Well were in the Well

After awaking from what seemed like a horrible dream, Scythe began to dash for the Slowpoke Well along with the other trainers. One by one the trainers climb down into the well to investigate the strange noise and what just happened.

"Dang it's pretty dark down here.." Scythe thinks to himself as he steps off the ladder. Some of the other trainers begin heading down a path, and Scythe decides to take a differen't route. "Who knows maybe this way will be faster!" he whisperes to himself as he starts off down the path.

While walking parts from the memory he had earlier start to creep back into his mind. "why did I tell my dad I wasn't there? It doesn't make sense at all...but it could explain why I didn't remember him saying all of that to me. Or maybe it also has something to do with these headaches and blackouts?" he begins to ponder as he continues to walk down the creep slowpoke well.

"Crick!" Scythe's foot slams into something and the boy falls down to the ground. "Grrr that's the second time in the past 10 minutes that i've tripped over something!" Scythe angrily yells as thinks about the weird blue rock he found before entering the well.

Scythe than turns around to see what he tripped over and sees two eyes staring back at him. "Woah!" he hollers as he moves backward away from the eyes. "Wait...it's just a pokemon?" he questions as he pulls out his pokedex.

"Shellder the shell pokemon. This pokemon uses it's shell as a shield which usually annoys most trainers." the pokedex reads out as Scythe stares as the Shellder. "Hmm I could use a good defensive pokemon on my team." he thinks to himself as he unclips a pokeball from his coat.

"Chukapis come on out buddy!" Scythe commands as he tosses a pokeball in the air. "PIKA!" Chukapis shouts with happiness as it emerges from the ball. "Shell?" the Shellder just looks at Chukapis and Scythe.

"Ok Chukapis let's take it down!" Scythe states to his partner. "Pika Pi!" Chukapis confidently boast. "Use Thundershock!" Scythe orders. "PIKACHU!" Chukapis roars as it sends electricity flowing from it's body towards the Shellder.

"Shell" Shellder calmly speaks as it closes it's shell and the attack just reflects off. "UH! Ok Chukapis looks like we gotta open up that shell!" Scythe than tells Chukapis.

"PI!" Chukapis agrees as it starts charging in with a quick attack. Shellder lifts opens its shell and sees Chukapis charging for it. "Shell!" Shellder yells as it shoots icicles as Chukapis.

"Chukapis dodge it!" Scythe yells out. "Pi Pi Pi PIKAAAA!!!" Chukapis cries out as an icicle slams into it throwing it off it's tracks. "Chukapis are you ok?" Scythe asks.

"PIKA!" Chukapis screams as it stands up with ease. "Awesome! Ok hit it ontop of the Shell with a slam attack followed by a thundershock!" Scythe commands.

Chukapis once again begins to charge for the Shellder, this time Shellder just retreats into it's shell due to Chukapis being to close to get an attack off. "PIKA!" Chukapis hollers as it slams down ontop of Shellder's shell, and as the Shell begins to come open Chukapis thundershocks it.

"Shell....de..rr!" Shellder weakly grins as it's shell closes and it faints.

"Haha good job Chukapis!" Scythe happily says to the victorious electric mouse. "Do you wanna stay out of your ball and explore the cave with me?" Scythe asks Chukapis as he tosses a pokeball out at the fainted Shellder. "PI!" Chukapis estaticly shouts in enjoyment.

Scythe and Chukpais than watch as the ball rocks back and fourth. "Hurry up pokeball i gotta go see what's making this crying noise!" Scythe than thinks to himself as he glances down the path.

When Sahib walked into the cave, he noticed that the noise got slightly louder. He groaned, clutching his ears. He heard the sad cries of the Pokémon in the cave. I feel sorry for them, Sahib thought silently. He set down his pack and then grabbed his sweatshirt out of it. The cave was rather cool and damp, so for some reason he felt he should wear his sweatshirt. Before he took it out, Sahib carefully moved the Old Amber aside. Then he slipped the white article of clothing over his head and grunted when his head felt compressed. Then it was on, and he felt a bit warmer. Sahib brought the hood up, hoping to deafen the sound even if only slightly. It didn't really work. He sighed heavily, picked his pack back up, and continued walking.

Suddenly two Pokémon were blocking his way. Sahib stared at the flapping Zubat. They looked like they were so restless. He frowned, his eyebrows pulling together. The Zubat leered at him, almost as if they wanted to blame him for doing this to them. Sahib stared at them silently, and then grabbed Furret and Quilava's Pokeballs. In all truth, he really didn't want to fight the already distraught Pokémon. He honestly didn't think it would be good for either him or the Pokémon themselves.

"Let's go!" Sahib called, tossing their Pokeballs. Quilava and Furret appeared, standing at the ready. "Alright," Sahib began, "they're pretty…distraught. Let's try to make this battle over as quickly as possible." His Pokémon nodded in affirmative. "Start off with flame wheel, Quilava! Furret, you use quick attack on the other Zubat!" Sahib called, pointing to them.

The Zubat watched wearily and Quilava lit up with fire. It charged at one of them, knocking it to the ground before it could bother to move away. The other, slightly larger, Zubat got knocked down by Furret's attack. Sahib's eyebrows furrowed once more as he noticed these Pokémon seemed to be loosing their will as well as their strength. He opened his mouth to give another order, intent on finishing the battle. Suddenly one of the Zubat unleashed a high-pitched screeching sound towards Furret. It became confused, looking around and trotting about. Sahib blanched, didn't I say I hated confusion?

