Absol has speed, which makes it seem like it can fly. Just like Doduo or Dodrio, they can't fly, but their speed is so high they just have to run then jump.

About Flygon... In DP it can learn Aerial Ace through TM. Why it couldn't learn it in the previous games, I don't know. But it is possible for it to know the move. So I think that justice has been served and the ashamed creators have thought about what they had (or more to the point, hadn't) done XD

What would be your partner in either Ice or Dragon and what would they be doing(I.E dragon would help you fly to get to your destination.)

Yeah, it has speed, but Aerial Ace is a flying move, though. Doesn't it have to fly to use it? And in the games I got my Dodrio to use fly.

I'll tell you what Dragons wouldn't use, Icy things. Super effectiveness!
And Icy guys would just use water stuff, but it has to be anti-freeze because they are so cold and icish that they will freeze water!
