"Good Job Hunter"

"Crocoo" he puffed out his chest proudly and grinned "Now lets get going, Goldenrod's just up ahead" Kaitlyn and her two Pokémon walked along the route, both off in their own little worlds. Sho and Hunter were chatting away happily while Kaitlyn was deep in thought "Just what was he going on about back there" she frowned "Thought to be dead Rocket. . . I know for a fact that Giovanni has died, so what other Rocket is he talking about" a confused look etched itself on her face.

"Piiikachu!"

"Crocoooo!"

Kaitlyn blinked out of her thoughts and stared at the big sign that read "Now Entering Goldenrod City" it didn't take long for her to reach City limits and she noticed everyone was there and so was a Pokémon Ranger and next to him was a Charmeleon, waved to Kaitlyn briefly acknowledging her presence.

"As soon as everyone arrives we shall be off to the Pokémon Center, we have no time to look around the town I am sorry" They waited for a while until all the others had finally arrived, she was happy to see Cairne was there, and that he decided to fight the good fight. Once the Ranger was sure everyone was there, they began making their way towards the Center, but along the way they could hear the faint cry of people shouting in the streets and Kaitlyn noticed a herd of rampaging Tauros running through the streets of Goldenrod.

"I need your help! Stop those Tauros!" Kaitlyn nodded and grabbed a ball at her belt, while the Ranger went off on his own with his Charmeleon "Snoopy lets go!" Kaitlyn tossed down her Granbull's Pokéball and the large dog barked, staring down the raging bull "Snoopy start off with Headbutt!" both Pokémon charged at one another, Tauros using Horn Attack to meet Snoopy head on, their skulls met with a loud crack.

Tauros snorted through its nostrils when his attempts at pushing Snoopy back failed, it then began to stamp its feet and trash about, using Payback, its head ducked lower than either Kaitlyn or Snoopy were expecting and the bull rammed its head into Snoopy's stomach, causing the large dog to get pushed back a few feet, he stood on his hind legs and rubbed his torso "Graaan" he glared at the bull and got down on all fours, charged at the bull and sank his electrified teeth into the bull's side, causing it to thrash about wildly again.

"Calm down Snoopy, we're just trying to calm it down, not make it faint!"

He grunted and slowly released Tauros, who only saw red as he charged at Snoopy, ramming his head into the Granbull with Horn Attack "Stop it with Ice Fang!" Snoopy nodded and twin fangs of Ice shot from his mouth and shot at the ground by Tauros' feet, hoping to freeze the bull's feet and stop it, but Tauros plowed through it like it was nothing and hit Snoopy with Pursuit, sending the dog flying back.

"Grannn"

He growled, screw calming that bull down, he was gonna put it down!
Tauros snorted loudly and shook its head before it began charging at Snoopy again, who caught the bull by the horns and with all his strength flipped it onto its back. Tauros flailed around on its back for a bit, before it managed to roll back onto its feet, it stomped its feet before calming slightly, its eyes glassed over "I think it's about to use Rest! Make sure it doesn't fall asleep Snoopy! Thunder Fang!"

Snoopy nodded and quickly ran over to Tauros, sinking his teeth into the bulls side again, sending shocks coursing through its body, the Tauros bellowed loudly as electricity coursed through its entire being, the shocks keeping it awake "Keep it up Snoopy, make sure it can't use Rest!" Snoopy nodded and began adding more juice to the bite, so much so in fact, it might've been an over lead because the Tauros gave a pained cry before passing out and Snoopy stopped biting it.

He gave a sheepish laugh and Kaitlyn sweat dropped. The ranger then quickly did his job
and befriended the Tauros and then re released it back into the wild, thanking them for all their help and Kaitlyn wondered what made those Tauros go on rampage like that, seeing as how their normally gentle and only attack when they're being attacked or provoked.

She also wondered if it had anything to do with Team Rocket and that mysterious resurrected leader. Sighing Kaitlyn recalled Snoopy, motioning for Sho and Hunter to follow her as they entered the Pokémon Center, the Professor was waiting by the counter and he did not look happy.

"Krad, finish with Leaf Blade!", Lucas called, watching as Krad finished the last of yet another group of Gastly since defeating the first one. Dammit, that Gastly must've had some real influence in this forest...I'm all worn out, let's hope we can find Bugsy before another group can ambush us...Lucas sighed, then picked up his pace, beginning a light jog with Krad close at his side. A good ten minutes passed without incident, and Lucas began suspecting something was up, as they hadn't gone for more then 5 minutes without being ambushed previously. Just as Lucas began looking around, guessing they were just waiting for the right time, he spotted something odd. A dome shaped object. Even stranger, it was made from bent trees. Spotting this oddity of nature, Lucas couldn't resist checking it out, and jogged over. Inspecting it from head to toe, so to speak, Lucas noticed there was a bit of green peeking through the branches.

"Krad, cut through these trees with your Leaf Blade. Use that technique we've been working on...", Lucas ordered, while stepping back quickly. Krad complied, and just as the leaves on his forearm began glowing green, he grabbed one, and plucked it off quickly. In the next second, the leaf lengthened and sharpened, forming a sword like blade.

"Gro--VYLE!", Krad screeched as he swung the blade viciously, and the tree dome proved to be no obstacle for Krad's Leaf Blade variation, falling into several pieces rather quickly.

"Heh, it looks like the variation is stronger then the regular version...Just have to come up with an epic name for it now. Good job, Krad! Follow me once I go through, 'kay?", Lucas said rather quickly, before falling to his hands and knees, crawling through the small entrance Krad had created, with the Grovyle following right behind.

Pushing himself up from the ground, Lucas immedietely was greeted with a smooth, yet creepy voice, "They say that shrine was made for the time travel pokemon,Celebi,long ago", looking around for the source of the voice, Lucas found not only the owner of the voice, but also a certain gym leader sprawled on the ground next to a shrine-like building. The owner of the voice wore a black cloak, similar to the white cloaks of the guys who had kidnapped Bugsy. It seemed obvious to Lucas that this man was in charge, and the white cloaked guys were under his command. Looking back to the entrance Krad made, Lucas realized that Krad didn't have a chance to get out, It may be better if I don't let Krad out of there, he'll be good for a surprise if I need to fight this guy, after all, Lucas grins a bit, then scoots in front of the entrance so the man wouldn't have a view of Krad at all. Luckily, it seemed Krad understood Lucas's intentions, and remained silent, blade at the ready.

"Hold on a sec there, kiddo. I'm afraid we haven't met yet?", the man said calmly before continuing, "You aren't one of Elm's new trainers, no...you don't have a dex, why did you come into the Ilex Forest?", he asked simply.