"Quilava, use flame wheel on the same Zubat! Furret, snap out of it!" Sahib called to his Pokémon. Quilava instantly leapt towards the Zubat with fire burning around it once more. It slammed against the Zubat, causing it to hit the cave floor. Sahib groaned as he saw Furret whack himself in the face with one of its paws. Right then, Sahib thought. "Quilava, use smokescreen on those Zubat, I don't want you to be confused." Quilava nodded sharply and then let out a puff of black smoke. Sahib could hear the flutter of wings, but nothing else. "Furret, use quick attack on the Zubat!" Sahib called into the smoke.

There was a thump, and then a screech. Sahib waited as the smoke cleared. One of the Zubat was down, completely knocked out. The other Zubat glanced down at its partner and looked back angrily (or so it seemed, because its wings were flapping rather madly) towards Sahib's Pokémon.

"Let's finish it off. Use flame wheel, Quilava!" Sahib ordered.

Quilava was abruptly surrounded by another veil of fire. Just as he was about to attack, the Zubat zoomed down and latched onto Quilava in a bite attack. Quilava cried out as his flames receded and the Zubat bit him. Furret charged to the rescue, scratching at the Zubat with a fury swipes. The Zubat cried out and flew backwards, away from Quilava and Furret. Then it suddenly flew towards Furret and latched on. Sahib's eyes went wide as it slowly drained Furret's energy. It looks like a friggin' vampire! Sahib thought.

"Lava!" Quilava cried angrily to the Zubat.

"Quilava, try to get that thing off of Furret! Use quick attack!" Sahib said, knowing that he couldn't use flame wheel. If he did, there was a slight risk Furret would get hurt by the flames.

Quilava slammed into the Zubat, wrenching it from Furret's side. Sahib winced slightly as he saw the angry mark where Zubat had bit Furret. Furret tottered about, and then scooted over next to Sahib. Sahib looked down on his Pokémon and rolled his eyes, but recalled it. He looked at Quilava and saw that his Pokémon was carefully dodging the Zubat's attacks.

[FONT=&quot]"Quilava, finish it with ember!" Sahib called, pointing at the Zubat. Quilava unleashed a bout of flames from its mouth. They slammed into the Zubat and knocked it down, smacking it into the side of the wall. Sahib glanced at the Zubat and then recalled Quilava. He jogged down the tunnel, hoping to reach the end soon. Sorry Zubat, he thought fleetingly.

(OOC: Ugh, WHY is this one short? XD )

Damion snapped out of his momentary vision and looked around, it seemed as if a few trainers were still in their memories. Damion looked around and noticed two Dex holders were gone, and that's when Damion heard the whining noise again. A horrible whine that rang in Damion's head, the boy clutched his fists and ran towards the well.

He barged down the sloping ramp that winded around the well, until finally he reached the indented section of the ground where the well was located. Damion looked into the short, circular brick well. It was a long tunnel of darkness, the boy looked around. He was trying to find a way to get into the well without breaking his legs with the impact that would arise if he were to jump in.

"ONWARD INTO BATTLES!!!" Damion heard a loud, eccentric voice and automatically sweatdropped. Damion looked up to see a majestic Pidgeot. The bird pokemon descended and was recalled into his pokemon, a rugged man stood before Damion.

His grandfather.

"Grandpa?! What are you doing here?" The elderly man chuckled, he adjusted his cap and smiled.

"Well I got a call from an old friend of mine who lives in Goldenrod, I was just on my way when I saw a group of youngsters down here. To my surprise, I saw you!" The man chuckled and Damion nodded his head,

"Well grandpa, this is no laughing matter. Something's going on in Johto, and someone wants us all gone..." Damion's voice trailed off as he looked into the well. His grandfather gasped,

"Well I can see that by your appearance, my guess is you were in a couple of battles for you life already. Looks like you've got to continue fighting." Damion was shocked and looked up at his grandfather who had released a large yellow grass pokemon,

"Velsi, Vine Whip." The large Victreebel released a thick vine that extended down into the depths of the well,

"Grandpa...you think I should fight?"

"Of course, that's what heroes do." With those words, Damion quickly flung his body into the hole in the well and slid down while holding onto the vine. Damion looked up to see his grandfather trailing behind him. Damion landed on the floor and smirked,

"Good thing grandpa gave me those trainer gloves." He quickly took off the gloves and put them back in his bag. He look around the well, astonished at the cave's dimensions.

"It's so large." The boy said as he began walking down the narrow passageway. The entire cavern was filled with cold, crispy air that entangled Damion's body with no mercy. The boy shivered a bit, he could see his own breath. The walls were the same, dank brown that the floor was. Large, greenish stalagmites towering up from the ground.

Damion looked down to see a narrow pathway, that was the only road he could travel, directly to his right was the cave wall, and to his left was a large hill that completely covered whatever was behind it. Damion jumped slightly when a large sound echoed through the cave, he looked back to see his grandfather land on the floor. The old man chuckled as he held out his arms,

"What are you doing?" Damion questioned the man, still holding out his arms. After a short few moments, the large Victreebel landed in the man's arms. Damion sweatdropped and turned around,

"Come on grandpa." Damion motioned for the man to follow him, the sounds of moaning pokemon continued to echo through the cave. Damion growled, his grandfather clenched his fists.

"What's going on here?" His grandfather said as they continued to walk, the two were quickly halted by two small figures that darted out from the large hill to their left. A small purple clam glared at the two, its large pink tongue just laying there. Beside it was a blue pokemon with pink cheeks and long, slender legs.

"It's a Shellder and Surskit, show me what you got Damion." His grandfather chuckled, Damion smirked and clutched one of his pokemon.

"Sprink." The boy said cooly, his grandfather's eyes widened as the Mareep popped out. It's large cloud-like fur glowing.

