Ken & Len the Aegislash Twins, and Rocky the unnamed Golem

The sound of gunfire gave the twins a direction, following the noise to find a good bunch of gijinka getting caught in a fight. A giant of a gijinka, they found, was handling the fire well—they assumed he had a durable Pokémon given to him—until blood sprayed from his shoulder.

"Iron Defense," Len whispered to his brother as they stood behind the others, only to discover that his skin was coated in a metallic sheen. It faded as quickly as it appeared, much like the Swords Dance Ken had used earlier.

"What do you plan on doing?" Ken liked to bum rush an opponent, but his brother always had an idea.

"Make an opening." Len took a deep breath and sunk into the floor, becoming a flattened mass of darkness. (Took weeks to get that down.) Soon enough, the twins were communicating telepathically. Give the big guy some cover.

Down below the soldiers were gaining the upper hand against the Golem, surrounding him and taking turns to bait him and dodge away. The rifle wielding soldier stood near the back of the room, trying to get a good shot on the fast moving (in short bursts at least) Gijinka while the other two had slung their rifles onto their backs and were wielding glowing blue batons that lashed out with painful lightning as they hit the Golem; evidently he hadn't gotten immunity to electricity along with his stone armour.

A large body leapt down from the floor above, built similarly to the Golem and a lot more handsome. He slammed into the floor, just barely missing one of the baton-toting soldiers and landing at the Golem's back. Still, as Ken reoriented himself from the fall, he managed to punch one of them away and bought them a bit of time with the distraction.

In the back of the room, Len fell from an unnatural shadow on the ceiling, grabbing the rifle-wielding soldier on the way down and slamming him into the cold ground—and if he wasn't dead from that, he was going to wake up with a bad headache. He sank into shadow again, taking cover while Ken played defense, using his boosted strength to resist any damage that came to him.

The soldiers were well trained, but there was a reason that Gijinka had been created and it just plain wasn't in a human's training to watch for enemies trying to jump on you. The soldier that Len incapacitated remained silent and still after he hit the floor but the remaining two acted quickly, the female slipping away from Ken's punch as they both moved to put themselves between the new arrivals and the suit wearing man. The security guards took the prompting and started trying to lure the Golem away, keeping their distance now.

A door opened off to the side and a security guard dressed similar to the ones Brandi had encountered ran through. The pistol he held posed little threat to the rock and steel types, but the two fine specimins of Arcanine that rushed past him were. The two rushed towards Ken and the Golem in a coordinated attack, one feinting to the front and snapping at the stone-armoured man while the other—it's mouth ignited in a Fire Fang—leapt straight at Ken.

Thankfully, they hadn't found out that Ken had powered up, and the soldiers couldn't find the culprit of their comrade's sudden slumber. (The perpetrator in question had snuck back up to the ceiling in the shadowy form he'd taken, hiding in a dark corner and keeping his brother aware of his surroundings like a spy camera.) Instead they stayed where they were near the suited man, one keeping their baton out while the other readied their rifle, taking aim at the two Gijinka.

Ken shoved his arms out to protect himself and the Arcanine latched on to one, its blazing fangs fighting the steely skin not dissimilar to a puppy's teething. The Fire Fang started to burn him, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. Before it actually started to hurt, Ken grabbed the massive dog Pokémon's scruff with his open arm, and threw it into its partner as the latter fought it out with the Golem.

The dogs snarled as they picked themselves up and then in unison they opened their mouths wide, sending cracking pillars of flame at Ken as the Golem once more turned his attention to the soldiers and charged, eager to get back into the fight.

    The Gijinka Project [M] [IC]

    Sylvia
    (Level 22B - Containment Block 4A)

A soft groan escaped into the room as two eyes fluttered open. A loud racket was heard, as if a great struggle was being played somewhere close by. However, where that may have been, Sylvia did not know. Everything that had happened to her in the last 24 hours felt like such a blur. A sick feeling was slowly rising up in the pit of her stomach, and in all honesty, all the girl wanted to do was sleep off what felt like the worst headache she had ever had in her life.

Sylvia went to roll over, but her eyes widened at a sudden development. She could not move in the slightest bit. It had taken her a moment, but the girl realized that her body had a sticky feeling, as if she was laying in a puddle of glue or something. A frustrated moan escaped her lips as she tried with all her might to pull herself free from... whatever was holding her, only to fail instead. Looking around, the girl tried to gather her surroundings to figure out where she was, but the only sight that welcomed her was that of complete and total darkness. The feeling of sickness was quickly replaced as fear began to build up in her chest.

The girl began squirm ever so slightly in her trap. Suddenly, the sound of voices began to fill her ears. Was there someone else close by? Sylvia did not know for sure. However, she knew that she could stay... wherever she was at this current time. She had to escape and figure out just what was going on. Trying to beat down her fear, the girl took a deep breath before shouting as loud as she possibly could.

