  • Character Name: Jake Samuels
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 13
  • Starter Pokemon: Scyther

  • Personality: Jake is an extremely sarcastic person. He doesn't know when to contain himself at all, and it shows during formal occasions, where he is most formally scolded for being rude. He is also an extremely passionate and emotional person. His emotions usually get the best of him, and his actions reflect it, whether it be using his determination for a victory or his sadness to bring his downfall. During stressful positions, he is inclined to become an aggressive person towards those around him. This is one of the few emotions that he can control for himself, as he tries to keep his loves ones with close ties. He cares deeply for Pokémon, and would never let harm come their way, whether it is his own Pokémon or it is someone else's.

  • Appearance: Jake stands at roughly 5'8". He is appears to be scrawny, but he is actually rather built (He just makes it modest). He has messy, dark brown hair, which is a medium length. His eyes are a deep brown, but they occasionally change to a deep green. His teeth are rather white, and his smile is ear-to-ear. In general, Jake wears a plain blue tee shirt and khaki shorts, but when it is colder he also puts on jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt. At all times, a golden crucifix lies around Jake's neck, his last memento from his mother.

  • History: Jake started out early with a great life: Loving parents, a nice home to live in, and reliable friends. When he turned age 7, however, his mother die in a fire in her office building in Celadon City. His father gave him the golden crucifix that was hidden in her dresser. After that, Jake had grown a closer bond with his father; they spent as much time as possible, and Jake learned of sarcasm from his father. After his mother death, however, he lost control of his emotions: Something that traumatic at that age can seriously dent a kid! He has gained aggression due to the loss of his mother as well, as whenever someone puts something close to him in harm's way, he will take whatever measures necessary to protect them. When Jake turned 11, he and his dad moved from the city to a quiet life in Pallet Town, where Jake awaited becoming a Pokemon trainer. His dad constantly told him he wasn't of age yet, and his maturity level needed to increase. The moment he turned 12, however, his dad told him he was ready. He decided to allow him to travel to Johto instead, where it was a change of pace for Jake to experience living on his own, without being able to come home at any time that he wanted. He sent him to Viridian City, where he travelled through to Tohjo Falls, and a boat to New Bark Town to being his journey.
And yes, I HAD PERMISSION. XD

Haha! Yes, I will try to make this my best!!! Muwaahahaha! Sorry, I love evil laughs. Okay:

~+~+~+~+~+~

Name: Damion Sugimori

Age: 13

Gender: Male

History: Damion was born in the nice and calm Pallet Town. He was raised by his loving mother and father. Both his mother and father were brilliant scientists who spent much of their time either on Cinnabar Island or Pewter City. Damion would ocassionally join them on their trips.

But most of his time was spent with his awesome Grandfather and Grandmother. His grandpa was a Japan-wide famous Pokemon Trainer, Tai Sugimori. Now in his mid-sixties he spends much of his time with his wife, a Japan-wide famous Coordinator. They both spend their time in the large ranch they bought on the rolling hills surrounding Pallet Town, that is where Damion's childhood took place.

While Tai taught Damion how to Pokemon battle and all of the basics of a trainer, his grandma taught him everything there is to know about Pokemon Contests and the basics of being a coordinator. After playing with his grandparent's pokemon, Damion developed a love for both Fire and Dragon types. Much like Tai had, so Damion spent most of his time with a Charmander egg.

But when Damion turned 6, his mother died in an accident and his father, unable to cope with the tragedy, left the boy in an effort to "find himself again." Damion was left with his loving Grandparents, whom he looked up to.

When Tai turned 13, his grandparents were having a fun day with their grandchild as his parent's were on a top secret mission in the western region of Johto. Damion was practicing both his battling and contest skills alongside his Charmeleon companion. When one day a large, majestic pokemon came flying down towards Damion at high speeds that mirrored that of a jet. It suddenly stopped just before it hit the floor, right in front of Damion. It was large with orange scales as its small blue wings flapped in the wind.