"So you named one of your pokemon, after one of my pokemon." His grandfather chuckled, Damion ignored the man as he analyzed the situation. He flipped open his pokedex and readied for battle,

"Sprink. Growl." The yellow-furred Mareep let out a high-pitched ringing noise that echoed through the cave, cracking the stalagmites. The two water pokemon shook, obviously in pain from the high-pitched yell.

"Now. Thundershock." Damion ordered, and with a flick of the trainer's hand the Mareep releasing a stream of electricity that struck the small purple clam. The Shellder was launched backwards, causing the Surskit to leap into battle. The small bug pokemon's body rocketed towards the Mareep,

"Tackle." The Mareep collided with the Surskit's Quick attack, the speed from the Quick Attack seemed to overpower the Tackle attack as both pokemon flew towards Damion.

"Thunderwave, Sprink." The Mareep released a strip of electricity that tightly coiled around the pokemon, paralyzing it. From behind Sprink, the Shellder tackled Mareep into the ground.

"Tackle attack." Damion pointed at the Shellder, who in turn shot multiple spears of ice towards the electric pokemon.

"Quick, Thundershock!" The boy yelled, the electric bolt shattered the icicle spears and launched the Shellder into the wall.

The Surskit quickly released a smooth, pink stream of wind towards Sprink. The wind quickly entangled the electric pokemon and lowered its evasiveness,

"Sprink, hurry Tackle." The Mareep shook her head, forgetting the nice smell and quickly launched her body at the bug pokemon. The Surskit slid back a few yards and quickly released a stream of bubbles that continued to knock back Sprink, the bubbles seemed to pin her against the rocky hill.

"Sprink, use Thundershock." Damion ordered, but the Mareep. But the pokemon was halted by a barrage of frozen spears. Damion clutched his fists as his grandfather placed his hand on his grandson's shoulder,

"Look Damion, look carefully." Damion examined the battle and noticed that Mareep's fur was completely glowing white. The glow of light quickly spread throughout her entire body, the pokemon swiftly changed shape and size.

A pink pokemon with white fur emerged, knocking back the bubbles and icicle spear. Damion grinned,

"Ha. Flaaffy, it evolved! So that's why her fur was so big recently." Damion smirked, his face quickly retorted to anger.

"Sprink, THundershock!" Damion ordered, the newly evolved Sprink smirked and released a larger stream of electricity than usual. THe attack quickly struck the Surskit, launching it back into the wall with a large thud. The bug pokemon was knocked out, leaving the Shellder.

"Tackle." Damion ordered, the Flaafy quickly launched her body at the remaining Shellder. But the pokemon was halted in her tracks by a pink dome of energy,

"Hmm. Protect, okay. Now, Thundershock." Sprink quickly grabbed the shellder by its small horn and released a current of electricity that completely fried the water pokemon.

Damion smirked as the Flaffy came strutting back to his feet, Damion looked at his grandfather. The man merely grinned, but his face turned into shock when a large, dark cloud hovered over the two.

"It's a horde of Zubat!" Damion yelled out, his grandfather nodded.

"The battle must've disturbed them, you go on. I'll stay and fend these things off!" His grandfather yelled, swiftly launching two pokeballs at the ground.

"Sprink! Munchy!!" The man yelled out, as the two pokeballs quickly released a small cloud of smoke. Two pokemon quickly emerged, one released a powerful bolt of lightning while one launched a huge boulder. A menacing Pikachu and Snorlax stood strong as the Zubats began to attack, Damion smirked as he quickly took off. Sprink following her trainer as they ran deeper into the cave.

The trail stopped where a large ledge was, the ledge looked over a large pool of glowing water that was serene and calm. Damion's eyes widened as the ground shook and a deep wail was heard, the boy growled as the wail become louder.

"What is that?!" The boy yelled.

Charizard_man: Awesome post! Ha way to add his granfather in there it added to the story nice! Sprink grew to lvl 19!

Well were in Well Part 2 Well what a day!

"Ting ting ting TING!" the pokeball sounded as it finally stopped rocking. "Alright Chukapis we did it! We caught Shellder!" Scythe said with satisfaction. "Pika!" Chukapis said with happiness.

"Boom" loud noises from far in the back of the cave sounded. "Pi?" Chukapis looked up at it's trainer as if it was asking if they should continue. "Ya Chukapis let's keep going!" the boy said as he began to dart off down the path with Chukapis jumping onto his shoulder.

"Woah what the heck is that!" Scythe yells as he pulls out his pokedex to check out what kind of pokemon was down the path. "Slowbro the slow pokemon! This pokemon is the evolved fusion form of Shellder and Slowpoke." the pokedex reads as Scythe tucks it gently back in his pocket.

"A Slowbro huh? it doesn't look like any Slowbro i've ever seen." Scythe says to Chukapis as he watches the big dumb pokemon smack it's tail off the wall. "Well either way we gotta stop it Chukapis!" Scythe states to the pokemon resting on his shoulder.

"Pi!" Chukapis starts as it jumps off Scythe's shoulder and heads for Slowbro. "SLOW!" the angry odd colored Slowbro rants as it looks at Chukapis.

"Pika pi pika!" Chukapis converses with the Slowbro. "SLOWWWW!" the Slowbro roars with rage as it swings it's tail at Chukapis. "PIKA!" Chukapis screams as it swiftly dodges the tail.

"Ok Chukapis if it's not gonna listen to you we gotta knock it out!" Scythe says. Chukapis agrees as it dodges yet another swing of the Slowbro's tail. "SLOWWWBROOO!" the enraged monster shouts out as it lunges it's head towards Chukapis.

"Chukapis watch out it's a zen headbutt! Stop it with your Slam attack!" Scythe than commands his starter. "PIKACHU!" Chukpais screams as it than dashes at the hard lunging Slowbro.