"Heh, I entered the forest because those freaks of yours kidnapped my next opponent, Bugsy", Lucas said just as simply, although by now he wore a scowl on his face, I don't like this guy at all, Krad had better be ready for a fight. If this dude doesn't start one, I think I just might--

"Hah,you know what kid? I like your feel for adventure, and I can see in you that drive to be a powerful trainer...Well, I can help you with that, and give you the one thing that you want!", the cloaked man says, with Lucas looking at him with a confused stare. "It's quite simple, when I was a trainer like you, there was one thing that I wanted...And that was to be the strongest and best. I found so many different ways, but one way worked better then the others...", he paused, as if for dramatic effect.

"Darkness!"

"Darkness can give you power, and it can provide you with anything!...Even that one thing that you know that you've always wanted!", the man said quickly, and Lucas had a guess that this was rehearsed many times, "Aren't you tired of being a mediocre trainer, with people never noticing your real skills? But me, I can see your potential!", at this point, Lucas knew exactly where this conversation was headed, and sure enough, "I would like to extend an offer to join my group...We are a gr--", the man was cut off as Lucas began laughing.

"Haha, you think I'll join your group? I would never join your group. Not in a thousand years! Krad, attack!", Lucas exclaimed, jumping to the side of the entrance, as Krad shot out of the hole, his glowing blade in hand.

"Hah! Well like my old colleagues from Kanto, you are a fool! Now face your destruction!", the man cried out, as two of the white cloaked guys from earlier appeared from behind him, releasing two pokemon, a Houndoom and a Haunter.

"Two at once? That's hardly fair! Spade, you're up now!", Lucas yelled angrily, releasing his Phanpy in a rush. "Krad, use your blade to attack that Haunter, and Spade, Rollout on Houndoom!", Krad shot forward quickly, using Quick Attack to close the distance between him and the levitating pokemon, before slashing in an upward arc. The Haunter was not impressed, and swirling black energy gathered around one hand, and came down on Krad's blade, Shadow Punch. As both pokemon stood locked together, Spade was busily rolling across the grass, in an effort to smash the Houndoom. However, the fire type was much too agile for Spade to hit easily, and continually rained blasts of fire down upon Spade. The Embers, however, didn't have any better luck hitting the Phanpy then Spade had hitting the Houndoom, and quickly set the ground on fire.

Thinking quickly, Lucas called Lavitz from his pokeball, and the bird quickly set off with a Sand Attack, and the fire stood no chance, being put out on the spot by the sand.

"You refuse the master's offer to join us...yet you don't even fight fair against us?!", one of the cloaked men yells at Lucas, who just grins, There's no point in fighting fair against you guys, obviously you didn't fight fair against Bugsy. There's no way he'd have lost to you fools, he's a gym leader!

"Lavitz and Krad, Quick Attack on the Houndoom, opposite sides, now!", Lucas ordered, watching as Lavitz shot towards the Houndoom with a trail of light close behind, while Krad ditched Haunter, and circled around the battlefield, smashing into the unsuspecting Houndoom from behind, knocking it ever closer to Lavitz, who proceeded to knock Houndoom backwards towards Krad once again, and Krad responded with an uncalled for Pound attack, knocking the Houndoom once again, towards Lavitz, although this time, the neglected Haunter decided to get in the way, and launched a Confuse Ray at Lavitz, who was shot backwards from the force of the attack, and looked around rather confusedly.

"Damn! Lavitz, return! Spade, get that Haunter with Rollout! Krad, Pound that Houndoom again!", Lucas commanded as he held up Lavitz's pokeball, returning the bird. Spade, in the meantime, curled into a ball and launched himself into the air, coming down on top of the Haunter, while Krad dashed towards the downed Houndoom, and smacked it towards Haunter with his headleaf. Back to Spade and the Haunter: While Spade had nearly landed the Rollout on the Haunter, it had gone ghost like temporarily, and Spade phased right through, leaving the Haunter looking victorious. However it wasn't quite prepared for it's partner to shoot into it's side, knocking the two pokemon flying. Spade and Krad took a quick glance at Lucas, who nodded to both of them, they were synched already. Krad ran behind Spade, grabbed him, then launched into a Quick Attack, propelling both pokemon towards the Houndoom at high speeds. Once Krad was close enough, he released Spade, who connected with the wounded Houndoom in a super-effective Rollout. The distracted Haunter had no chance to dodge, and was once again, sent flying with Houndoom.

Heh, these guys like to fly...Lucas thought as he watched the two pokemon fail to get up. "Good job, now get those goons!", Lucas yelled excitedly. The black cloaked man sighed and released a small blue-ish pokemon, with red head feathers, Lucas had never seen a pokemon like it before, although he could tell that it was quite powerful, recalling Spade, and ordering Krad to come back to his side quickly.

"Hmm, what's this? You haven't vanished like the Dex holders that have come through here… Looks like your back isn't being watched like theirs..." the man pauses for a second, before revealing a huge grin, "Haha, I guess you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time kid, you really should have chosen my side, oh well!", the man finished as the pokemon at his side charges towards Lucas and Krad, who tense themselves for what would seem to be a fatal attack. As the pokemon pulls it's arm back, Lucas could only look down at his pokemon, I'm sorry things had to end like this...he thinks as he waits for the attack...

...That never came.

A flash of bright light engullfed the area, and when it cleared, Lucas and Krad were nowhere to be seen.

Elsewhere, a similar flash occurs, and when the light clears the area, there Lucas and Krad stand. What...Happened?...Krad! Lucas looks down and smiles at the sight of the pokemon at his side. "Krad, let's go find out where we are...", Lucas says quietly, That was a dangerous situation we were in, I don't know how the HELL we got out of it, but I really shouldn't be questioning it, what with jynxing and all. Huh, that sign...Route 34?! That's really wie--

Lucas stopped, looking underneath his foot, something was underneath it. Picking it up, Lucas recognized it as the Hive Badge. Ah, what happened to Bugsy?! I don't remember seeing anything happen to him...and that guy's smile, that was too strange for my tastes...Lucas thinks as he stares down at the badge in his hand.

The last thing you saw before vanishing out of the forest was the evil grin on the cloaked mans face… A lot of thoughts start to cross through your mind all at once.

• What was this plan he was working on.
• What about Bugsy?
• How did you get here?
• What other trainers was he talking about?
• They all had pokedex's? were they apart of this plan?

After these thoughts cross your mind you start to wonder where on the earth you were teleported to? You start looking around until you notice a sign which reads <Route 33, Goldenrod City> As you see this a sign of hope glimmers as you realize there is another gym leader there, and maybe another chance to save ones life.


Route 34 is full of life unlike the forest there is a newly added pond up ahead on the left full of wild water pokemon..

