It changes before you post, but the font is still the same for your post. Also, look at all the sparkly names!

ok glad it's not just me! Those sparkles scared me at first! I thought my laptop was going wonky or I had finally lost it lol. It's nice to add on to the New Year's festivities though.

It's because the admins are conspiring against me.

But seriously, I don't know why it doesn't sparkle. I have noticed other users who don't have sparkling usernames, so I'm not alone.