The two pokemon collide with force as Chukapis is tossed off into the cave wall, and Slowbro only flies back about 10 yards. "Chukapis are you ok?" Scythe asks the pokemon as it begins to stand up. "PI!" it says as it gets back on it's feet. "Hmm Chukapis just come back over here and take a break...your too exhausted from battling Shellder!" Scythe told the little mouse.

"PIKAAAA!" Chukapis shouts toward Scythe as it faces Slowbor. "You wanna keep going?" Scythe questions the courgaeous pokemon. "CHU!" Chukapis agreeingly states. "Than give it your all buddy! Use Thundershock!" Scythe commanded.

Chukapis charged up and shot a huge Thundershock attack at the Slowbro.
"SLOWW!" the Slowbro aggressivley cried as it took the attack head on. "Slow Slow Slow SLOWBROOO!" it than boomed as it stood up and pounded it's fist off it's chest.

"That's one angry Slowbro..." Scythe thinks to himself as he scratches his head.
"SlowlowlowlowlwlwolwowlooooooOOOBROOOOO!" Slowbro exclaimed as it shot a confusion attack at Chukapis. "Chukapis dodge it with quick attack and follow up with a slam!" Scythe quickly thinks up a plan.

"Pi pi pika!" Chukapis cries out as it uses quick attack to dodge the confusion attack and head for Slowbro. "Bro?" Slowbro cautiously thinks as it sees the Pikachu charging for it.

"SLOWWBROO!" it than shouts as it sends a water pulse at the attack Pikachu. "Chukapis slam through it and use thundershock!" Scythe than tells Chukapis. "PIKA PIKA PIKA CHUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" the brave electric mouse roars as it slams it's body straight through the water pulse attack. "PIKACHU!" it once again yells as it uses thundershock again which hits the Slowbro throwing it into the wall it was smacking it's tail against.

"Slowbro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the raging pokemon explodes with anger as it rises back up. "CRAP Chukapis use thundershock on the ceiling and wall around Slowbro fast!" Scythe hurridely shouts out hoping his plan works.

Chukapis begins to shoot more and more electricity at the walls which soon begin to crumble. "Slow? Slow? SLOOOWWW!" The Slowbro horrificly screams as the wall and ceiling begin to fall around it, and take it out.

"Wow...that was close..." Scythe says to Chukapis as he rubs the sweat off of his head. "Pi..ka!" Chukapis agrees as the two walk over to the rubble.

"That's odd..." Scythe states as he looks into the rubble and underneath is a normal Slowpoke. "PI?" Chukapis questions in a weird way. "I don't know buddy but something weird is going on down here.

"Hey it's the other dex holders!" Scythe exclaims as he dashes off towards the others through the hole in the wall he and Chukapis just created. As the two run forward they notice other slowpokes curled up in balls, and than they notice them.

Around all of the dex holders were men in black outfits, with red r's on the front. "Who are these guys...and do they have any relation to the other black cloaked men we fought?" Scythe thinks to himself as he and the others prepare for a rumble.

Sahib carefully walked along the wall of the cave, staring into the darkness as he did so. He paused as he saw a group of about five or so Slowpoke in front of him. Sahib really didn't feel like another battle, but they were right in his way…Great, he thought dryly. One of the Slowpoke looked up towards him, eyes drooped. Sahib frowned at the sadness that lurked in the Pokémon's eyes. It then set its head back down and pretended as if Sahib wasn't even there. He was able to make it past them, and it bothered him when they just lay there. I'm gonna get whoever did this, Sahib thought angrily.

So he continued on, despite the darkness. Suddenly he took another step, and wound up flat on his face. Sahib grumbled and rubbed his chin, peering about. No one was there, and there wasn't even a rock around that could've tripped him. Well that was slightly creepy, Sahib mused as he picked himself up. He rubbed his chin once more and found there was a scrape there. Oh that's just awesome, he thought in annoyance.

"Saaa…"

Sahib whipped around, looking wildly into the darkness. Suddenly a ghostly figure appeared before him, eyes shining like gems. Sahib laughed, realizing it was just a Sableye. The Sableye stalked towards him. Sahib frowned, laughter dying immediately. This Pokémon seemed fairly distraught as well, but more intent on hurting those who came into the cave. Sahib grabbed Furret's Pokeball and tossed it. In a flash of light, Furret appeared ready for battle.

"Start out with foresight, Furret," Sahib said.

Furret leered at the Sableye, eyes glowing slightly. Sahib ordered a quick attack just to be sure. Furret slammed into Sableye, making the Pokémon let out a surprised cry. It obviously hadn't suspected that the attack would land.

"Good job, Furret," Sahib said. "Now get it with fury swipes!"

Furret charged towards Sableye again, but this time the Pokémon vanished. Furret looked about, trying to find out where the Sableye was. Suddenly it appeared behind Furret, scratching at it with its own fury swipes. Furret cried out and ducked its head as it attempted to move away. The Sableye leapt back, and then suddenly its eyes began to glow. It was attempting a night shade attack. Furret simply cocked his head to the side, unsure of what Sableye was attempting to do. Sahib's lips twitched into a slight smirk. Sableye stopped the attack, blinking at Furret in confusion.

"It won't work, Sableye," Sahib said. "Furret, attack with quick attack!" Sahib called, pointing at the still blinking Sableye.

Furret feigned left and then slammed into Sableye's right. Sableye flew backwards, smacking against a boulder. It went right through the boulder, and suddenly appeared behind Furret. Before Sahib could warn his Pokémon, the Sableye had unleashed another fury swipes attack. Furret slammed its tail on Sableye's arms, and Sableye leaped away from Furret quickly. Then, just as quickly as it had come, the Pokémon vanished. Sahib blinked, looking around. He was expecting the Sableye to reappear, but it didn't.