End of part 1​

Part 2​

A part of you sighs with relief as you come upon the Golden Rod city entrance, your pokemon are tired and so are you. At the same time you are looking for answers as to what the cloaked man is up to.. And finally you find them, at the entrance you notice what appears to be a pokemon ranger and a bunch of trainers heading the pokemon center.. You decide that those trainers may be the Dex holders and then you decide to follow them from behind buildings and what not.

As you walk behind one building though and get closer to the pokemon center you see an older man in a white lab coat fumbling a folder and drop a bunch of papers to the ground.. You quickly run over to help him... As the man thanks you, you realize that the person in front of you is none other the Proffsor Elm himself.

"My gosh sonny what happened to you" He said noticing the battle marks and torn clothing from the cloaked man. You hesitate but you figure maybe he knows what is going on, and you tell him about meeting this man. Elm stands there shocked for a minute... looks you over up and down, and then smiles... He then pulls a small red machine from his lab coat.

"Well then I had a spare one, and it would only seem right since you appear to be caught in this mess also" he says as you realize it is a pokedex. You thank the man for his kindness and ask him what is going on.

"Hmm follow me to the pokemon center, there I will introduce you to the others, and then everything will be explained!" he says before setting off towards the center but at the lat moment you hear the cries of the townspeople and look over to see Tauro charging through the streets... One quickly turns towards you and Elm and you quickly react by having one of your pokemon attack it.

Tauros:

After you defeat the Tauros you start to wonder why they reacted in such a manner when there usually calm.. Finally Elm leads you into the center and you and him stand in front of the front desk as the others slowly enter in. Elms face quickly turns into an upset manner, and you start to wonder why...

[Charizard_Man]

His eyes lightly fluttered as rays of sunshine fell through the tall branches of the trees that formed a sort of roof, blocking the vast azure sky. The luscious chartreuse leaves of the trees swayed gently in the wind as the bird pokemon poised on the branches chirped blissfully, making the environment so peaceful and amiable. The floor bathed in silhouettes casted by the tree branch shadows and small amount light seeping through them.

His foot steps were silent, the cold wind whipping around his body. His pokemon followed loyally, this was the first time his pokemon were all out at the same time. Tyrogue sat quietly on his shoulder, eating a sandwich. Sprink and Taro waddled besides his, keeping a vigilant eye. Hoot gracefully floated above him, scanning their surroundings.

Several wild pokemon came near, mostly dark types, what a surprise. Sprink and Togo quickly took care of them, he had departed Lizzy outside of the village. She decided to stay and try to find a Smoochum, he had other plans and the two parted ways.

His right eye popped open to peek over at the glowing figure besides him, the small pink Flaafy was startled as her body erupted in a burst of white light. Her form began to change drastically, as she grew taller all the while. Her pink coat changed color to become a vibrant yellow, her belly a bright white. She had a red jewel in her forehead, and a matching orb at the tip of her tail. Two small horns on her head and a pair of dark red, menacing eyes.

"Heh. Ampharos, eh?" He said as he flipped open his pokedex. He was impressed by the new evolution's levels, the boy grinned.

"Good work Ampharos." He smiled and rubbed his hand on her forehead, the pokemon grinning. The group of pokemon and trainer began to walk down the road again. The tranquil tunnel created by large trees, the tunnel full of cold wind. The boy scoffed,

"Ya know. I need to change your names, they just don't seem to fit anymore." The boy smirked at the pokemon, who in turn turned their heads in wonderment.

"Taro. You'll stay the same, since you were my first Pokemon and I'm quite fond of that name. As for you Noctowl, you'll be Yami. Ampharos, Amp. Tyrogue, you'll be Togo. Cause you liked those sandwiches Lizzy made so much." The boy smirked, the pokemon agreed with their names.

The road finally began to give way for a dusty brick trail, he quickly recalled his pokemon to prevent them from wandering off in this large city. He took off his earphones and let them hang around his neck as he passed the city limits, he turned to see a man wearing a crimson attire. The man stared him down, Damion doing the same with a deadly glare. He quickly turned his head, as did the man.

Damion walked into the city, hands shoved in his pockets, and looked around. The road was a dusty trail of fading bricks, towering skyscrapers seemed to peer down at the boy. He was amazed, he was used to small farm towns like Pallet...or NewBark.

"WAAHH! RUN!!"

"HOLY CRAP!! THEIR HUGE!!"

The many screeching voices of city folk were heard as they ran down the roads, some into their homes and other past Damion.

"Oi! Kid, can't you see their are freakin Tauros rampaging!!" A balding man screamed out, Damion smirked and enlarged a pokeball.

"Oh yeah. I see 'em." The boy's eyes widened as a bolt of energy shook his very brain, a sound wave shook inside his head. A familiar voice shook his head, the boy closed his eyes as the man spoke.

"I know about the Tauros, I'm sending you some back up now." The man's voice was blunt and cool, he boy scoffed as puddles of dark violet liquid began to form around him. The boy didn't really need help, but whatever. Several tall figures appeared, their black cloaks shielding their faces. He heard several footsteps and turned to see two other trainers,

"What are you doing here?!" Damion questioned. A girl with warm brown hair smiled and gave a piece sign, another boy with black hair scoffed.

"We're part of this to." Damion's eyes widened at this statement, Damion scoffed right back.

"It's okay gramps. I've got this." Damion gave a large, devious smile as he poked the boy's face. Damion's crimson eyes staring into the two dex holder's dark eyes. Despite the two dex holders being much older than him, he didn't need help from them. He knew these two didn't want to be his friends, if they did. They would've tried a long time ago...

"So what's wrong with these things?!" Damion heard one of them yell out, a tall figure with a masculine build spoke up with a gruff voice.

"It must be Team Rocket! Those idiots are up to their same old crap again, morons don't know when to quit!" The man scowled. Damion scowled,

"Well looks like they've created quite a bit of chaos, if you ask me they've done their jobs. Don't seem like a bunch of idiots at all." Damion smirked at the man, who just growled. Damion loved to bug people, it was fun.

Just then, a group of Tauros broke off from the main stampede and rushed the group of dark members. Damion immediately changed demeanors, reverted back to his normal calm and calculative self.

"I'll take two!" The boy yelled out with a serious tone and leaped out of the group, he threw two pokeballs down at the floor as a dazzle of light and smoke appeared.

"Togo! Taro!!" He shouted, releasing his two pokemon. Tog immediately began to thrust punches and kicks into the air and spin, Taro merely grunted and slammed his body onto the floor menacingly.

"Taro, use Dark Pulse to divert two of them our way." Damion said calmly as he flicked a bit of hair out of his eyes, the silver Pupitar's gaining a dark tint and releasing a wave of dark energy that traveled through the floor and quickly splashed up and strike two of the normal type pokemon.

