Charizard_Man: Good post! Taro grew to lvl 25! and Sprink grew to lvl 20! Sprink wants to learn cotton spore delete a move to make room?

Damion's eyes widened as the sigh before him unfolded, a line of dex holders glared at a crowd of men. The men were wearing all black, with a bright crimson "R" on their chests. They seemed to be tinkering with pokeballs on a conveyor belt which was attatched to a machine. A lanky man with shady glasses, swirls in them, and a clean white lab coat watched over. The man stood on a higher grounded cliff as he watched the men, the scientist looked over at the line of trainer and grunted,

"Bah! What is this?!" The man screamed out, clutching the air. Damion smirked and quickly took his place in line, the man regained his composure and smirked. The group of black-dressed men all turned to glare at the dex holders, the men's shaded eyes scanned the lines of dex holders. They seemed to be picking out the one's that they want to fight.

"Wait, what am I saying?" The man chuckled deeply. As the man continued his laughter, Damion slowly reached into his bag and took out a stout mushroom-looking item. With a quiet puff of smoke that the rocket grunts didn't notice, Sprink clung onto Damion's back. The other dex holders watched in puzzlement, and entertainment. Damion quickly fed Sprink the mushroom and smirked as the scientist finished his laughter,

"We FINALLY have some test subjects. Rocket Grunts, fall out!!" The scientist firmly pointed at the line of dex holders. The trainers quickly spread out, dashing to sufficient space to battle. Damion quietly stood in place as a hefty man ran towards him and stopped about 20 yards away,

"Hey there brat. What's wrong, scared?"

"Please. An oddish is scarier than you." Damion smirked, the man growled.

"Oh, and guess what. Your little Slowbro experiment, was foiled. The pokemon made it out alive."

"But don't count on it that you will too."

A murky shape erupted from his pokeball. Its long tail curled around itself, dark golden in color and as thick as a tree trunk. The tail lead up to a hooded snake pokemon, the multi-colored eye pattern on its head flaps seemed to wink with every movement the creature made.

"ARBOOK!" The snake swayed back and forth, baring its fangs and hissing venom.

"Arbok. Gunk Shot." The rocket grunt's voice as calm and slow, as if he knew he had all the time in the world.

Arbok sprang to life. He coiled his body, and lunged forward, projecting a pillar of oozing purple sludge at Sprink.

"SPRINK!" Damiion yelled, and Sprink launched herself forward from the boy's back, her white fur expanded and released a cloud of blinding cotton spores. Sprink continued to run moving at a blinding speed and avoiding Sludge Bomb's attack.

"Now Sprink!! Thunder Wave!!"

The Flaaffy let off a weak wave of electricity, hitting the Arbok and rendering his lithe body motionless.

"Don't let it faze you, Arbok. Use Acid, now!" The Rocket grunt's voice was stoic.

The ground melted below Sprink. The melted floor seeped into Sprink's ankles and turned dark green. The toxicity rendered her weak.

Both pokemon moved slowly, one inflicted with paralysis and the other, poison.

Both inflicted with weakness.

Arbok, being the slowest of the two, executed his next move with sluggish despondency.

"Now Arbok, Wrap."

The snake pokemon slithered its way over to a large Stalagmite and coiled his tail around it. The arena below Sprink cracked, the fissure running toward the electric type quickly.

"Very smart. Cotton Spore!" Damion injected with calmness.

Sprink's spores spread in every direction to cloak Sprink's movements, the fissure split into smaller branches to cover more ground.

The Rocket smirked.

The Poison took its eventual toll, and Sprink staggered. The boulder she stood on cracked and collapsed, Sprink fell to the floor. She stood up and puffed out her chest, sparks released from her fur.

"Sprink, you did enough. Taro!" Damion quickly changed his pokemon and released his rock type, the boy swiftly handed Taro a mushroom to munch on.

"Arbok, use Gunk Shot and stream along with it!"

The poison pokemon released a thick, collumn of purple and green slude. The Arbok promply leaped into the slude and used the propultion to launch its own body at Taro, its body not being affected do to its poison nature.

"Taro, Rock Slide and block that gunk!" He shouted. Taro concentrated and made a large boulder rocket up from the ground and completely shield him and his trainer from the attack, the sludge launching to either side. Arbok violently slammed into the boulder, cracking it.

"Taro. Bite!"

"Arbok, leap up and dodge it!"

Taro ran at Arbok, charging with all his speed. He had to get to Arbok before the pokemon leaped up to high for Taro to reach.

Too late. The Arbok was snuggly coiled on a highly elevated Stalagmite, Damion scoffed.

"Rock Slide." Damion ordered calmly, the rock pokemon raised its arms and cracked the Stalagmite in half. The upper half, which was where Arbok was coiled, was launched hard near the machine. Damion chuckled slightly as he saw the Scientist's concerned face for the machine, then noticed the Arbok was knocked out.

"Phew. That was close, huh?" Damion grinned as Taro gave a thumbs up, the boy looked up to see the Arbok morph into a smaller snake with a purple color. An Ekans.

"Damn. You're lucky punk, we'll meet again! I will be the one to kill you, LUTHER! Not anyone else, no matter what they say." With those final words, the rocket ran back up the stone steps which Damion came from.

"What did he mean by that...who wants to kill me?" Damion's mind was entangled in this terrifying thoughts.

"Hehehe...HAHAHA!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!" Damion's spine chilled as he looked up to see the scientist sweating heavily, a vain present on his forehead and his teeth clenched into an evil smile. The scientist laughed evily as he clutched his head,

"No...NO!! This won't happen..hehehehe....it CAN'T happen...hehehe. HAHAHAHA!!" The mad man raised a blue gun of sorts with a vile attatched to it, Damion's eyes widened as a familiar wail was heard. A crackling, yellow laser shot towards Taro.

"TARO!!! HURRY, COME BACK!!" Damion raised up his pokeball and launched it, it collided with the rock pokemon at the same time the laser did. The boy was launched back with a blinding light,

'No. I can't loose one of my only..friends. I just can't.' Damion thought to himself, the boy leaped up and dashed towards the area where the laser hit Taro. The entire cave was still lit up by the blinding light, Damion's vision was blanketed by a large shadow. Damion's eyes widened as he looked up...into the face of Horror...

END.

"Ouch, running low on Pokéballs, we've gotta stock up in the next town" Kaitlyn murmured, noticing she was down to her last Pokéball "Gran. Bull. Graa" Granbull chimed beside her, no longer compact and travel size, Snoopy was pawing alongside her, down on all fours with Sho sitting comfortably on his head, they were moving deeper and deeper into the cave and they noticed the noise was beginning to get louder and louder, not to mention that irritating slamming noise "What the hell man, are they mining down here or something? What's with all this damn banging"

Her question was soon answered when an odd looking Slowbro came running at them, smashing its tail on the wall and leaving huge dents in it "What's up with that thing!"

Slowbro
The Hermit Crab Pokémon
Though usually dim witted, it seems to become inspired if the Shellder on its tail bites down.

"Broooo" it groaned before firing a Water Pulse at them, Kaitlyn and Snoopy quickly leapt out of the way "So, it's a fight you want huh? Alright Stitch show this Slowbro what your made of!" Kaitlyn tossed down her Pokéball and out came her recently captured Sableye, it chittered and hissed at the Slowbro, who growled angrily and its eyes began glowing blue, it was using Confusion, which had no effect on Stitch, who blinked when the blue glow engulfed her "Cool! Psychic attack's don't affect you… come to think of it" Kaitlyn trailed off thoughtfully "You don't really have a weakness to any type! And your immune to fighting, Normal and Psychic attacks and your resistant to poison… Wow Stitch, you rock!" the Sableye smirked at the praise "Bleye" she hissed before flexing her claws "Now, use Astonish!" Stitch nodded and shouted, causing Slowbro to flinch.

"Now use Fake Out!"

Stitch disappeared and then reappeared behind Slowbro and slashed it on the back, causing it to cry out and lurch slightly forward "Brooo" it grumbled before charging at Stitch with Zen Headbutt, its head was glowing a bright white, but since Psychic attacks were ineffective, the Slowbro just wound up running right through Stitch and hitting the cave wall behind her "Hehehe" Stitch chuckled and vanished before Slowbro's, who had started to rise again angrily, sight "Slooooow. Bro. Bro. Bro!" Slowbro had obviously figured out most of its attacks wouldn't work, so it got creative and used Confusion, then launched several Water Pulses, suspending them in mid air with Confusion, before it batted them all at Stitch with quick butts from Zen Headbutt, Stitch wasn't able to dodge them all and got hit with most of them.

"Bleye" she moaned clutching her head, obviously she had become confused by the after affect of Water Pulse "Stitch! Snap out of it! Use Fury Swipes!" and Stitch did, but not on Slowbro, she began attacking her self, scratching at her arms and torso with her sharp claws, but they did nothing to her, since it was a normal attack, she continued scratching herself for several moments and it wasn't helping that Slowbro had now began using his more effective way off attacking, using Zen Headbutt on those Water Pulses were very effective and gave the tiny water ball's much more strength and power upon connecting with an opponent, so Stitch was getting herself knocked around like a ball while she was still confused.

"Stitch!!"

"Bleye?" Stitch blinked and scratched her head, chittering and gurgling inaudibly for a few moments before she realized where she was and glared at the Slowbro "Good. Are you with me now?" Stitch glanced back at Kaitlyn and nodded, giving a salute "Bleye!" Kaitlyn grinned "Alright! Now, Use Astonish" Stitch got back into action, ducking and dodging the headbutted Water Pulses, she then opened her mouth and let loose an ear shattering high pitched wail, that caused Slowbro to lose its concentration and flinch.

"Now follow up with Night Shade!!"

Stitch's hands then began to glow and she shot a black beam or ghostly energy at the Slowbro, nailing it right in the forehead and that seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back, because Slowbro groaned and began to wobble weakly, before it fell back onto the ground unconscious "Broooo" Kaitlyn blinked and was about to open her mouth and say something, but the Slowbro started to pulsate, then a bright flash of light engulfed it and it began to shrink! Right before her eyes, the Slowbro devolved, into a normal, regular colored Slowpoke, which then moaned weakly and curled into a ball.

Stitch blinked.

Sho blinked.

Snoopy blinked.

Kaitlyn stared.

"Now that is some freaky @$$ sh*t."

Shaking her head Kaitlyn was about to recall Stitch, when she noticed the Ghost was nibbling on something "Hey… whatcha got there Stitch?" she pointed
near the corner of the cave and Kaitlyn noticed some edible fungus over there, blinking she looked at her Sableye, who looked a lot better after she ate it, so Kaitlyn assumed it had some type of healing properties and began grabbing a few handful's and stuffed them in her messenger bag, handing one to Snoopy and Sho, while saving the rest for later.

After collecting her fill, recalling Stitch, Sho sat on Snoopy's head and he followed Kaitlyn towards the end of the well, upon hearing the noises were starting to get louder "Hey! I think we're almost at the source" she told them as they finally made it to the end of the cave. And in the back of the well stood seven men in black uniforms each with their shirts emblazoned with an R and behind them stood a scientist wearing a white lab coat. It was also then Kaitlyn noticed everyone else was there too, she had a feeling this was gonna be one hell of a showdown.

Yashi: Awesome post! Stitch grew to lvl 19! Stitch wants to learn Fake out delete a move to make room?

Damion's eyes widened in horror, the blinding flash of white light soon turned into a blazing white inferno. White flames seemed to blanket the entire area, a large creature towered over Damion. From the sweltering gas being brought up by the fire, a monsters stomped out and let out a ferocious roar that shook the well. Stalagmites cracking, the stone hills fissuring, Damion turned to see the scientist laughing madly.

"Heheheh. ALL HAIL GIOVANNI!! HAHAHAH!!!" With a flap of his lab coat he dashed off, up the sotne steps and out of the well. Damion was left to face off against the tyrant that towered over him, the beast stomped out of the flames even more to reveal its entire figure. Tan armour covering its entire body, a purple belly and jagged spikes on its head and back.

"W-What is that thing?" Damion quickly flipped open his pokedex and was shocked, it was a different colored Tyranitar. The final evolution of Taro,

"T-Taro?" Damion looked up, the beheamoth's head shot down to look at Damion and screeched violently. Damion automatically dashed for safety, he turned to see the beast stomping on the ground. It opened its mouth and released a crackling beam of yellow energy the completely broke the rocky hill that seperated them from the exit in half.

Damion was shocked by the power, "But how come the picture in my pokedex is a different color-Wait! That gun the scientist used, it must've not only evolved him two stages...but also changed his color. Just like Slowbro and Arbok!" Damion whispered to himself, and knew what he had to do.

With a puff of smoke, Sprink braced her arms and feet onto the ground and growled. Her tail on end and sparks flying out of her fur. Hoot floated masterfully in the air besides Sprink, his eyes glaring the the Tyranitar.

