed glasses and her hair up. 'My dear friend.' She says. 'Congratulations on making it this far as I knew you would. I am Claire, Champion and seeker of knowledge on Pokemon.' She adjusts her glasses and smiles. 'I really enjoy travelling with you but it appears now we must battle.' She takes her hair down as grand yet elegant music plays. She sends out her opening Pokémon Machamp, you open with Kira. You ready Kira with a Play Rough but Machamp's Quick Claw Activates meaning Kira eats a Dynamic Punch confusing her. The little Mawile misses the Play Rough in her confusion before hitting it the second time. Machamp shrugs it off and uses Earthquake KOing the Steel/Fairy Pokémon. A gasp is heard by the people watching on the big screen outside. You realise the Champion's strength is not overstated, worrying Earthquake would One Hit KO Pyra you send out...

...Slifer. The Salamence's Intimidate, plus Kira's Intimidate from earlier, nerfs Machamp's Attack. You take this chance to use one of your few Max Revives on Kira, while Machamp uses Ice Punch. Slifer's HP gets cut in half instead of going to 0 thanks to the Attack drops. You decide to switch back to Kira, who lowers Machamp's Attack even further, and easily takes an Earthquake this time. You Mega Evolve Kira to ensure Machamp's defeat, but it goes for Dynamic Punch again. Kira thankfully lands the Play Rough this time and Machamp falls. Claire's next Pokemon is...
