Luckily I get the Nintendo Newsletter every month, right. XD And since I'm a FE fan, no hair on my head that wouldn't click on a preview for FE: Shadow Dragon. XD

I was happy to see the older FE games. XD

I hope so as well, 'specially FE 6. I guess, it would be a good choice as well. Many people like Roy, but barely know what his story is. They all heard about Eliwood (or not XD), but Roy... Everyone knows him from SSBM, everyone loved him. But they don't know his history. =/
 
Maybe I can do a manga on it... (HEH!) But heck... I'd need a WHOLE crew of people to help out... Then again... give me a few years to improve my artist skills... lol.

Oh and since my uncle has a scanner now (FINALLY!) I'll probably be uploading some of the FE pictures I've been itching to throw up... (eh? throw up... so lame...) XDDD Be expecting it! (as for now... i'm restricted to school computers :P)

Anyways, I need help on my FE7 game. =/ I can't seem to be able to complete the level of the Water Temple. I feel so lame for asking for a few hints that I can use. ;-;

My Team:
Eliwood - lvl 19 - Lord
Hector - 16 - Lord
Lyn - 11 - Lord (this is so bad. >: I know I should have trained her more x-x)
Rath- 18 - Nomad
Lucius - 17 - Monk
Erk - 3 - Sage
Nino - 5 - Mage (has to join)
Oswin - 7 - General
Wil-15 - Archer
Priscilla-11 - troubadour
Florina - 13 - Pegasus Knight
Heath - 10 - Wyvern Knight
Sain -3 - Paladin
Kent - 17 - Cavalier
Jaffar - 13 - Assassin (automatically joins)

I could make changes in my team, but I'm almost out of items. >.< So I don't have that many options.
 
ah... Hm... I might have to get back to you on that tomorrow... I have to go somewhere so I'll reply on some tips tomorrow... So endure! (..... Uncle is actually lagging so I'll throw some stuff on you to help out.)

First and foremost, you will need a hefty amount of mounted units to compliment your slower walking units with rescues when needed. The floors will disappear quite quickly (maybe 5-7 turns after they appear) so your goal is to hit fast and hard while keeping your moving momentum. You don't technically HAVE to use the max amount of units but feel free to. (I always use the max for the hell of it hehehe...) One thing for sure is if you can manage to get your crew of airborne units over to the far right side where Sonia is and obliterate the bottom units, all of the connecting pathways will appear permanently.(I forget sometimes since I have NOT attemped this in a while. Hehehe...) Only attempt this if you reached the middle of the map since it's a huge risk for your air units to just go bravado and hope to reach the far side unscathed while trying to evade all those units, especially the dragonriders and dragonlord. (I'm starting to sound medieval hahaha...)

You probably might need some tankers in front most of the time but keep another in the back in case ambush units appear, which will be later. If you go around the top side *which u probably will*, a good choice would be to keep Jaffar in the back with a healer(not technically needed since Jaffar can evade pretty much any lower level unit *Ahem except possibly high skill myrms/swordmasters and heros, mercs are so-so*) and another tanker to engage the ambush units. If you're lucky, you will get 2 peg knights and a falcoknight instead of the dragonriders(which is a *PHEW* XD) that spawn in the bottom 3 staircases and use your flyers to intercept those, if they can manage. (I'll need to know what units ambush you.)

Be careful of the berserk-using Bishop in the mid-right side of the map. Usually he berserks my Jaffar (a total pain since Jaffy can 1-hit with Silencer sometimes) or any other unit within his range of the staff, so keep a handy whatcha-ma-call-it staff to restore whoever gets hit by it( and turns mad). You can always steal it with some of the other items around carried by units but be careful since Merlinus will NOT join you in battle hence the need to carry only a few items into battle. (I suggest giving Jaffy a lockpick since he can still use them for the top-right treasure hoard later.)

Uh.... Use these for the time being and then report ot me your results... If there is no progress... Then SEND ME THE SAVE FILE! (I assume you are using the VBA lol.)

I think it would make the most sense to either remake:

Fire Emblem: Fūin no Tsurugi (For Roy) or Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo (For the continuation of marths story..Cont. of shadow dragon.)

Thanks for the hints, Naruto, they really helped. Putting Hector and Jaffar on the rearside really helped to do away with the inforcements. Luck helped a little as well. I managed to beet Sonja with Oswin, who had only 2 hp left. I didn't get all the chests, but ... whatev.
And now I'm really out of healing staves. x) I hope that in the next chapter, I can get to the stores quickly. Sell and buy stuff. 'cause I need it. XD
But hey, I got Lucius and Rath promoted. So it ain't that bad. XD

And I agree with your proposal, Blaze. Those have the best chances. Although it'd be fun to play FE4. x3
 
BUWAH?!?!? LOL. Good thing it helped you. I am trying to get the converted emulator of the VBA onto my PSP (which my uncle has) and I'll probably start up on it soon. Congratulations on the Promotions! (Heck you will need it in the up coming match.... Linus/Lloyd depending on who you fought in that one earlier fight...) MUWAHAHAH! If you fight Lloyd.... you're gonna go through hell...