The duo of Tauros snorted out heavily, and glared at the pokemon. Damion and both of his pokemon gained a cocky grin, which caused the normal types to savagely run at the two. He smirked as he grabbed his pokedex from his waist and flipped it open,

"They're both using Horn Attack. Togo, use Counter. Taro, Rock Slide." Damion swiftly commanded. Both pokemon dashed out of their starting positions, leaving a cloud of dust where they once stood. Togo swiftly managed to grab Tauros by the horns and push him back, while Taro moved out of Tauros' way as he rampaged by. As soon as the normal type missed Taro, he summoned a large boulder from underneath Tauros which managed to launch the normal pokemon a few yards back.

Meanwhile, Togo pushed back Tauros by the horn and quickly leaped over the bull. Togo managed to successfully flip Tauros, and now launched the Tauros back towards the first one. Both pokemon fumbled to their feet and snorted, Togo and Taro snickered to themselves.

The first Tauros opened his dark eyes and glared at the two pokemon, a dark violet covering both of Togo and Taro's eyes. The pokemon were in an illusion, seeing the Tauros and the most frightening thing ever. Taro saw a large clown with a maniacal laugh and surgical scissors. Togo saw a bear grab his sandwiches and run off, as both pokemon were frozen in horror the second Tauros began to make his way towards them.

"Crap. Scary Face and Rage, nice combo." The boy clenched his teeth as he watched the Tauros ram his head and horns into Taro and running away with the dark pokemon stuck on his horns. The second Tauros quickly doing the same as he carried off Togo on his horn, both normal type pokemon wildly thrashed the pokemon's bodies around.

"Quick, Taro use Stone Edge!! Togo, Substitute!"

The first Tauros was quickly shot down towards the floor by an onslaught of sharp stones that dug into his brown fur, Taro quickly leaped back and continued to send wave after wave of sharp stones. The second Tauros continued to thrash around, but suddenly stopped as he looked up. It was a stuffed doll of Togo, with buttons for eyes and a stitched mouth.

Togo smirked as he sat on top of the Tauros, he brought up his fist as it gained a dark red hue. The Tyrogue brought down the hand and slammed it on the pokemon's back. The Tauros quickly falling to the floor, the first Tauros regained his stature and slammed his tail against Togo continuously. Togo raised his small arms and attempted to block the Tail Whip,

"Taro, Thrash!!" Damion smirked as the Pupitar launched his body against the normal type and began to thrash around violently, slamming against Tauros' face and legs. The Tauros collapsed on the floor, swirls in his eyes. The second Tauros snorted out and went thrashing towards the two pokemon,

"That's pursuit. Taro, trap him with Rock Slide!!" The Pupitar grunted as he summoned five tall pillars of dark rubble, the slabs of earth slammed against Tauros. The imprisoned normal type flinched,

"Heh. Pokeball, go!" Damion threw an empty pokeball, the sphere opened and sucked the normal type inside. The ball fell to the floor and fell to the dusty floor, the sphere began to nudge on the floor. Damion turned around, the other battles were just about done.

He turned back to the ball...

Cairne walked into the brick streets of Goldenrod. Everything followed the same color pattern and it was a pain on the eyes. Cairne could hear loud click-clacking coming at him from far away in the city. In the distance Cairne could see a cloud of dust comming up hehind a speeding wall of brown.

"Dont worry kid I got it covered." Cairne heard the cloaked mans voice echo in his mind. All of a sudden a group of people appeared directly next to Cairne each with a Pokemon at their side. "Back up kid." Each of them charged at the wall which now had taken form as a group of Pokemon. Cairne pulled out his Pokedex.

Tauros

"Omen! Ripe! Let's go!" Cairne yelled tossing out the two balls as he noticed two seperate Tauros charging him at once. "Ripe, you use Gust and Omen, you use your Razor Wind!" Cairne yelled and both his Pokemon launched blasts of air that slowed the charging Pokemon. "Great! Now use Razor Leaf and Razor Wind!" Cairne yelled and Ripe shot a blast of sharp leaves while Omen boosted their speed with a huge blast of wind.

"TAAAUR!" One of the bulls screamed as it was slammed with the leaves. The other dodged it and slammed into Ripe knocking it into a wall. It repeatitively smashed into Ripe with its horns tossing him around like a rag doll.

"Use Stomp Ripe!" Cairne yelled and Ripe tried to smash its foot down on Tauros. The bull Pokemon leaped back and slammed Ripe in the head with its tail. Ripe fell to the ground unonscious and the Tauros continue slamming into it with its horns. "Return Ripe! Go Slash!" Cairne tossed out the ball containing his new Pokemon.

The other Tauros had came too and the two began to charge at Cairnes two Pokemon. "Mud Shot at his foot Slash! Pursuit at the other Tauros!" Cairne commanded and his Pokeon went into action. Slash shot a blast of mud at the Tauros' foot and he slammed to the ground on his own face, mean while on the opposite side while the other Tauros was distracted Omen smashed into its side.

"Great job you two!" Cairne yelled as the Tauros who had taken the most abuse went unconscious unto the now damaged brick street. " Icy Wind and Razor Wind you two!" Cairne commanded and his Pokemon shot a blast of icy air that was shot even faster at the Tauros slowed it down.

"Now Scratch attack!" Cairne screamed and Omen dashed at Tauros bringing its claws down on Tauros' face and knocking it out. Cairne smiled and returned his two Pokemon. He looked around and noticed that all the other members had dissapeared except for a select few, other dex holders!"

Cairne and the other dex holders approched the nearby Pokemon Center and standing outside was Elm with a worried expression on his face.

"He has no idea!" Cairne said laughing.

Part 1

As you approach Elm you notice the upset look on his face and you know it cannot be good… You also then notice some new kid standing next to him…

"Everyone before we get into the meeting, I would like you to meet Lucas, he is a Pokemon trainer and seems to be caught in the middle of everything, so I have made him an honorary Dex Holder" Elm says introducing Lucas and then he quickly rushes you into the meeting room and as you all take a seat you look around to see a lot of older trainers sitting at a table in the front. Six of them to be exact. Each of them have this look to them, this feel, and just from looking at them you can tell they have been through more then you have. They have seen far worse things then you have, and they have survived tougher opponents then you have.

Elm walks to the front along with them and starts to speak. "First off we have some bad news… Bugsy has been found outside of the Ilex forest.. he was murdered" he says looking to the ground very upset. He gives you a minute to soak this news in. "That is why you are here right now, my colleagues here feel it is time for the truth, so let me get to introductions" Elm says as the first person stands up. It is an older women in about her 60's, she is about 5'2 and has a lighter tan skin. Her hair lays at about her shoulders and it is white. Her face looks very calm though at this moment. "Everyone this here is Angela Taveres, as most of you can tell be the last name this is Cairnes grandmother." Elm says before allowing her to speak.