It carried a letter with a small seal of a man's head, smiling and giving off a piece sign. Damion opened the letter as the Dragonite flew off, inside of the letter came a hologram. He held it up as a hologram of an elderly man apperaed, gray pointed hair with large round glasses. It was an invitation from Prof. Elm, telling Tai to report to New Bark Town the next day at 9:00 am sharp.

Personality: Pretty Retro style, careless nature. Damion's personality is very like his grandfather's, but has its own differences. He loves to take charge of situations and become a leader.

Damion lacks patience, and prefers constant action to new and exciting situations. He may even look for trouble for the sake of entertainment. Damion is the type to just kick back, he is very calm and mellow.

Damion is by no means easily intimidated, and doesn't have an exceptionally short temper. Of course, when someone he cares about is harmed, he does get very angry at the one who did it to them and will fight to the death to prevent it from happening again.

As you might assume from the above statement, Damion also has a strong sense of justice. However, he firmly believes that right and wrong are just concepts, and that it's what you do and what you believe in that matters in the end. He personally thinks that the lives of others take priority over his own, though he's by no means incredibly selfless. However, he will gladly risk his life so that someone else can keep theirs without so much as a second's hesitation.

Appereance: Damion's hair is a vibrant orange. It's a nicely shaded dark orange, but slightly turns lither and more of an ambern color towards the center. His hair is medium length, reaching about half-way down his neck and down to just above the tip of his nose. It is very jagged and points at its ends, his bangs are jagged and fall down and around his face. Though the top of his jagged hair is sometimes pushed down by retro earphones, but their usually around his neck. His eyes are a deep, rich shade of red. Same as his grandfather.

Damion stands at the average height for a new teen, 4'12". He weighs a healthy 108 lbs. He has a well-established body, from his nice shoulders to his well-toned leggs. He spent much of his time running around the ranch, so he has a well conditioned body.

Clothing-wise, Damion opts for a nice style. A pair of crimson retro-style earphones usually around his neck, he wore his favorite hoodie. It was a strange hoodie, as the hood popped up and covered his face all the way up to his top lip. Mysteriously covering all the way around the back of his head. His hoodie had sleeves to his elbow, it was a light black shade with a broad red stripe from the center of his hoodie, two small golden stripes on the side of the broad red stripe. He wore a pair of khaki shorts,almost white in color, reaching just after his knees and seem to close on his calve muscle. The pockets had red lining, matching his thick red and black sneakers. A small symbol on the tounge of the shoe, the word: Circa, written nicely in cursive underneath the symbol.

Starter Pokemon: Larvitar!!! xD

Name: Liliana Everdeen
Age: 15
Gender: Femme
History: Liliana was born and raised in Olivine City. She had a good and stable home. Parents loved her, she had a little sister to care for and an older brother who cared for her. She didn't have a lot of friends because she used to be very shy, but her close family made up for this. She had always lived around Pokémon. Her mother loved the creatures and she had a lot of them at home. It had always been a perfect home.

When she got older she started making more friends. One by one those friends went on a journey, but Liliana felt no need to do so. She had everything she wanted right there. Pokémon, a loving family. The beach to visit. Her life felt too perfect to give that up. But then the perfect family broke up. Her father decided to leave her mother. They had been having fights, but Liliana had been oblivious to this. Now without her father things started to change. Her sister became afraid of Pokémon causing her mother to have to set most of hers free. Her brother left out of anger for his parents to start their journey. In the end there was nothing perfect left of the family.

This was also when Liliana decided she couldn't stay there either. She had to get out of there, there was no other option. Her sister didn't want her to go, but Liliana was slowly losing her mind in there. So she decided to sign up to have her first real Pokémon and get out of the house. She took a train to New Bark and hoped everything would turn out for the best.