"Well," Sahib began slowly, looking at Furret. "I guess this is the part where we keep going, huh?"

"Fur!" Furret agreed.

Sahib smiled at his Pokémon and recalled it. He turned back around towards the correct end of the cave, and began to walk through the pitch black once more. A frown marred his features as the sound got louder at louder, making his ears hurt.

Fenris: The second post was meant to be the battle against the Slowbro XD haha but i'll let it go since they were both short posts! Furret grew to lvl 25!

((I got Beo's permission to merge the first two parts because I wasn't really gonna catch anything ><))

Liliana stood in uncertainty for a bit. Would she go in and see what was going on or leave it be? But knowing her she simply could not leave it be. It's wasn't like her at all. So she went in, against better judgment. The inside of the well was clammy and perhaps a bit cold. She found herself rubbing her arms to warm up a bit. The oddest thing was that there weren't a lot of Pokémon around. They seemed a lot more cautious than normally. There wasn't a lot of light in the well, almost none really. She traced the wet and slippery wall with one hand as she walked.

She glimpsed a Surskit as it skittered away quickly. A couple of Shellder closed their shells at the sound of her. Even the Zubat didn't feel the need to pester. Perhaps they were afraid of something? A few Slowpoke did linger, maybe because they were too slow to get away or maybe because they just hadn't put two and two together. They yawned and looked at her when she got closer. In the distance she heard cries of Pokémon that suggested all was not well. They almost hurt her just listening to it, so she picked up her pace.

The farther into the well the louder the noises of pained Pokémon became. And the louder they became the more she hurried, in the end she was almost running toward when she heard a noise. No the noise. The wailing. She wanted to stop and hold her hands over her ears, but she couldn't. No wouldn't stop. That was when a new noise joined the wailing. Boom, boom, boom. Not a very comforting sound. It was coming closer and closer. Then she saw something purple in the dim light. It was running toward her, banging something against the wall. She had to squint to see it.

It was a Slowbro.
A shiny Slowbro that was banging its tail against the wall. That's where the booming noise came from. And it was coming straight toward her in its frenzy. She barely had time to reach for the first ball she could grasp. She sent it out and there was her… Aipom. The Slowbro stopped when it saw Abu. It was watching curiously as if decided to continue hitting the walls or attack. In the end it chose the latter.

The shiny Pokémon's head started to glow with and sparks were flying off it as it raced toward Abu in a Zen Headbutt. Abu dodged it easily but the Slowbro just didn't stop. It kept coming toward Abu, and he kept jumping away.

"Abu, use Payback!" Slowbro quickly advanced toward Abu again and hit him, but the Aipom swung his tail back and delivered his own blow while using Slowbro's power against him. The blow sent Slowbro sliding backward on the slippery floor, but it was as if the frenzy was keeping his strength up. Either that or he wasn't feeling the pain.

The Slowbro opened its mouth and fired strange pulsing beams of water. They were circular, almost like a sound wave, but they were obviously water and obviously going to hit Abu of he wasn't carefull. "Abu, see if you can jump through them and get to Slowbro, then use Astonish!" On his first try Abu jumped too high and got hit with the water blast, but he came up again and tried again. This time his tail caught the beam, but he landed and jumped again. He was getting the hang of this. Meanwhile Slobro just kept firing those waves.

Abu jumped ring over ring to get close to Slowbro. The closer he got the harder it became because these rings were smaller. He got hit once and Lili had been afraid he wouldn't get up in time for the next one, but he did. Then when he was close enough he used Astonish. He didn't have to be behind the Pokémon for it was pretty much in a daze. Abu yelled loudly and hit the shiny Pokémon right in its mouth with his tail. The Slowbro looked startled around.

"Make use of this by using a scratch!" Aipom scratched the Slowbro, but again it looked like it acted as if it had done no damage, but it looked like it had. Liliana would just have to go by the looks of it, for that was the most positive one. It said that one more hit would do it. But it said the same over Abu. One of them was going down by the next move.

"Abu, use an Astonish with all your power!" Just as she asked that of her monkey the Slowbro got ready for another Zen Headbutt. It's head sparked white again as it advanced like a mad Tauros. Abu jumped around however and didn't even bother to screech anymore. It just hit the opponent as hard as it could with his tail. The Slowbro looked confused for a second before fainting. Thank god the looks of it had been correct.

What was strange was that while it lay there it started to glow a yellowish white. As if it were evolving but not quite. It's features decreased, and it became smaller before turning into an ordinary little Slowpoke. It curled up into a ball and started snoring. What the hell?

The noise was still ringing through the well and that had her main attention now. Whatever they were doing to the Pokémon, it was not a good thing. She picked some mushrooms that she identified as healing ones, fed one to her very tired Abu, and ran toward the cause of this noise.

She found it alright, but it weren't the usual bad-doers. There were seven men in black with a big red R on their shirt. In the back was a scientist, definitely not prepared to get his hands dirty. She also noticed that the others were there. She noticed Sahib, a boy with spiky black and gold hair and a small boy with orange hair. She had no time to really look at the others before her direction was turned toward the black clad R's again. They seemed to be ready for whatever they were going to throw at them.

Dutchesse: Not a bad post it wasn't that crappy! lol Anyways Aipom grew to lvl 18! Aipom wants to learn fury swipes delete a move to make room?

Sahib eventually got to the point where he was walking with his hands over his ears. He grumbled under his breath, muttering to himself curses on whoever did this. He had very good hearing, and he didn't want this to be the end of that. Sahib sighed softly and blinked, squinting when he thought he saw something. He stared for a brief moment, and then shrugged before continuing to walk. Suddenly he heard slamming sounds from fairly close to him. He finally saw it. Before him was a funky colored Slowbro. It was running around the cave, slamming its tail on the wall. Small craters fell from where its spiked tail hit. Sahib winced, slowly beginning to get a headache.

