(it may be a little short, and stuff, but i'm just trying to catch up!)

It had been a few days since Falkners death, and Scythe had been helping clean up the rubble of the Sprout tower, with his pokemon. Thoughts had been running throughout his head and part of him wanted to just go and sleep forever.. Now the League council was meeting to discuss ending the league for awhile.. Could this really be the end to my journey already he thought to himself.. Realizing it was getting late he decided not to worry about it and said goodnight to his pokemon before passing out in his bed at the pokemon center..

The next morning came all to fast and Scythe was awoken to someone banging on his door, as he walked up and opened it he found Elm standing there rushing him to the meeting room before he even had time to get dressed..

"Ok ok i'm going ELM!" Scythe said tiredly as he walked into the meeting room to find the other trainers sitting there. Elm talked for quit awhile and then he was finally done everything he had said just rushed through Scythes head, for a moment he felt releived to be able to continue his journey, but at the same time he felt as the Elm was not telling them everything ether way he needed to get his mind off everything and headed off towards route 32.. On the way he stopped to see the newly built statue of Falkner, and one small tear rolled down his face feeling sorry for the man he had just met a few days ago but had so much respect for.

On route 32 Scythe enjoyed the sceneary things were finally starting to turn around, and his migrains had seemed to dissapear since that night.. Scythe decided to let his pokemon roam around for a bit and called out Chukapis, and Pidgey, the two pokemon played freely and happily as Scythe laid down in the nice grass looking up to the sky...

"Everythings going to be fine" Scythe said as he started to close his eyes and fall to sleep.. but before he could he heard Chuakpis scream and starting shooting off blasts of electricity at something in the tall grass.. He quickly got up and looked over to see something moving in the grass.. Scythe pulled out his pokedex and checked out the info on it.

Bunneary

The pokedex said before reading off several facts about it that Scythe just felt like ignoring.

"Chukapis use quick attack!" He shouted as chukapis started darting toward the bunneary and finally diving at it, but the bunneary just gracefully moved to the side of the attack..

"Ahh how!" Scythe shouted as the Bunneary started slapping Chukapis with his ears...

"Don't let that bunny do that to you Chukapis! wait for my signal!" Scythe shouted as the bunneary kept on pelting Chukapis in the face.... "Wait for it" Scythe said again as the Bunneary seemed to be slowing down as if it was getting tired...

"NOW THUNDERSHOCK!" Scythe shouted as Chukapis Zapped the wilde Bunneary into the next decade! knocking it out...

"Hmm I might as well go for it.." Scythe said pulling out a pokeball and throwing it at the bunneary.. the ball started rolling back and forth as Scythe stood there waiting!

"Alright I caught a Bunneary!" Scythe shouted as he let the little bunny pokemon out.. The little bunny pokemon started hopping around and looking happy to be apart of Scythes new team, until it met Chukapis and Pidgey.. Chukapis seemed very angry with the Bunneary still from pelting him with its ears...

"Oh come on guys he is part of our team now let him go... by the way I think i'll name you Easter" He said laughing to himself before patting all of his pokemon on there heads...

The four of them then sat down as Scythe started to make some quick ramen over a fire he had just made... Scythe was an awesome cook especially when it came to making Ramen. He enjoyed adding his own spices and various ingredients.. After dinner the pokemon returned to playing as Scythe cleaned up his equpiment and deiced it would be best to move on the Route..
Just as they started walking away Scyhte heard a voice come from behind him.

"Hey you I challenge you to a pokemon two on two battle!" The person said.. As Scythe turned around to see a young boy with two bug like pokemon hovering above his shoulders.

"First of all it's called a double battle, and secondly sure why not" Scythe said in a smart ass way..

"OK then I'll use my Beautifly, and Dustox" The boy said as the two flew forward.

"Fine then, go Pidgey and easter!" Scythe said as the two moved forward and Chukapis stayed behind.

"Beautifly Dustox use gust!" The boy shouted as the two pokemon started flapping there wings causing the wind to take off at fast speeds towards pidgey and Easter.

"Easter use defense curl, Pidgey use gust on your own!" Scythe shouted as Easter rolled into a ball on the ground and was unaffected by the winds, while Pidgeys attack started to push the wind back at the bug pokemon causing them to fly further back into the air and stunning them a bit..

"AHH how did your one pokemon do that against my two!" The boy shouted as his pokemon were still recovering from the shock"

"Lets finish this! Easter now jump on Pidgeys back, Pidgey quick attack on Dustox!" Scythe shouted as his two pokemon took off into the air at the two opposing pokemon... At the last moment Scythe shouted "Easter use Pound on Beautifly!" Easter jumped off Pidgeys back and started pounding the Beautifly repeadtly with its ears as it started hurtling toward the ground.. At the same time Pidgey hit the Dustox with a quick attack knocking it out, and Beautifly hit the ground hard.. falling unconcsious.

"Great job guys, awesome team work!" scythe shouted as his two pokemon returned to his side.

"No way! Your good" The boy said to Scythe as he took off the opposite way..

"That was strange" Scythe said laughing as he returned his pokemon to the pokeballs and continued on towards the end of route 32.

As Scythe was walking down Route 32 the weather was amazing it was such an awesome day out, and it seemed his luck had turned around... He started wondering if anything could ruin this day. As this thought crossed his mind the wind started moving a little faster, and in almost an instance the sky turned almost to a pitch black... Was there a tornado coming? He wondered as the wind started moving even fast and faster and Scythe realized he needed to find some kind of shelter... He started running around frantically looking over everything until he saw it.. There was a huge tree which seemed to be rooted out from the inside.. Scythe ran over to it to find the inside had been rotted out but the base seemed firm...

"Awesome theres enough room in here for me!" he shouted as he dove inside and watched the winds... but just as fast at it had come.. it was gone..