Personality: Liliana was brought up with the thought that everyone deserves a little bit of kindness. She tries to be nice to strangers, but also her personality demands that she also quickly judges people. She has a set view of good and evil, and there is no in between. When someone does something she views as wrong, like, say, stealing Pokemon and trying to take over the world, she doesn't hesitate to put them in the evil category.
In a way Liliana can be a little bit tomboyish. She is a very curious person too, when she sees something new she has to know everything about it. She likes finding new things and exploring them, and dreams of adventure. When she finds something to climb, or a forest to explore, good luck talking her out of it. A little heads up, stop trying, she's not someone easily talked out of something she's set her mind to. She's often called a little monkey because she likes climbing things, trees, hills, dunes, anything. Also, she likes bananas.

Liliana is a little bit reckless. She's jump into any situation without thinking beforehand, landing her into quite some stupid situations that could have easily been avoided. This is one thing she never learns to control, she's gets burned and burned and burned again, but just smiles it off afterward. Her moth is quite big, not literally though, and it is also a major factor that lands her in trouble. She has a habit of saying what's on her mind without much sensor.
When it comes to the opposite sex she often is very oblivious and naive. When someone is coming on to her she doesn't even take not of it. She still sees guys mostly as friends apart from the one she falls for, who she's very shy with. Needless to say she hadn't been having much luck with the boys.
But beside all this Liliana is a very cheerful person. She loves to laugh and enjoy herself and she has a strong sense of friendship. She's loyal to her friends and family and expects them to be loyal too. She's naive in a way that she likes to see the best of people, until moving them in category that is. And she has a nasty habit of taking things for granting and only noticing how amazing it was when it was gone.

Appearance: The first thing you'd notice about Liliana is that her overall appearance is very warm and brown. Her skin is an olive tone that is just a tad too dark to be a tan. Her hair is a dark and warm brown, it's quite long and completely straight, with long layers cut. most of the time her hair is in a long braid, with a few shoulder-length strands framing her face. Her bangs are a little too long so she brushes them to the side, making them look quite messy. Her eyes are also a very warm brown.
She is very short and overall looks a few years younger than she is, but she doesn't mind. Her build is very skinny to a point it's almost unnatural, but her small height helps a little. Her head is quite small and so are her hands and feet, and she barely has a chest.

She likes to dress summery, but also likes earthly colours such as green and brown. She's often seen in dark brown short shorts and an orange tanktop with black boots, for this is her default outfit. To carry her stuff she has lighter brown bags that she clips on her pants on either side. They're pretty small and only carry some spare PokeBalls and a potion or two.
Basically Liliana likes her clothing to be pretty simple. She doesn't wear any jewelry apart from a chord with a blue stone attached, one she found whens he was little.

Chapter 1
Journeys Anew
It is your first day as a pokemon trainer, and you just arrive at New Bark in time to receive your first pokemon from Prof. Elm. You do not notice right away that something is bothering the now much older professor, but as you line up with the other new trainers, you can hear the slight scare in his words.

"Today is an important day for you five young trainers, it is the day you get to set out on your journey and discover if you have what it takes to make it."

Elm pauses for a second and rubs hes forehead as if he was contemplating something.

"But also... i'm sure most of you have heard about the recent problems arising within Johto.. Along your journey I will be reporting to each of you, giving you different missions, when I hear of events.. This may be dangerous as you gain experience and fame, the better you become the bigger a target you will become. First things first when you reach the Ilex forest.... wait for me to call you, don't just go in.. you may never get out" Elm stands there and takes a deep breath.

"Now who wants there pokemon?" He says as a smile goes across his face.

Elm goes down the line handing out to each of you your starter pokemon, a pokedex, and 5 pokeballs. Then at the end of the line he stops and opens his mouth to each of you but just as he does, theres a quick flash in front of your eyes and Prof.Elm seems to be stopped altogether in a motionless pause. Behind him eight strangers step out all wearing white cloaks. They then all at once release the same pokemon, without saying a word the pokemon attack at you.. It is time for you first pokemon battle and it may be the most important one of your lie.. Win and rescue Elm.. Lose and who knows. (your supposed to win lol)

Sahib rolled over and looked at his clock on the table next to his bed. It was time for him to go. Finally, he thought as he pushed the covers off and went about getting ready for the day. He showered, pulled on his clothes, grabbed his already packed backpack, and then jogged to the kitchen. His parents were sitting there drinking coffee. An Eevee was sitting on the floor eating its food. His parents both looked up as he entered the room. He offered them a tiny hint of a smile on his features.