The Slowpoke stared almost stupidly at Sahib for a few brief moments. They just stood there and stared at each other. Slowbro blinked dumbly, but then suddenly his eyes turned to rage. It roared and charged directly for Sahib. Sahib's eyes went wide and he quickly grabbed Flaffy's Pokeball.

"Let's go, Flaffy," Sahib called, tossing Flaffy's Pokeball. "Start off with a thunder wave!" Sahib called. Flaffy nodded and then stored electricity in his horns.

Slowbro charged, head lighting up in a zen headbutt attack. As it neared, Flaffy unleashed s nice stream of energy that jolted through Slowbro, knocking it off course and sending it staggering about the cave. Sahib then ordered a thundershock. Flaffy stored energy for a brief moment, and then unleashed it in a thundershock attack. Sahib clenched his teeth and almost cursed when he saw that the attack barely did anything. It seemed that Slowbro had thicker skin than Sahib had first guessed.

"Flaaaaa!" Flaffy called, using another thundershock. It basically did as much damage as the first…minimal.

Sahib clenched his teeth, wondering what on earth he could do. Flaffy was still attacking, but was growing tired rapidly from using so much energy. The Slowbro was attempting to shake the paralysis off, and it almost seemed as if it were working. What to do… Sahib thought quickly. "Flaffy, stop attacking. I don't want you to drain all of your energy," Sahib called. Flaffy cut off the electric stream immediately. Sahib glanced around wildly, wondering what to do.

Finally Slowbro shook off the paralysis enough to where it could move. It grunted and leered angrily at Sahib. Then its eyes began to glow red. Sahib tried to call out for Flaffy to watch it, but before he could Flaffy was dancing around and began slammed against the rocks. Sahib ground his teeth together, clenching his fists. The Slowbro stopped the confusion attack, and then shot a giant stream of water from its jaws. The attack slammed into Flaffy, knocking the Pokémon against the wall once more.

That was it. Sahib had his idea. Just from that single attack, he knew what he was going to do. "Flaffy, wait for it to use water pulse again!" Sahib called as his Pokémon slowly got up. He saw that it looked much damaged, and vaguely wondered how well this would work.

The Slowbro paused, panting lightly. Sahib was surprised that it seemed to be wary as well. Probably from bashing and hacking at the wall, Sahib mused, ready to launch the attack. Slowbro's gaze moved over to Flaffy. Then it opened its mouth and shot a stream of water directly for it. Sahib ordered it then.

Flaffy unleashed its own stream. It was a stream of electricity, and it traveled along the water like it should. Water is such an excellent conductor, Sahib thought, a small smirk on his face. The Slowbro didn't realize the attack was coming until it was too late. The electricity hit it with full force, buzzing as it went. Sahib stayed silent as the lightning lit the cave, until finally it stopped. Slowbro was lying face down on the floor of the cave. Sahib let out a breath, but then Flaffy collapsed.

After Flaffy's collapse, a few things happened that were fairly significant. Slowbro slowly reverted down to a Slowpoke, even losing its shiny color. Sahib's eyebrows shot up as it curled into a ball, pink once more. He paused, looking at it. Then he recalled Flaffy and walked off, jogging once more towards the noise. He stopped just before he got out of the cave, noting a bunch of fungus in the corner. I know what that is! He thought as he bent down and plucked a bunch up. He stuck it in his pack and then ran towards the end of the well.

Once there, he saw seven men. Each of them was in black uniforms. There was a red R on each of their uniform shirts. In the back, there was a man wearing a white lab coat. Sahib stared at the coat, eyes growing wide. He shuddered as he remembered…the coat looked just as his father's had. Sahib swallowed heavily, and then looked around. The others were there as well. Here we go again, Sahib thought dryly, wiping the shock off of his expression.

The grunts finally turned to them all. There was a grin on each of their faces, and it was a rather maniac-ish grin. Sahib glared back at them. The scientist turned slowly, and Sahib suddenly had a flash of his father's face. It faded suddenly, but Sahib swallowed heavily. He chuckled and then spoke,

"Fantastic! Some young trainers are here to test the latest additions to the machine on!" Sahib's eyes narrowed at the man. Suddenly the grunts each pulled out a Pokeball and released a shiny Pokémon each. Sahib stared at the Vileplume in front of him, but he wasn't terribly worried.

"A Vileplume, huh?" Sahib questioned under his breath. "Eat this!" He grabbed Quilava's Pokeball and chucked it towards the makeshift field. The Vileplume leapt back as Quilava appeared in a flash of white light. The flames on his head and back ignited immediately.

The grunt clenched his teeth. "That little fire rat won't do a thing to Vileplume," he spat. Sahib snorted, feeling as if it were like the man was almost trying to reassure himself of this fact. "Vileplume, beat it down. Use poison powder!" the grunt called, pointing towards Quilava.

"Try to dodge it!" Sahib called urgently. He didn't want Quilava to become unable to battle so quickly. "If you can't, don't worry. Use ember!" Sahib called, hoping against all odds that the ember might blow the powder away.

The purple powder slowly floated over to Quilava. Quilava shot a burst of fire into the powder, but all it did was create a hole. The Vileplume looked on in a smug way. Quilava choked on the poison powder, and then seconds later it had a rather nasty look on his face. Quilava winced, and then shot a burst of flame from its mouth. The Vileplume hopped aside of the ember. Quilava growled and continued shooting them off, but the Vileplume was somehow able to dodge the attacks. The grunt laughed as he watched, angering Sahib even more.

"Let's get this over quick. Use petal dance, Vileplume," the grunt called.