"Alright guys, even if that is Taro's body...it's not Taro's heart. So we're gonna have to remind him. Who his friends are!" Damion raised his arm and pointed at the beast, his two pokemon understood and dashed into battle.

Sprink started by puffing out her fur, releasing a cloud of spores that both blinded and slowed the beast down. The Tyranitar yelled in anger, the Tyranitar stomped his way out of the cloud with stiffened movements.

"Since Hoot can't do much in this battle, he'll have to be a decoy. Now, Peck!" Damion ordered, Hoot flew down and began to dig his big into the armour pokemon wich seemed to be an annoyance to the pokemon rather than a damaging attack. Tyranitar flung its body around and raised a fist, his fist whizzed out electrical bolts.

"That's not good, Thunderwave!!" Sprink leaped in the air and released a weak electrical signal that coiled around the beast's arm, and spread throughout his entire body. Damion scowled at himself for almost letting Hoot get hurt, he looked down to check his pokeded.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Johto Leagues Fate
TYRANITAR:
LEVEL 32
Type 1/ROCK
Type 2/DARK
ATTACKS:
HYPER BEAM

THUNDER PUNCH
ICE PUNCH
STONE EDGE

Damion's eyes widened at the drastic change in level and attacks, the boy clenched his fists and looked down.

'This...is what I wanted. This is what I get...for having friends.' The boy thought to himself and quickly shot his head up,

"Thundershock!" Sprink shot up into the air and released a powerful stream of lightning that struck the foe. Lucky for Damion, he had the pokedex, so he knew electric attacks worked despite its rock type. The beast was rattled by the electricity and stumbled back,

"Tackle." Damion swung his hand, Sprink grinned she launched her body head-first at the best's chest. Tyranitar growled as it fell backwards, Sprink and Hoot grinned. But little did they know, so was the Tyranitar. The rocky ground and walls around them were rumbling, and shot out several jagged stones. The stones floated in mid-air momentarily, as Tyranitar made his way to his feet. The pokemon grinned mischeavously, his blood-shot eyes staring at his once partners.

"GYARGHGHGHH!!!!" The beast yelled as it raised its arms, the stones automatically rocketed towards the two.

"Hoot! Reflect!!" Damion injected frantically, the Nowctowl's eyepiece glowed pink and shot out two barriers that protected both Hoot and Sprink. Stone Edge, being a physical attack, was reduced significantly. Only a few rocks passing by and scraping the two pokemon, Hoot having more of the damage.

"RAGHGHGH!!!" The beast shouted again, as the dirt from the entire well concentrated on their battle arena. Blanketing it in a yellow dirty vortex,

"Hmph. Sand Stream. Thundershock, Peck!!" Sprink released another thundershock that hit the foe's purple belly, a critical hit! Damion snapped his fingers,

"Got your weak spot! Hoot, now you know where to strike!" Hoot quickly flapped its powerful wings and rocketed towards the Tyranitar, the paralyzed pokemon had problems moving to defend itself. Hoot, with his superior speed, easily maneuevered around the foe's arms and dug its beak into its belly. The pokemon growled as a thin stream of crimson blood trickled down, the pokemon roared. His eyes glowing a menacing white, and traces of orange energy forming in his mouth.

"Hyper Beam! It'll hit them both! REFLECT!!" Damion shouted, but Hoot had little energy due to the Stone Edge attack. Hoot looked back at the frightened Sprink and grinned, Sprink shook her head in disagreement in whatever Hoot was thinking. The owl pokemon leaped in front of Tyranitar's face and released a Reflect attack that floated back to Sprink and pinned her against a wall, for ultimate protection. The Hyper Beam quickly was released and completely covered Hoot's body, no trace of the bird pokemon could be seen. Not even after the attack.

Damion fell to his knees, the Tyarnitar laughed menacingly as the Reflet faded away and Sprink fell gently to the ground. Damion looked around for his bird pokemon, but the sandstorm blanketed his vision.

"Hoot sacrificed himself...for Sprink. Is that what love is?" Damion looked up to see Sprink screaming out, tears trickling down her cheeks and into her fur.

"THUNDERSHOCK HIM!!" Damion screamed out in anguish.

Small puddles of tear drops formed on the ground, she released several thundershock attacks that knocked the beast back until he was against the wall. Sprink continued to scream at the tyrant, who in turn simply watched the pink pokemon.

Tyranitar blinked heavily, his blood-shot eyes becoming normal. Tears falling down his cheek,

"Gyragghhh...." The Tyranitar seemed to grumble at Sprink in a hushed tone, Sprink continued to cry and looked at Tyranitar.

"They're...talking." Damion said to himself as he ran over to the two, Tyranitar looked at Damion as tears fell down the tyrant's cheeks.

"Taro." Damion said sympathetically, the boy ran over and hugged the beast. The pokemon was taken by surprise and returned the hug, the Tyarnitar went from a tan color to a dull green armour with a dull blue belly. The pokemon glowed a faint white and shrunk significantly, turning into a silver cacoon with large eyes. Damion looked on in shock, keeping his hug in place. The silver pokemon then turned into the familiar Taro,

"TARO!!" Damion grinned happily and hugged the Larvitar, Sprink still sobbing slighty. Her love was lost....

____________________________________________

Damion walked up the stone steps where the rockets ran from and found an alternate exit for the well than the one where he entered. He exited the well and stumbled to the floor, he breathed heavily and coughed violently. The final cough released a small spray of blood, Taro and Sprink were safely in thir pokeball. Both pokemon looked into the empty third one in between them,

"Larvi..."

"Flaaff...." The pokemon muttered.

"DAMION!!!" The boy looked up from his small puddle of blood to see his grandfather, tattered clothing and a tan figure on his back.

"I handled the Zubat and was on my way to help you, when I saw the giant rock hill that seperated the cave completely break in half. I knew you were dealing with something big so I sent out Dossa and surfed my way across the lake, but that's when I saw it!!"

"Saw what...grandpa?" Damion cleaned his mouth and hugged his wounds as he stood up, his grandfather grinned as a healthy Noctowl spran up from his back.

"H-H-HOOT!" Damion grinned, the Noctowl smiled tremendously and let himself get squeezed by his trainer. His grandfather chuckled,

"I saw this fella being shot through boulders by a hyper beam, he was in critical condition so I used a Revive I brought along." His grandfather smiled.

"TAR! LARVITAR!"

"FLAAFY!!!!"

The two pokemon released themselves from their containment and leaped into the hug to create a group hug. His grandfather chuckled.

A trainer and his pokemon.

Love.

"Well, I'm gonna go now. I still need to head to Goldenrod! See you around, Damion." His grandfather firmly shook his hand and released his Pidgeot, they both took off into the sun-setting sky. Damion continued to smile,

"I'm sorry. I've been pushing you all too hard, you Taro...I've been wanting you to evolve. Truth is, I just wanted a strong pokemon. But I now know you're the strongest pokemon I have, and I'll ever need. Hoot, I'm sorry I didn't call you back. You almost died, because of me." The trainer apoligized and his pokemon forgave him, he recalled his pokemon after giving them a healthy snack of mushrooms that he found.

He walked down the hill that he did that same morning, only this time he was more injured. Damion's silent walk was interruped by shrill shreaks, Damion shot his head around in the chaos to see what was going on.

The boy turned as he saw a couple of Dex Holders run off into the west, Damion looked up to see five trainers. Damion cocked his head as he saw a man hauled over one of their shoulder, the man had green hair and a long bug catching net tied to his belt.

"Bugsy?!" Damion shouted.

Charizard_Man: Wow good post very impressed with the emotion you seem to put into it! XD... Anyways Hoot grew to lvl 24! Sprink grew to lvl 24! Also what move did Taro learna and what shall I replace it with?

"Fantastic!" Kaitlyn noticed the Rocket grunts were smirking at them and the Scientist that was far in the back spoke up "A group of young trainers, to test the latest additions to the machine on!" he sounded too happy for Kaitlyn's taste and she watched as each of the grunt's pulled out their Pokéballs and release them, a grunt with an odd looking Crobat stepped up to her "You ready to lose kid?"

Kaitlyn snarled back "And you ready to eat those words bastard?" the grunt scowled and Kaitlyn stared at the Crobat thoughtfully, wondering who she should choose for this battle. "Stitch and Serena would be great for this battle, but Stitch might fare better, since she doesn't really have much weakness and the poison wont affect her much… but Serena is better for the air…"

[PokeCommunity.com] The Johto Leagues Fate
Crobat
The Bat Pokémon
Over the course of evolution, its hind legs turned into wings. By alternately resting its front and rear wings, it can fly all day without having to stop.

"Pi! Pichu!" Sho jumped up and Kaitlyn blinked out of her thoughts "What's that Sho?" the Pichu pointed to the Crobat and puffed out his chest, cheeks sparking dangerously "Pichu! Pichu!" Kaitlyn's eyes widened "You wanna fight this guy?" Sho nodded and clenched his fists determined, he was the weakest on the team, he wanted to prove himself, show Kaitlyn he could be strong like the others and not hold them back "Pichu."

"I… I guess, if you want to…" she looked at the Pichu worriedly and then glanced at Crobat, who was sneering down at them from high in the sky, her little guy, going up against that big thing "But… I don't know………" she trailed off unsurely "Pichu! Pichu! Pi! Pichu! Chu!" Sho gritted his teeth and glared at the Crobat and Kaitlyn gave a small shaky smile "A-Alright Sho, get in there" Sho grinned and nodded, before he ran onto the field happily "P-Pichu!"

Only to get the wind knocked out of him seconds' later by a brutal Wing Attack from Crobat "Sho! You bastard, that was a low blow!" Kaitlyn stared with wide eyes at her Pichu, who had been knocked several feet away due to the Wing Attack "P-Piiichu!" Sho groaned and rolled over, panting softly before lifting himself on his feet he glared at the Crobat, with his teeth bared "You alright Sho?" the Pichu nodded and ran at Crobat "Thunder Shock!" Sho nodded and his cheeks sparked, then a bolt of lightning was soon fired at the airborne Crobat, who cried out briefly, before shaking it off and glaring at Sho.

"Hn. Use Air Slash Crobat, dice that puny Pichu to ribbons" Crobat gave a sharp "Cro" and the a small white ball of energy began to form, then it flapped its wings once and the ball shot at Sho, splitting into several streams of razor sharp wind "Thunder Wave!!" Sho quickly bounced into action and fired a bolt of negative energy at Crobat, which miraculously cut through the Air Slash and struck Crobat, causing the bat to tense up as all its limbs locked up "Now Follow up with Sweet Kiss and Thunder Shock!"

Sho kissed his hands and allowed several pink hearts to fly out towards Crobat, but not before he charged them electrically with Thunder Shock, a yellow outline surrounded the hearts and every time one of the hearts hit Crobat, he'd suffer from a light but effective jolt and eventually after the combined attacks had stopped, Crobat came out looking extremely confused "Grr Crobat use Wing Attack!"

Crobat hissed and nodded before fluttering at high speeds towards Sho with its glowing wing's and just when it was about to hit and Kaitlyn was going to yell at Sho to dodge, paralysis kicked in and Crobat froze, a couple inches away from Sho, who breathed a sigh of relief "Ohh Sho, hop on his back!" the Pichu nodded and climbed onto the Crobat, who was twitching from the paralysis "Now use Thunder Shock!"

"Piiiichuuuuuu"

Sho let loose a stream of electricity, that engulfed the Crobat from behind, that attack must've been super effective, because Sho's Thunder Shock seemed a bit more stronger than usual. Crobat cried out in pain as electricity coursed through its body, it twitched twice, before giving another strangled cry, then it's eyes rolled up into its head and it fainted "Cororooooo" it groaned with swirly eyes and it laid on the cavern floor, then like Slowpoke, it glowed white then it reverted back to a normal colored Zubat and the grunt recalled it "Pi…Chu. Pi…Chu" Sho was panting, that last attack took a lot out of him "Haha! Way to go Sho!!" Sho gave a weak wave and a smile at Kaitlyn.

"Damn kid" the grunt murmured before running away, she noticed the other grunt's turned tail and ran as well "Ha! What a bunch of punks" she snickered and walked towards Sho, bending down to give the Pichu an affectionate pat on the head "great job buddy" Sho smiled tiredly "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" cackled the scientist insanely and Kaitlyn stared at the man questioningly, her eyes widening when he pulled out a gun and aimed it at Sho, shooting the Pichu, who gasped and flew back several feet, twitching and writing on the ground in pain "SHO!!" Kaitlyn exclaimed, but Sho just continued to write and let out a loud and eerily familiar shriek that echoed through the cave.

THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT CHAPTERS BELOW, THE FIRST ONE IS FOR THE DEX HOLDERS, AND THE SECOND IS FOR TSUKUYOMI!
Chapter 11
The Waiting is The Hardest Part!
POST 1 (FREE POST)
The last few weeks have been really rough on you and your pokemon.. But you have always found ways to prevail… Whether it has just been pure luck or the help of Elm and others, you get the feeling someone or something else has been watching out for you since you started your journey.