"Do you have everything?" his mother asked softly. Sahib nodded confidently.

"Don't get into too much trouble," his father said in his quiet yet serious way. He met his son's eyes. "Keep in touch."

"I will. I promise I'll call you if anything comes up," Sahib stated. His phone suddenly felt like a large lump in his pocket. "I should probably go…" he trailed off, looking at the door. His parents bade him goodbye and wished him well. Sahib nodded and ran out the door, glad that he didn't have a very long way to go to Professor Elm's lab.

While he walked, Sahib mused. He wondered what the journey would be like, now that it was considered dangerous to be out and about. There was a small pang in his gut, but he pushed that away. I'm on my own now, I have to focus on my training, Sahib thought. He did have to admit that he would miss his parents, but Sahib had to say that he was also glad to finally be on his own and able to take care of himself. I hope I'm not the oldest one there, he thought dryly. I wish my parents would've let me go sooner. Oh well, maybe I'll have more experience? Bah, whatever, he shook his head.

Soon enough, he was standing just outside Professor Elm's lab. Several others were walking up the steps now as well. They went inside after being allowed in. They all lined up, but as they did they heard Professor Elm say something that made his voice sound rather strained. Finally he turned to them.

"Now who wants a Pokémon?" Elm asked as a smile spread across his face. They all watched as he went down the line and handed each of them a Pokeball. Sahib looked at the Pokeball and felt a thrill of excitement go through him. The edge of his lips upturned in a small smile. As Elm opened his mouth to say something, Sahib noticed something flash out of the corner of his eyes. Elm seemed to be frozen, and then eight trainers in white cloaks stepped out of the shadows. They didn't say anything, and then suddenly there were eight Pokémon facing each and every one of the new trainers.

A battle…Sahib thought. Seconds later, each of the new trainers were letting their own Pokémon out as well. There was a white flash, and then a Cyndaquil materialized out of the Pokeball he had thrown. Sahib looked at the little guy and watched as the pink blob Sahib recognized as a Ditto transformed into Cyndaquil. "Now what do you know…" Sahib murmured, assessing the situation as quickly as possible.

"Cynda," Cyndaquil stated, looking at the copy in annoyance.

"Alright Cyndaquil, go for a tackle attack," Sahib called. He wasn't paying attention to the others by now. He was just focusing on his battle as best as he could. Cyndaquil quickly moved in and slammed into the fake copy. That Cyndaquil skidded back, but then suddenly shot a smokescreen out. Sahib clenched his teeth. "Cyndaquil, find it," Sahib stated, remembering that Cyndaquil had poor eyesight but excellent hearing. Seconds later, there was a cry as the opposing Cyndaquil came flying out of the smoke.

"Cyndaquil!" Cyndaquil called as the smoke slowly faded away.

"Now use leer!" Sahib called.

Cyndaquil leered at the Ditto as it slowly got up. It flinched but then under another order, it ran towards Cyndaquil in a quick tackle. Sahib ordered the same, and the two smashed against each other. The Ditto fell back, and didn't get up. Sahib smirked, thinking it was done. Suddenly the Ditto sprang up and slammed into Sahib's Cyndaquil. It cried out as it skidded backwards.

"Cyndaquil, let's finish this off with smokescreen!" Sahib called. Cyndaquil looked slightly confused as it slowly got up, but soon the small area was covered in smoke once more. "Now get it with a final tackle!" Sahib said. Cyndaquil charged into the smoke, and then there was a loud cry and a bang. When the smoke cleared, the Ditto had materialized back into a Ditto and Cyndaquil was panting lightly, looking rather beaten up. Not bad for a first battle, Sahib thought, very proud of his Cyndaquil. The man recalled his Ditto. It appeared the other trainers had won as well, so at once all of the Ditto were gone as well as the men. But what the hell just happened? He wondered silently.

