Okay, It's been a long time, I've been practicing and improving some of my skills. ​

I'm not an entire expert of graphics or art yet, but I'm sure I'll get there in my own time. So let me show you some of my graphics and some criticism please. ​

some of your pieces are really good, some arent that good.
i think your photoshop ones are better than some of your gimp ones

i think you should get more fonts though. some of them just don't fit with the picture. dafont.com is a good place

Thanks for the feed back :D yeah I prefer Photoshop to GIMP, I can't handle Gimp to well.

Your works is pretty good.

I think the icon is nice. Has some nice colors. =] The text is okay, but I bet you could use another type of font. What I can suggest it maybe add some textures to your icon. Your icon would look a little less boring. Adding textures is just a suggestion, you don't have to do it, I just think it'd spice up the icon a bit. ^..^

That's probably all I have to say about the icon. Nice job. I'll check on this thread for more work. =]​

Nice gallery : ) Rly enjoy the icon : ) With vulpix.

But you should pratice the text : / most of the text is kinda bad : D

But I know text always been a hard thing to do. Try using clipping mask on it : ) (Y)

it's really good xDD i love it D;

i like the 2nd and 3rd drapion ones
it seems really small, but you cant really enlarge the sprite without losing quality
you could try cropping it more to make it seem like the drapion is taking up more space

i REALLY like the new one you added with the yellow/orange color scheme

what brush or tool did you use for those wavy line thingies?

Thanks ;D Well, hmn... it was a soft round brush at around 17 in size just draw a diagonal line with the brush and then I just used a smaller brush than that for smudging the painted diagonal line and kept smudging that line till it got a wavy kind of look.

Ha thanks ;D it's just smudging the render and I used a couple of C4Ds and layered them to I think soft light or lighten and set a nebula stock to lighten or colour dodge. I think. anyways adding the one with text.