"Seeing you young trainers remind me of when I was younger, although I faced much worse, it's good that you are here today" she says then taking a seat. Elm then walks to the center again. As the next person in line stands up, but you already have met this man. "Everyone you already know this is Grecko Rage" Elm says as Grecko then steps forward.

"I am glad to see everyone has made it here safely" he says with a stern expression before sitting back down. Elm then centers himself again as another man stands up, this man seems to be around the same age as the last two early 60's. He stands about 5ft 6, he has messy dark hair and his facial expression is that of someone very amused right now but at the same time a sinister look. He is wearing a black long sleeve shirt and jeans. "Everyone this is Shaun Tess" He then stands up quickly.

"Well… yeah congrats on getting here" he says before sitting down.. You feel a stirring of emotions as you recognize both the face and the voice.... It's the man in the cloak you realize as he winks at you…Elm then centers once again as the next person to stand up is much taller then the rest, he is about 6'2, he has a somewhat athletic build to him and his hair reaches down to about the length of his neck, it is a faded blonde color. He also has a goatee, and wears a black suit with a black hat to match. "Everyone this is Gage Taveres also Cairnes Grandfather" Elm says.

"Welcome everyone" He says before taking a seat back down. The next man to stand up is a little older then the previous four he is about in his early 80's. And uses a cane to walk around. He wears a black cape and has gray short spiky hair. "Everyone this is Lance, former Kanto League Champion"

"Hmph, I can sense some of you feel unsure about things right now.." he says before sitting back down. Elm then comes forward one more time. As another older women stands up she seems to be in about her 70's. She is wearing some kind of bright white uniform with lightning bolts on it. Her face is full of wrinkles and what not and you can tell she has been through much stress related incidents in her time. "Everyone this is Sly, She is the last remaining Kanto beginning Trainer from the same year with Beo and Zypher" He says as you all are in shock to hear that. (For those of you who had the nightmare you now know where you heard the name Zypher) Sly slowly walks to the front.

"It is my pleasure to be here with you all today" she pauses taking a second to breathe. "Standing in front of you are the last remaining heroes of the past, and members of the Clan of Hope, the group that fought against Beo and his Dark Brotherhood. That is why you are here" she pauses again, you can start to tell she is not well in her old age. She then continues, "We believe that the current situation in Johto is the result of a resurrected Dark Brotherhood, who is behind it, we currently do not know…. As for what his plans are all we can say is that it is not good for Johto or the world" she says pausing again. "Today is will be known as the day we resurrect the clan of hope, and fight back.. you have done your jobs thus far, which is why we are now giving you this information" she says as she looks down to Grecko who then stands up.

He pulls out a picture of a tiny fairy like Pokemon. "This here is Celebi the time travel Pokemon, in my day I made very close friends with her and till this day we have shared a bond… A few nights ago though the bond vanished, I can no longer feel her presence in Johto… A part of me fears that the Dark Brotherhood is going to use her to find Giratina's and Darkrais Pokemon balls… and then they will unleash the darkness once again." He pauses for a moment allowing you sometime to soak everything they have just said up.

Gage then stands up "In other words, we must not fail to find and stop this new leader of the Brotherhood, whoever he is… he mustn't be allowed to find those Pokemon balls." He says as Lance stands up.

"The best thing for all of you to do right now is continue your gym battles, we will work on locating this new threat… Once we know something we shall contact you, just keep your guards up…" Lance says as Shaun quickly jumps in.

"Yes don't not let your guard down for one moment, the darkness works in mysterious ways, we wouldn't want any of you to get lost in it" he says with a smirk. As Sly then stands back up.

"Well I'd say go take a good nights rest, and go for that next gym badge bright and early this is your first mission as a member of the Clan of Hope: To get the gym badge, and protect Whitney" she says as she then dismisses the meeting.

In your mind you can hear Shauns voice echo. " We finally meet! Ignore that fool Sly, go straight to the gym, I want you to do whatever you can to wound her strongest Pokemon, that is your first mission... And get to sleep early tonight you might be woken quite... Rudely..."

(Highlighted differences for you lazy pplz, speak to any champion of the past you wish also feel free to take care of any deposists or whatever you can at the Pokemon Center or whatever you want)

Part Two
Plain meets Pain
(YAY INGENIOUS TITLE!)

After healing your Pokemon at the center you decide its about time you challenge Whitney in her gym. Outside the Gym door is a tall man standing guard.

"I'm sorry Ms. Whitney isn't taking any challengers at the moment, move on..." The man says to you without even looking down.

"Say this and exactly this, Darkness has a way of keeping the dead alive." Shauns voice echoes through your head. You repeat this statement to the tall man and he steps asside without another word. Inside the walls are decorated with flower boxes with contrast oddly to the plain white bricks laid all about the gym.

"Well hi there cutey!" You here a voice and in front of you stands a pink haired woman of average height. She smiles and waves at you happily. She is wearing an outfit of pink and white and her hair is perfectly straightened. "You're here a little late aren't you? I guess you must be just another one of those eager beavers excited for a battle! I can't blame you!" She winks.

"All my other Pokemon are exhausted from a long day of battling so I'm sorry to say I will be using my strongest Pokemon against you if you don't mind!" She smiles and pulls out two Pokemon balls. "Eeny Meenie Minee Mo!" She points at the one ball, "Okay you first!" She says throwing it out.

When you defeat both Pokemon be sure to not that they are severly injured and that Whitney needs to leave and immediatly attend to their wounds. She awards you the badge and when you leave the gym its dark outside. You sneak quickly back into the Pokemon Center and following Shauns directions go to sleep earlier than you normally would.

Part 3

It's late at night and you feel wind rushing by your body, you open your eyes to see complete darkness. You hear footsteps somewhere but still cant see a thing. All of a sudden a giant light turns on and there in front of you is a person in a black cloak wearing a mask. (The mask will look differently depending on who you are and your personallity and the cloak will be different colors). All of a sudden another light turns on and behind the masked person is a loved on of yours in a cage screaming for help.

Laughing comes from the masked person and yet it is muffled. They hold up an odd black Pokemon ball and throw it down to the ground.

The mystery trainers Pokemon will morph into any Pokemon you put out except it will emit a dark aura and will be colored much darker. Their Pokemon will annihilate all of yours until they start taunting you and telling you they are going to kill everyone you love. You let your rage go and you completely destroy the persons Pokemon until it cant even move. You charge the trainer and rip the mask from their face to see something quite shocking.

The person underneath the mask is you.... The other you has a giant smile spread across its face and it is laughing histerically. You back off and realize the person in the cage is getting as close to the corner as they can in fear. You place your palms in you face and begin to have a major break down.