EDIT:OOC:I just read the above post, sorry
When Lark heard that he was going to become a trainer he was overjoyed! He was so excited in fact, that he spent the night in front of the docks. He barely got any sleep though because he had stayed up all night waiting for the boat. By the time the boat finally came Lark was still in a deep sleep. Unfortunately Lark is a heavy sleeper so he didn't even hear the boat when it came. When he finally was woken up by the boat's horn ,it was almost ready to leave! He bolted off running almost leaving behind his hat in the process.

Luckily for Lark he was a fast running so he made it on the ship in time. He stood on the deck of the ship gasping for breath. He slowly made his way to his room, which with his sudden awakening was incredibly difficult for him. Embarrassingly for Lark however, he collapsed before he got to his room. Even more embarrassing was the fact that he was five seconds away from the door.

"Today's the day" Lark thought to himself as the ship was about to jock in Johto. "Today's the day I finally become a trainer" "Today's the day I show everyone that I'm no weakling." Standing on the dock in Johto, Lark soaking in the sunshine, took a deep breath, and proceeded to Prof.Elm's lab.

"Hello everyone" Elm said once everyone was present "I have something very important to tell" "It is not easy to say, but blah blah blah blah." This all Lark heard while standing in Elm's lab. His body was there, but his mind was off thinking about the cool pokemon adventures he was about to have. "Any questions?" Elm concluded, this snapped Lark back to reality. Lark was too embarrassed to say that he had been daydreaming during Elm's speech so he kept quiet. "Now who wants their pokemon?" Elm said, everyone else looked a little worried when they recieved their pokemon. "What did I miss!?!" Lark thought, then he recieved his pokemon now also with a worried look on his face.

Suddenly with a quick flash of light, Elm suddenly stood motionless. Eight trainers wearing white cloaks stepped out from behind him, at this point Lark really wished he had been paying attention. They all had a evil,cold look our their faces. One of them challenged Lark to a battle, and even though all of what was going on scared Lark to no end, he hadn't lost his excitement to battle.

"Go Totodile!" Lark shouted throwing his pokeball. "Go Ditto!" shouted the trainer with the white cloak. Both pokeball hit the ground at the same time releasing the pokemon. Lark found that his Totodile was just as hyper as he was, which comforted him a little. "Ditto use transform!" the trainer shouted without warning. Suddenly Lark's Totodile was face to face with an identical Totodile.

"Totodile use water gun" Lark said, to his disapointment he saw his Totodile did not know water gun yet. "Uh...um...use...scratch?" Lark said after trying to think of low level moves. Luckily Totodile actually knew that, but the trainer's dittodile dodged it. "Use Leer" the trainer said with a calm tone in his voice. "Big deal" Lark said sarcastically "All that does is lower his defense." Lark had never been a big user of "stratagy", unless you count using rapid fire reckless attack moves a stratagy. "Use scratch" the trainer said. The move connected perfectly and Lark's Totodile took major damage. "Totodile!" Lark shouted, the look on his face turned from scared to extreme anger.

"Now use scratch again" the trainer said his voice still very calm. His calmness in his voice infuriated Lark. "Totodile dodge it!" Lark shouted, "Now use Leer" Totodile obeyed lower the enemy's defense."Scratch again" the trainer said, once again Lark had Totodile dodge it. "Use Leer!" Lark shouted, for the first time in his life he was using a stratagy! "USE SCRATCH!" The trainer shouted the calmness in his voice completely gone, the scratch was once again dodged. This pattern went on for a while until finally Lark shouted after the other trainer's scratch missed "Now use scratch!" Lark shouted, Totodile lunged fowarded raised his arm and sucessfully scratched the dittodile! All those leer's payed off, that one scatch was so powerfull that it made the opponents ditto faint!