"Woah that was really strange" Scythe thought to himself before hearing some clapping behind him.. Scythe turned around to find another damn cloaked trainer in white.. He started to reach for Chukapis pokeball..

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk… I just wanted to talk, no need to get your pokeball ready" The man says..

"Why should I beleive anything you say! You people have done nothing but cause harm to people" Scythe shouts still ready to grab Chukapis ball..

"Oh please, like you don't know what its like to want power.. everyone wants power.. and this is just are way of getting it" He says before pulling a neatly wrapped letter with a dark black bow around it, and then handing it to you..

"It's to bad though.." He says..

What do you mean?!?!" You ask.

"Oh you'll find out when you read that letter… that is, if you live that long" he says before releasing his pokemon.

"Ahh go Chukapis!" Scythe shouts as the cloaked trainers pokemon appears to be some kind of gas pokemon..

"Spirtbomb use hypnosis!" The man says softly as it puts Chukapis to sleep..

"No Chukapis wake up buddy!!" Sycthe shouts as the man just laughs.

"It's overa already, Spiritomb use dream eater!" He shouts as The spiritomb just stares at the sleeping pikachu..

Scythe looks down at his pokemon to see him start shivering and shouting as if he was having a horrible nightmare.. Scythe starts squeezing his hands into fist... and you can see the vains popping from his arms... "I WILL NOT LET YOU JUST LAY THERE AND DO NOTHING.... NOW GET UP!@!!" Scythe shouts in anger as Chukapis eyes Burst open and he shots a Thundershock at the Spiritomb knocking it out in one hit...

"That power... what a bond.." The man says before recalling his pokemon and just laughing as he disspears...

"Chukapis... im proud you buddy, now come on take a break" he says returning his pokemon before looking at the letter..

"Should I?" He thought to himself.. Before finally ripping open the bow... Then Scythe felt a sharp pain in his head... and falls to his knees..

"AHhhh.." Sycthe screams before passing out completely.

Damion fell to the floor, a sharp pain in his chest. Sweat dropped down from his forehead onto the floor as he dangled his head, in defeat. He was on his knees and hands, shocked at what had just occured. Blood trickled down from his arms and legs onto the white snow, which Damion found out came from a towering Abomasnow.

The man glared down at Damion, his Arcanine's chest filled with victory. The clawed feet of the wolf released heat, melting the powdery snow into hot pools of liquid condensation.

"I-I lost..." Damion whispered to himself, the man chuckling as he withdrew his Arcanine and walked away. The man in black simply laughed,

"Hahaha, what a show." The man stood up from a stone chair that was placed in the center and began to clap, "That was very entertaining. What makes it even funnier, is that you have not yet realized that I...have been toying with you!" The man laughed maniacally, Damion clenched his teeth and darted his eyes at the man.

"But you're all such party poopers. You're getting stronger everyday, now we can't have that...can we?" The man slowly walked in the direction of Damion and stopped,

"I thought killing Falkner, would permanately shut down the gyms. Which would in turn make you all to stop in your frivelous little journeys." The man sighed,

"But oh well. There is always an alternate route..." The man chuckled darkly as he reached into his coat, bringing out a small capsule. He threw the ball at his feet, making a large bird appear in a cloud of smoke. The bird had steel wings and a steel body, a menacing mandible screaming at the dex holders.

"What a shame. This was actually entertaining...but it's end of the line..." He finished cooly, as the Skarmory raised its sharp wings and screeched. Ready to deliver a final blow to the trainers, but just then a rather large pokemon appeared as if from nowhere and kicked it back.

The pokemon landed, a fire erupting from the top of its head, blue paws and feet and dark orange fur. Damion's eyes widened as the pokemon readied its battle stance,

"What's an Infernape doing here?" Damion wondered, just as an elderly trainer walked up from behind the pokemon.

"All of you, leave!!" The man shouted, with daggers in his eyes. He was completely unfazed by the entire situation. His face was that of an experienced trainer, maybe even seen worse that this. Damion didn't trust the man right away, the man was rather short with an very strong build.

"NOW!" The man shouted again, this time Damion didn't bother analyzing the situation and simply ran out of the chamber.

Before leaving, he quickly turned to see the two facing off. The man released a towering turtle, Blastoise, accompanied by a black and blue lion of some sort. A Luxray.

"Well, well…it seems I have an unexpected guest. A familiar one at that…Grecko," With those final words, Damion turned to run down the hall.

He dashed down the hall, he looked besides him to see one of the other dex holders. It seemed he had stayed a little longer too. Damion smirked as he saw the rest of the dex holders up ahead,

"We always seem to get in trouble..." Damion chuckled as he wiped the trail of blood coming down from the corner of his mouth.

Damion finally reached the outer world, a blue sky and far off trees opened up to him. As the other dex holders panted and tried to recover their stamina, Damion sighed as he wiped off his clothes. His earphones had broken and his clothes were now ripped, his skin had several skorch and burn marks from the Arcanine battle. He looked down at his waist to see his three pokeballs on his left side, and on his right hip he saw his pokedex clipped.

Damion wiped the blood from his arms as he quickly looked at his PokeGear,

"Ruins of Alph....grandpa Tai has told me about this place." Damion smirked as he saw the yellow stone ruins, similar to a complete city made of yellow stone. MOuntainais pillars and pyramids as well,

"Hmmm...we get into TOO much trouble." Damion chuckled looking at the other Dex holders,

"So you guys doing good?" Damion smirked, wiping the blood that trickled down from his mouth again. The burn marks on his arms throbbing as he did so, but the boy held back the pain.

He wanted...friends.

Charizard_Man: Awesome post!! You describe everything really well!! And the ending... wow... why to end it!