"Enough!" You hear Shauns voice say and your surrounding fade around you. You pull your face away from your hands and look around. You are in a twisted version of the Pokemon Center and around you stand four Hypno. " Another test that you passed with flying colors my yound friend. The other trainers are curently distracted and shouldnt notice your gone at the moment... The Pokemon Center is currently... In a state of ruin...." He laughs out loud. "Try your best to not stick out alright?!" He says as he snaps his fingers and you strike the ground right in front of the burning Pokemon Center. To your left and right are your possesions. Behind you you hear a voice.


"It seems there has been an attempt on our lives tonight… we must work quicker to figure this out… Come now we have been invited to stay at the Bill's house for the remainder of the night. In the morning you will continue your mission and training." He says as you follow them down the road abit and around a few blocks. Once there you notice a man standing in his PJ's.. He is an older man roughly about 60 or so.


"Welcome Clan of Hope please follow me, I am Bill the PC inventor, I am glad to have you staying with me for the night!" He says bringing you to a seperate room along with the other Dex holders. As you lie awake in the bed you hink to yourself. Is this the right thing? Am I making the right choices? What did that nightmare really mean?

Part 4

As you open your eyes and look around you realise that most of the other Dex Holders had completely left early. Today is a free day in town and a free post. Venture wherever you wish and do whatever you want, the day is yours!

Post 2​

As you stand up from you seat you can now go up and talk to these so called former "heroes of the past" and have a private conversation.

After your conversation you then receive a key to your room from the nurse after healing your pokemon. As you lay in bed you start to realize what it is you exactly have gotten yourself into from that first day at Elm's lab… Although there is still some unknown things that not even Sly herself or any of the clan of hope are aware of. You slowly start to drift asleep.. Later that evening you are abruptly woken up to the sounds of a loud explosion as the whole ground shakes angrily beneath you. You grab your items and exit your room only to find that the pokemon center was bombed, and it is now burning to the ground.. You quickly make your way out and see a bunch of cloaked men in white. One of them approaches you. It's time for a battle:

Trainers pokemon:

Umbreon lvl 26
Moves: quick attack, pursuit, tackle, tail whip

Loudred lvl 27
Moves: Supersonic, howl, bite, pound

Gliscor lvl 30
Moves: Screech, Faint attack, Fury Cutter, Knock off.

After you defeat the trainer he vanishes. As you look around you see the other dex holders are standing outside of it (the good guys) and the Heroes of the Past are all there except for Shaun. At the moment though you do not realize anything. You watch and help out as The Heroes of the Past quickly douse the fire and save what is left of the pokemon center. Grecko then approaches you…

Post 3​

The next morning you wake up from a rough nights sleep and you see everyone else in the room is awaking to. As you awaken Grecko and Gage wish you a good morning as they tell you all to go to the gym and get your battles in.

As you approach the gym you notice a man standing guard in front the entrance. You all make your way there but as you get close he quickly stops you. "I am sorry but it is currently unsafe for Whitney to have any battles at the moment. She is checking on her pokemon that were badly injured earlier today, and is making some substitutions. You will have to come back later on. He says as you decide you might as well explore the town and come back a bit later.

This is a free post, feel free to explore and make use of the many attractions in the city such as the Radio station! And the underground stores!

Post 4​

You return to the gym later that night to find that the man standing guard is no longer around. You make your entrance into the gym and find the arena to be covered in brick flooring to make paths and Flower boxes scattered in a certain postion. You finally make your way to Whitney and find an older women wearing a white and Pink outfit with a very light shade of Pink hair. She then tells you to get ready for a good battle!

After you defeat Whitney she thanks you for the great battle and then you feel your phone start to vibrate, you look down to see it is Grecko calling you.

"Krad…What do you think he was talking about, this "plan" that he was working on, and how did we get here?", Lucas said quietly, thinking. Krad closed his eyes briefly, before opening them and shrugging. "Damn, this is frustrating…Wait, what other trainers was he talking about, and they all had pokedexes apparently?", at that point, both trainer and pokemon rubbed their heads, confused. Could they have been a part of that guy's plan…?

After that thought ran through his head, Lucas couldn't handle the thoughts anymore, deciding to just go on ahead with his journey, like nothing had happened. Raising his head, Lucas saw the sign that read, "Route 33, Goldenrod City", and narrowed his eyes, It looks like forgetting just won't be possible. There's a gym leader in that city, I'll make sure that whoever it is will be properly prepared for those cloaked guys, Lucas thought.

"Krad, let's get going. We might be able to get to that gym leader before the cloaked guy does, so let's hustle!", Lucas said, setting a fast walking pace for himself. Not too long after setting off, the duo came across a large pond, with several water pokemon walking along the shore, swimming in the pond, and sleeping on the bottom. While walking past, Lucas gazed down at the pond, intrigued by all the life in it. That's a whole lot of pokemon, looks like this is a pretty relaxing area…huh? Lucas spotted a couple of crab like pokemon, staring each other down. A fight seemed ready to start. Sure enough, both pokemon launched into their own attacks, Metal Claw, and Bubblebeam. Metal Claw Krabby couldn't hold his own against the Bubblebeam Krabby, and was knocked into the pond in a hurry. Lucas sweat dropped at the outcome. But, it looked like the other Krabby hadn't finished yet, as it had turned towards Lucas and Krad, releasing another Bubblebeam in their direction.

"Hey, what're you attacking us for!? Krad, you don't have to fight this time, I'll use Spade!", Lucas dodged the incoming bubbles, and tossed a pokeball on the ground. Spade appeared in a flash, and instantly went into a Tackle attack. The Krabby smirked, and shot out another round of bubbles at the incoming pokemon. Spade winced at the super effective attack, pausing temporarily. The Krabby took the opportunity to shoot another set of bubbles at the pained pokemon. "Spade! Don't let yourself get caught in its' attacks! Pull through it! Rollout!", Spade opened his eyes, then narrowed them when faced towards the Krabby. One set of bubbles came near…dodged! Another round, dodged! Finally Spade picked up enough speed, and launched into a Rollout. As the next set of bubbles come into contact with Spade's rolling exterior, it had little to no effect! Spade gave a loud cry, before his entire body lit up. Lucas and Krad stared in surprise, the Krabby did the same.

"DON-PHAN!", Spade roared as the light cleared, leaving a larger, grayer, more…tuscular(is that a word…?), pokemon where a Phanpy once stood/rolled. Spade gained more and more speed, likely a result of the evolution, and slammed into the surprised crab, sending it into the pond to join the other Krabby. The new Donphan grinned coolly at his victory.

"Alright, Spade! What're you now…Oh well, at least you evolved in the first place! I'll find out sooner or later, I suppose, come on, let's go", Lucas said grinning before returning Spade to his pokeball. Krad nodded, and began jogging with Lucas.

Not long into the run, a set of buildings came into sight, Goldenrod City. Dammit, I'm getting tired! Oh well, I'll inform that gym leader before those guys can get to her!