"That's the battle" Lark said with satisfaction in his voice. "ERRRRRGH!" The trainer shouted with incredible, indescridible anger. "This isn't the last you've seen of us" With another quick flash of light the trainer was gone. "Awesome job Totodile, you deserve a good rest, RETURN!" and with that Totodile was sucked back inside his pokeball. Lark just stood their looking at the spot where the trainer was, wondering what just happened.

Sorry! Just read your post! -_-;

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chapter One: Journeys Anew
It is a beautiful, bright morning in the Mt. Silver mountain range. Up in the cyan blue skies, flies a majestic Charizard with a healed scar accross its eye. Yes, this is the region of Johto; a region full of plains and lakes. All seemed calm and perfect outside. The rather old Charizard carried an elderly man with a crimson pokemon hat, behind the elderly man was a young boy with radiant orange hair.
"Well Damion, you're finally going to start off on your own journey. I wished it would be in the Kanto region, but unfortunately Prof. Oak passed away. So now I've talked with Prof. Elm, and he is estatic to have you start off." The elderly blonde man said. Damion grinned as he took his retro earphones off of his ears and placed them around his neck,
"Thanks grandpa, I can't wait. So where exactly are we going?" Damion looked down and saw a large mountain range.
"There." His grandfather said with a voice full of excitement. He pointed at a nicely nestled town next to a long river, "Newbark Town. Where the winds of new beginning blow." Grandpa Tai grinned as the words left his lips, bringing back old memories.
The Charizard lowered in altitude until finally he reached the town, he fiercly flapped his wings to allow a soft landing. Charizard lowered his head to allow the two to get off,
"Thanks Charco." Damion hugged the Charizard around his neck, "I'm gonna miss you buddy." Damion said. Damion and his grandfather shared a hug before they flew off, leaving Damion looking up at the flying duo. Damion grinned as he gripped the single strap of his traveling bag.
'I can't wait! I want my Larvitar that Grandpa Tai told me about.' A kittens mile spread across Damion's face as the thoughts of the baby Larvitar entered his mind. He looked down at a postcard with an image of Prof. Elm's lab. Damion looked up to see the exact same laboratory, large windows and all.
He entered the large building with calm eyes and his earphones on, "So where is this professor?" He asked himself, but his question answered himself when Damion spotted a large group of kids in a fomred lined. Leading up to an elderly man with gray hair and a semi-wrinkled face.
The young boy walked over to the line and lined up, the professor smiled as all of the trainers gathered.
"Today is an important day for you eight young trainers, it is the day you get to set out on your journey and discover if you have what it takes to make it." The professor paused only to rub his head, bothered by something,
"But also... i'm sure most of you have heard about the recent problems arising within Johto.. Along your journey I will be reporting to each of you, giving you different missions, when I hear of events.. This may be dangerous as you gain experience and fame, the better you become the bigger a target you will become. First things first when you reach the Ilex forest.... wait for me to call you, don't just go in.. you may never get out" Elm stands there and takes a deep breath, Damion was taken aback.
'What does he mean...never get out?' He said mentally.
"Now who wants there pokemon?" He says as a smile goes across his face, Damion's eyes narrowed.
'Somethings wrong...' He thought, but this thought seemed to disappear as he was handed a tray by Elm's assistant. The tray held a red device, similar to a miniature computer. On the tray were five miniature capsule balls, he took the balls and clipped them on his belt then latched the pokedex on his right hip.
Damion grinned as he looked into the pokeball, seeing the baby Larvitar sleep. He looked up to see Prof. Elm sharing his smile then opened his mouth to speak. But just as he did a large flash of bright white light appeared, the light engulfed the entire lab. Damion shielded his eyes with his arm, when he brought back his arm down he saw a man in pure white clothing staring down Damion.