After successfully defeating the revived Team Rocket you and your team have waited in Azelea town for the call from Prof. Elm.. All of you sit within the pokemon center wondering if Bugsy is ok. The towns people have all but calmed down they have notified the local police force but none of them dare enter the Ilex forest… Since trainers have been notified as going in and never coming out, it has basically been put under "no entrance". Many of you want to just rush in and save him but you remember the words Elm has told you "When you get to the Ilex forest wait for my call, it is to dangerous to enter the forest now" Those words have echoed through your head since the beginning of your journey.. People have gone in but never come out… What is going on within the Ilex Forest? You decide it is no use to just sit around and wait for the call so you decide to explore the town and what not.

This is a free post you can do anything within the town!

POST 2 (THE CALL)
The day starts to wind down before you finally hear your phone ringing and on the other line is none other then Prof. Elm..

"Ahh it is good to hear from you" he says in a semi-weird voice.. right away you can tell something isn't right..

"I just wanted to call you and tell you that it is about time you enter the Ilex forest, I have analyzed the situation and it seems to be alright to enter, I need to call the others so goodbye..…." He says before he whispers something at the very end "I'm sorry…." But you can barley make it out and almost think your hearing things.. Anyway you decide it is time to enter. As you make your way to the entrance you feel a tingling sensation in your head, and a you see a picture of a shrine appear and in front of it is Bugsy lying there unconscious.…

Entering the forest something seems off.. From the outside it looks just like any other forest full of life, and sun etc… But on the inside.. it is full of darkness, the plants and grass are dead, most of the normal pokemon have migrated from the area, and it seems really hard to breathe like the air is thick for some reason. You decide it best to keep moving and make your way out as quick as possible.. (You can chose to catch a wild pokemon or battle one as always..)

Chapter 11 For TSukuyomi
Wrong place and the Wrong time
Post 1
Since you are not one of Elm's dex holders you have are not waiting to receive the call from Elm like the others, instead after Bugsy is being taken away you are the first to reach the Ilex forest but as you are about to enter a member of the Local Police Force stops you.

"I'm sorry Kid but I can't allow you to enter the forest…. We have a team investigating the incident currently and it would not be in our best intrest to send another young trainer in there…" He says as he signals for you to walk away..

You decide to persuade him, you tell him that if you can beat him in a pokemon battle that you should be strong enough to enter a forest. He ponders this for a few minutes before finally agreeing to the terms. He then calls out his first pokemon and awaits your's.

Kenneth watched the men in black before him and the other Dex Holders. They didn't seem to be related to the cloaked trainers, but they definitely weren't up to any good. The grunts turned to face the gang as did the man in the white cloak. He fixed his glasses and shot a creepy smile at them.

"Well well, what do you have here? A bunch of trainers for us test out the new additions of the machine on! Perfect!" He held up a small blue gun and rubbed the side of it before looking back at the trainers. He shot his free palm forward at them. "Grunts, attack!"

The grunts jumped at the call and rushed each trainer. Kenneth's eyes twitched as he came face to face with one of them. The man before him was taller than him and had a large toothy grin on his face. Dark red hair stuck out from under his hat and reached over his green eyes almost hiding them from view. In his hand was a black and red pokeball with a large red R printed on the top.

"Heh, bad timing. Now you've got to get a taste, of Team Rocket's Revival!" He tossed the pokeball into the air. In a flash a large rat pokemon appeared in front of Kenneth. Its hair was red almost as dark as the R Grunt's with peach-white hair underneath and a long hairless tail wagged behind it. It bared it fangs at him gave an angry squeak as it stood up on its hind legs.

Raticate
The Mouse Pokemon
It uses its whiskers to maintain its balance. It apparently slows down if they are cut off.
'Odd, it's a different color than the picture of it in the Pokedex, just like that Slowbro.' Kenneth reached for Miles pokeball and pulled it from his belt. He called out the Luxio, who gave a bark once he appeared. He glanced over his shoulder to Kenneth and back to the Raticate.

"Sucker punch!"

"Leer!" Miles stood his ground as the Raticate rushed at him baring its fangs. They made eye contact and Raticate lost its balance a little and ended up biting the air just beside Miles right leg. Miles jumped to the side putting distance between him and the large mouse pokemon. Raticate stood up and shook its head.

"Quick attack!" Raticate ran at Mils again, getting faster and faster with each step making a trail of white. His disappeared for a second and then reappeared right in front of Miles and slammed into him. He gave a short cry and rolled backwards.

"Get up and use bite!"

"Humph, super fang!" The two charged closing the distance between them rather quickly. Raticate's fangs began to glow white and it lunged at Miles. "Lower yourself to the ground and use that bite on its leg." Miles ducked and reached out, snapping his teeth down on the Raticate's leg. It shrieked and brought its large fangs down on Miles' side causing him to scream out in pain.

"Super fang again."

"Spark!" Raticate bit down on Miles leg resulting in a yelp from the Luxio. He shook his leg before sending electricity through his body, shocking the mouse. It released its bite and stood back paralyzed. Small bolts sparked out its body every time it tried to move. Miles stayed on the ground for a second longer, wincing from the pain of the bites. He slowly rose to his feet and faced off the Raticate once again.

"Okay, bite!" Miles growled and limped his way over to the Raticate and bit down on its side. A wail echoed throughout the cave and its teeth glow white again. Before it could bite down on the blue and black cub, he was surrounded in a red light and sucked back into his pokeball.

"Good job, but you deserve a break." He grabbed another pokeball. "It's your turn Lily!" He called out releasing the tadpole pokemon. Lily gave a big yawn as she appeared and looked around. "Poli!" She glanced at Kenneth and then turned to see the paralyzed Raticate. "Let's start out with a water gun!"

"Quick attack!" Raticate started to move once again, but after a few steps found it unable to move again. Lily took the moment to her advantage and shot a powerful blast of water at the mouse knocking it back. "Now finish him off with body slam!" Lily ran at the Raticate and jumped onto it using her full body weight to mush it underneath her. Unable to take anymore the Raticate gave one last cry and passed out. Its body glowed white and shrunk returning back to its normal, a Rattata. Like the Shellder and Slowpoke from earlier it still retained an unusual color.

"Darn, I lost." The grunt grumbled as he turned to look back at the scientist. He scowled then recalled his rattata and ran pass Kenneth, shoving the boy out of the way. Kenneth was about to yell after him when he heard laughing. He turned his attention to the scientist and watched as the man laughed his head off. He held the blue gun in his hand, but Kenneth noticed something a bit different about it this time. There was a small button glowing on the side that wasn't before. 'This isn't good. That man's got something up his sleeve.' Kenneth climbed to his feet. 'I better put him to sleep just in case.'

"Lily…" A loud whining noise echoed throughout the cave, the same whining noise that had brought them all into the cave. The sound was being produced by the gun and as soon as the pokemon heard it, something began to happen to them. Kenneth watched, shock as the other Dex Holders' pokemon began to change. He looked over at Lily and saw that she too was changing.

There was a faint glow around her that got flashed brighter and brighter each second. She grew bigger and bigger and began to sprout arms her tail disappeared. She then began to grow even more and became more muscular and her skin changed from a dark blue to green. In a final flash she raised her arms and let out a call.

"Poliwrath!" Kenneth was speechless. Before him stood a rather large and intimidating pokemon that was once his Lily. She stared at him with what appeared to be a scowl on her face. She took a step closer to him growling yet his didn't move. He was frozen in place, trying to comprehend what had happen, yet still lost. 'She…she evolved! But into a Poliwrath! How is that possible, pokemon can't double evolve and even if she could…there wasn't a water stone around here?' He finally realized that she was coming closer, but he didn't move.

"Lily?" She gave an insane cry and lunged Kenneth her fist glowing light blue. The boy's eyes widen and he ducked under the punch and rolled to the side. Lily's fist connected with the wall, the pure force causing stalagmites to fall and freezing the part of the wall that she had punched. 'I...ic…ice punch?' He faced her and readied himself for her next attack while calling out to her.

"Lily, come on! It's me, Kenneth. Don't you remember?" She growled again. A ball of mud formed in her hand and she threw it at Kenneth. He rolled to the left narrowly evading the attack, but didn't have enough time to react as a ball of water, with a wave following it collided with his chest knocking him back. He landed on his back and gave a cry as a sharp rock pierced into his side. 'Mud bomb and water pulse too! But when?!?' He groaned as he sat up and looked at Lily. She was coming, but he wasn't going to run. He reached for two pokeballs and called out Miles and Lia.

The two appeared in front of him ready to face their leader. They had seen everything that had happen from within their pokeballs and were very concern.

"Lux...lux…luxio!!!" Miles called out. Lia called out as well and Lily seemed taken aback. She growled and her gloved hand began to glow white. Miles barked and Lia ran over to Kenneth to help him up. He gave a grunt of pain as he got to his feet. Blood poured from the wound on his side but he walked forward, ignoring it.

"Lily, please you've got to stop this. Don't you remember who we are?" Her glove stopped glowing and she took a step back holding her head. She began to shake it and cried out in pain. Lia ran back to Miles side and said something to him. He looked over at Kenneth and noticed the wound on his side. He seemed a bit sad but a roar turned his attention back to Lily. She was running at them with her fist glowing white again. 'Wait a second…isn't that…DynamicPunch?'

Lily threw her punch at the spot between Miles and Lia, meaning to take them both out with a single blow. However, her evolution that had come in a great increase of power took a toll on her speed. Miles and Lia were both fast enough to dodge her attack and started one of their own. There was a large hole left at the spot where they were once standing and Lily stood up straight glancing back between the two.

"No! Don't attack!" They stopped and looked at the boy. He was breathing heavily, holding his side. He took a step forward, determined not to fight. Lily was his 'starter' the pokemon that had been with him ever since he began his journey and to Miles and Lia, she was their leader. Though they were ready to fight, he could tell that they felt uncomfortable facing her like this. Not only that but with moves like ice punch and mud bomb, all three knew that a battle against her would fail.

"Lily…we're your friends…" The large tadpole-like pokemon blinked and took a step back. Her eyes seemed to return to their normal color before flashing red again. She gave a howl and brought her arms up again ready to attack Kenneth. Miles jumped in front of him and barked loudly. He was angry and yelled at Lily with a rage that could rival Kenneth's anger when he witnessed Falkner's death.

Lia stood to the side, baffled and Lily herself lowered her arms her eyes wide with shock. Whatever Miles was saying was getting to her as her eyes reverted back to their normal color and she began to glow again. Her body shrunk and her arms began to sink back into her body and a tail began to develop. Soon she stood as a normal Poliwag again, color and all.

Kenneth gave a weak laughed and rushed forward pulling her, Miles and Lia into a giant group hug. His eyes burned, threatening to tear up, but he did his best to hold them back. They didn't need to share any words; both the trainer and his pokemon felt the same thing so talking would just be a waste of breath. After a few minutes Kenneth released his grip on them, turning his attention to his side. He reached into his backpack and brought out a small box and the bag of fungus.

He passed the fungus to his pokemon for them to heal with and while they ate them he opened the small box. It was a first aid kit. He took a small cloth and wet it with the little can of water that was let in his canteen. He used it to clean out the wound on his side and then wrapped the bandages around his waist making sure that they were tight. He finished off by wrapping athletic tape around it.

"Okay, ready to go?" He said a little weak. The pokemon gave him a concern look, but none-the-less they were ready to leave the cave. He recalled them and made his way out of the cave. The walk was silent, unlike the walk in and when he finally got it he was surprised to see that not much time had passed. It was still light out, though the sun was begging to go down.

He took his time getting back to town, but what he thought was going to be a time of piece and relaxation turned out to be the opposite. Once in town he was greeted with a scene that reminded him of what happened in Violet City. The residents of Azalea were running around screaming their heads off in chaos. Through all the commotion he spotted 5 trainers walking into the forest and slung over the shoulder of one of them was a man with oddly familiar green hair. Bugsy.

"No! Not this time! You guys are MINE!!!" He yelled, now seething with anger. He took off running after the trainers, holding his side. 'They're not getting away with a fellow Gym Leader, not again!'

(It's a two in one deal =D, but it sucks...D=)

Kerjo: Sweet post! Miles grew to lvl 23! Miles wants to learn roar, delete a move to make room? Lily grew to lvl 25! Lily wants to learn bubblebeam delete a move to make room? Lily wants to evolve will you allow it?Also what move would you like Lily to learn? and replace it with what? and your keeping it normal colored I guess?

Once again the day after was an unpleasant one, but this one was easier than Falkner's. There was no doubt what was going on. It was them again for sure. Liliana wondered if they were going to close the gyms now, but there wasn't a lot of hope for that one. She was sure they'd want to keep it going no matter what. She wanted to go in there to find out exactly what was going on, but she knew she couldn't. Elm made them all promise, and there hadn't been a call. She knew because she kept checking her cell non-stop.