Cairnes mind slowly fluttered back into consciousness. He opened his eyes but could only barely see through the tiny holes in the burlap sack on his head. He struggled and flailed about trying to get free but it was no use. He could hear voices crying for help and he knew who they were just form the sound, it was the other dex holders. Cairne kept himself relaxed, as it is bes to keep ones self in moments such as these. The Burlap sack was torn off his head and thrown to the ground. And in front of him stood a the black cloaked man and 6 others looking down on him. He frowned angrily at them. On his lap was the letter that the other cloaked trainer had given him and it was unravelled. In bold letters it said END OF THE LINE.

"Sick son of a *****." Cairne frowned to himself.

Behind the men were odd symbols which as Cairnes grandfather had taught him, were an ancient language made from the shapes of a species of Pokemon. Cairne read the wall to the ebst of his ability and it read a familiar quote. "Darkness has a way of keeping the dead alive." The black cloaked man spoke out.

"Look at all of you, so helpless its hilarous.. Part of me just wants to let you go and see how far you would make it without your pokemon... But instead I think it would be better if you really feel how inferior your power is compared to ours.." A gigantic man came up behind Cairne with a knife drawn. Cairne could feel his heart speed up and chills go down his spine as the man drew close and closer. To his relief the man slit up the back of his rope and released him. Cairne pounced athis Pokemon balls and released the Pokemon who was in the first ball he picked up.

"Go Honey!" He yelled and his little Bee Pokemon came out of the ball and buzzed around excitedly.

"Slaking, let's go!" the gigantic man yelled and he released a giant ape Pokemon that looked really familiar to Cairne. He held out his Pokedex.

"Okay Honey lets try a gust attack!" The small bee sent a gust of wind in Slakings direction but Slaking just laid there as the small gust blew over him. His trainer just laughed.

"It's alright Honey, let's use Bug Bite!" He yelled out and his Pokemon flew at Slaking preparing to bite into him Just as he got in range Slaking slammed his palms together with Honey in between them. Honey fell to the ground completely shocked.

"Come on kid I'm not even trying right now!" The large man laughed histerically at Cairnes efforts.

"Use Sweet Scent!" He said to his Pokemon who had just become airborne again. A sweet aroma filled the air and Slaking came to his feet. He slowly began lumbering towards Honey who kept backing up slowly. Slaking became enraged and ran at Honey who flew around Slaking and allowed him to slam into the cave wall. Slaking yelled out in rage.

"Faint Attack." The man said shocked at Cairnes Pokemons ability to actually make contact. Slaking dissapeard an then reappeared right above Honey and punched her hard enough on the head to knock her out. Cairne swapped Honey for Baron and continued the battle.

"Baron, let's go with Tackle!" Baron charged Slaking but before he made contact, Slaking grabbed him by he head and slammed him into a nearby wall cracking the wall and destroying chunks of it in the process.

"Faint attack once more!" he yelled and his Slaking dissapeared again. Baron looked around compeltely frightened and unsure what to do. Slaking reapeared directly in front of him and punched him square in the face.

"Baron!" Cairne yelled to his Pokemon who he was almost sure was dead but slowly Baron picked itself back up. NUUUUM! It pronounced proudly. "Great job Baron! Now you use your Magnitude attack!" Baron set off a small earthquake in the ruins that might as well have done nothing, Slaking just fell back unto its bottom and laughed. "Try ember!" Cairne yelled and his Pokemon shot balls of fire at Slaking who just slapped them away with an open palm.

"Enough's enough! Faint attack!" The man yelled. His Pokemon dissapeared back into the candle-lit room. and reappeared right above Baron kicking him in the head. Baron passed out and Cairne was defeated.

"You beat me? But... I'm the good guy... I'm supposed to win!" He yelled at the gigantic man.

Timeless:Awesome post! How does it feel to be helplessly powerless XD.. Anyways Baron grew to lvl 22! Baron wants to learn take down delete a move to make room? And Honey grew to lvl 19!

(OOC: =O But I was gonna name him Dodger! XDD Sparx was my first choice though. In the end I decided to go with Sho, in honor of my favorite CoTD in DP. He had Raichu and Pichu, and his Raichu kicked the crap outta Ash's Pikachu, he and his Pokémon are made purely of win, right after Shinji, So there =P)​

After having successfully caught the Pichu, which she had affectionately named Sparx Sho, Kaitlyn decided to kick back and relax a bit more, allowing her Pokémon to roam around the area, they replenished their health by feasting on the berries and other wildlife the area, while she sat in the grass taking a breather, thinking about the recent events, wondering if they were just purely coincidence or was someone really out to destroy the world.​

"Mmm C'mon guys" she motioned for Sho, Snoopy and Serena to follow, Serena clinging onto her head, while Sho sat on her left shoulder and Snoopy was on her right "So what's this? All aboard the Kaitlyn express?" she grinned and all the Pokémon began to protest, Kaitlyn shook her head and rolled her eyes "Its fine guys, don't sweat it, you all deserve a break, you guys do much more work than I do, so its no problem."​

​

They said nothing and Kaitlyn continued to walk on, they walked for several moments in silence, before a breeze picked up. Now, this wasn't like a normal breeze, not the nice like breeze you'd get on a cool fall day or the breeze you'd get from a gentle gust, this breeze was harsh and violent, like a hurricane or tornado. She brought her arms to cross in an X-formation in front of her, but it did little to shield her away from the harsh winds "I don't think this wind is gonna stop! I think its getting harsher!" she shouted above the roaring winds.​

​

"We've gotta find some cover!" Kaitlyn then glanced around, hoping to spot a tree or something to shield her for some moments, she narrowed her eyes as blades of grass and particles of dust and sand flew up, blocking her line of sight "Pichu! Pichu!" Sho nudged her with his paw before pointing over to her far right, where there was a large grey boulder for her to take cover behind "Good Job Sho!" she nodded slightly before running towards it and taking cover behind the large rock.​

