I believe mine was Red in Elementary School.Oh and I got Yellow the day it came out.Yellow was my favorite because of the Pikachu following you xD
I sucked at them both because I didn't understand the point of the game lol.

But I had a guide (actually RB are the only games I ever played using one), so I had no real problems getting through the storyline, except for some "overpowered" bosses like Misty

My first Pokemon game was Yellow and I still have it. It was the second game I ever got, Pokemon Pinball being the first.

I think I did pretty good in Yellow for a five-year-old.

Gold, I was stuck on route 30 for the longest time (I didnt know that I was supposed to go back to new bark town xD) and then i finaly finished it after I got my sapphire version and finished that one

I had Red first when I was 4, I sucked majorly at first. Then I got a amazing team, was just about to go to Giovanni and my game crashes. Back then I was so pissed.