She was up very early and just strolling the streets of the city. She ate some and spend the rest of her time in the park that had become her favorite hangout spot. When she did return to the Center she spotted Sahib talking on the phone with someone. She couldn't see who it was and he hung up right as she came close.

"So, what was that all about?" she asked curiously. To her surprise he didn't comment on her prying. "Just talk to my father," was his reply. "I sent him this hunk of amber thing that I had no clue what it was."

"Did you by any chance find it at the well?" She asked, thinking back of the metal contraption that was in her little bag right now. He confirmed what she expected. "Did you get something too?" He looked at her bags, or she assumed he was. He had better be.

She retrieved the little metal thing. "This, I'm not entirely sure what it is besides that it is incredibly light for a metal thing," she turned it around, looking at every side. It was simply round and.. well… metallic.

Sahib looked at the object for a second. "Do you think it's one of those.. Metal Shrouds-Coat! Metal coat? Maybe it's one of those, do you think you'll ever use it?" She thought about this for a second. Metal Coat, what did it do exactly? Didn't it evolve a Pokémon?

"I don't know, I can't remember which Pokémon respond to it. But we must have found these objects for a reason, right?" She wondered what he had seen. Had he even seen something? Like the memory of hers? "Say.. Did you ever.. uhm.. see anything strange at that well?" Now that it was out she felt incredibly stupid. Who would ask that? "Never mind, it's probably nothing."

He didn't listen to her never mind however. "I know what you're talking about." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, like the topic was making him uncomfortable. Or whatever it was he wasn't all to happy to think about it again. "Like… a memory right? Only it wasn't exactly a memory. You were watching it." Pause. "Like a crappy movie that was set in the past to freak you out."

She laughed nervously. "I guess that means that I'm not going crazy. Yeah like.. that." She quickly changed the subject, she didn't want to talk about it right now. "You know, we have yet to make you laugh." She smiled weakly, hoping the bad attempt to switch subjects would go unnoticed. Good thing he seemed almost happy with the change.

"And you never will, short freak." Yeah right, she would. She would definitely make him laugh "So, what now?" the question took her by surprise a bit. She hadn't really thought of anything. "Well.." she started. "I guess we could, I don't know, see the town for a little bit. We have to wait anyway, assuming your cell is as dead as mine."

Sahib seemed to have his own plans. "This is odd.. But I do need some new shirts. That's really what I was planning on doing. You could tag along.. if you want?" Oh what the heck, it's not like I have anything better to do anyway, she thought. "Sure, why not. Ripped out of all your other shirts haven't you, superman?" she said teasingly as she elbowed him in the rib.

He rolled his eyes. "Oh yes, I turned into one of those giant wolf things like in that funky book you girls like to read. What's it called again? Dawn? Midnight.. something. And no elbowing, I'm fragile." He lifted up his shirt and pointed at the bandage. "Now c'mon you slowpoke."

"Wow there mister, it would be much appreciated if you would keep your shirt on, thank you very much. And I thought you male species were supposed to be tough. You're not the only one with injuries you know!" She rolled her eyes, her left arm was still bruised from the previous day, and her ankle didn't feel so hot either. He was not the only injured one. But she followed him out of the Center. Also, out of the goodness of her heart, she let the Twlight remark slide. That book wasn't even good to use as fuel for fire. It would probably die out of shame.

He just smirked at her. "Okay, so you're fragile too." She laughed and responded. "Thank you for acknowledging." And then she short him a grin of her own. "I didn't see.." he continued on a different subject as they approached a shopping market. "Which one of your Pokémon got hit?" She hadn't seen his Pokémon either, had been too preoccupied with her own problem. "Abu, of course it would be the one I had for the least amount of time. Yours?"

"Quil-" He stopped in his tracks, apparently thinking about something. She could have sworn she saw him go a bit pinkish as he looked around before finding a Poke that had been following them. A Quilava. "That one. I think I forgot to recall it." He admitted it with a hint of shame in his voice as he did so. This made Liliana giggle. And not a whole lot can make her do so. He changed the subject. "Anything special about… Abu?"

"You mean like how Quilave seems to be shiny now? No, Abu changed back to exactly how he was. Except, I think one of the moves might have lingered. I saw him in my room practicing with fire, which was one of the moves he seemed to have unexplainably gained in his.. altered form. Fire punch." She explained to him. Without even noticing they had arrived at a clothing shop. "Well here we are I guess, go ahead shopaholic." She said smiling.

"I'm not a shopaholic! I just need some shirts," Sahib said all defensively. Lili couldn't help thinking it was kind of cute the way he got all defensive over being called a shopaholic. He got defensive about a lot. "And I find it pretty amusing to think of that playful little monkey with a fire attack. Think of it burning down your bed in the middle of the night." He grinned once again. Didn't that guy ever do anything other than smiling or grinning? Such as an actual laugh?

He walked over to a selection of black shirts. They were much similar to the black shirt he was wearing now. She looked over at him questioningly but he misunderstood her look. "What?! I do have a shirt preference. Softer clothes are so much better."

"We need to get you away from the black clothing!" She decided as she grabbed his hand and tugged him toward a section with more colourful clothing. On the sight of them Sahib's eyes widened. "No! Those are bright.. and… and.. You must be insane girl!" But she wouldn't let go of his hand, he was getting something other than emo clothing, even if that meant he would regret inviting her along.

"No! You are not leaving until you got at least one shirt that's not black! You're not emo or goth so why would you wear black all the time? Just no." She decided as she went through the rack with one hand. She held up a white t-shirt with orange decoration on it. "I am not emo!" He stated. "I just have a preference for black. It looks better any-" He finally noticed the shirt she was holding. "Ew! What is that on the front?! Orange."

"Well I'm glad you're not colour blind!" Liliana snapped. He seemed to give up. "You know what? You can get one shirt. Then I can get what I want okay?" She nodded before goind through all of the racks. He had darker skin, so white wouldn't look all too good on him anyway. All the things they had here were too bright for him. In the end she gave up and pulled a shirt from the rack. It was striped vertically with small grey and black stripes and it was button up. "There, my choice." She said with a sigh. At least it was dark.

He looked at it for a moment before apparently deciding it was good enough for him. "Well, alright." His tone was almost like he didn't want to like it. It made her giggle a bit again, boys were so strange. Finally he admitted. "I guess it looks nice." That was really all she was getting, but it was enough for her. He grabbed a couple of his own black shirts, too. "Well, I think this is good. Anything you want to get?"

She nodded before grabbing a dark pair of skinny jeans and a white button-up blouse. After the day before she wanted to at least have something to cover her arms. The fabric was light so it wouldn't do a lot of good for warmth, but she wouldn't need something too thick anyway. "This is fine, let's go pay and get out of here," she walked up to the register where a woman looked quite bored.

"That woman looks like she is about to die of boredom. You know I don't think this town virtually gets any action." She elbowed him in the arm, being weary of his wound. "Hush! That's rude!" They both paid at the counted of the bored lady. Hearing her speak did not inspire a whole lot of enthusiasm either.

When they went outside she noticed someone running up. The shopping center was almost against the forest and that was where the guy was running from. He ran up to Liliana and tossed her a white and red ball. "Please take this I beg you!" Liliana blinked, say what? "Why, what's wrong?" she asked. The guy seemed to be a bit panicked. "It's cursed I tell you! Anything coming from that forest is not right! Take it please, I don't want it anymore."

Liliana assumed it was because of the Bugsy thing. She had no idea that she was only partly right and things were not as they seemed. "Sure, are you certain? Do you want to trade?" He was panting as if he'd been running away from something. "NO! I just want to get rid of it!" With that he ran away from them and toward the Center. Count on Sahib to provide the commentary.

"well , there's some excitement for you." He grabbed the Poké ball from her hand and released it. The Pokémon was purple and pink and floating in the air. "Hey, what do you know? It's a Misdreavous." At the sight of the ghost Liliana's entire body stiffened. She backed away from it, bumping against Sahib as she did so, since he was standing a bit behind her. She muttered a sorry very softly. The Misdreavous just looked at her and said a friendly hello in its own way.

She half expected him to poke fun of her, but instead he almost sounded worried. "Are you alright? It's not going to hurt you, you know. See, it even sais hello so it must be friendly." Lili didn't answer but she grabbed the ball that was still in his hand and quickly recalled the Pokémon.

"You have it!" She shoved the ball in his hands. She didn't want that thing anywhere near her! He seemed taken aback by this. "What? But.." He looked at the ball for a while before deciding what to do. "Oh, don't be a sissy! Here," he gave it back to her, but she once again pushed it back in his hands. "I said, I don't want it!" She turned her back to him and tried to get herself back together. It's just a Pokémon. Sahib could keep it, she didn't know why he objected so much. It was an easy addition to his team. What did he care? She didn't want the thing near her. Not ever.

But he wasn't giving up. "C'mon what's wrong with it? Truthfully I'd never use it. You could though." Sahib didn't seem all too certain of what he was doing, but he was trying. "Really, though, it's just a little ghost. It seems to like you, too."

She turned around angrily. "That's the problem! I don't need a ghost, they're pretty much useless. Just drop it okay?" He looked at her for a second before deciding to listen to her. "Alright, fine. I might as well release it anyway. You can come if you want I'm just going over by those trees." He didn't wait for her but just walked off.

She didn't want to follow, but she had to admit that she had snapped at Sahib had was feeling a bit bad about it. So she followed him reluctantly. The moment the Misdreavous was released it floated around seemingly happy to be out of its confinement. Liliana froze up again and just stared at it in horror. Sahib looked a bit confused but he decided on something to try. "Well, Misdreavous. I'm going to release you now." That thought seemed to panic Mistdreavous. It shook its head rapidly, and Liliana could swear she could see tears. Pity seemed to be welling up in her but she pushed it down. This was a ghost!

The ghost flew over to Liliana, just staring with its big eyes. Liliana was still frozen. Then she backed up rapidly to get away from the Pokémon. She swallowed hard. "F-fine." She had difficulty just saying that. But she doubted the thing would leave her alone anyway. And there was still that feeling of guilt. "I'll.. Keep it." She glared at the Pokémon before taking one more step back.

Thankfully Sahib returned the ghost into its Ball. "Lili.." he began. She briefly noticed that this might very well be the first time he called her by her nickname. "You know, I really do think it likes you. You'll make a great partner for it. Plus, it might help you overcome your… ghost issues." She sighed when he mentioned her fear, but she wasn't offended. "You can always box it if you don't want it around you.

"I guess. Thanks," she began "For helping me with this and not making fun of me." She smiled weakly before taking the ball from him. "Been quite the day, huh?" He shrugged. "I can make fun of you anytime.

"Ah, well, I tried." She laughed. He agreed the day was definitely an odd one. "Well, I need to wait for a call from my dad. He said he was getting the amber thing.. uhm.. diagnosed. So.. is this it then?" She nodded. "I guess it is. It was a good day, now to wait for that phone call so we can leave this place. I'll most likely see you around. You know, maybe we should meet up when we've finally travelled the Ilex forest?" She suggested.

He nodded. "That'll be good, any specific place where?" She had to think about that. "How about the Pokémon Center in Goldenrod? We'll wait for the other there, see who gets through first." She grinned. He laughed. Laughed. "Yeah, I'll see you when you finally get there." She stared at him in surprise. Then, as if he wanted to surprise her even more, he winked at her before walking away. She was glad he did so he wouldn't see that she was blushing a bit. Get yourself together, stupid, she told herself. It was already late in the afternoon. She got her and her Pokémon some food. Well except for Misdreavous. She was not yet ready to see it.

In the end she retreated to her room in the Center wondering when she'd be able to leave this place anyway…

Hmm, I wonder why those guys are taking Bugsy into the forest, it's dark in there. Meh, I bet they're cult fanatics, Lucas wondered as he passed through the building into the forest with a small smirk on his face. A light tap on his side by Krad alerted him to the presence of a man dressed in blue. A cop, it looked like.

"I'm sorry kid, but I can't allow you to enter the forest… We have a team investigating the incident currently. It wouldn't be in our best interest to send another young trainer in there…", the man said, motioning for Lucas and Krad to "vacate the vicinity", as authority figures like to call it. Lucas was just about to protest, when a better idea came to mind.

"How's this, this team you are sending in...They must be pretty strong, or else you would've given them the same response. And since you said another young trainer, it's obvious this team is my age. So, here's my proposition, if I can beat you in a pokemon battle, you'll let me pass! Is it a deal?", Lucas said with conviction, while pointing to Krad, grinning. It was clear Lucas wasn't going to take no for an answer, and the man soon realized it.

"Alright, I'll take you up on that, son", the man said, grabbing a pokeball from his belt, leaving two others alone. So, he has three pokemon total, it'll be an even 3 on 3 match, Lucas thought quickly. As the man raised the pokeball over his head, the flash originating from the ball signalled the coming of his first pokemon.

