The Extreme Speed Open Tournament - Rules and Results

Actually I think we can go with this:

1st place-3 of ALEX's bred pokemon + 4 prizes of your choice + the winners "trophy".

2nd place-3 of ALEX's bred pokemon + 3 prizes of your choice + the runner-up "trophy".

3rd place-3 prizes of your choice + the "bronze medal".

4th place-2 prizes of your choice.

5th/6th place-1 prize of your choice.
 
We'll do two groups of 3 (Red Group/Gold Group) and have a round robin. Each person will battle their group members and the bottom scorer in each group is out. Those two bottom scorers will fight for 5th place (which gets only one prize, just like 6th, but 5th gets to pick first.)

Then the semi-finals will be:
Gold #1 vs. Red #2
Red #1 vs. Gold #2

With the winners facing off in the finals. The losers will fight for the "Bronze Medal Match" aka 3rd place. Then we can start up on tournament two which will have a bunch of new quirks!

Basically we'll just go by records and scores. So if you won both your battles 6-0, you'd obviously move on. If you were 1-1, but won your first battle 6-0 and lost your second 0-1, you'd have a +5 score to go along with your 1-1 record, which would determine who moves on.

Yeah, I'm surprised they haven't...either Bendak isn't responding to sims PMs or sims isn't online to check them. XD Which we can't tell, because he's still invisdable.

Anyway, I'm off to the breeding dungeons to do-over my team but hopefully Znale/Prince will complete their match soon, as well as mystery/smarties.



Tip: Work out a specific block of time to be on to battle folks! "Let's battle Tuesday!" doesn't cut it.

Are you sure that's what you want sims? Are you really sure? Others have said the same thing, and now they're, well, you don't want to know.

Seriously though, I'd love to fight you. If only Bendak were on so that you could give a definate answer.

I'm sure he won't mind. The tournament is called EXTREME SPEED for a reason....
 
And he was just on like, 20 minutes ago >_> Guess I should have badgered him instead of sims via VM. haha. Well I have to stand neutral via the other teams so good luck to you guys. If you want, we can pair Matt/sims and Ben/Alex up now and change it later if you guys do end up having that test battle.

But yeah, he's consistant on battling me firsdt before he decides, but that's not important now. We'll battle each other soon enough, provided he wins his match.

I'll be winning, of course.

Sorry, the mods would get pissed off if I used to much profanity. Besides, that was the serious scene, you don't cuss there, you cuss in the action scenes or when you need a cheap laugh.

Just get the battle done eventually, so that I can get on to 6-0ing you.

Matt...the Yoda, in your avatar didn't always have a tuba, did he? O_o...I could have sworn it was a regular Yoda when you first joined the PC Wifi tourney.



But anywayz, yeah, like I said, we can unofficially pair you and see if Ben's alright with it. I can understand him wanting to test his partner though. Me and Znale are just going for it :P

No, he's always been holding a tuba because I am, you guessed it, a tuba player! I also have Obi-Wan with a tuba, I just haven't ever used it.

I can also understand Bendak wanting to test his partner, it makes sense to want to know how good the person you're fighting with is. I've battled Alex a couple of times and I feel comfortable with his abilities because of it.
 
Well....I put the match ups on the standings post. If you guys end up switching, I can just change it.