Kaitlyn and her trio sat there behind the rock, peeking out cautiously from the top and sides, it had picked up slightly, but then as quickly as it came it vanished without a trace, almost like it was never there at all "Wow" Kaitlyn whistled in awe "creepy" she mumbled seconds later however, extremely weirded out by the quick shift in the winds "Pichuu?" Sho peered over her shoulder with a wary expression etched on his face. Snoopy and Serena soon followed after "That's really strange... you think Mother Nature's pissed at us or something?" Kaitlyn frowned deeply in thought "Hmm, maybe I punched that tree too hard and this is her way of punishing me..."​

"What an odd little effeminate boy you are" Kaitlyn stiffened upon hearing a new voice faintly behind her, she then however began to shake with anger "I'm not a boy jackass! I'm a girl you oblivious bastard!" she whirled around to glare at the person, only to be met by a mysterious trainer cloaked in all white "Such a fowl mouth you have" the trainer murmured "Young women such as yourself shouldn't speak like that, its rude and uncouth" Kaitlyn snorted and rolled her eyes "save it for someone who cares" she hissed, having a feeling he wasn't just here by coincidence and Snoopy seemed to agree with her, for he tensed on her shoulder, glaring at the trainer. The guy sighed "Calm down spitfire, I just came here to talk, no need to send your little guard dog after me" Kaitlyn and Snoopy both bristled at the comments and like her Pokémon, both soon began snarling, it was so creepily similar, the man was almost freaked out.​

I said almost.​

"What the hell do you want" she snapped, drawing back just a bit and placing a hand lightly on Snoopy's head, telling him to calm down a bit, she tensed when he moved a hand to dig inside his cloak, ready to be on the offensive if needed "See, nothing threatening, just a letter" he murmured drawing a small envelope wrapped in a black bow. Kaitlyn glanced down at the envelope suspiciously, unsure of weather to open it . . . ​

"It's to bad though.." he sucked his teeth and Kaitlyn's eyes quickly shot up to glance at the man, she didn't like the way that sounded, her eyebrow lifted slightly "What. . . What do you mean?" she could practically hear the sinister smirk in his voice when he spoke "Oh you'll find out when you read that letter . . . that is, if you live long enough to read it" there was a slight rustle coming from his cloak, before he tossed down a Pokéball "Spiritomb go!"​

The Spiritomb was a swirling, purple vortex with green light circling its face. It had a green mouth with a crooked expression and two green eyes shaped like half-crescents. One of the eyes has a spiral-shaped pupil and the Spiritomb itself was attached to a light-brown stone​

The Forbidden Pokémon​

A Pokémon that was formed by 108 spirits. Its constant mischief and misdeeds resulted in it being bound to an Odd Keystoneby a mysterious spell.​

​

"Alright then, Snoopy Get in there with Bite!" her Snubbull wasted no time in charging at the Spiritomb, biting harshly down on its tombstone, this caused the ghost to cry out and glare at Snoopy, attempting to shake him off, but he kept his jaw clamped tightly down on its stone, making its attempts useless.​

​

"Heh, no matter, Spiritomb, use Hypnosis!"​

​

"Close your eyes and use Thunder Fang!" Snoopy did as told, just as Spiritomb began his hypnotizing eye swirl thing, Snoopy's eyes snapped shut and he just bit down harder on the ghosts stone, teeth sparking with electricity, as sparks showered from his closed mouth and traveled up the round floating mass attached to a stone.​

​

Spiritomb cried out again and Kaitlyn smirked "Now toss it!" Snoopy nodded and shook his head a few times before spinning rapidly in a circle and sending Spiritomb flying "Shadow Sneak!" then right before Snoopy's very eyes, Spiritomb disappeared and his own shadow started to get larger, the Fairy didn't know what hit him until it hit him, Spiritomb was standing smugly behind Snoopy with a sinister grin, it hissed blowing out wisps of purple smoke. ​

Snoopy's fangs elongated, glowing a light blue, they shot out at Spiritomb, both attacks collided, sending both sides up in smoke, both trainers anxiously awaiting their results, as the smoke cleared "Toommb" Spiritomb was on its side, with swirls in its eyes "Awesome! I won! Way to go Snoopy!" her Snubbull cheered and ran into the girl's arms "Ha, what have you got to say to that you smug bastard!" Kaitlyn glanced at the trainer, who then began to laugh hysterically before he recalled his fallen Spiritomb and disappear "Weirdo" Kaitlyn sing-songed to her Pokémon, who nodded in agreement "Anyway, let's check out this damn letter" Kaitlyn lifted the letter within her eye sight, pulled off the bow and ripped open the cover, but before she could get a chance to read it, everything started to become disoriented, her world soon had become black, a strange sensation stinging at that back of her head. ​

(Short battle, but I couldn't think properly tonight, too many distractions at home >_>;; I apologize and totally understand if Snoopy doesn't get the level up) ​

Yashi: It was a good post! The description was nice! And the battle was good regardless lol! Snoppy grew to lvl 19! Snoppy wants to learn headbutt delete a move to make room?

Liliana had never been one of those swearing kids. She rarely did it. This was partly because of her little sister and partly because she thought it wasn't necessary. At this very moment, however she did. The first thing she did when she awoke was swear in the worst way she could. She had, of course, fallen into their trap. ****.

There was some talking ahead, and footsteps. She had the urge, once again, to scream her lungs out. But she didn't. Instead she kept as still as she could and pretended to still be out. She also noticed she was blindfolded and tied down. Great. Why couldn't villains just be like they used to be? Stupid and gullible..

The footsteps came dangerously close now. In fact, they were right beside her. She felt her blindfold get lifted but she kept her eyes shut. She prayed to whoever was listening that they'd leave her alone, but apparently they weren't very merciful today. She heard shouts from around her and she couldn't help but open her eyes. They room was occupied by come others. Others she recognized to be… well, the others. Well she hadn't been lying when she said she would see Sahib again…

The letter had been placed in front of her, just so she could read it. That son of a *****. How could I have been so stupid?, she thought. She could read all too well wha the letter said now. "End of the line." Well at least the other guy lied. This did not explain anything of the cryptic stuff. The only thing it explained was that they definitely did not want her alive. The message was clear. This is the last stop.