"Primeape, Primeape, Primeape!", the pokemon chanted repeatedly, it looked like it was psyching itself up for the battle, if those boxing gloves are any indication, this is a fighting type pokemon, Lucas grinned. His choice should give him the advantage. Throwing a pokeball into the air, Lucas watched as Lavitz entered the fray, displaying his gold headfeathers proudly. Trainer and pokemon shared a smirk as the cop gawked at Lavitz. As Lavitz flew in a circle overhead, Primeape hopped all over, punching the air repeatedly. These two have fighting spirit, that's for sure, should be an even better match than I thought. While Lucas was temporarily distracted, the Primeape decided it was a good time to attack, and did precisely that. Jumping into the air above Lavitz, Primeape came hurdling down for a Low Kick.

"Lavitz, get outta the way with Quick Attack! Then follow up with Sand Attack, go!", Lucas ordered quickly. A trail of white light followed the golden bird as he flew away from the opponent with frightening speed, only to turn around and whip the ground with a wing, removing Primeape's eyesight from the equation. It stumbled around blindly for a few moments, before swinging randomly in a rage. Ultimately, his trainer was forced to temporarily recall him, opting to send in a new pokemon, a Growlithe. He switches, I switch as well, Spade can handle this one. As Lavitz disappeared back inside his ball, a Phanpy took his spot. "Spade, Defense Curl then Rollout!", Lucas ordered. As Spade received the orders, he curled into a ball, then began spinning in place, until it seemed he couldn't hold himself in place any longer, and launched himself towards the Growlithe. At the order of his trainer, the puppy pokemon charged at Spade with a Flame Wheel, and when the two collided, it was effectively a bicycle/train collision, and Spade just powered through the Flame Wheel, causing Growlithe to crash to the ground in pain.

"Growlithe, get up and Bite that Phanpy!", the cop called.

"Spade, keep that Rollout moving!", Lucas yelled, confident that the Growlithe stood no chance, as Rollout gets stronger with each passing second. By now, Spade was merely a blur, circling the poor fire-type quickly, before redirecting his course and rolling straight into Growlithe, sending it flying once more. Growlithe was helpless to fight back against the mighty Rollout attack, although Lucas hardly considered this to be fair, so called for a Take Down instead.

"Grr, Growlithe you can get it now! Full power Flamewheel!", the man yelled, desperate for results. The fire-type spat fire from it's mouth, encircling it, though this time there was a bit of blue at the tips of the fire, and it charged towards Phanpy, it looked like this would be it's last stand. Picking up speed, the Growlithe smashed headfirst into Spade, although the previous momentum from the Rollout helped to push the collision in Lucas's favor, though only slightly. As the small dog was thrown to the ground, it was clear that there was no more fight left in it, although Spade was hardly left uninjured. The flames from the attack had caught onto the small ground-type, and in several places there was fire burning intensely. "Growlithe, you did great. That Phanpy is burned now, it hasn't got a chance against out next choice!", the man said as he recalled his fainted pokemon.

As Lucas watched the man recall his pokemon, he redirected his gaze to his own pokemon. Spade was breathing hard, and coupled with the several burns he had sustained, it was clear that he wasn't the right choice for fighting a new pokemon. "Krad, you're in. Spade, come back!", he called as he returned the tired pokemon. Krad hopped into the battle area from his trainers' side. The cop smirked as he revealed his third pokemon, an Ariados. Craaap...

Krad merely stared at the Ariados, eventually unnerving it, releasing an unexpected Night Shade attack, which was easily evaded due to Krad's superior speed. Krad resumed staring, although Ariados didn't look this time, content with staring the opposite way, waiting for instructions from his trainer.

"Haha, good work, Krad! Now that it isn't looking, go for a Quick Attack!", Lucas ordered, giggling quietly at the Ariados's reactions. The cop, however, wasn't as amused as Lucas, ordering a Leech Life. Ariados was reluctant to have to face Krad again, but as it turns out, he didn't quite get the chance to, as Krad had shoulderchecked the poor bug into a nearby tree. It looked like pain was all the convincing the Ariados needed to look Krad in the eye, and before Lucas could utter a word, Ariados had latched onto Krad's arm, and had started sucking the energy from his body. "Krad! Use Leaf Blade, get that Ariados away from you!",Lucas cried out frantically, it was looking bad for Krad already. Krad had other plans, however. As the leaves on his arms formed into light green blades, the blade on the arm with Ariados attached slashed his mouth, leaving a deep cut, Leech Life wasn't going to be a problem anymore, although Lucas couldn't help but feel sorry for the bug. And as Ariados released its' grip on Krad's arm, the Grovyle pounded it repeatedly with the blades on his forearms, until the cop ordered a Shadow Sneak. Ariados became a blur of red for just an instant, and reappeared behind Krad!

"Now, Constrict, then Night Shade!", Ariados crawled onto Krad's back, and locked it's long longs around him, making movement impossible. Then the horn atop the bugs' head glowed a deep purple, and Night Shade after Night Shade connected with the immobilized pokemon.

"Dammit, I hate using this move, but whatever! Screech, Krad!", Krad looked just as annoyed as Lucas did, but reluctantly opened his mouth and emitted a high pitched screech. Both Lucas and the cop held their ears in pain, while Krad advanced on the crippled Ariados, who could do nothing but retreat from the powerful Screech being directed at it. If it had had ears, they would've probably been bleeding by now. However, the Screech was cut off short as Krad fell to his knee, and the Ariados was crippled, lying on the ground in a heap, struggling to regain it's footing. Soon after regaining it's footing, it's horn once again began to glow, Night Shade. Krad responded to this by reshaping his arm leaves into blades once more, then slashed through the incoming Night Shade, eventually reaching Ariados, and slamming it back into yet another tree, though the bug didn't get up this time. Krad had become too tired to celebrate the win, and fell to his knees, then the ground. Krad had exhausted himself thoroughly. Lucas made the decision to let Krad rest for the rest of the match, and Krad returned to his pokeball. That was a good round Krad, you beat him, even with that disadvantage you had...

"Ahh, that was a good one, Ariados. Primeape, you're up!", the man said confidently. Primeape reappeared in a burst of light, and to Lucas's dismay, it was still as pumped as it was in the beginning of the match, and the sand had been cleared from it's eyes. Let's see. I've only got Spade and Lavitz left. Spade is already pretty tired out, while Lavitz has nearly full health still. I really should go with Lavitz, though I wouldn't want to have to depend on a half beaten pokemon on the off chance that Lavitz should lose...

"Spade, it's your turn again! Take Down!", Lucas threw the Phanpy's pokeball at the ground. and Spade emerged, and immedietely went into a Take Down, burns and all. Primeape, though it may have been bursting with energy, couldn't have been prepared for the speed that Spade charged at it with. And so Spade connected with Primeape, knocking it back a few feet, though it hadn't lost it's footing, like Lucas had hoped, instead bursting with a faint red energy, and unleashing a flurry of punches, which rained down on Spade with no end in sight. Finally, the mighty monkey(haa...) dropped one final punch down on Spade, and conveniently, it happened to be one of the spots where Spade was burned, and although Spade fainted with the last hit, Primeape had badly burned his fist, effectively handicapping it. "Good job, Spade! We can win this, don't feel too bad about your loss! Come back now, and Lavitz! Come out again!", Lucas yelled, he was getting caught up into the battle, at this point, his intelligent side was being overwhelmed by his fiery side, and Lucas was focused whole-heartedly on the battle.

While Spade disappeared in a burst of light, Lavitz made an appearance in nearly the same second, and instantly launched into a Quick Attack at the sight of the Primeape from earlier. The unsuspecting pokemon never had a chance at dodging, although it didn't look too unhappy with being hit. In fact, it looked even more active then it already was. Damn, the effects of Rage! I should've stopped Lavitz to think first! Lucas had realized immedietely that Primeape was just going to get tougher if he kept letting his pokemon pound it like this, but the fire had taken over, and Lucas couldn't comprehend strategy at the moment. So Lavitz just kept pounding the Primeape over and over and over, and at the crazy speeds the Pidgeotto was flying at, the Primeape had little hope for hitting it. Although, as Lavitz began to lose speed, tiring as it was to fly that fast, Primeape had gotten only angrier, faster, and stronger. Before Lavitz knew what had happened, the Primeape was upon him, snatching up the bird like nothing, and hurling him into the ground for a powerful Seismic Toss!

A dust cloud flew up around the bird, and Primeape waited just on the outside edge of the cloud, waiting for an end to the battle.

"Sand Attack!", Lucas yelled, hoping Lavitz was still concious. And sure enough, A glob of dirt found its way into the fighter's eyes, and soon, it was a repeat of the first round. With Primeape swinging around blindly, Lavitz looked to Lucas, who nodded. It looked like trainer and pokemon were on the same wavelength, words were no longer necessary at this stage in the game. The bird flapped his wings violently, whipping up a small tornado, and as it hurdled towards the Primeape, it was obvious that there was no way it was going to be able to move out of the way, much less see what was heading towards it. The Primeape was gradually lifted off the ground, and once realizing it was unable to control it's movement, wiped it's eyes clear. Opening it's eyes for the first time since leaving the ground, it promptly began shuddering uncontrollably, a fear of heights was at play, Lucas suspected. However, Primeape didn't stay in the air too much longer, as the Tornado dissipated, it fell quickly, landing headfirst on the ground. Lavitz shreiked proudly, as the fighter lost conciousness from the many swirls it endured while in the tornado.

The police officer raised the pokeball to eye level, then returned Primeape to the ball after saying one thing, "You may enter"

Lucas could've sworn he saw a smile on his face, but was still too excited from the battle to care too much. He simply recalled Lavitz after thanking it,, and proceeded on his way, into the Ilex Forest.

Dutchesse: Sweet post! Once again I like the interaction between your two characters ahaha... Liliana recieved a lvl16 male Misdreavus!

Throughout the last few weeks, Sahib had seen so much more than he had ever dared to imagine. He never thought that his Pokémon journey would be so scattered with death and darkness, but it was. As Sahib thought about how he and his team (along with the other kids) had managed to win, he wondered if it was sheer luck. Sahib frowned, believing in all truth that it was. He also wondered if there had been outside help, especially considering the item in his hand. Speaking of which, he was going to have his father look into said item.

Sahib leaned his head against the headboard of the bed. He had been waiting in Azelea Town for a while now, waiting for Professor Elm's call. He figured that mostly all of the trainers were in the center, wondering the very same thing he was. Is Bugsy alright? He mused. Sahib didn't want another Falkner to happen. He didn't feel as strongly for Bugsy, but he still didn't believe it was right. Sahib sighed angrily, wishing that he could enter Ilex Forest. The problem is, police officers wouldn't even go in themselves! This angered Sahib, but he figured they had a fairly viable reason. He also knew that he had to wait for Professor Elm to call.

Seeing as so much was happening, Sahib was slowly beginning to get more and more restless. He would continually pace back and forth in his room, debating on what to do. It was a habit he had acquired from his father; pacing. Quilava was watching him, head moving back and forth. Sahib would occasionally glance at his (pretty) shiny Pokémon, and then go back to thinking. It had become slightly hard for Sahib to pace as much as he wanted to, however, because of the wound on his chest. Thanks to Nurse Joy and Chansey, he had recovered very well. There was still a slight twinge when he moved too much though, so running was off the table for at least a few more days.

"I'm going to call my parents!" Sahib exclaimed suddenly. It was so sudden, Quilava looked up with a half scared look on its face. He was truthfully beginning to wonder if his trainer had gone mad.

So Sahib quickly pulled on a red shirt (all of his black ones were officially dead now) and glanced down. I need more shirts, he thought in brief annoyance. Then he looked at Quilava and nodded towards the door. Quilava hopped up and followed Sahib out of his room and to the green computer-phone things. He plopped down and dialed his parents' number. Quilava sat on the floor, looking up at him curiously.

The phone was answered, and on the screen was a picture of his father. He was drinking coffee, sitting in his lab coat. Sahib presumed that he was doing some more research on something.

"Hi, dad!" Sahib said excitedly. More than anything, he really loved talking to his parents.

"Well, what brings this sudden call?" his father questioned in amusement.

Sahib sobered up slightly. "I have some important questions for you," he said. Sahib had a million things he wanted to ask his father, but he decided on what to ask first. "Dad, were you ever…" Sahib frowned, trying to figure out how to voice his question. "In…like…an organization?" he questioned, wording very carefully.

"Like Team Rocket?" his father replied, arching an eyebrow. Sahib glanced down; slightly amazed at how his father could almost read his thoughts even now. "I wasn't. I almost was, but I didn't join in the end." His father's tone was rather cold, like he was remembering something unpleasant.

"M'kay," Sahib replied, deciding to drift away from this topic. He didn't want his father to be angry. "Look!" Sahib said, picking up Quilava. He winced as he felt his stomach twinge, but set Quilava on his lap anyway. "Quilava changed colors."

His father stared at Quilava for a long moment, blinking slowly. "What happened?" his father murmured, seemingly entranced by Quilava's coat.

