The Great Magikarp Memorial

Magi I got snatched by a Pidgeotto before I even knew it was possible. I was so angry hahaha. After that I started saying no to every single event out of fear. Never knew I could get so attached to a Magikarp.
 
I was foolish and lost a good one with a cool pattern because I had to take a chance with a berry tree earlier. rip.
I didn't realize that declining the berry trees can also give you a smaller amount of JP, so I'll probably just stick with that. Seems like a way safer smaller reward.

It's nowhere near similar. I get about 5K JP from refusing, and got 166K for getting the berry last time. High risks, high rewards

166K??? wow i suppose you are super high level lol I didn't get anywhere near that.
 
I lost a shiny Magikarp to a Pidgeotto because I didn't know making it jump enough in the pond would cause the [EXPLETIVE] bird to steal it.

RIP Golden Rath ;-;
 
Oh my god, just had my first Magikarp stolen by a bird. Now I'm going to be sad for the next week. This game is deep.
 
RIP Generation 7 Magikarp. Got Pidgeotto'd. What's worse is that it's the only Karp I had that wasnt nicknamed lmao, and I'm at Gen 11 now

Sooo this was the third time I'd gotten this event and went for the prize on this particular karp. I got greedy.
 
So I've lost 3 karp. RIP.

One to a cursed birb, one to Voltorb and one to a cracked everstone. I really hate those events in this game, they're so mean. I wish they'd get deleted. T-T
 
RIP Russ L the Magikarp

It's funny that the only Magikarp I've lost so far is the one I name after one of my best friends. He's famous for taking the L tho so it's only fitting.
 
lost a pink magikarp to the berry tree today :(
normally I play super safe with cool patterns but I was feelin lucky and it didnt pay off. after that I got a crappy patternless karp too. RIP