She looked up from the latter to stare into the cold eyes of the very man who murdered Falkner. She felt her hands being released from their bounds. She felt the urge to jump up and run, but her feet were still bound. Great. Not that she would have gone far anyway. A few moments later a white cloaked man also untied her feet. He looked at her for a second and she recognized a look of pity in his eyes. He pitied her.

She didn't know what she was supposed to do when she spotted her Poké Ball. She swore under her breath again and picked up her ball. She had troubles standing because of the lack of blood flow in her feet, but she stumbled forward. She had beat these sickoes before and she would beat them again. She released her Pokémon, both of them, to face whatever the bastard had decided they should face. No need for rules now, this was for her life.

The cloaked man stood before her again, still looking at her as if he didn't like doing what he had to. But he still released his Pokémon, a massive Steelix.

"Djali, use spark! Nala use razor leaf!" Nala started with the leaves, but Steelix just brushed them off. What affected him even less was the weak electric attack from Djali. He just took it with that creepy smile. He followed his trainers command and performed a rock tomb. He hit the ground so hard that the whole cave vibrated. Stones from the ceiling fell down everywhere. A few small ones landed on Nala, who took them with great pain. A big builder fell on Djali's tail, she was now trapped.

"Nala, go help Djali!"

"Steelix I would like you to use slam on the Bayleef." Nala ran toward the builder and pushed it with all her might, but it wouldn't budge. Steelix, in the mean time, raised its enormous tail and swung toward Nala. She dodged, but it hit Djali instead. She was instantly knocked out.

"Steelix please use Dragon Breath," Liliana hadn't noticed that the trainer's voice was surprisingly gentle. He was a lot different than the other ones she had encountered. Not demanding, hot headed or a complete jerk. Ironic how this was going to be the one she's lose to.

"Nala, dodge it then use razor leaf, come one you can do this!" A bright blue flame erupted from the Steelix' bizarre smiling mouth. Nala jumped away but the opponent just followed her while still spitting flames. She couldn't run forever and in the end she got badly hit. She recovered however and fired more leaves. They seemed to hurt the Steelix, but it kept its head high and proud.

Its enormous tail came toward Nala again. "Nala dodge!" Liliana shouted desperately, but Nala had been hurt too much to successfully dodge it. She got slammed against a wall and was out. Liliana called them back and anxiously looked at the man in front of her. To her surprise he also but his Steelix way and backed up. He looked at her one more time with that gentle expression before retreating.

To Liliana's rising fear the black cloaked man appeared again. She had the creeping feeling of a Déjà-vu as the scene more and more resembled Falkner's death. The Whites came forward to defeat the person while the Black finished the deal. And she did not want to be finished.

She noticed the others were also there, all lost and all thinking the same thing. It really did seem like they were in this together. All of the time. She felt so powerless against all of it. It was as if she were a puppet on strings and this guy had the strings. She hated it.

"Ohhh that was quite entertaining hahaha, have you not realized yet, this whole time I have been toying with you!!"


No, of course they hadn't realized it yet. They had only been manipulating her for how long? But no clue of course. Nope.

This time though.. is much different.. your getting stronger everyday and surely we can't have that, I thought after the Falkner death they would shut the gyms down and you would all be forced to stop... But no.. oh well just means we had to handle this matter a different way.."

The different way did not sound good at all. The man released a Skarmory. It's beak seemed dangerously sharp and so did its wings. That thing was a living knife. No more of the Pokémon version of Edward Scissorhands, the murderous version that was. The man laughed again as the bird rook off into the air. It circled above them once, as if thinking which one to kill first. It then moved toward them but it was stopped by another creature.

It took Liliana a few seconds to realize that this Pokémon was in their way to save them. The giant monkey stood in front of them, ready to blast the Skarmory where it came from and farther. A rather old man ran into the cave after him. He was old, but his body didn't look it. He seemed to be in top condition. And he was yelling at them. The whole thing had stunned her so that she hadn't even noticed him talking. But she took out of it that he told them to run since everyone else was. She hastily ran after them out of the cursed place.


"Well well, it seems I have an unepxected guest.. and a familiar one at that.. Grecko"

that was all she heard. She didn't know what would become of them, all she knew was that she was in the Ruins of Alph. She wondered why the guy called Grecko had saved them in the first place. She liked to believe it was because he had such a good heart, but she had learned the hard way that things aren't like that in the real world.

 

[Monochrome]

Cairne stood up and ran at the giant man who commanded Slaking. He clenched his fist tight let a punch go directly into the mans face. The man laughed maniacally and grabbed Cairne by his neck, he slammed him backwards into the cave wall and placed his foot on Cairnes chest.

"I'll make sure you never punch someone again kiddo." He started pulling until Cairne could feel his shoulders tendons begin to loosen and pop. He yelled out in pain as his whole are became lostened and popped out. He clutched his shoulder and yelled out in pain he couldnt even hold the explosion of pain in every nerve he had in his arm. The man Laughed and stomped on his solarplexus knocking the wind out of him, he coudlnt even cry out in pain.

"Enough!" The Black cloaked man yelled waving hsi hand forcefully over his henchmen who backed off. He looked at Cairne through the hood, "Ohhh that was quite entertaining hahaha, have you not realized yet, this whole time I have been toying with you!!" He said smartly, he began again after a small chuckle.


"This time though.. is much different.. your getting stronger everyday and surely we can't have that, I thought after the Falkner death they would shut the gyms down and you would all be forced to stop... But no.. oh well just means we had to handle this matter a different way.." He said pulling out a Pokemon ball and releasing a green Skarmory. "Bye." He said simply with another laugh and he sent his Pokemon on the attack.