Sahib wondered how to go about it, and then began to explain what had occurred. He told of all of the events that had happened so far, including Quilava going berserk. His father's eyes narrowed when he heard of the stomach wound, but then his expression smoothed out. Sahib glanced at Quilava and then finally admitted to the hunk of shiny stone had he had found on the ground.

"Hunk of…?"

"This," Sahib said. He held up the amber. His father squinted.

"Do you think you could transfer that to me? I think I have a faint idea what it is," his father responded.

"Really?" Sahib asked.

"Yup. Just use that," his father said, pointing to a green thing attached to the computer, "and send it away. I'll try to call you later tonight and get it back to you."

"Thanks, dad!" Sahib said with a grin. "I'm transporting it now," Sahib said. He pressed a button, and then it disappeared in a flash of light. There was a 'bing' sound, and Sahib watched his father move aside for a moment. He reappeared on the screen holding the hunk of amber. "Oh! Where's mom?" Sahib questioned.

"Oh…she…" his father trailed off, glancing around. "I think she went to go have a good battle in town. You know how…erm—spunky?—she is."

Sahib snickered and nodded.

"Well, I'm going to go examine this now. Take care…and try not to…hurt yourself too much," his father said, eyeing Quilava. Quilava looked down.

"Aw dad, but you got hurt more than I did!" Sahib declared.

"So?" his father questioned. His lips upturned in a smirk and then the screen with black.

Sahib grumbled under his breath and moved away from the phone. He stood up, and then debated on what to do. Suddenly, a voice snapped him from his thoughts.

"So, what was that all about?" Liliana asked curiously.

Sahib blinked, he was slightly startled that she was there. "Talking to my father," Sahib said in a curt reply. "I sent him this hunk of amber thing that I have no clue what it is," Sahib explained, trying to be a bit more friendly. See, he just had to get warmed up. After that, he would be good to talk to. Well, if someone didn't mind getting poked fun at occasionally, of course.

"Did you by any chance find it at the well?" Liliana asked. She appeared as though she had something in mind while bringing this topic up.

"Yeah, I did actually. Did you get something too?" Sahib asked curiously. He peered at the pouch she wore all the time. Sahib didn't realize it, but it probably looked as if he were glancing somewhere rather than her pouch.

Then Liliana nodded and grabbed something out of her pouch. It appeared to be some sort of metal object. Sahib vaguely recognized it, and he struggled to remember what exactly it was. "This, I'm not entirely sure what it is besides that it is incredibly light for a metal thing." Liliana turned it around, looking at every side. She appeared as though she were inspecting it. Sahib noted that it was round, and looked fairly metallic. Liliana had a tiny frown on her face, presumably from wondering what the object was. Sahib suddenly remembered something that might be of some help.

"Do you think it's one of those…metal shrouds—coat! Metal coat?" Sahib questioned, looking at it for a moment. "Maybe it's one of those, do you ever think you'll ever use it?" Sahib questioned curiously. It wasn't like he wanted it himself, he was just curious. Liliana seemed to think for a moment. She looked as though she was thinking about what exactly the item did.

"I don't know, I can't remember which Pokémon respond to it," she admitted. "But we must have found these objects for a reason, right?" Sahib silently agreed with her on that one. "Say…did you ever…uhm…see anything strange at that well?" Liliana asked in a slow way. Her face went a light pink, and she looked embarrassed. "Never mind, it's probably nothing," she said, brushing it off quickly.

No, I think it just might be, Sahib thought, deciding that he would ignore the last sentence. "I know what you're talking about," he admitted. Sahib unconsciously stuffed his hands in his pockets. The topic sort of made him a bit uncomfortable, what with the whole memory thing and all. "Like…a memory, right? Only it wasn't exactly a memory. You were watching it." He paused and thought. "Like a crappy movie that was set in the past to freak you out."

Liliana laughed, and it came out rather nervously. "I guess that means that I'm not going crazy. Yeah like…that." Sahib noted that it seemed Liliana didn't like this topic much either. She quickly changed the subject. "You know, we have yet to make you laugh." Her smile came out weak. Sahib sort of figured that she was attempting to change the subject, but he let her do it.

"And you never will, short freak," Sahib said with a tiny grin. She suddenly glared at him, her look one of determination. Sahib blinked. "So, what now?" he questioned. She blinked herself, looking rather taken by surprise.

"Well…" Liliana began. "I guess we could, I don't know, see the town for a little bit. We have to wait anyway, assuming your cell is as dead as mine."

Sahib shoved the sudden thought of Ilex out of his mind. "This is odd, but I do need some new shirts," he said. "That's really what I was planning on doing. You could tag along, if you want?" Sahib said, making the last part more of a question than anything else.

"Sure, why not. Ripped out of all your other shirts haven't you, superman?" she teased. She elbowed him lightly in the rib.

"Oh yes. I turn into one of those giant wolf things. Like in that funky book all of you girls like to read," he said with a roll of his eyes. "What's it called again? Dawn? Midnight…something. And no elbowing, I'm fragile." Sahib lifted up his shirt and pointed to the bandage. "Now c'mon you slowpoke."

"Wow there mister, it would be much appreciated if you would keep your shirt on, thank you very much. And I thought you male species were supposed to be tough. You're not the only one with injuries you know!" Liliana said with a roll of her eyes.

Sahib almost said that he just knew she wanted to stare at his chest, but he kept his trap shut. He eyed the bruise on her left arm that was clearly visible, wondering if she had gotten hurt anywhere else. In any case, they both walked out of the Pokémon Center and towards a market.

"Alright, so you're fragile too." There was a tiny smirk on his lips as he said so. Had he seen it from the outside, Sahib would've noticed that his smirk mirrored his father's. Liliana just laughed at his comment.

"Thanks for acknowledging."

"I didn't see…" Sahib began, switching topics suddenly as he remembered something. "Which one of your Pokémon got hit?" Liliana blinked, thinking apparently.

"Abu, of course it would be the one I had for the least amount of time. Yours?"

"Quil—" Sahib paused, stopping in his tracks. Speaking of which, where is Quilava? He wondered for a moment. He went a little pinkish and looked around behind them. His Pokémon was staring up at him, just a foot or two away. "That one. I think I forgot to recall it," Sahib admitted. There was a tint of shame in his voice, but he cleared his throat and then recalled Quilava. Liliana was giggling. "Anything special about…Abu?" Sahib questioned, changing the topic again.

"You mean like how Quilava seems to be shiny now? No, Abu changed back to exactly how he was. Except, I think one of the moves might have lingered. I saw him in my room practicing with fire, which was one of the moves he seemed to have unexplainably gained in his…altered form. Fire punch," Liliana explained.

They paused, not even noticing they had arrived at the shop. "Well here we are I guess, go ahead shopaholic." There was a smile on Liliana's face.

Sahib's eye twitched. "I'm not a shopaholic! I just need some shirts," he said in a rather defensive and grumbling way. "And I find it pretty amusing to think of that playful little monkey with a fire attack. Think of it burning down your bed in the middle of the night." A grin made its way onto Sahib's face once more. Then he moved off in the direction of a rather nice selection of black shirts. They seemed similar to the shirt he was wearing, not by color but just by softness. He glanced at Liliana's curious and questioning face. "What?! I do have a shirt preference. Softer clothes are so much better."

"We need to get you away from the black clothing!" Liliana insisted. She grabbed his hand and tugged him toward a section with more colorful clothing.

Sahib's eyes went wide as he noticed all of the bright colors. "No! Those are bright…and…and…" Sahib sputtered. "You must be insane girl!"

"No!" Liliana declared. "You are not leaving until you got at least one shirt that's not black! You're not emo or goth so why would you wear black all the time? Just no." Liliana went straight through the entire rack with one hand, something that half scared and half amazed Sahib. She then held up a white T-shirt with some orange decoration on it. Sahib blanched as he looked at the shirt.

"I am not emo," Sahib stated indignantly. "I just have a preference for black. It looks better any—" Sahib stared at the shirt she was holding up, finally truly seeing it. "Ew! What is that on the front?! Orange."

"Well I'm glad you're not color blind," Liliana snapped back at him. Sahib sighed, finally just giving up.

"You know what?" He didn't wait for a reply. "You can get one shirt. Then I can get what I want, m'kay?" Liliana seemed satisfied with this. She nodded and then went through basically all the racks. Sahib watched her silently. In the end, it seemed as though she gave up. She pulled a shirt from the rack. It was striped vertically with small grey and black stripes. It was also button up and long sleeved.

"There, my choice," she said with a sigh. Sahib's lips twitched in amusement.

He thought for a moment. "Well, alright." His tone was slightly grudging and not wanting to admit that he liked it. Liliana giggled a bit. "I guess it looks nice," Sahib admitted finally. He then grabbed a couple more black shirts. Sahib glanced at her, "Well, I think this is good. Anything you want to get?"

Liliana nodded and then went about getting her own clothes. Sahib watched silently, half leaning against one of the racks. She grabbed a pair of dark jeans and a white shirt that buttoned up as well. "This is fine, let's go pay and get out of here," Liliana said. She walked up to the register. Sahib followed her and noted the dull looking lady just sitting there.

He bent lower and whispered in her ear, "That woman looks like she is about to die of boredom. You know, I don't think this town gets virtually any action." Sahib was ignoring the Bugsy thing. That was just mostly because that would make him want to go into the forest once more. Liliana elbowed him in the arm, saying that his comment was rather rude. Sahib grumbled to himself. They both paid at the bored lady's counter. She spoke with little enthusiasm as well.

Once they got outside, Liliana's attention was directed towards the forest. There was a guy running from the forest. He ran up to Liliana and tossed her a white and red ball. Sahib blinked, looking curiously at it over her shoulder. Suddenly the guy spoke, begging Liliana to take the Pokeball and Pokémon inside.

"Why, what's wrong?" she asked. The guy appeared as though he was completely panicked.

"It's cursed I tell you! Anything coming from that forest is not right! Take it, please I don't want it anymore!"

"Are you certain? Do you want to trade?"

"NO! I just want to get rid of it!" With those final words he ran away from them and towards the Pokémon Center.

"Well…there's some excitement for you," Sahib said. He blinked as he watched the boy charge inside the Pokémon Center's doors. Sahib then plucked the ball from her hand and, curious to see what it was, he released the Pokémon. It was purple and pink and floating. Huh…that's a Misdreavus, Sahib noted. "Hey, what do you know? It's a Misdreavus." Sahib didn't notice that Liliana's body had completely gone stiff. She was slowly backing away, and then bumped into him as she did. Liliana muttered a soft apology as the Misdreavus looked at her and said a friendly hello in its own way.

"Are you alright?" Sahib asked her. "It's not going to hurt you, you know. See, it even said hello," Sahib said, trying to make her feel a bit better, "so it must be friendly."

Liliana looked as though she had expected a different kind of answer. Liliana didn't answer. Instead, she grabbed the Pokeball in his hand and quickly recalled the ghost Pokémon. Then she turned to Sahib. "You have it!" she exclaimed, shoving the ball into his hands. She looked as though she wanted nothing to do with the Pokémon at all.

"What?" Sahib questioned, taken aback at this. "But…" Sahib stared at the ball for a while. Suddenly he had an idea of how to go about this. "Oh, don't be a sissy! Here," he said, shoving it at her. She once again pushed it back into his hands.

"I said, I don't want it!" Liliana exclaimed. She turned around suddenly. Sahib watched her quietly, unsure of what to do. She appeared as thought she wanted nothing to do with the Pokémon, and Sahib really couldn't imagine why. Then he frowned, I'm not going to give up on this one.

"C'mon what's wrong with it? Truthfully I'd never use it. You could though." Sahib wasn't sure if he was crossing the line in this, but he pressed on. "Really, though, it's just a little ghost. It seems to like you, too."

Liliana whipped around angrily. "That's the problem! I don't need a ghost, they're pretty much useless. Just drop it, alright?"

Sahib blinked at her, slightly taken aback by this. His voice turned a bit colder. "Alright fine. I might as well release it anyway," he declared. Sahib looked at her for a brief second and turned. "You can come if you want. I'm just going over by those trees," he said. Sahib spared another glance over his shoulder and then walked off without looking behind him.

Sahib opened Misdreavus' Pokeball. He stared at the Pokémon silently. It floated around happily, eyeing Liliana. Sahib frowned, wondering how exactly he was supposed to release it. Do you smash the ball? Sahib wondered to himself. "Well, Misdreavus," Sahib began, wondering if this would work, "I'm going to release you now." Suddenly the Misdreavus shook its head rapidly, eyes filling with what appeared to be tears. Sahib blinked. Misdreavus floated over to Liliana. It stared at her with silent wide eyes. Liliana appeared to be frozen to the spot.

"F-fine," Liliana said, with apparent difficulty saying the words. "I'll…keep it." She glared at the Pokémon and took another tiny step back.

