the GSC official art redo project

hello, and im Andinator, quoted as "banner making legend", "makes good sprites", and im also the creator of the Team-bar idea. but ive decided to start a new project. im gonna make the GSC official art style drawings. and ive already made 1:



anyways, im not that good at custom sprites, so im using GSC ones for now. but if you would like to cotribute a base sprite (no color limit, no size limit) that would be noticed. you may also contribute by giving me a vote on which one i should do next. well heres the list:

Uh, no offense, but that Chikorita looks mighty odd. The lines are all wobbly and just aren't up to the correct standard.

Do you simply recolour sprites then?


In terms of art, I'd advise you to use a vector program and to cel-shade; that smooth shading you're doing is something every Photoshop noob does and it makes everything look plastic and indented.
Okay, enough art rants. I've never drawn Pokemon but I might go do Ampharos or something for you. :U See below post. :(

This thread can stay open so long as the project is limited to your contributations only Andinator. :/ I'd prefer if you executed an open public contributions project elsewhere if you really want others to help out, because I've had more than my fair share of problems with this type of project. and for the post above that one, no. i do like trainer splicing and editing. and by the way, im not a noob at photshop. but if you didn't notice, i said this was my second one only. so basically, im not a noob at photoshop, but im a noob at this

I suggest Drawing HootHoot as it's TOO easy. Just draw a cirecle with one leg (I know it has 2)
