I still don't know about Alex, he doesn't have wifi at school...which is going to make getting these battles in difficult....*cries* We're putting the good name of the ESO to shame...Although there's really no avoiding long stretches of battlessness in later rounds like this.

On a positive note, Ryan and I have been cooking up a plan to keep battlers involved in the ESO during downtime (like now -_-) and periods where you're not participating in the tournament. It's still in the works right now, but the result could make this tournament the biggest thing since fruit smoothies (THAT'S RIGHT, SMOOTHIES). So stay tuned! ( And get your flippin battles in....)

I doubt the battle between me and Alex will matter either way. I dunno if I can pull a 5-0 or 6-0.

Like I said, my match will definitely be delayed to this weekend at earliest. I can schedule something out with World King. Znale is trying his best to catch Prince online so that match should happen soon. Besides that, I think Smarties-chan is our most avoiding member ATM. Perhaps she needs to be replaced...unless of course someone else has information about that match.

Garchomp has officially been moved to the uber tier. Use him here and you'll be disqualified (unless you choose to have an Uber match.)

So far we're still having trouble with matches. I've talked to World King and we're battling either tomorrow, Monday or Tuesday, hopefully the first one.

POKEMASTERALEX isn't on that often nowadays, so if he doesn't show sometime and try to contact Bendak for the match, Bendak will move on with Matt.

Znale/Prince have probably had the least amount of online contact with each other as well as posting here, so both will be out if the match isn't completed by sometime on Friday. If that's the case, regardless of the score between World King and myself, both of us would move on to make the round robin groups even.

Smarties/mystery have both been online often but only mystery has really made an effort to inform around here. If this match isn't completed by sometime Friday, mystery will move on with Graceful.


Buuuut none of that should apply because everyone is going to finish their matches tonight, tomorrow, or SCHEDULE a time with their opponent to be on during the week and prove to us the Team/Scroll round is working. :D Right!? haha.

Those statements are all so correct, I can't even begin to fathom the correctness of them.

But yeah....if people aren't active enough to do their battles, it totally defeats the purpose of the scroll rounds. And I happen to thinks it's a sweet idea. So yeah...battle please? Kthanx.
 
well i guess that can be a rule for future ESO tournaments you must be active, if people are disqualified for inactivity couldnt that scew up the third round?
 
It certainly does...and it makes it unfair to their teammates. I'll make sure next tournament to alert anyone that makes it to round 2 that they need lots of time to at least check in if not actually finish their battle.

I'll also make it mandatory that everyone has to SCHEDULE a time with their opponent to have the match as well as schedule 1-2 backup times just in case and report all the times.

you should probably also make it manditory that they post their schedules in this thread... it would mae things more organized.

I was just about to suggest that. lol.
If we know when the battles will happen, then we know when to expect results.
 
That's actually a good idea. Time zones and days of the week/what hours you're free to battle. Thanks Graceful :)

Smarties better get on today, cause mystery can only battle on weekend. Otherwise it's bye-bye for me =(

I do like that schedule idea though. Although two weeks should be PLENTY of time to get a battle in, we are in different time zones and such, so I guess it's understandable. But people not being around totally defeats the purpose of scroll rounds....

Technically not....We're still working out a way to get people into round three with all this lack of battling going on. It's kind of difficult when only two battles have been done, but maybe we'll get one more done this week (not likely) to make things easier. We might skip round three all together and go right into the semi finals....i guess we'll see.
 
I'm definitely battling World King tonight or tomorrow, depends on when he can.

Otherwise, a particular three people are definitely eliminated...then we might have 8 people in round 3, with two groups of 4. Since all of those 8 people are on often, we should get that done quick and the semis can commence as well as signups for tourney two!

I'll make sure everyone gets their schedules posted for round three so we know when battles can happen and when they should be done.