Sahib sighed softly. He noted the look of panic that was etched onto her features. "Lili…" he began slowly, finally using her nickname. Sahib returned the Misdreavus. She relaxed a bit. "You know, I really do think it likes you. You'll make a great partner for it. Plus, it might help you overcome your…ghost issues," Sahib finished carefully, unsure if he had crossed a line or not. He hoped he hadn't. "You can always box it if you don't want it around you."

"I guess," Liliana admitted. "Thanks…for helping me with this and not making fun of me." She smiled in a weak way and took the Pokeball from him. "Been quite the day, huh?"

"I can make fun of you anytime," Sahib said with a simple shrug.

"Ah, well, I tried." Liliana laughed.

Sahib agreed on the day being an odd one. Then he shifted slightly. "Well, I need to wait for a call from my dad. He said he was getting the amber thing…uhm…diagnosed. So…is this it, then?"

Liliana nodded. "I guess it is. It was a good day, now to wait for that phone call so we can leave this place. I'll most likely see you around. You know, maybe we should meet up when we've finally travelled the Ilex Forest?" Liliana suggested.

Sahib nodded. "That'll be good, any specific place where?"

Liliana paused and thought. "How about the Pokémon Center in Goldenrod? We'll wait for the other there, see who gets through first." A grin appeared on her face.

"Yeah, I'll see you when you finally get there," Sahib laughed. He winked at her baffled expression, and then began to walk towards the Pokémon Center.

Upon arriving inside, Nurse Joy notified him of his phone call. Sahib sat down at the machine, and pressed the button. His father appeared on screen, still appearing to be doing some form of research. Sahib vaguely wondered how his mother could stand how much his father worked, but then he shrugged it off. Sahib made himself known by clearing his throat. His father glanced up.

"Well, I know what it is," his father began. He grabbed a red and white Pokeball. "I'm going to transport this to you," he finished. He rummaged about for a second, and then suddenly there was a 'bing' and a Pokeball dropped down from the transporter. Sahib picked it up and looked at it. "That is an Aerodactyl," Sahib's father explained. "It's a very rare fossil Pokémon."

"Seriously?" Sahib questioned.

"Yeah," his father replied. "I must get back to work, Sahib. Good luck on your journey. Your mother sends her love." With that, the screen went black. Sahib stared at it for a few moments, and then looked at the Pokeball in his hands. With a big grin on his face, he walked off to his room. Sahib couldn't wait to see what this Pokémon could do.

Chapter 11-Reunited Rivals!

"Scythe is that you?" a voice from behind calls. Scythe quickly turns around to notice a younger boy dressed as a ninja. "Gregory!" Scythe exclaims joyfully as he walks over to the boy.

"Where were you going?" Gregory asks. "I was heading into the Ilex Forest...Bugsy has been kidnapped!" Scythe states to Gregory. "What really a gym leader has been kidnapped...by who?" Gregory yells out in shock.

"I'm not real sure but they dress in black cloaks and worship darkness or something...there pretty crazy." Scythe says to the boy. "Well what do you think you can do?" Gregory quickly responds with a laugh.

Scythe gives an angry glance at the boy and says, "I've faced these people plenty of times already...plus i've gotten stronger since the last time we battled!" "So you want to battle, thats what your saying?" Gregory says to Scythe.

"What? no not now! I can't let them kill Bugsy like they killed Falkner!" Scythe than yelled out at the ninja. "Falkners dead!?!!?!" Gregory screams in shock. "Ya...it happened the night after me and the other dex holders battled him." Scythe states as he stares into the night sky. "I promised myself I wouldn't let it happen again..." the boy than whispers.

"o...Scythe...what exactly is going on...you've gotta tell me" Gregory than says to Scythe. "Fine i'll tell you...but you might not like what you hear.." Scythe mutters as he and Gregory walk into the pokemon center.

"So this black cloaked man wants you and the other's dead?" Gregory questions after hearing what Scythe had to say. "Ya he said were all getting to strong, and that's how he failed...whoever he is. But ya he would of succeeded if it wasn't for that Grecko guy...damn was he amazing." Scythe than thinks to himself as he remember's Grecko.

"Well than damn what are we doing here still if the world is in danger!" Gregory shouts out in the center making a scene. Scythe looks up at the boy who is now standing in his chair and says, "well it's something Elm told us all when we started our journeys...he told us not to go into the forest until he called us...so that's what were doing.." Scythe whisperes as he begins to feel helpless.

"But Bugsy's life is in danger we can't just sit here and do nothing!" Gregory continues to shout in the center. "Listen! if us dex holders are the key to saving Johto than we have to take extra precuations!" Scythe yells back as he yanks the kid down into his seat. "Pssh Fine! but once you get that call were going in that forest together!" Gregory demands. Scythe agrees and then begins to rub his head.

"Ya...plus i've sort of got a headache so i'd like to wait that out..." Scythe tells the boy. "A headache!!!!!!! were not going into the forest because you have a headache!" Gregory once again gets up into his seat and begins to throw a tantrum.

"HEY!" Scythe once again yells as he pulls the kid by the shirt and drags him out of the center. "Gregory you need to calm down!" Scythe screams at him as he throws him behind the center. "Gaa fine...but how long till Prof. Elm calls you?" Gregory asks as he sits on the ground indian style.

"I'm not really sure...it could be a while.." Scythe states as he puts his head down. "Damn...well do you want to have that battle to pass the time?" Gregory questions Scythe. "Uh sure ya why not!" Scythe agrees to a battle.

"I won't lose this time Scythe i've gotten a lot better!" Gregory than shouts as he prepares for battle. "So have I!" Scythe shouts back as he reaches for a pokeball.

"Easter come on out!" "Ariados it's your time!" The two screech in unison as they send out their pokemon. "BON BON" Easter happily cries as it emrges from the ball. "DO DO!" Ariados hisses.

"Easter use pound!" Scythe commands the rabbit pokemon. "Ariados use shadow sneak!" Gregory orders. "Bon Bon!" Easter happily shouts as it charges in for the attack. "DOOO!" Ariados quickly hisses as it dives into shadows and slams into Easter. "Bon Bon!" Easter cries as it flies backwards.

"Ha looks like this one is already over! Ariados use night shade!" Gregory instantly commands the bug. "Easter look out! Defense curl!" Scythe shouts out hoping Easter hears him fast enough.

"Bon!" Easter hollers as it curls up into a ball. A second later the night shade attack crosses over Easter, but has no real effect thanks to the Defense curl. "Now Easter use quick attack!" Scythe commanded in a hurry.

Easter popped out of the defense curl and began sprinting at the enemy Ariados. "Ariados use night shade once more!" Gregory yells out. "Easter stop and use defense curl!" Scythe says. "Bon!" Easter cries out as it curls into a ball again, while the Night shade soars over it without effect again.

"Now Easter continue with that quick attack!" Scythe once again shouts in a fast manner. "BOOON!" Easter screams as it collides it's body into Ariados, thrusting it into it's trainer.

"OWWWWWWW!" Gregory roars as he gets up off the ground. "Sorry about that!" Scythe yells over to the boy. "It's fine, just all part of the battle!" Gregory happily states. "This is a good battle so far though!" Scythe respectfully tells the ninja. "I agree, but it's far from over!" Gregory laughs as he hollers to Scythe.

"Easter use pound again!" Scythe commands. "Ariados use constrict!" Gregory screeches out to his pokemon. "BON BON BON!" Easter cries as vines grab it and swing it up into the air. "haha now all I need to do is have Ariados attack with night shade once more and your done!" Gregory confidently boasts.

"Ariados use Night Shade!" Gregory calls out. As the night shade attack draws in on Easter, Scythe thinks up a plan. "Easter use endure!" Scythe puts his plan into effect.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" Easter booms in pain as it takes the night shade head on while being constricted. "EASTER!" Scythe shouts out as he watches the buneary fall from the constrictive vines and slam hard on the ground.

"While I guess this battle is my victory!" Gregory happily states. "Easter now use pound!" Scythe quickly yells out while Gregory is busy thinking he won. "BON BON!" Easter roars as it slams into the Ariados knocking it unconcious.

"What no...I lost again..." Gregory whimpers as he puts his head down. "Hey don't worry about it, it was a great battle...I just used a little bit of adivce that Bugsy gave me the other day!" Scythe laughed as he patted Gregory on the head. "O? and what advice is that?" Gregory asks his older rival.

"Never think a battle is over before it actually is...always pay attention." Scythe says to Gregory as his eyes concentrate on the Ilex Forest. "So what now?" Greogry than questions Scythe. Scythe just continues to stare at the forest, "I'm coming soon Bugsy don't worry.." he thinks to himself.

"HELLO!" Gregory roars as he jumps up and down in front of the dazed Scythe. "Huh oh right...um i guess we wait for the phone call still.." the starring Scythe stutters as he snaps out of his daze. "Do we really have to wait?" the ninja begins to cry out again.

"Ya we..." Scythe starts until his phone begins to ring. "Hello?" scythe quickly picks up hoping to find out it's Elm.

Later that day, Sahib yawned and opened his eyes. He had been taking a short nap (because he was bored) and the sunlight streaming in through his window had woken him up. He sat up and scratched the back of his neck, and then squinted his unadjusted eyes. He hopped out of bed and looked around the room. Just as Sahib was about to go get something to eat, his cell phone rang. Sahib sprang towards it and grabbed it, wrenching it open.

"Hello?" he asked breathlessly.

"Ah…it is good to hear from you," Professor Elm said in an odd voice. Sahib's expression wrinkled. Something wasn't right. "I just wanted to call you and tell you that it is about time you enter the Ilex Forest. I have analyzed the situation and it seems to be alright to enter. I need to call the others so goodbye…" Elm trailed off. "I'm sorry," he whispered. Sahib only just caught it, but he did. He was about to ask what Elm was talking about, but then the line went dead.

His backpack was sitting on a desk that was opposite of his bed. There was a computer on the bed, but it obviously wasn't his. One or two of his shirts was scattered on the floor. He picked them up and then stuffed them into his bag. He paused when he noticed his Pokeballs. I suppose I'll have to let them get to know each other, Sahib mused. He swung his backpack on his shoulder and looked around, making sure that he hadn't forgotten anything.

The first thing Sahib did when he walked out was that he noticed that the police officers were now gone. He casually approached the forest and paused directly outside. This is it, he thought confidently. The long road begins, Sahib thought with a tiny smirk on his face. He let out a breath and grabbed Aerodactyl's Pokeball. Sahib had something he wanted to do before he even entered the forest, so he did. "Let's go," he muttered and tossed the Pokeball lightly.

"Raa!" Aerodactyl screeched. Sahib winced, darn my hearing.

Aerodactyl looked around at the town, full of apparent curiosity. Sahib wondered how exactly he should go about this large Pokémon. The Aerodactyl then looked at him, head cocked to the side. It half screeched, but it was softer. Sahib grinned and patted Aerodactyl on the head. The fossil Pokémon blinked, almost unable to comprehend what exactly this human was touching it for.

"I'm your trainer, Aerodactyl," Sahib declared. Aerodactyl squawked again. "So…can you fly?" Sahib wondered aloud. Aerodactyl looked up at the sky and lifted off. It hovered a bit, and then landed back on the ground. "Excellent!" Sahib grinned, giving his Pokémon a thumbs up.

"Raa!"

"Well, I suppose we'd best be going, huh?" Sahib questioned. Aerodactyl looked surprised that Sahib was still talking to him. Sahib smiled encouragingly. "You're my Pokémon. My partner. We go together," Sahib said. He pressed his hand to Aerodactyl's large head. Aerodactyl nodded. "So…return then," Sahib muttered. He recalled Aerodactyl and looked back to the forest. Just before he stepped inside, he felt his head began to throb like he had a headache. There was a picture of a shrine, and then Bugsy. Sahib shivered and shook his head. Then, without further procrastinating, he stepped inside.

As soon as he did, he felt weird. From outside, it looked just like a normal forest. It seemed full of life, warmth, and all that other forest type stuff. Upon entering, Sahib found that it appeared full of…darkness. The plants and grass were dead. It looked like most of the normal Pokémon had migrated from the area, and it's oddly hard to breathe for some reason. Sahib decided not to linger. He wanted to be out of the accursed forest as quickly as possible. It was so dark, Sahib almost wanted to call out Quilava. He didn't, though, because he didn't exactly think a fire Pokémon unleashing a fire attack in a dry forest would be a good idea. Can anyone spell forest fire?

"Growl!"

Sahib whipped around. There was a Growlithe behind him, snarling angrily. It growled louder. Sahib swallowed heavily, grabbing Aerodactyl's Pokeball yet again. Growlithe moved closer, so Sahib tossed the Pokeball. Aerodactyl appeared in front of Growlithe, making the little puppy pause in its tracks. Sahib decided that now was the time to see what Aerodactyl could do. He pulled out his Pokedex and registered both Pokémon. Then he looked at Aerodactyl's moves.

"Start off with wing attack, Aerodactyl!" Sahib ordered.

