Omg, I'm praying on Bunny rather than Piggy for the center one... God be with us! :D
 
the one on the left reminds me of Alraunes from Tales of Symphonia 2.
the one on the right kinda looks like a platypus and/or a sheep.
the one in the middle looks like a wierd Turtwig

?? starters are never strong. they go for the cute appeal. and how can u hate them when u've only hav seen the silhouettes? give them a chance.
if the left one is a grass duck, then the final evo should be an awesome swan! hehe ugly duckling.
 
I'm praying for the Water starter to be a Water/Poison Platypus. That would win epically.
 
I hope they revela what they really look like today

Those are hideous!!! But even i it's a Grass Duck, I don't think that's the beak, seems too big.
 
Im not going to criticize the Artist ideas, just their appearence. Apparentely they took it from the 1st perspective that they saw, again I think the endpoint of (hopefully the grass starter) is the endpoint of its head, not its face. And its face is facing to the right (oh god please let me be right)
 
I liked what I saw on Deviant Art. Especially the one with the ball of the Middle one's tail having Fire in it. The evolutions can release that Fire... yeah. I'm not good at drawing/thinking up Pokemon, only Neopets, so I won't be concept arting these ones :P
 
The Grass starter is very difficult to read...based on Body structure and its tail, I'd say it's some sort of raptor, which would keep up with the "all dino" tradition for Grass-Starters.

The Fire Starter is easily a Pig.

The Water Starter, I could either see as an Otter/Beaver mix, a Frog (the "tail" could be a tongue), or a Platypus.

no way its a frog, body structure isnt correct, not for any frog ive seen on earth.

if its sumthin with its tongue hangin out, its definitely a salamander, or kappa-ish creature
 
The way I see it is.The left one is a Raptorish thing easily being a Grass/Dragon when it evolves.The Middle is a Platypus or Otter being Flying/Water or Water/Fighting respectively.The Right is a Rabbit being Fire/Ground (or Fire/Ghost based on Dust Bunnies) Im slightly disapointed because in my eyes I always thought the starters would be Grass/Dragon (which is a possibility) Fire/Electric and Water/Ghost but I guess that's not happening

It's been pointed out many a time how the tail has to be leaves, as there really isn't any other explanation, unless it were like, a peacock.

The Edges are too defined to be flame.