 

[{Swan}]

The moment the bright ball came to a standstill Liliana let out a little squeal of joy. She called Abu back to his ball and brought out the newly acquired Absol. She looked at Liliana for a little bit with the bright green eyes with curiosity. Eventually she seemed to decide that Lili was good enough for her and sat down, still staring.

"Well, I suppose you need a name. How about… Zazu? No that doesn't suit you. Iago? No not really either." Lili had to think about this for a second before the correct name made itself known. "Sarabi, you're perfect for a Sarabi!" Those big eyes just kept staring at her, but she seemed content enough so Lili just took it as an agreeing. Suddenly there was a shout from behind her.

"You!"

She turned around to face a boy with black hair and very dark skin. Beside him hovered a Masquerain with a fierce look. To Liliana's horror she knew this boy. It was the same one she kind of sort of stole Djali from. "You were the one who stole my Shinx!" There you go. "I demand a battle!"

"You know if I give you one you won't get the Shinx back, right? What's your name, anyway?" Liliana asked him just to make sure. "Yeah, well whatever. My name is Gray" Was the response she got. "At least I'd get the satisfaction of beating you!" She had expected him to give his Masquarain a command bit instead he sent out a Kirlia. The perfect way to see exactly what Sarabi could do.

"Sarabi, let us see you take this one down, okay?" Sarabi nodded before jumping toward the Kirlia with the strange grace she possessed. She seemed strong and ready even after she had just been knocked out of a tree. It was rather strange, but Liliana decided that she was going to give her one of the magic mushrooms she had picked in the Well anyway. Somehow she knew that Sarabi wasn't as fit as she looked to be. What a strange creature that was, even in an ordinary situation Sarabi still managed to look all-knowing and intimidating. The strange colouring didn't help either.

"Kirlia use Psychic!" Psychic! Liliana thought in alarm, that meant that it was stronger than she had expected it to be. Kirlia's eyes glowed a strange redish-pink and so did the outlines of Sarabi's body, but nothing happened. Psychic attacks did nothing to a dark type like an Absol.

"Sarabi, start with razor wind!"

"Kirlia, counter it with magical leaf," Gray called out. Sarabi's crescent glowed white as she powered up the strong move. In the mean time Kirlia used its psychic energy to lift up a couple of leaves on the ground, make them tout with the energy and waited for Sarabi's attack. She answered the wait by firing a couple of glowing scythes toward Kirlia. The moment the attack was released the Kirlia shot all of its leaves toward the scythes. Gray did not foresee, however, that the razor wind would just slice the leaves in two. The attack hit Kirlia straight on, but it just got itself together fast and waited for the command of its master.

"Kirlia, use double team and the magical leaf." Kirlia obeyed Gray and circled Sarabi with copies of itself. Once that was done all of the copies used psychic energy to propel leaves at her. This was different than Falkner's trick. Staravia's copies couldn't actually harm Nala then, but Kirlia's copies weren't the ones attacking. The one real Kirlia was somewhere between them summoning up all the leaves and pretending the clones to do it. So actually it was a massive attack from all directions with no way for Sarabi to spot the real wrongdoer.

She tried in vain to jump out of the way of the sharp leaves. But in vain isn't there for nothing and she had evaded a good two before one hit her and then all of them hit her. Then Kirlia just started again. Liliana had to do something about this, and she had to do it fast.

The trick was that it seemed as if all the Kirlia just got their own leaves separately, but that wasn't so. Somewhere there must be one of them concentrating extremely hard to levitate those leaves. No matter how light or small they were, such a trick required quite some effort. Liliana concentrated hard to look at each and every one of the Kirlia to see if one of them seemed the least bit strained.

Then she saw it. The Kirlia to the north-north-west of Sarabi closed its eyes a tiny bit for a small moment while levitating the leaves. That one had to be it. "Sarabi!" Liliana pointed at the real Kirlia. "That's the one you want!" Before any of the magical leaf attacks could hit Sarabi plunged into a quick attack and hit the Kirlia. The creature did not seem to have a particular high defense because that hit combined with the razor wind before that had tired it considerably.

Gray seemed to have noticed this too and decided to pull out another trick out of his little hat. "Kirlia use teleport and then magical leaf." Was that the only move it could use? Wait it was. Teleport, double team, psychic and magical leaf… She felt kind of stupid now.

"Sarabi, use pursuit!" That was what the move was all about, right? Going after an escaping foe. Sarabi jumped into what seemed to be mid air with a strange and dark aura around her. When Liliana just started to think that Absol had missed it hit something. The Kirlia crashed into the ground painfully, the dark attack had been enough to down it. It couldn't continue.

"Well, I guess I've won again," Liliana said tauntingly.

"Wait this isn't over!" Gray almost sounded desperate to beat her, but she remembered Grecko's words, she had to get to the Center ASAP. "Sorry, Gray, but I need to go, we'll meet again. My names Liliana by the way, just in case you were wondering." With that she started strolling toward the big city if Goldenrod, anxious about what was so urgent.

The moment she came in sight of Goldenrod she knew something was different. Sarabi, who was walking next to her now, stiffened up instantly. Her being an Absol, that was bad news. Also there was the fact that she was hearing faint cries of panic. Not a good thing. She started to sprint toward the city, but stopped dead in her tracks the moment she saw. A herd of Tauros rampaging toward her. Definitely not a good thing.

There was that voice of the cloaked man in her head again. "I know about the stampede and I am sending you come backup now. Suddenly a couple of shadows crept up to reveal a few trainers in white. She wasn't very happy to recognize the guy that appeared closest to her. It was the Spiritomb guy. The jackass that had delivered her that letter. Great luck, Lili, great luck.

At the sight of her he chuckled. She heard someone else say "This must be one of Team Rocket's old tricks again, those idiots never know when to give up!" She didn't have a lot of time to pay attention to the guy before two Tauros charged right at her.

"Sarabi, use quick attack!" At the same time she reached for the Pokéball and retrieved Nala. "Nala, use magical leaf!" Both of her Pokémon were battling their own Tauros. Sarabi successfully hit hers with a quick attack and as always Nala's magical leaf hit its mark. The Tauros battling Nala got her back with a nasty horn attack that hit her square in the chest and it threw her up in the air a little bit. Her landing was nasty, but she got up again. The other Tauros did the exact same to Sarabi, but she evaded it successfully and without a command from Lili hit it with a scratch attack.

Beside her the guy was battling his own set of Tauros. He no longer had a Spiritomb instead fighting for him now were a Murkrow and an Aron. He glanced at her and grinned. "Didn't have time to introduce myself last time, beauty, my name's Tristan. But of course I already know yours. I knew you had it in you. Aron, use iron tail," he turned back to his Pokémon, but not before Lili had thrown him one of her famous master glares.