Aerodactyl lifted off from the ground and flew at Growlithe, slamming its wings into the puppy. Growlithe howled, and then bit down on one of Aerodactyl's wings. Aerodactyl screeched and shook its wing about, making Growlithe thrash back and forth. The stupid little puppy just wouldn't let go! Sahib then ordered a thunder fang. Aerodactyl snapped its jaws down around the Growlithe's body. The Growlithe howled in pain and then unleashed a stream of fire directly in Aerodactyl's face.

"Don't let it freak you out with a roar attack! You can beat that little thing!" Sahib called, noting that it appeared like Growlithe was preparing for a roar. "Confuse it with supersonic!" he called.

Aerodactyl opened its jaws, unleashing an attack that hit Growlithe directly. The puppy started thrashing and eventually smacked itself on the muzzle. It howled and squirmed from Aerodactyl's grip. Aerodactyl let go of Growlithe and waited for the next order. Growlithe tottered about on its feet, a dizzy expression written across the puppy's face. Sahib snickered slightly.

"Aerodactyl, get in there and use…" Sahib peered at his Pokedex. "…Bite!" he finished quickly.

Aerodactyl lunged forward and snapped its jaws closed on the Growlithe's tail. Sahib blinked, finding this battle one of the most…interesting he had ever witnessed. Just as he was about to order something else, there was a snarl from the bushes. Sahib whipped around. Aerodactyl did as well, flinging Growlithe smack into a tree. There, in the bushes, was yet another Growlithe. The only difference was, this one looked slightly bigger and rather angry.

"Oh crap," Sahib realized, looking at the littler Growlithe.

"Growl!" the bigger one barked. It snarled and slowly moved towards Aerodactyl. Sahib glanced back and forth between the injured puppy and its relative. He didn't think it was the mother, probably more like a puppy sitter.

"Aerodactyl, watch it! This one has more experience!" Sahib called.

Aerodactyl readied for the fight. This Growlithe unleashed a rather strong looking ember. It slammed into Aerodactyl and a mark appeared on Aerodactyl's stomach. Aerodactyl screeched, looking at the Growlithe angrily. Sahib called for a thunder fang. Aerodactyl flew in, latching onto the Growlithe and sending a shock of electricity through the small body. The Growlithe opened its jaws and let out a rather horrifying sound; a roar. Aerodactyl screeched and let go, moving away from the Growlithe. Growlithe growled.

"Aerodactyl, go for a supersonic!" Sahib ordered.

Aerodactyl opened its jaws and unleashed the attack, but this Growlithe moved much too quickly. Suddenly it was behind Aerodactyl, biting him on the large spike on his back. Sahib clenched his teeth as Aerodactyl cried out and moved around in an attempt to shake the Growlithe off. Growlithe snapped down harder, refusing to let go. Aerodactyl slammed the Growlithe repeatedly against a tree, but it just wouldn't let go. Sahib clenched his teeth as he thought about what he could do.

"Aerodactyl, use…" Sahib trailed off, realizing that there virtually wasn't anything Aerodactyl could do to throw it off with his attacks. "Aerodactyl, hit it harder against the tree! You've gotta force it to let go!" Sahib called.

Aerodactyl roared and slammed the Pokémon repeatedly. Finally Growlithe lost its grip and slipped off of Aerodactyl's back, landing with a light thud on the ground. Growlithe howled in another roar attack. Aerodactyl backed up, but didn't run. Sahib was relieved to note that Aerodactyl was strong. The Growlithe snarled and unleashed another stream of fire from its muzzle. Sahib called for a wing attack. Aerodactyl sliced completely through the fire and slammed its wings onto the wild Growlithe. He smirked slightly when he saw that his Aerodactyl was going strong still.

"Finish it off, Aerodactyl! Give it a thunder fang!" Sahib called.

Aerodactyl roared, mouth filling with electricity suddenly. Without waiting any longer, it clamped its jaws down on Growlithe. The Pokémon let out a shriek, falling limp in Aerodactyl's jaws. Sahib called for release, so Aerodactyl dropped the Growlithe and hopped backwards. Sahib tossed a Pokeball. They both watched silently as it shook back and forth in an agonizing way.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ALL HAIL GIOVANNI!" the mad scientist yelled before he disappeared, but Kaitlyn paid no mind to him, she was too worried about Sho.

"Sho!?" She watched in horror as her Pichu began rapidly changing before her eyes, a bright white light engulfed it and he began to change, Sho grew larger, chubbier, he had long ears and feet and was a yellow-brownish in color with a white belly, its arms were halfway brown and its ears were brown, while the inside was yellow and ended with a curly Q, it had yellow cheek sacs and a thin tail with a broad, lightning bolt-shaped end. Around Sho's neck was his Expert Sash, which was snug and still trailed behind him, but it looked a lot smaller on the larger rodent.

Raichu
The Mouse Pokémon
It turns aggressive if it has too much electricity in its body. It discharges power through its tail. It can loose 100,000-volt bursts of electricity, instantly downing foes several times its size.

"S-Sho?" Kaitlyn murmured as she shakily drew a breath and moved to touch her Pokémon "Rai!!" Sho's eyes were blank as he glared at Kaitlyn, who froze at the malicious intent that surrounded him "Raiiii! Raichu!" electricity crackled loudly, she saw sparks pop in the air around Sho and seconds later it became wild and violent "Sh-Sho? What are you doing? Don't you remember, its me Kaitlyn" she tried to reason with her newly evolved Raichu, but Sho wouldn't listen and the crackles started to get louder "Sho. Calm down, its me. Its Kaitlyn, remember… you have to remember Sho!" Kaitlyn moved to comfort her raging Pokémon, but he just gave another loud cry and a powerful Thunderbolt left his body, aimed at Kaitlyn who froze and stared at the beam that would probably kill her.

"Graaaannnn!"

There was a loud explosion and dirt and debris scattered everywhere and Kaitlyn gasped, stepping away from the boulder that had been tossed in front of her, causing it to get hit instead and it turned into dust due to the sheer power from the attack. Snoopy was standing protectively in front of Kaitlyn, glaring at Sho, bearing his deadly fangs "S-Snoopy!" Kaitlyn's eyes widened "You… you saved me" Snoopy gave her a lopsided grin and gave a thumbs up before turning back at the wacked out Raichu and Kaitlyn moved away from the field, away from where she could get hurt.

"We're gonna have to fight him aren't we"

It wasn't a question, they both knew the answer. Kaitlyn gave a nod and glared determinedly at Sho, who had electricity crackling all around him, it was like a protective electric barrier, she saw how even the dirt and rocks nearby would suddenly explode from the sheer electrical power coming from the raging Raichu "Okay Snoopy, get ready to cause a lot of pain. Now lets save Sho! Start off with Bite!"

Snoopy charged at Sho, but he dodged it and smacked Snoopy in the face with an Iron Tail, sending the Granbull skidding back a few paces "Graraaaan" he growled at Sho and ran at him again, scooping the Raichu up in his mouth and crunching down with a hard grunt "Raaiiiaiaiiiiiii" Sho screamed and began struggling in Snoopy's grip "Raichuuu!!!" he snarled and thrashed as his cheek's sparked "Chuuuuuuu" Snoopy cried out as his mouth suddenly lit up, Sho had used Thunderbolt and Snoopy had gotten fried, quickly he spat out the sparking Raichu and shook his head, brushing off the shock and getting down on all fours.

"Headbutt!"

"Raiiichuchuchuchuchu" Snoopy charged at Sho, both Pokémon began running towards each other and with a loud thundering crack, both their head's met, Snoopy pushing back with Headbutt and Sho with Double Edge "Raiiiichu!" Sho gave a shout and began overpowering Snoopy, pushing the large canine back "Don't let him overpower you Snoopy! Knock him aside!" Snoopy nodded and took one of his fists and slammed it into Sho's side, sending the Raichu tumbling across the field, but Sho managed to roll himself into a crouch and bounced back quickly, ramming his head into Snoopy's stomach with Double-Edge.

"Rai. Rai. Rai. Raichu!"

But Sho didn't stop there, after using Double Edge, he stood on his hind legs, fists glowing dangerously and began punching Snoopy with Focus Punch, each punch was getting harder and harder with every hit and Snoopy grunted every time one connected "Raichu!!" he jumped briefly in the air and flipped, bringing his tail down harshly upon Snoopy's head, the blow sent the dog to the floor and Snoopy moaned weakly as he fell on his back, one hand clutching at his head and the other rubbed at his stomach where he was punched repeatedly, Sho looked ready to end the fight, his cheeks sparked dangerously and his fists glowed.

"NO SHO DON'T"

Kaitlyn's shriek echoed throughout the cave, as she watched Sho leapt high into the air, using its strong legs, he began spinning in the air much like a drill and waves of electricity wrapped around his body, Sho was going to finish Snoopy off with drilled electrified Focus Punch to the gut. To the normal observer, it would look like Sho was unaffected by her shout, but something in Sho had awakened, the reasonable part of him, the one that was locked away, surfaced briefly and Sho faltered, twitching slightly as he zoomed in on Snoopy, who was lying there trying to regain its movement from paralysis. Kaitlyn watched as Sho slammed his fists into Snoopy's torso, there was a loud explosion and smoke covered the field "SNOOPY!!"

For several tense moment's, Kaitlyn waited with a baited breath as the smoke began to clear, then she saw what had really happened and her eyes widened in shock. There was a large crater not to far off from Snoopy, Sho was in the middle, with his fists sunk into the ground and Kaitlyn winced when she thought about Snoopy's torso "That could've been Snoopy" said Granbull slowly stood, wincing in pain "Graaaa" he was panting hard and glared at Sho, who looked to be having some sort of inner struggle with himself before he collapsed and fell face forward on the ground "Raiiichuuu" he groaned before his body became engulfed in a white light.

Sho began to shrink, except he didn't revert back to a Pichu, that weird evolution gun de evolved him into a Pikachu and he was an odd color now, a brownish red rather than yellow "Pikaaaa. P-Pika? Pikachu!?" Sho blinked upon realizing that he had not only evolved, but he was now an odd color like those other Pokémon "Snoopy are you okay? Here, eat this…" Sho glanced over at Snoopy, who was resting on his haunches, eating one of the mushroom's Kaitlyn had picked up, moments later Snoopy was looking like new "Graaaannn" he rubbed his cheek against her face and Kaitlyn hugged him tightly "I'm happy your okay Snoopy."

Sho watched the two with sad eyes, he felt bad, almost hurting Snoopy like that "Pikaaaa" he trudged up to Kaitlyn and stood before her, glancing at the floor sadly "Pikachuuu" Kaitlyn looked at Sho who stared back "P-Pika…" he didn't know what to say and Kaitlyn glared "You attacked us Sho, went berserk and nearly killed Snoopy. What do you have to say for yourself?" Sho stiffened under Kaitlyn's harsh gaze, the Pikachu was speechless ". . ." Kaitlyn frowned "That's it? You have nothing to say, not even a sorry!?"

"P-Pika--!"

"I don't wanna hear it Sho, better yet I should just get rid of you so you won't cause us anymore harm" she turned away from Sho and crossed her arms. Sho stared at the girl in disbelief, he felt his heart stop was she serious!? "Pikachu! Pika Pi!" tears welled up in his eyes when Kaitlyn didn't acknowledge his cries "P-Pika! Pi-Ka-Chuuuu" he shook his head no, he didn't want to be released, he wanted to stay with her and Snoopy, not go back to the wild "C'mon Snoopy, lets go" Kaitlyn stood and began walking away, with Snoopy trailing behind her and Sho let out a strangled squeak "P-Pikaaa" tears flowed down his cheeks and he ran after Kaitlyn, hugging her leg from behind and rubbing his cheek against it "Pikachu! Pika! Pika!"

Don't leave me. . .

"Hehehe. . .snort. . .Hahaha! Ahahahahaha!"

She . . .

She was laughing?

"Hahehehehahaha. Y-You shoulda seen your face Sho. It was so cute I just wanted to hug you!" Kaitlyn giggled turning around and scooping a stupefied Sho in her arms "But I would've ruined the effect if I did that" Kaitlyn grinned at the crying Sho "It was an act, I'd never wanna get rid of you, or any of my Pokémon, sides you went all wacko after you got shot, so it wasn't your fault intentionally" Sho sniffed and wiped his tears "P-Pikachu?" he looked at Snoopy, who was grinning "Ohh here" she dug in her pocket and handed him one of the mushrooms. Sho quickly devoured it and instantly regained his health "Kachuu"

"Now lets get out of here" she murmured walking towards the exit "This place is getting creepy" it didn't take the trio long to exit the caves and when the first ray of sunshine hit Kaitlyn's eyes, she smiled "Finally" she breathed, inhaling some fresh air "No more dark caves, I can't wait to—" Kaitlyn was cut off by a loud shout, there was some kinds of shouting match going up ahead, being nosy Kaitlyn and Snoopy made their way forward, watching as several people were running all over the place like chickens with their heads cut off and then she noticed about five of them were walking towards Ilex forest, with a body.

Wait! Was that Busgy?

Kaitlyn felt her blood run cold.