"Someone...? Is anyone there?!" Sylvia called out, panic evident in her voice. "Please, someone help me!"

    William Lester - Unknown

William didn't feel inclined on responding to Roku's question, especially considering he was there for the Mightyena's sake. Although he was starting to seriously judge whether or not he should just turn and make a run for it. As he turned and glanced back at the door, he heard something muffled from up above. Raising his brows, he turned his eyes upwards, spotting the silhouette of the spiderwoman up there somewhere, along with slight movement off to the right, near the wall.

Sending his companion another little glance, he shuffled closer and lowered his voice. "Hey… I think there's someone alive up there. Distract her, I'll… try to save them."

Immediately after uttering the words, he had regretted them. His instincts were clear from the moment they entered the room. 'Get out, now' they were screaming to him, but he couldn't leave someone –alive- behind with this clearly insane woman. He shuffled off to the side, hoping the spiderwoman was more interested in someone who actually put up a fight, as he scanned the ceiling with his eyes, location the struggling person, more or less completely encased in webs.

William took a deep breath, wrinkling his nose a little. Alright, so… I'm… partially a Haunter. Who's a ghost. And can levitate. So… maybe if I concentrate… I'll be able to levitate as well. He felt incredibly stupid for even thinking something so outlandish, but the spiderwoman and… well, all of the other people that had been trapped had also seemed far-out, so maybe it wasn't so weird if he could actually fly.

Clenching his jaw, he began concentrating, trying to will himself into lifting off the ground. After a few moments of nothing happening, he felt the ground slowly being removed under his feet, but whereas one would normally feel really weird about being suspended mid-air, Will' found it oddly natural. He glanced down, wriggling his feet a little as he hovered over the ground. He then looked up again, as he began rising from the ground, gaining more control over this power as the seconds passed. He didn't even have to move at all for his body to move through the air, but the whole thing still seemed like a weird dream to him.

He soon reached the cocooned person under the ceiling, giving another glance over at the other two before raising a hand in front of him, inspecting his slightly clawed fingers. … Alright, here goes. Please don't hurt the person… He raised his hand and carefully drew his fingers across the webbing, but as soon as the 'claws' made contact, his hand was enveloped in a faint, purple energy, which apparently made his claws cut through the webbing like it was butter. Shaking off the surprise and thinking 'Must be some kind of Pokémon move', he continued to cut through the webs sealing the person in the cocoon, finally revealing the girl with the blue-ish hair, and it didn't take long for William to recognize her as another Gijinka, probably a Glaceon-person.

"H-hey, careful, don't struggle too much, I've got you!" William said to her in a quiet voice, still working on removing the webs holding her down… or up, rather.

    Sylvia
    (Level 22B - Containment Block 4A)

Sylvia sighed in relief at the sound of the voice telling her to calm down. It was quite easy for said voice to probably say. After all, he was not the one that was trapped in... whatever this stuff was with no clue where he actually was. At any rate, at least she was going to be freed from her situation. The sound of the sticky, cloth-like substance snapped her to attention as she glanced downward. Her eyes widened at the sight as faint light began to flood into in just enough to reveal that she was being freed by a set of long, purple claws. Once more, she began to panic, a sharp scream echoing out into the room.

"W-What the hell is this? L-Leave me alone!" the girl cried out, starting to squirm about once more.

Unfortunately for her, the protesting came too little too late. The casing which held her split open, causing the girl to come tumbling out and downard towards the ground. Sylvia screamed in terror as she fell. Her eyes snapped shut as she braced herself for the loud, painful splattering against the floor that awaited her down below.

"W-whoa, calm down! Hey!" William was –not- prepared for the girl to start struggling again, causing him to be torn between trying to just pull her out of the cocoon and continuing to cut it open, but before he could even make a decision, the girl's wild struggling had caused the webbing to rip apart and she plummeted downwards, despite his attempts at catching her.

    "… Damnit!"

Without a moment's hesitation, he let himself drop from his floating suspension mid-air, turning around as he fell to look down at the girl covering up her head with her arms. He grits his teeth as the floor rapidly approached, stretching out his arms and a moment later, he managed to grab a hold of the girl, his arms wrapping around her back as he spun around midair to place himself between the floor and her. He shut his eyes tightly, bracing himself as the hard, concrete floor made contact with him a moment later, causing him to let out a painful "Ungh!".

Pain shot through his body, though not as much as he expected. He was clearly made of much sturdier stuff than if he had 'just' been a human. Still though, it hurt quite a lot, and right now, he couldn't do much else than hold onto the girl and groan in pain. "Ow… ow, ow, ow…"