All of a sudden an Infernape jumped in and stopped the Skarmory dead in its tracks, behind him walked a trainer who yelled.

"Go now!" He yelled and a Luxray and a Blastoise walked up from behind.

"Well well, it seems I have an unexpected guest.. and a familiar one at that.. Grecko" Said the cloaked man, Cairne could barely make it out as he ran out from the Ruins. once outside Cairne took a breath of fresh air and looked up at the sun, thank god for that Grecko guy. He turned and looked at all the other trainers, his eyes finally rested on one in particular.

"Kaitlyn?"

As you and the other trainers look around at the Ruins of Alph a loud explosion blasts out and you see the man Grecko backing out with his Pokemon in tow. His Blastoise shoots a stream of water that shuts off the only exit from the ruins. He whistles and four Pokemon fly down from the sky.

"My Dragonite and a few of my friends Pokemon!" He yelled. "Get on and go, NOW!" He yelled just as The black cloaked man breaks through. Each of you Pick the nearest Pokemon and get on a flying Pokemon and take of.

While flying on the Pokemon you find a note tied around their neck (Or in Togekisses case the thingy on its head) The note is from Elm who is telling you everythign will be fine, continue your Pokemon League challenge and battle the leader from the next gym, just be careful.(Feel free to mess around with that to make it a real letter I'm just rushing)

The Pokemon touches down in Route 33 and lets you off, you (Either alone or with the person you flew with) need to walk to town.

Chapter 9 Part 2
Buggin out man!

You make your way into town and after a trip to the Pokemon Center you decide it's about time you get your next badge. You approach the gym and can hear the skittering of feet across its soft grass floors. It is dark and you feel around for a light switch, you finally find one and flick on the lights. You see on the ground hundreds of Spinarak scatter into the shade of nearby trees and from the ceiling hangs at least 50 Kakuna who all turn on the thread holding them to the ceiling to face you.

"No! Turn of the light you're upsetting the Pokemon!" You notice greenhaird man with a green goatee standing at the opposite end of the gym with a net in hand. You frantically go flip your hand on the walls until you feel your fingers cling on a switch. The darkness is broken by a couple of yellow lights comming from jars all around the gym. Volbeat keep a eerie glow with their tail lights. You see the Gym leader come forward with a ball in his hand and say, "So, I'm guessing your hear for a battle?"

After the battle you visit the Pokemon Center and start hearing a loud whining noise come from the nearby cave, you feel the need to investigate, (END POST OUTSIDE SLOWPOKE WELL)

 

[Charizard_Man]

Damion grinned as he looked around at the group of pokedex holders, the boy noticed he was the youngest one there. The boy grin soon faded as a large explosion was heard, the boy was tossed into the air and landed on his back. Several yellow stone boulders falling from the ruin walls,

"GAH!!" Damion shouted as he scrambled onto his feet and quickly leaped out of the way, the stone crashed onto the floor with a loud thud. Yellow dirt and pieces of floor flew in all directions, scraping Damion's already injured body.

The boy looked back at the exit of the chamber they were in to see a large cloud of yellow dust blanketing the tunnel, from the dust came back the elderly man again.

"It's Grecko!" Damion grinned as he pointed back at the cavern, his large Blastoise launching a powerful stream of water that was aimed at the tunnel walls. The walls collapsed upon each other, creating a pile of yellow rubble. The man turned to the dex holders and placed his fingers in his mouth, releasing a high-pitched noise.

The man's whistled brought forth large Pokemon that came down from the sky. Four flying pokemon appeared in the small group of pokedex holders. The closest one to Damion was a large orange dragon, similar to the one he saw back at Pallet. A little farther off was a large white dragon pokemon with odd red and blue marking on its body, a Togekiss. There was also the familiar Fearow and a different colored ALtaria.

"This is my Dragonite, and a couple of other pokemon. Get on, hurry!!" The man shouted as he had his Blastoise guard the pile of rubble, to make sure no one came forth. Damion didn't have to be told twice as he quickly ran for the large Dragonite, who was hunched over to allow him to hop on. He jumped onto the Dragonite, holding his broken earphones in place. The Dragonite smiled as another boy quickly sat behind Damion.

Damion looked back at the other boy, "You ready?"

After a quick response, Damion grinned and lightly kicked the Dragonite on its side.

"Let's go!!" Damion ordered. Dragonite smiled and flapped its large wings as it rocketed into the sky. It was the first pokemon to leave, and made the best exit. Leaving the other dex holders to watch in amazement at the power.

When they were ver high in the sky, passing through clouds, Damion noticed the bright blue bow around Dragonite's neck.

"What's this?" The boy hurriedly untied the boy and caught the envelope before the wind pushed it back. He opened it and held it up, to allow the boy behind him to read it as well.

Dear Pokedex Holders,

Hopefully, none of you were harmed too badly. The pokemon you are riding belongs to a dear freind of mine, please trust him and do as he says. He has instructed these Pokemon to drop you off at Route 33, when you get off you should get to Azalea.

Yes, I still belive it is best for you all to continue your Johto League Challenge. So please head to Azalea and challenge the gym, which specializes in Bug Pokemon. Hopefully you'll all have fire pokemon by now.

Damion sweatdropped, he was both hurt and had no fire pokemon. Damion grinned anyways,

"So you got that?" He turned back to the boy as the Dragonite began to decline, Damion held his stomach as it jumped into his throat. The dragonite flapped its wings as it landed on grassy pasture and lowered his head, allowing the two boys to jump off.

After the dragonite flew off, Damion turned to the boy.

"My name is Damion. What's yours?" Damion smiled warmly at the boy.