"You have a really annoying voice. Quilava, shoot 'em down with ember!" Sahib called. The grunt glared, obviously disliking the fact that some kid had just said he had an annoying voice.

Vileplume leapt up in the air and twirled. Petals flew off the Pokémon, flying towards Quilava at a quick speed. Quilava panted lightly and winced from the poison, but managed to shoot out a burning ember attack. It cleared the petals in the way, and slammed into Vileplume. The grunt cursed as Vileplume slammed against the ceiling from the force of the attack. It thudded on the ground put slowly got up. Sahib smirked slightly, but knew that it was far from over just yet.

"Quilava, use flame wheel!" Sahib called.

"HA! All your Pokémon knows is a baby move?! It doesn't even know flamethrower yet! Pathetic!" the grunt spat out. "Show them a real move, Vileplume. Use mega drain!"

Vileplume shot a seed from the top of its head. Quilava struggled as the seed latched onto him. It wrapped around his body, sucking energy from him. Quilava burst into flame, but the seed didn't burn. It slowly sucked away Quilava's energy and transferred it to Vileplume. The grunt laughed wildly. Sahib rolled his eyes, glad to see that it didn't do much damage. Quilava winced suddenly, faltering in his step. Sahib clenched his fists. Quilava's energy was draining—and fast. Quilava shook its head and charged at Vileplume, slamming his flaming body into the leafy one.

"Pllluuuuuuuuume!" Vileplume cried, thudding against the ground.

"Vileplume, get up and fight!" the grunt growled, showing no mercy for the injured Pokémon.

Sahib glared at the guy. "Maybe you should give up," he suggested, "and stop hurting your Pokémon so much!" Sahib didn't wait for a reply. "Close range ember, Quilava!" Sahib ordered to his Pokémon.

Quilava cried out as the poison took effect, but then shot a burst of fire into Vileplume's face. The Pokémon cried out, and Quilava stopped. It leaped away from Vileplume, panting heavily and wincing. Sahib noticed that Quilava almost looked on the verge of fainting.

"You stupid…" the grunt growled as he glared at Vileplume.

That's when it happened. The Vileplume slowly turned back to its original form. Sahib stared at the Pokémon silently. It kept the shiny color, but otherwise didn't look very powerful. He looked up from the Pokémon and saw that the grunts had turned tail and disappeared. Sahib shook his head, sighing quietly. His gaze drifted once more over to the Pokémon.

The scientist then started to laugh maniacally. Sahib snapped his head up to look at the man, eyes narrowed. What's he got up his sleeve this time? Sahib wondered silently. The scientist then produced something that looked just like a gun. Sahib's eyes went wide as he began to shoot the Pokémon in a row. He ran towards Quilava, but arrived too late. A familiar shriek went through the cave as their Pokémon slowly began to change.

"Quilava!" Sahib cried out.

"Fantastic, some trainers to test the latest additions to the machine on!" The scientist cawed it out happily as if their coming had been a blessing beyond all measure. The R facing her got out a ball and in front of her appeared a shiny Muk. This one did not seem to be in a rampage like the Slowbro had been. It was smelly and disgusting, but it was under control. Too bad the control did not like her.

The pile of radioactive green mud roared in delight after being released. Liliana let out Djali, but she didn't seem all too happy to face this disaster. "Muk use gunk shot." The R's voice was cold and uncaring. The Muk shot out goo at Djali, but she dodged it all. Direct physical attacks weren't going to help, Lili doubted Djali was in for that thing between her teeth. So this was going to have to be solved with brutal electricity.

"Djali, I want you to charge and then use spark," Lili called out. Djali stopped in her tracks and sparks were flying around her. Unfortunately Muk's goo also flew past her ears. One of them got her head on and she hit the wall painfully. But she just got up and started charging again. More gunk hit the walls behind her but the Muk wasn't awfully good shot and missed more of the time. Then Djali shot forward and as soon as she was close enough she fired a powerful spark attack. It didn't seem to hurt Muk all too much however.

"Djali, continue using spark!" It was her only hope, really. Djali might be able to weaken it enough. Djali jumped around to avoid shots of gunk while she used spark, but they did next to nothing. "Muk, use Mud Bomb." Muk seemed to gather a lot of mud before him and then threw it all at Djali, she tried to dodge, but she wasn't fast enough. She really had no chance against the ground attack and couldn't continue.

"Abu, your turn!" Abu was the weakest link to their party, but Nala wouldn't be able to do anything. Grass attacks don't do anything for a poison one. And she knew what they said about Muk. It can kill plants on contact, and Nala happened to be too plantlike for comfort.

"Muk, use mud bomb again." The man was confident. Such a small Aipom could do nothing against his all powerful Muk. Well they would show him exactly what such a small Aipom could do. "Abu avoid it and use fury swipes!" Aipom jumped out of the way with his amazing speed and jumped toward the Muk. He started hitting it multiple times with his tail. Surprisingly the physical attacks seemed to hurt him more than the non-physical ones. Even a little Aipom's fury swipes seemed to deal him quite some damage. This might not be over yet!

"Muk use sludge." Not so confident this time. Muk spit out a whole chunk of purple sludge that did not seem too hygienic. Abu jumped in just in time to not get a full load, but it partly hit and apparently it stung. Abu's flesh around his tail looks very reddish even on the purple fur. It simply did not look like it felt good.

"Abu, use astonish, and then use fury swipes again!" The Aipom jumped on Muk yelling god knows what before it hit it square in the chest. The tail seemed to go right through the mud that was its being, but it also seemed to hit something solid inside it. Muk flinched in pain as it did. That was what they needed to hit to take this puppy down.

