I really really hope so. Strangely enough, the reboot in generation 3 is what really attracted me to it. Cant wait to see what generation 5 brings :D

lol relax my fellow Magikarp lover, it took me awhile to realize that it was based off of real world places. Check the japan map and then check the region map in your games :]

Sure it is, but what´s a reboot?

i think they should use the berry pots again because then it make sense to as of why the plant disappears (it gets too big for the planter)

on another note has anybody talked about the new rival yet? as in the personality will the rival be like DPPt's rival (ADHD, close friend) or more like GSC's rival (jerk, hates you)? I personaly hope the rival is one like GSC's rival because he seemed to be the strongest of the rivals and he battled you more.

They should have bait for fishing that you could make or buy, and fishing should have a visible water thing that you can see pokemon swimming by in, and when they latch on you tap a repeatedly to reel em in.

Aaaaaaand he was a sociopath, "i don´t care about anything that´s not strong, be what it is, animals, people, glass, the sink of your F@(&$ bathroom or even thet dog over there ! * kicks the dog *"

EDIT: that´s what i liked in silver :)

Good idea, but that would be from the good rod after, because the old rod doesn´t have anything to reel with.
The bait could be pokéballs, like, you attach it to the rod and uses it, if you try to capture, you use the one on the rod.
( Would be specially cool with Lure Ball LoL )

I think we should have all 3 of them. One friendly (your neighbor in your hometown), one that you meet on your way (ADHD) and the one that hates your guts. That would make the game more interesting, OR you can actually see all 3 starters. Unlike HG/SS...

According to the above Japanese News Blog, which has been posting other respectably true information about other things, has apparently posted information leaks from Corocoro. No pictures yet though.

In summary:

1) New battle system is like Super Mario RPG, where pressing the button at the right time increases the damage, but decreases it if your timing is wrong.

2) New region is based off Chugoku-Shikoku just like that brilliant guy a few pages back theorized.

3) The Grass starter is named Kaedenta, the Fire starter is called Cowen (Probably not Cow-related, that's just the romanization. It's actually closer to Kouen.), and the Water starter is called Rakkoru.

4) There is some sort of restriction on trading rare Pokemon over from the previous games. A time limit or something.

5) Zoroa is obtained from trading the Lock Capsule over from HG/SS.

6) Zoroa/Zoroark can transform their appearance to that of other Pokemon.

Some of this may be mistranslated thought, not to mention that it may be fake, so take it with a grain of salt and some pepper.

From Patchouli from PokeBeach, tell me what you think.

I second this :) We need a bit more diversity. Multiple 'Rivals' (Or generally people who you battle more than once) from different places with different personalities and goals.

I wonder if there will be Pokémon sports (Triathalon) or the return of contests in Black and White?

speaking of minigames, i always thought there should be a bit more to catching Pokes than throwing a pokeball and leaving it up to chance, I think there should be a little bar on the bottom of the screen with buttons on it and each time you press a button in the alloted time your chances increase.

This is the answer for your idea my friend, it alredy exists, you just don´t know it still works:

Lock ccapsule.... I guess if we find that in HG/SS then some of this must be true.

So just curious, do you know what is the lock capsule?
and maybe zoroa and zoroark maybe able to use transform or a new type version of the same attack, maybe again more powerful than the first one somehow.

CoroCoro needs to leak.

NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) New battle system is like Super Mario RPG, where pressing the button at the right time increases the damage, but decreases it if your timing is wrong. <- Probably fake, what about moves that don't do damage?

3) The Grass starter is named Kaedenta, the Fire starter is called Cowen (Probably not Cow-related, that's just the romanization. It's actually closer to Kouen.), and the Water starter is called Rakkoru. Anyone know enough Japanese to decipher these? ><

4) There is some sort of restriction on trading rare Pokemon over from the previous games. A time limit or something. <- Probably 6 a day like pal park?

5) Zoroa is obtained from trading the Lock Capsule over from HG/SS. < -Interesting and entirely possible at the moment - however Serebii's list of items doesn't include something like this, and their list includes Event Items that haven't been announced I believe... I see it now <<

6) Zoroa/Zoroark can transform their appearance to that of other Pokemon. <- Sounds a bit dodgy to me o.O Not sure how this could be implemented.

They had something like that in FR/LG, cant remember exactaly what it was at the moment though :\

But I believe there is a whole lot more to do with berries. Maybe if you crush certain berries together at a specific time and place, you could make your own hyper poition, or maybe even rare candies :D

I like that idea :). Instead of crushing them at a certain time and place a certain technique could be used.

I said Chūgoku region, And Waffle-San said Shikoku region.

I like the idea of multiple rivals....btw..am I the only one who names rivals after friends? Though one of the rivals wouldn't have a starter since you would have one and two other rivals. I always enjoy the rival battles so 3 will be a charm.

oh ha, sorry Im bad at numbers. Maybe one of our rivals could have Zoura as their starter. I actually name my rivals their proper name. DPPt rival ->Pearl
HG/SS rival -> Silver

It makes the game more intense :] (I read the manga a lot lol)

From Patchouli from PokeBeach, tell me what you think.

If this is true, then:
1) sounds interesting..and it kinda reminds me of the button-mashing you had to do in Gen 4's pokemon contest in the dancing part. hopefully it isn't too difficult for me to comprehend.lol.

2)if this is true then it would be the same area I said that it could be based in. Which means that I got it right! And there could be some huge bridge or islands you battle trainers at between the two portions of the region.

3) Okay, I like them (especially Rakkoru) but Cowen? Surely if that is the name it will probably change by the time black and white come out in America, but if it doesn't then that name will definitely have to grow on me.

5) I'm guessing this will be another wi-fi event or maybe have to go to game stop to get the lock capsule..

6) Hmm, makes sense but will this be the main attraction for Zorua/Zoroark? I hope not. I'm sure they will be decent.
