Is anyone going to watch any YouTube walkthroughs and who do you like making the walkthroughs?

I like giancarloparimango11

March/April 5/6 months is usually the time it takes to transate, just look at D,P,Pt,HG and SS

I don't think it takes that long to translate, well at least it shouldn't. Yeah there is a lot to translate and all but Nintendo has been translating for years now, and technology is advanced enough today to have it done quicker. The other things that I think that affect its release date imo is the marketing and transportation & costs. Your typical cargo ship should only take around 9-11 days to make the trip. So say if they started translation before Japan's release date and it took them 3-4 months+ time for shipment then it could reach U.s. shores by January 2011, and after that it would be completely up to them to find a release date (since obviously releasing it right after the shipments arrive in the US wouldn't be a bright idea).

Heck while we're waiting lets start a break-a-wish

Example

"I wish Pokerus was more common."

Granted but it's effects change so that their stats become halved and they turn a hot "pink colour."
lol, for the past three games i have owned (Emerald, platinum, and Soulsilver) i got pokerus... isn't suppose to be rarer than shiny pokemon are...
The starters can leak any moment now, it's today or any of the following 3 days in between... until may 15th...

Oops new pic this ones from wikipedia

and wasn't Johto/Kanto in Kansai region? Which would be the dark blue so that leaves 5 of the colors to make the region in. Wouldn't it be nice if they like split the region in two, like used the purple and half or all of the orange and in the middle had a huge bridge or bunch of islands to battle trainers or gyms on?

I already stated this <.< we take a month then wait using ads to get people that haven't heard about it up to speed then we release it and everyone wants it...then we jack up the price...

It takes us like a month to translate completely...Japan just makes us wait to put them on market...

Hiroshima would be a strange region for the game O.o Go back in time and witness the bombs were actually the legendary Pokemon...O.o

That would be kind of cool but lame at the same time...

https://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml
well they did nagasaki... i mean slateport is placed where nagasaki is in real life... so why not Hiroshima here's proof of Slateport being based on Nagasaki...:https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_world_in_relation_to_the_real_world#Hoenn

I was thinking about that too but I'm thinking it'll be south of there on Shikoku.
Lol, i said it should be based on Shikoku ages ago...
Well wonder how many ports this new region will have if it is based on Shikoku... Hoenn had... like 2... lilicove and slateport city.

Well we should think...What region of japan does this look like?

I was typing my post when you submitted yours, and wow a month...I always knew that they were holding out on us :D

I would love if they used the Korean Peninsula, but it's not going to happen
Lol, I also agree with you... everyone is repeating what I said i wanted a long time ago... Yeah I agree they proably won't do it, if they do and have a national pokedex... it would offend the Korean's as they were once a colony of Japan... and all the regions so far have been based on japan... so maybe they make the continental pokedex or the international dex.

Well we should think...What region of japan does this look like?
Could be Shikoku as they have lot's of water surrounding them... or any coastal part of japan...

I saw the water near the edge, and I saw the guardrail and immediately thought...ocean+guardrail+huge buildings = akashi kaikyo bridge (Japan's largest bridge..and largest suspension in the world I think) in Kobe (which has a huge port) and Kobe is in Hyogo Prefecture which is in southern Japan so the region may be around there. Though the problem is I think it is located in the kansai region which we already have..but other than that...Looks like countless hours of watching travel channel and world geography in freshman year paid off...lol.

Korean peninsula would be okay, but I'm not in favor of it since Korea is a mountainous country..and the last thing we need is more mountains! Though they could re-design the physical features if they wanted. If we were going to use a peninsula then I'm in favor of the Arabian peninsula (who wouldn't want a desert region? :D)

I think that they should use Greece (Arceus movie developers went to Greece for inspirations). It sort of resembles Hoenn imo but it's bigger and offers varying landscapes that it could work.

geeze, now Im really annoyed at this. Leak the freakin starters already!

-rages in my room-

annnyway, onto the regions.... Im not really familiar with the actual names of the regions in japan but Im thinkin' the region could be in that area between hoenn and johto, or that big area (the northern coast) above johto and kanto. They could just flip it around just like they did with hoenn.

Yeah, I know Chosen and Formosa. So most of China's offlimits as well, most of the S.E Pacific. Maybe they can use Valdivostok or Darwin. lol

Realistically, All of Tōhoku is untouched.

we're back to qhat the region looks like? the starters come out the 15th right? i really think they should change the stance of them they are always in the same stance not including gen 3

It just concept art calm down...

Hey I just did some quick work to the greece map I posted above..and realized Greece (if used) could be broken up into two regions...see