Aipom then continued on, it's tail swing as some sort of dance as it pounded multiple hits, each disappearing inside the body and then coming out again. The Muk was in pain, but suddenly it lashed out with a mud bomb out of nowhere. It hit Abu square, but it also rebounded onto Muk itself. Abu had been too close to the Muk. The ground attack hit it hard and the Muk seemed to be imploding in on itself as it was knocked out. It glowed, then became a shiny Grimer. Strange.

The Grunt and his brethren all ran way, the cowards they were. But the scientist didn't. He had a wicked grin on his face as he took out a gun and aimed it at Abu. One shot hit it straight on. Liliana flinched as the Aipom shrieked like he was trying to scream his lungs out. The wail was so familiar Liliana shuddered as she closed her hands over her ear and watched her Pokémon writhe in pain…

Fenris: Woah! Nice battle! Quilava grew to lvl 27!!

Dutchesse: Very nice post! Good battle! Shinx grew to lvl 22! Abu grew to lvl 20!

Sahib watched in horror as his Pokémon changed. Its color went first. The blue fur on his body turned to a shiny red color, and that was when Sahib knew. He watched as Quilava then burst into light, evolving before his very eyes into a large Typhlosion. Sahib swallowed, staring at his Pokémon. The Typhlosion opened his eyes, looking at Sahib with murderous red orbs. Sahib stared at his Pokémon and fumbled for his Pokedex.

He looked and saw something that baffled him. Typhlosion knew moves that Sahib had most certainly never taught it. Flamethrower, thunder punch, earthquake, and solar beam was in his arsenal. Sahib stared at his Pokémon. He almost missed what the scientist said, but a part of his brain got it.

"ALL HAIL GIOVANNI!" And then he was gone.

Typhlosion then roared, the flame on its back bursting to life. It snarled at Sahib. He stared at Typhlosion, unsure of what to do. This wasn't exactly how he had planned his journey—not at all. Typhlosion snarled once more. It took a step closer towards Sahib. There was a puff of smoke out of his nostrils. Sahib watched as a flamethrower was shot directly at his head. Sahib ducked, allowing the fire to slam into the rocks behind him. He stood rightfully once the attack was over, staring at the smoldering rocks behind him.

"Typhlosion…" Sahib murmured, attempting to soothe his Pokémon.

"BAKUN!" Typhlosion roared. It shot fire towards the ceiling.

"Typhlosion!" Sahib called.

Typhlosion snapped its head towards Sahib. It growled, but didn't attack this time. Sahib wet his suddenly dry lips. Typhlosion roared suddenly again. He brought up his paw and then slammed it down onto the earth. This resulted in a rather nasty earthquake attack. Sahib fell backwards, landing more on his backpack than anything. He stared up at his Pokémon as it neared. Finally Typhlosion was towering over him, snarling in his face.

Sahib reached out and, despite his better judgment, pressed his hand to Typhlosion's head. Typhlosion snorted, little puffs of smoke appearing from its jaws. Sahib scratched his Pokémon's head.

"C'mon buddy," he mumbled. "Don't you recognize me?"

Typhlosion growled softly, but it wasn't as menacing this time. Sahib smiled tentatively and patted it on the head. Typhlosion closed its eyes, leaning into Sahib's hand. Just as Sahib thought everything was good, Typhlosion's eyes snapped open and glared at Sahib wildly. A psychotic smirk appeared on the Pokémon's face. Typhlosion opened his jaws, a burst of fire forming at the back of its throat. Sahib cried out and moved away from his Pokémon, but not quick enough. The attack slammed into his chest. Sahib screamed and slammed against the cave wall. He fell forward, cringing as the burn on his stomach stunk like dead skin.

Typhlosion snorted in triumph. Sahib swallowed heavily and attempted to get up. His stomach seared, so he fell back down. Sahib rolled to his back and then peered down. Lucky he had been wearing the sweatshirt, otherwise he might've had to get a new organ. The burn was still very bad—looking to be either a second or third degree. Sahib's head fell back on the floor. Typhlosion…he thought, what do I do?

Typhlosion walked up to him once more and stared down at his trainer. Sahib winced as his burn seared harder. Typhlosion waited, almost as if it were expecting something.

"I'm not…gonna fight you," Sahib growled.

"Bakun?" Typhlosion questioned, cocking its head to the side. The psychotic smirk had gone from its face, and he looked to be…almost normal.

"No," Sahib repeated.

Typhlosion roared again, but this time it was out of pain. Sahib's eyes went wide. He would've moved if he could, but quite frankly it hurt too much. Suddenly it began to revert back down to a Quilava. It kept the same shiny hue. Sahib peered at his Pokedex and saw that it also had the move thunder punch. Sahib was too tired to think of what it had replaced at the moment. Quilava snapped its eyes open and cried out, rushing to Sahib's wound and looking at Sahib quickly.

"Don't worry," Sahib said. He managed a grin. Sahib let out a breath and pushed himself up, hissing through his teeth. Finally after he managed to sit up, Sahib grabbed some mushrooms out of his pack and healed his entire team. They ate them quickly, but Furret and Flaffy kept glancing at Quilava. "It's alright," Sahib muttered to them. He looked at his skin. That could've went better, he thought dryly as he grabbed one of his shirts from his pack. He pressed it against the wound and hissed once more as it sent a shock of fire through his system.

Once his team was healed, Sahib stood slowly and began on his way out of the Well. He heard sounds from the surface. Sahib watched as the others ran up, and he quickened his pace as much as he could. I'll bandage this soon enough, he reasoned. Then he watched as he saw people scrambling around frantically. A group of five trainers were walking off towards Ilex Forest…They were carrying what appeared to be Bugsy's body. Sahib stared, jaw dropped and shirt pressed to his stomach.