After the boys had introduced themselves, they now walked down Route 33. It was a rather large field, complete with hills and a large cliff. The trees around were tall with brittle leaves, Damion looked at his PokeGear.​

"Hey. Look at this, my PokeGear picked up a couple of items in that tree over there." Damion grinned as he ran over to the tree, embedded in the bark were two small obejects. They glistened as Damion ripped them out from the bark,​

"Two Revive Seeds." Damion grinned, handing one to Kenneth, the boy he rode Dragonite with. Damion smiled as he picked up Hoot's pokeball,​

"You suffered the worst, Hoot. Here you go." Damion released the owl pokemon into his arms, and softly pressed the small diamond-shaped seed onto his stomach. The Revive seed began to flicker, as it released thin yellow vines that wrapped around the owl. The vines pulsated, as Hoot began to open his eyes.​

"Ha! Hoot, you're up again!" The boy grinned, the owl pokemon smiled and let out a hoot of joy. The happiness was disturbed when two pokemon leaped down from the tree. A tiny blue elephant stomped on Damion's face, causing him to fall on his back. A purple snake accompanied the Phanphy as they both took battle stances several yards away from the boys.​

"Urgh! Hoot!!" Damion pointed at the battle field, the owl pokemon agressively glaring at the wild pokemon. Kenneth released his own pokemon and readied for battle,​

"Hoot. Peck." Damion said cooly, as his owl pokemon leaped into battle. Hoot's beak seemed to grow as he launched at the snake, who in turn launched its own body as it opened its gaping mouth.​

"Reflect."​

Hoot quickly aborted his Peck attack as his eyes glowed a bright red, a red wall of psychic energy appeared. The Ekans's body was smashed against the wall of psychic energy, soon disappearing. Thanks to Ekans's weakness to Psychic attacks, it completely stopped it in its tracks.​

"Now, Peck. Quickly." Damion ordered, Hoot quickly plunged its beak into the snake's body. The Ekans quickly got back up and launched its body at the owl. ​

"Hypnosis." Its red eyes launching a compacted azure light at the snake, quickly dropping it to the floor.​

"Tackle." Damion commanded, launching the snake further back. Damion's eyes widened as the snake's body began to glow, the skin parted and revealed a new Ekans.​

"Ah. So that's the power of Shed Skin. No problem, one more peck should do it." Damion said as the snake came back for another Bite attack,​

"Now!" Damion ordered as the owl. Ekans fell to the floor with a thud, swirls in its eyes.​

"Ha!" Damion snapped his fingers, looking over at his friend.​

"Need help?" Hoot quickly perched on his shoulder.​

 

[{Swan}]

Mere seconds after coming out of the cave, the area shook from the impact of a powerful explosion, one that came from the cave itself. The strange guy that had come to their rescue ran out of the cave with his Pokémon. He gave his Blastiose a quick command and the Pokémon immediately obeyed and flooded the only exit. Just before Liliana could wonder what the hell he was doing, he whistled and 4 more Pokémon shot out the sky and landed in the ruins.

"My Dragonite and a few of my friends!"Grecko had to yell to get above the noise of the water and the cave that was falling in on itself. "Get on and go, NOW!" The bird that had landed closest to her was a Fearow. She didn't think twice because just as she moved toward the large bird, more rumble and a smaller explosion. The cloaked man had broken through the rubble.

She looked around and saw that the other person rushing to the Fearow was… Sahib. Of course. The fates worked in curious ways. "I told you we'd see each other again!" she yelled over the increasing sounds around her as she got onto the Fearow.

The boy raised his eyebrow. "Isn't that wonderful." He swung onto the bird in front of her.

" You almost sound as if you're not happy to see me." She said and he almost seemed to laugh. "Oh don't take it personally, I'm just not really…" he trailed off looking for a word.

She tried to fill in the blanks. "Sociable? Likable? Intelli-" Suddenly the bird flew straight into the air, away from the ruins. She had to quickly hold on to Sahib or she would have fallen off. Seeing as they were in the air, Liliana chose the first option. There was an expression for this… Right. She clung on for her dear life. And let's just say, there wasn't that much room on one Fearow.

She noticed that he stiffened the moment she touched him. She rolled her eyes. Oh boys… He seemed to look back for a second and then turned away from her. Then he seemed to notice something. She peeked over his shoulder and he was reading something. Just that moment Fearow made a sharp turn and she almost fell off on the other side. She was about to apologize to him for tightening her grip but she thought better of it. She was trying not to fall several feet down to her death. Why would she apologize?

""Hey, what's that?" she asked curiously. He looked back at her. "A note from Professor Elm." He held out the note and she snatched it from his hand.

I just wanted to let you know that it is of utmost importance for you to continue your journey. I know what you have just been though and you must have your doubts about continuing. But you must become stronger. You must continue challenging the gyms. Be on your guard and train. I will speak to you soon.
I truly hope none of this will happen to you again.

Professor Elm


There was a bit of an awkward silence. Then the Fearow started losing height rapidly. It was landing. The both of them were thrown forward as the Fearow rapidly flew toward the ground. Just when Lili thought they were going to crash it pulled up and landed quite roughly. Sahib seemed in a hurry to get off the bird and jumped off the side. "You know you're supposed to help a girl, right?" Liliana joked.

His eyebrows immediately shot up and he smiled a bit crookedly. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry., does the little miss need help?" He held up his arms with an amused look on his face. "Go on. Leap in them like they always do in movies.

Liliana smiled. "You know you're terrible at this gentlemanly stuff." She swung her leg over the bird and slid down. Her legs were a bit shaky from the ride, however, and she almost tripped over herself. "That was so not meant to happen." She laughed merrily.

"Are you generally this clumsy?" He asked in his amused tone. "Only if I've just flown on a giant bird" she replied. "How about you? Do you never laugh?" She watched him with a bit of a cheeky look in her eyes.

He pulled away immediately. "Generally not around people." Okay, she shouldn't have said that. That boy generally needed to lighten up. He looked at her and she looked straight back at him, then he turned away to look at their surroundings. Liliana pat the bird on its head, and then it flew away. She turned back to Sahib.