@Naruto: Well, I defeated Lloyd before. He was a good man. D: Too bad he had to die. >_< MAny of the characters in FE shouldn't die. T_T
Now it's Linus. Planning on letting Lyn train a little on the archers and nomads. x)
 
Hehehehe... Linus is actually hard... (then again I'm thinking he has a tomahawk and a Light Brand) since his strength, skill, speed and defensive stats are pretty high. (Not as high as Lloyd though (skl/spd wise) if you fought him.) Lyn will get a major workout in this stage and you can even pit her against the bandits and fighters on the left side. Training Nino is highly advised... She will be a major hitter until the end chapters (assuming you managed to level her up decently on the earlier map.) She is the only female character to reach a 30 Str/Mag stat plus her overall stats are above average (excluding defense but if you're lucky... you might hit around 20ish...) Good luck on your clash against the Mad Dog, Linus!
 
I liked the White Wolf more. *sigh* Anyways, I just tried that map. And I managed quite niceley, untill Vaida killed Wil. >_< I was there, I ALMOST WAS THERE. Buh, this is frustrating. Gawd, Hector is a real tank. ô_o I put him with Oswin against the heavy armored units that come from the north, with a little help from Erk, who quickly moves towards the west.

Training Nino? :o Could try that. ^^
 
Oh and keep Eliwood in the back to talk with Vaida... Hahaha... That was actually pretty simple but yeah she did obliterate units from behind when I first played... hehehe... Oh and I might go post up a guide about um... AHEM... some more minor cheats you can do.... Lol...

yeah I can help with that,

Simple:

Avoid him at all costs...Remember, you don't have to defeat him to complete the level.

If it comes to it, Sacrifice someone to keep him busy.

Just power through on to the castle and always check his attack range..

Yeah, should keep that in mind. XD From the moment the area is starting to get quite empty, I'll send Eliwood back. x) He needs to gain another level before I finish this one.
But for now FE7 is pushed a little aside, seeing as I can finally fully enjoy FE9. I'm quite interested in the Laguz, and I think the story of FE9 is quite awesome. 8O Not to mention the bird kings are hilarious (well at least Naesala WAS hilarious untill he did that thing with the thing that everyone thought was extinct... >_<#) He's gotta do some serious good bussiness if he wants to get back in green with me. x) Reyson seems cool. :O He reminds me a little too much of Krad (on the outside at least), but I'll ignore that. (On the other hand, Naesala's smirk reminds me of Dark. x) <- I got an emblem for thinking these things XD )
Tibarn seems like the most trustworthy of them all, the most relaxed, confident king... Although this is just my first glimpse judgement. I'm about to play chapter 17 (Day Breaks). Unfortunetally, I was unable to recruit one of the knights in the previous chapter. I seemed to have picked the wrong person... Gah. >.<

Oh, and absolutely adore Lethe <3 She's an amazing unit. =D As I said, I'm very interested in the Laguz and she's fantastic. And it's so cute when she's about to do a critical. She purrs or meows a little. So cute. XD (*cough* I'm repeating myself...)

Ike is a decent lo-... ranger as a character. He's totally the opposite of Eliwood, or Marth (I think) as well. Ike's a loudmouth, rude at times and quite a hothead. But his intentions are pure, but it's like Nasir says: "You're convictions are that way because of your youth and innocence. Someday they will be tested." It's the hard thruth. And not just for a Video game, but also in real life. :B
And he's a good unit as well. Quite the swordsman. XD Got him to lvl 20, so he won't be far from promoting... unless it's like Eli and he's gotta wait until a certain chapter?

Anyways, the artwork never ceases to amaze me. And I think the characters are amazing as well... But I keep thinking I love the characters of FE7 much, and much more.
Rath > Astrid, Erk > Soren (he ain't that bad, but at his current level, Erk pwn'd everyone, Soren doesn't. Soren is a 1-hitter, Erk a 2-hitter), Guy,Lyn, Karel > Mia, Zihark, Florina > Marcia (lol, when you recruit her brother), and so on. I can't say I dislike the characters of FE9, no not at all. Just, those of FE7 seem more special(?), dunno how to put it. ô_o
 
Thanks for the website, I really like it even though it's in a different language than english. I finally finished the game (after losing multiple times because of my recklessness, I know the barren battlefield very well).Though I reckon there should be something like a creature campaign afterwards.
 
Nah.

Creature campaign sucks.

After I complete an FE game...I just do a ew game and make different choices than before xD.

Like; Pick the Paladin instead of the Hero...Train this person instead of this one..Y'know?