"W-Who are you?!" Damion exclaimed at the man. Who wore a large white cloak, concealing his entire body and his face was concealed in a shadow casted by the large hood. The man simply stared at Damion and reached into his cloak to bring out a pokeball. He pointed it at Damion and pressed the sensor in the center, releasing a pile of pink goop.
"Ditto?!" Damion screamed out as the goop took form of a small ditto,
"Alright then, Battle time!" Damion soffed as he launched his own pokeball at the lab floor to release his Larvitar.
~~~~~~~~~~

"Let's do this! Start things off with a Leer attack!" Damion flipped open his pokedex to aid him in his battle. The Larvitar's eyes turned a pale gold color as it stared down the Ditto. The Ditto pokemon felt uneasy as it reverted to a pudding substance.

"Now, Sandstorm attack to damage it!" Damion yelled out, creating large vortex of sand. Covering the entire laboratory, he looked around to see the other new trainers battling as well,

"Hopefully this won't interfere." Damion gritted his teeth as the looked around. The man chuckled,

"Child's play. Ditto, transform." The hooden figure said plainly, sending a shiver down Damion's spine. The pink pokemon took form of the Larvitar, both pokemon and trainer were shocked.

"Oh man, now it won't get damaged!!" Damion snapped his fingers,

"Now. Bite attack!!" Damion pointed at the Ditto pokemon, Larvitar dashed towards the fake and bit into its skin. The copy Larvitar screamed in pain as a gash formed on its shoulder,

"Hmph!" The man grunted, "Bite attack as well." The copy Larvitar bit down on Larvitar's shoulder, both pokemon now locked in bite attacks.

"Crap." The boy swore under his breath, when his eyes widened. "My Larvitar's bite is doing more damage thanks to Leer!" Damion grinned,

"Larvitar, use Leer again!" The pokemon glared at the copy Larvitar, melting it once more into pudding.

"Bite!" Larvitar bit down onto the jello-like pokemon and launched it to the wall. Splattering it, swirls in its eyes.

"Well then..." The man grunted as he thrusted the pokeball at the Ditto to return it. The man dissapeared in the same fashion as he appeared. Leaving Damion standing there with his new Larvitar, in victory.

He put on his earphones to listen to his music, the Larvitar climbing onto his shoulder.

"Good job...Taro." Damion chuckled at the nickname,

'What just happened?' He thought to himself.

Name: Jakki Kenshaw

Age: 13

Gender: Female

History: Jakki's father was a small-time Pokemon researcher, with a big goal. He was researching the legendary birds, and wanted to find them, so he could observe them up close. Although some called him daft for trying to find the legendary Pokemon many believed to be myth, Jakki loved her father, and often helped him with his research.

One day, after getting a lead on their possible location, Jakki and her father set sail on the ocean, towards islands that were uninhabited by people. On the way there, however, they got caught in a viscous storm. They both end up getting thrown overboard, and drift to a nearby island.

The island was inhabited, so the managed to return to their home safely, but Jakki's father was never the same after that. He felt horrible that he had put his daughter is such terrible danger, and felt fully responsible. No matter how hard she and her mother tried to cheer him up, he still no longer had the passion for science anymore.

Jakki, who felt terrible about the state her father was in, decided to become a Pokemon trainer, and one day find the legendary birds by herself. She hoped that, in doing so, her father's passion would reignite, and he would know that she can handle herself.

Personality: Jakki is a very determined girl, who always tries to achieve her goals. She is very knowledgeable about Pokemon, and can be very strategic. Unfortunately, she doesn't have too many street smarts, and tends to be gullible and naive when it comes to things other than Pokemon. She usually get along with others well, but can sometimes have trouble in social situations, since she is used to spending most of her time with her father.

Appereance: Jakki has long black hair, normally tied back in a low ponytail. She has brown eyes, and slightly tan skin. She would be considered average for her age, and has very poor upperbody strength.

Her normal outfit consists of an orange tank top, denim capris, and a white lab coat with the sleeves rolled up. She also wears a necklace with a yellow stone, given to her by her father.

Starter Pokemon: Gligar

(I'm tired, so I'll post my RP tomorrow.)
