Wow, I've never had banana ice cream...it must be super delicious!

The nicest ice cream dessert I've ever had was probably Baked Alaska...it was chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream surrounded by hot merangue (sp?) topped with whipped cream and with forest fruit in the middle =P
The contrast of hot and cold was just heavenly...it was probably the most delicious thing I've ever eaten...apart from strawberry soup =D

Ben and Jerrys make an ice cream called baked alaska but its really just a vanilla version of phish food with polar bears instead of fish =P
 
Baked Alaska eh? That's lying in my freezer right now! It's really nice, but Phish Food is REALLY nice! I like the sound of a hot and cold combination.. sounds nice!
 
I had Baked Alaska the other night but it wasn't chocolate so meh.
Has anyone tried rum balls?
My auntie makes them and I have to say they are heavenly!
They are little balls of chocolate covered in coconut.
So simple but delectable!
 
Mmmm....coconut goes so well with chocolate. Those rum balls sound delicious! Home made things like that are so much better than things that you buy in a shop =)

I just came up with a neat idea...
Do you guys think that dipping those banana lollies into melted chocolate then refrigerating them until the chocolate is hard then eating them sounds good?
I wanna try that sometime...

I'm not really a fan of chocolate + coconut, it just doesn't go for me. Anyone heard of Munchies? Man they're so good! Munchies are chocolate squares with caramel in thiem, and in the middle is a crunchy bit.. Mmm.

I can't really stand cocounut... not even on those chocolate ball things we make all the time here... haha. I use pearl-sugar instead, on the chocolate balls I bake :)
