Hey everyone! We're trying to get the word out on the arrival of The Extreme Speed Open #2. If you weren't around the first time around, then you'll definitely want to take a look! If you'd like to sign up, simply post here and you'll be added to our roster.

What really makes our tournament different from others is that you're not constricted to one battle per round and weeks of waiting for opponent. We keep track of your progress with battle points, not just wins and losses, that you wager on battles against anyone else participating in the tournament. Once you reach a certain number, you move on to round two. You also get the chance to battle in any style you wish. Standard, UU, Doubles, Ubers...They're all out on the table as long as your opponent agrees on the terms of battle. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the ESO is our LL (Lucky Loser) match-ups, which pit battlers who have both been knocked out of the tournament against each other for a chance being revived and awarded additional battle points. We try to be creative with our later rounds, steering clear of normal brackets in favor of more interesting and fun options. Expect some team match-ups, mini round robin groups, and any other crazy idea we can come up with!

NOTE: This thread is only for sign ups. You may also sign up on the main ESO thread located here, or PM any one of the ESO coordinators (Myself, Volkner's Apprentice, POKEMASTERALEX or World King's Lugia) saying that you would like to be entered. The rules are posted at the top of the first page. The main ESO thread will be used for discussion and rule clarifications. Please keep all conversation about the tournament there.

And just a heads up, make sure if you're interested in signing up that you check out the first three posts of the MAIN ESO THREAD FOR EVERYTHING YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW! That way we can avoid confusion in the early rounds and just have a whole lot of fun! ;)

I said I wanted to join in the other thread but Im not sure if we need to sign up here too but I want in

All right I would like to join the tournament. Now I'm not exactly sure if you guys are going to devide the players by regions (Like I read at the ESo main thread) then my pick would be America.

Just throwing some ideas around, Angel Bunny. But you'll find out that once the tournament starts, time zones don't really matter until the later rounds =P

In any case, welcome to the ESO!

For later posters, unlike the PC Wi-Fi tournament, we won't divide them in Time Zones for now, because in the first round, you get to pick who you wanna battle, and how many points you'll wager. Since everyone will be setting up their matches, there's no use for a timezone division in the first round; like Aura said, only until later rounds.

Thanks for joining Dukey...hopefully you'll be able to test out your newly found wifi skills well here ^_^

Hey. I guess I'll give it a try and join here as well.

I'll join! And I'll hopefully get Dukey as an opponent. Heh...

You already signed up in our Rules/Results thread, Devin :P. Make sure to read said rules just to make sure you know how round one works!

And sure, Serephy, we'll add ya to the list. I see you're a newer member, I hope you stay here at PC and become active! :D
