Yeah but so was rhyhorn and look at what happened to him:). I know they are a bit over the top so I will replace them with minum and plusle.
 
The only evos I want are marowak,lapras,keckleon, and maybe absol.

I'll tally the votes 2 for keckleon and 3 for marowak, 1 for absol, 1 for minum, 1 for plusle, 1 for lapras 2 for octillery. An absol evo sound great , it should probably be Dark/steel so that it's defense can increase (most steel poke's have high defense except for lucario:disappoin) and become a better rounded pokemon:D.
 
Ugh there are alot of pkm that actually NEED evolutions like luvdisc, dunsparce, farfetch'd and others. There also some pkm that need strategic advantages like houndoom or mightyena.

A water starter based off of the Hippocamp or the Loch Ness monster sounds very innovative to me personally.
I've always loved both of those myths. <3 Though this person's interpretation of the water starter reminds me of Gomamon from Digimon. :x
Still not entirely sure about a grass-type bird.. but we do have a water and fire bird, so heck why not? :3

Agree, many pokemon needs improving. But if they improve all of them people will complain, and if they don't people will still complain. xD

It would definately be cool with an evo of Absol, i so vote for that. But I'm afraid an evo would ruin its cool look, but in the other hand it would make it stronger... So they better make it good-looking and strong at the same tme :3 I'm thinking a complete Dark type pokemon, with better defence, hp and sp. defence, and much better Speed stat. That would make a great sweeper.

I love Absol. I was actually rather surprised when I looked it up and saw how relatively low its stats were to most pokemon used in competitive play.
 
I wonder if buying this game affects your characters race...I bet the indiana klan (They're big pokemon fans you know.) are only going to buy pokemon white.
 
I highly doubt that it will affect race, if you've seen the screenies they already thought of a main character.

Now there's something for the remakes!

I'm a little annoyed by the fact that everyone seems to relate to the common words for different colourd people.. They're two of the world's most common shades; everywhere you see, there's something black or white! Don't tell me people freaked out like this when Red and Green came out?! (That would be.. Native americans and...... martians?)

Ahwell. I really hope for some originality in the Pkmn. I know it's been said alot by now, but if it wasn't, it'd be horrible (like 70% of the past-National dex evolutions in g4 was)... The two we've seen doesn't look too bad. I'm hoping they keep that style to the others too.. Altho Gen1/3 typed would always be best...
 
I don't get the race comparisons as well. It seems like grasping at straws to me. When I heard the names I didn't think "OMG racist!" I thought "OMG cool names". Maybe it's a cultural thing, and people are more sensitive to completely irrelevant and inoffensive terms, even when they're not being used in the context of race, in the US as opposed to the UK.
 
I only made the connection in my mind because I used to be a consistent 4channer, so my mind is permanently tainted to some degree.

Anyways, I really hope we get some coll new type combos. Fire/Ghost would be awesomesauce.
