The Evolution that never existed

I have already said how I felt about the new evolutions in another thread, so I'll just C+P.

Lets take a look at the new evolutions given to previous pokemon:
Weavile <--Cool, but ultimately useless, at least its good for revenge killing/dying fast
Lickilicky <--Thanks for ruining Lickitung
Magnezone <--looolwtf?
Rhyperior <---Fugly
Tangrowth <---"We are GameFreak and lack imagination"
Electivire <---"We experimented with banned substances and came up with this, lets put it in the game, even though Electabuzz is faster than it"
Magmortar <---LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Glaceon <--Softspot for Eeveelutions so they all pass
Leafeon <---^
Mismagius <---Cool I guess, even though its outclassed by Gengar
Honchkrow <--Actually, I like this one, just with the shiny wasn't pink
Togekiss <---Serene Grace is fun so it passes
Yanmega <--"Hi, I'm Yanmega, don't use me k"
Gliscor <--Pretty cool. Strong, fast, and tough
Mamoswine <--Again cool, but as if Piloswine wasn't enough of a pain.
Gallade <--Eh, never really played with it because I'm not a big fan of Psycic types anymore, I guess it looks cool though, arms are kinda "meh"
Probopass <--C'mon, don't make me make the obvoius joke.
Sucknior Dusknior <---LOL I'm bad
Frosslass <---Cool

We really didn't need Bonsly or Mime Jr. since Sudowoodo and Mr. Mime are awful anyway. Actually, I like Mr. Mime, just Sudowoodo. I could live without Wynaut. But Scizor was really necessary because I love Scyther so much but Steelix I feel like we could have done without but w/e. The two I hate because they proved GameFreak lacked imagination or because I loved thier prevo so much was Lickilicky and Tangrowth, I mean thier prevo's were sooooooooooooooooooo cute. And Munchlax is cute too, so it passes, also i love Snorlax.

I really can't stand the pre evos "Baby" pokemon like Pichu or Cleffa
they are useless little space fillers that are just too easy to squish
 
What everyone else said, as well as Azurill. Maybe they didn't realize the line was so popular, and it didn't matter what came out of the egg when it hatched?

And, since it doesn't have an ev., I'm saying Skarmory. I just don't get the thing. It's a metal bird. Whopee.
 
LICKILICKY = Fat and ugly. (Nothing against fat and ugly people)
Leafeon = Awesome
Riolu = Meh.
Cleffa and Igglybuff = Meh..
 
got to disagree with the Skarmory thing it lets you have a flyer that can stand up against rock attacks plus its Steel the best type ever :)

they need to make an Ev for it though
 
i think pichu was really a waste of space its a pikachu in every way execpt different ears and tails

Take. That. BACK. Riolu is great, and Lucario wouldn't be anything without it.



An evolution that should have never existed is Politoed. It's terrible, looks nothing its pre-evo's, and is a walking joke.

Bellossom is unnecessary also. It lost a type, and was given poor stats.

And Tangrowth. As said before, it's essentially just a Tangela with arms. Woot. >_>

Pokemon and evolutions aren't simply about battling.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what OU means. *feels slightly dumb*
If it's a battling terms, I was speaking aesthetically and commenting on what ugly poop-piles these Pokemon are, and how they were graphically unnecessary to include in any game of any sort.

But I don't understand how being overused can contribute to how good/bad a Pokemon is. Just because a lot of people like it and use it doesn't make it good OR bad, just popular. :/

Well it's a tier, a grouping of pokemon that can compete with eachother. Venusaur is overused in UU (underused) but can't compete with OU pokemon. Like how most OU's struggle against UBERs (Mewtwo, Kyogrue, etc.)

I don't know how you can ever not want a pokemon to exist. Some are asking for the exile of almost 20 pokemon. Think of that as 20 species, compared to a total of 493 that's alot. Tangela (and probably Lickatung) needed evolutions. Tangrowth is pretty much all you could have done with Tangela's design when creating an evolution. Lickillicky...well they missed the ball with that one, not very many people will deny that, but I've come to accept it. It's not perfect, neither is Dodrio. One day maybe it'll prove useful =/

Haha sorry, I just can't get into the whole Riolu/Lucario thing. At the start I liked them both, but now I just have something against them, and the only time I ever capture them is to fill my Pokedex. Maybe I'd warm up to Riolu if I tried a solo run with it, and now I'm in the mood to try a solo run lol
I'll let you know how it goes haha.

Agreed that Politoed shouldn't be an evolution of Poliwhirl, but (In my opinion) I think it should still be included in the game, I kinda like it's design and if they had maybe named it something else and had it as a single Pokemon, that would have been better. Plus then they could have added an evo and maybe a pre-evo in later Generations, making Politoed the middle of a 3 Pokemon evolution line. Just my opinion though lol.

Bellossom I'm just meh about, haven't really cared for it and they should have done the same as what I said about Politoed.

Agreed on Tangrowth. Eww. But I suppose there wasn't really much they could do with it. Still.... Even I could have been more creative than that.