"There we go again. The walls go up. You act as if you have the entire world on your shoulders. You're not Atlas, so lighten up!"

Without warning he turned to her. "Why are you so happy?" He said it as if it was an accusation. As if it were wrong to be happy. But he also looked like he hadn't actually meant to say it. "I mean… Forget it."

"No, I won't forget. I'm happy, because being depressed won't help me. I'm happy because there are things to be happy about, like the fact I'm still alive. I'm happy because there is no point in retreating inside yourself. You know, one day, all those emotions you have built up in there," she shoved him where his heart was. "They are going to explode." She glared at him angrily.

He smiled at her, but it wasn't a warm smile. "People say I don't have any of those, nor a heart for that matter." He said it so matter-of-factly. Liliana started to feel even more angry. He seemed distracted for a little bit, before turning her attention back to her. "That's why I like Pokémon better. That's why I don't laugh around people. That's why I stay to myself… because people just hurt. We're so flawed we don't even realize what we have in front of you." He met her angry look. "That's why I'm so blind."

"Bullshit!" She yelled. "I don't care what people say. And I don't care that you are blind. Or you think you are blind for that matter. You are not heartless! Heartless is that.. that… Monster! The one that killed Falkner, that's heartless!" Her voice cracked and she turned away. "You know what. I'm trying to be your friend because…" She trailed off. "You know what, you forget it. I'm going to look for a new addition to my team, we need it.

It stayed silent for a while. Liliana was gazing up a tree, trying to keep her eyes dry as they should be and appearing to be looking for the little monkey Pokémon that lived around these areas. Then the silence was broken.

"why do you want to be my friend?" He said it very softly she almost couldn't understand him. He raised his voice a little bit. "Answer me that and… I'll… try." She turned around. He seemed confused for some reason, like he was having mixed emotions. Liliana smiled as she thought to herself, see he does have emotions.

"I want to be your friend because everyone needs a friend. Everyone deserves someone to be their friend." She said it gently, she was afraid he'd put up his walls again. "And yes, that includes you. Also maybe because I'm just this good Samarian or something." She laughed shakily.

He chuckled softly. "well, I don't know if I can have such a short friend." She had the urge to point at him and yell, there, that was almost a laugh! But she thought better at it. Instead she said. "Hey, that's not very nice! If you weren't so abnormally tall then there would be no problem!" It was true, she probably came to about his shoulder. Freaking giant. "Anyway, are you going to help me find an Aipom or are we going to stand here all day?"

"I'll suppose I'll help you find one. Hmm. Why don't you try the one in that tree?" He asked a bit amused as he pointed behind her. And yes. There in the tree she had pretended to observe was an Aipom. The thing seemed to have been watching for quite a while. The only thing that would have finished it would be a bag of popcorn.

"I knew he was there!" She laughed, he was definitely not buying that. "Fine then, Shinx, come out." She sprayed her with a potion so she could go on to fight. " could you please get that monkey down with a spark?" The little feline sent out a little stream of electricity that hit its mark. The Aipom did indeed fall out of its tree, and it wasn't very happy about being harassed like that.

She was about to make her next move when Sahib decided he was going to provide the commentary for this battle. "Nice job, now you've really ticked him off." He was sitting against a tree with his hands laced behind his head and looking totally comfortable. Jerk. She was about to snap something back when her Shinx cried out. Aipom used a scratch attack while she had been distracted. Double jerk.

"Djali, use bite!" Djali jumped forward to bite the monkey, but it simply jumped aside , then jumped behind Djali and hit it with a lot of noise. An astonish. Djali jumped almost a foot in the air before getting hit by the enormous tail.

Sahib snickered in amusement. "You know, you should pay attention to your opponent." She glared at him from the corner of her eye, but she didn't make the same mistake of taking her eyes off of the Aipom.
"Djali, use charge and then spark!" Djali started gathering energy, but before she could even think of using a spark she got hit by another astonish attack. Aipom had again crept up behind her and attacked. From the shock Djali released her energy in all different directions, but Aipom just dodged the beams like it was nothing. This was not going to do it, it was simply too fast.

"Djali, spark again!" Djali sent out a beam of electricity with full determination to hit the thing that had been annoying her so. But determinations doesn't hit your opponent. Too bad, because if it did, than Aipom wouldn't have been able to dodge yet another attack. Liliana gritted her teeth. Well at least she knew it was a good Pokémon when she caught it. If she could ever land a hit that was.

More commentary from Sahib whateverhislastnamewas. "Maybe you should try hitting it."He then seemed to think he should actually help out a little. "Try to slow it down."

Then Liliana got an idea. She had battled this thing before, and it had been just as annoying. Maybe it was one thing that all Aipom had in common. They were quick, mischievous and very annoying.
"Djali, try to get a hold of its tail with bite!" The first time Djali jumped toward the tail, the Aipom just stood there, swing its tail away and swung it back to hit Djali. But she didn't give up and tried to bite again. The Aipom seemed to see this as a fun game because it continued with pulling it away and swinging back. Djali dodged the tail every time it tried to hit her, but she still literally bit the dust every time. Then she seemed to get an idea. She tackled the Aipom when it really wasn't expecting it, then bit the swinging tail.

"great job, Djali! Now Use charge and then spark!" There were sparks everywhere as Djali charged herself. The Aipom was wiggling trying to get away but Djali held her ground and her jaw was tightly locked the tail. Then when she decided it was enough, she sent a powerful electric attack through the Aipom. The currents were too much for the monkey and it collapsed.

"Finally, wish me luck!" Liliana threw the ball at the Aipom, crossing her fingers.


And then there was more of Sahib whatsitmahoo. "Well, look at that, you managed to throw the ball properly. Point for you." She glared at him while praying to the angry gods of the glare that it was the best one she had ever produced. Her master-glare.
