not only that but ever since his ban Mystery has been inactive so we have to wait for him to. So more waiting will have to be done, and while WK and i have been pming Bendak. Bendak has only PMed me once, im sorry but that slightly ticks me off...

well thats what i have to say, hopefully their can be some decisions made.
 
Either way, if you guys recall (which I really should have posted on the front page) we planned on having the third round end this Friday anyway, so tournament-technical speaking, we aren't extending anytime.

However, we are Extreme Speed. Regardless of the situations, WK and Graceful have both been on plenty of hours each day for the past two weeks. Ben's had his shot, if he's just too busy he can come say so, but we can't give out more extensions now unless they've already been requested.

As for Mystery, I'll try my best to make sure he's on. He's been PMing me under a different username, but since his ban is up tomorrow (maybe earlier, I'm unsure) he should be here. He told me he's ready for his matches, so be definitely sure that the Extreme Speed Open shall finish it's first tournament by next Friday.
 
well than i guess round 3 is over because today i cannot battle at all ( yeah schoolwork), im just here for now to say that i cant so no matter what im definitely not battling. I think its about time to move on anyway...

Thanks for trying, Graceful. The third round will technically still end tomorrow at...let's go with 8pm EST. We'll still wait on World King and Bendak if somehow (miraculously) they finish their match, otherwise it's the boot for Ben. Still surprised in him..hm.

If you guys are on tomorrow night....We could theoretically complete the tournament tomorrow if everyone wants to stay on for a good 45 minutes to and hour. I know I'll be here =P

Then we can divide up the prizes and get ESO #2 rolling!

Those will be the match-ups, yep. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Ben is going to battle. He's been on a couple times, including this morning. I guess he just doesn't have time/the motive to battle or maybe he's reworking his team or something..no matter what though, I'm surprised he didn't just come here to say so.

Anyway, this lack of showing up here on this particular thread will result in him getting his 6th place prize last. Meaning, Smarties and I will be both receiving our prizes first. He'll still be guaranteed one if he shows up (and if soon, obviously not today, then he can pick before us like it was planned.)

So the prize pool will work like this:
1st-4th: mystery/graceful/aura/lugia choose theirs in the order that will be determined by the semis.

5th: Matt-O
6th: Ben (chooses last if he doesn't show)
7th: Ryan
8th: Smarties

Just a reminder to you guys:
1st place: The winner gets the little trophy to put in their profile, mention as a previous champion on the first page of this thread, 3 of ALEX's bred Pokemon and 4 choices of prizes.

2nd place: A runner up trophy (still working on it lol), 3 of ALEX's bred Pokemon and 3 choices of prizes after the winner has chosen.

3rd place: 3 prizes after 1st/2nd have chosen.

4th place: 2 prizes after the above.

5th-8th: 1 prize each, choosing in order.

lolzorz. He's done for this tournament, go battle Aurasphere. :P Let's try to get the semis finished this weekend, guys! I know you probably all want to win and be ready for each match (taking in some time to relax and focus), but...aw heck, take the time you need, just don't be too long XD. I just want to be back in action soooo not being pushy, kthxbai
 
Graceful posts the first win of the Semi finals with a 1-0 victory over me. Man was that close....Nice job!

closest match ever i won with 17 hp left, Had i lost i would have still enjoyed that ( because in reality im surprised i didnt lose). Matches just dont get any better than that and thanks Aurasphere for making it all worthwhile.

Don't get too relaxed, you still have those finals to think about =P

Speaking of, I'll VM World King and Mystery right now and see if we can't get this thing done tomorrow, if not tonight, with any luck =P
 
Alright everyone, just a heads up on some new additions we'll be bringing to the second installment of the Extreme Speed Open Tournament!
Competitors in Round One will now only have to get EIGHT BP to reach the next round. We decided 10 was a tough goal to meet and it didn't happen quickly enough. In addition, battlers will also receive only 3BP to start their challenges, instead of the previous 4. You will still receive +2BP for donations and lucky losers will still duel for only 2BP to get back into the game.

The legends rule has also changed. We're going alongside the PC Wifi tournament. This means that all OU/BL/UU legends will be permitted on teams, without restrictions. For us at Extreme Speed, this will be a test period (as it is on the Wifi tourney too.)

And except for a few minor changes in the amount of members we'd like to have and the fact that we'll require schedules in round two so we don't have the team mess we had before, I think that's it.

Oh and ignore the set date in the first post for now, it's very much pending based on when we start sign-ups and how soon we get a huge amount of members.
