This thread is very amusing
reading it, asuming
that whoever posts in it is very random
ranging from poetry to pure fandom.
Go with the flow, wherever it may go,
It makes no sense, not at all
It's just magnificent, a thread fit for all.

Interesting to find the Incredibly Wandering Thread here at the HG/SS Section once more. I'd believe I can say there is a lot of speculation going around on these games, and a lot of wishes as well. Though, more information is surely to come out this coming early-mid June with new CoroCoro scans. The Pokémon Sunday show might more than likely recap this information, but at least we'll be getting some new information, that's for sure.

I have to say though, what I see so far, looks great. The addition to show wind in New Bark Town, the start menu appearing on the touch screen, and the new female. Definitely some major changes that represent some realistic changes, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.
 
Yes, the starter following us is kind of a plus for me. It brings back not only nostaligic feel from the original Gold and Silver, but from Yellow as well. I think they're doing a swell job, and definitely had some unexpected add-ins for us to see with just a few scans. I can only imaging what'll come next, and when it does there will be another set of endless speculation. Hopefully some answers will be revealed from this set of speculations though, but lets not ruin the fun.

I had this idea for a Photoshop that would perfectly capture the way I feel about the fans' reactions to the GS remakes. I think it's pretty obvious who's who in this picture. The fact that this game is getting all the hype that it's been getting is mind boggling, but that's the fandom for ya.

OK, OK...I'm done. Just had to get that off my chest. Dead horse has been beaten. Moving on.

Oh, yes I knew that, I've actually seen it before. Though, the idea of it is still a great addition for me and I see nothing wrong with it. There is a lot of speculation going around with it though. Such as, do you think it'll follow us through the entire game, even after it evolves? Even, though it's still early to answer this, I'd think it possible, because having it for only a limited time at the beginning isn't kind of exciting if so, to me. Though, I wouldn't mind having the option of having it follow us or not, because I know not everyone will agree with the idea of it always following us.

That would be so awesome. It's a possibility. (So what if it's in the anime?) I would like to have a disguise as well as Lance. Good idea.

I'm so looking forward to Heart Gold and Soul Silver. It has my favorite rival ever! XD
 
I can bet this wont be here much longer. Anyway, great for it to be here. There is a lot of speculation about them but there is also fact and the fact that has reached us so far has me pretty excited. It would be great if Lance and you could dress up as Team Rocket.

We recently did receive news this past Sunday. It was basically a recap of what we already know, but they've announced that on the next show we'll finally get to see a battle scene, most preferable HeartGold and SoulSilver versus that of Platinum. It'll give us a good look at if anything might have been changed with the battle scene and style of the remakes compared to what they brought in from DPPt. So stay tuned for that, and I'm sure we'll have a thread on it when it is revealed on television next week.

Also, CoroCoro scans are due sometime in June. Most speculate that it'll be on the 14th of June, but we'll just have to wait and see.
 
This thread is still in this section, that surprises me as usually it might have been moved by now. Anyway, while we're all talking about further news and speculation. I would think that the next set of CoroCoro scans might be out by June 14th, give or take. Anyway, the games are surely grabbing my attention and I have no doubt I'll enjoy traveling back to Johto when it's released.
 
HG/SS FOR THE WIN!!!

I'm thinking of getting Soul Silver in Japanese (like I did Plat.; I'm planning on getting it at the same place), and then if I feel like it (and have enough money) Heart Gold in Japanese. But I think I'll be getting Heart Gold in English first, since it's common for me to get the "red" English game first, usually on accident.