"Sarabi I want you to use razor leaf, Nala try to slow yours down with a poison powder!" Nala got close enough to the Tauros to send him the little poisonous powder but in return she got hit by an angry rage attack. The poison seemed to slow it down a little, but now a whole lot. Sarabi had been charging up a razor wind and released it now. Her Tauros got thrown back by the impact and landed against Nala's Tauros, sending it down with it. They both stood up again, but Nala's was badly limping now and Sarabi's was panting.

"Nice one, Anna, two flies in one sweep! So I heard you beat Johannes' Steelix this time!" He chuckles again before telling his Murkrow to use wing attack. Liliana decided to ignore him and focus on her own battle.

"Sarabi, use razor wind again, Nala I want you to poison Sarabi's Tauros also," the moment Liliana said this both Pokémon immediately obeyed her. Nala jumped in front of Tauros while Sarabi was charging her move. The moment the Tauros inhaled the poison, however, he went almost blind with rage and so used that attack to throw both Nala and Sarabi out of the way. Liliana could hear a tsk-noise coming from the right, but she didn't have the energy to say something to Tristan.

Sarabi was badly damaged by this and she looked almost on the edge. But as she did she still looked tall and proud. Without a command from Lili she rushed at the Tauros with a quick attack, she hit it just on the side by its belly and as she did so she managed to tip it over. The already poisoned Tauros was struggling to get up, but in the end he couldn't do it.

Nala, in the mean time, was patiently waiting for a command as she dodged her foe's horn attacks. "Nala I want you to tackle it with all of your weight!" Liliana had gotten the idea from Sarabi's previous attack. Nala did what was asked, she had to quickly jump away from Tauros' dangerous hornes before hitting the thing as hard as she could. This Tauros also tipped over and couldn't get up. She didn't call back her Pokémon however, in fear that the Tauros would get up again.

Tristan finished up his last Tauros with his Aron's metal claw attack. "Well, I got to go now Anna, nice meeting you again! I would have loved to stay and chat but we got strict orders. Nice Absol you got there anyway, always a good thing to have around." He winked at her, but didn't give her time to respond. "Don't worry, sweetheart, I'll stop by again!" with that he disappeared. She saw he was one of the last ones to leave and then there was just her and the other trainers from Professor Elm. Well the ones that had chosen her side. The Tauros now all ran away for a strange reason.

She looked around in vain, but she already knew Sahib would never choose this side. It was part of the choice she made. But it seemed that the guy in black wanted them to join the group again. She had to admit it felt like a relief to know she would see him again, it was nice to have a friend in all this. Even if she was on the wrong side of "all this". But she had to admit, she was afraid to see him also, afraid that he or Elm or anyone would guess what she had done. Yes, she felt a bit ashamed of herself.

The moment they approached the Center something was wrong. Elm looked like he had been worried sick. But she also knew that he didn't suspect a thing. With that Liliana released a breath that she hadn't been aware she had been holding and called her Pokémon back in their balls to heal in the Center. Whatever it was that had been so important, well, she would find out now.

As Sahib approached Elm, he felt a sick feeling grow in the pit of his stomach. There was a rather upset look on Elm's face. This, obviously, meant that there was in fact more "good" news. His eyebrow rose as he noticed some new kid standing next to Elm. Who the hell is he? Sahib wondered, but didn't voice this question.

"Everyone before we get into the meeting, I would like you to meet Lucas, he is a Pokémon trainer and seems to be caught in the middle of everything. So, I have made him an honorary…well, member of your group," Elm declared, basically introducing Lucas in that quick time span. Sahib eyed him suspiciously; he didn't trust the kid…especially after what had happened to them all. Elm then quickly rushed them all into the room, where they each took a seat. Sahib stared at the older looking trainers who were sitting at a table in the front. There were six of them, to be exact. Each of the trainers had an aura about them that made Sahib vaguely respect them. He knew, somehow, that those trainers before him had seen worse things than he had so far.

"First off, we have some bad news…Bugsy has been found outside of the Ilex Forest…he was murdered," Elm murmured, more to the ground than them. Sahib looked at the table before him, remembering the Weavile for some reason. Elm paused, and then finally continued. His voice sounded weary. "That is why you are here right now. My colleagues here feel it is time for the truth, so allow me to get to introductions," Elm said. The first person stood up. It was an older woman. She looked to be in about her 60s. Her height was about 5'2" and her skin was a light tan. Her hair laid to about her shoulders and was white. She looked rather calm. "Everyone, this here is Angela Taveres. As most of you can tell because of the last name, this is Cairne's grandmother." Elm stopped, allowing her to speak.

"Seeing you young trainers remind me of when I was younger, although I faced much worse. It's good that you are here today," she said in an old voice. Then she took her seat. Elm walked to the center again. As he did so, the next person in line stood up. Sahib immediately recognized him—Grecko.

"Everyone you already know, but this is Grecko Rage," Elm said. Grecko stepped forward.

"I am glad to see everyone has made it here safely," Grecko said with a stern expression upon his face. That was all, and then he sat down. Sahib, for some reason, found himself glancing at Lili. She…Sahib thought, a frown upon his face. Oh jeez, I'm going senile even though I'm just a kid, Sahib thought, shaking his head and zoning back in. Elm had centered himself once more, and now a man who appeared to be the same age as the others stood. He was about 5'6", reminding Sahib of his mother's height. He had dark and messy hair. His facial expression was that of someone who seemed very amused…yet sinister. He was wearing a black long sleeved shirt and jeans.

"Everyone, this is Shaun Tess," Elm said.

"Well…yeah, congrats on getting here," he said. Shaun then quickly sat back down. Sahib didn't like this guy…not one bit. He seemed just as evil as the guy in the cloak did. Elm went to the center once more. The next person in line stood up. He was much taller than the rest. Sahib found he was the same height as the man…or, at least possibly an inch or so shorter. Sahib reasoned that would make the man about 6'2". He had an athletic build, and his hair reached down the length of his neck. It was a faded blonde color. He had a goatee as well. The man was donning a black suit with a black hat to match. Sahib's eyebrow rose at this.

"This is Gage Taveres…also Cairne's grandfather," Elm said.

"Welcome, everyone." That was all the man said before he took a seat back down. Sahib watched the next man stand up. He appeared a bit older than the rest. Sahib knew him though—Lance, the Dragon Master. He was a dead giveaway in his black cape and gray spiky hair. My dad battled him once, Sahib thought as he remembered the story. If I was stronger and he…man, I wish I was strong enough to battle him! Sahib thought almost desperately.

"Everyone, this is Lance…former Kanto League Champion."

"Hmm…I can sense some of you feel unsure about things right now…" Lance murmured. He then sat back down. Sahib glanced at the Dragon Master, and then looked away. He then found himself looking at Lili again. She didn't even seem to notice him. What the heck? Sahib wondered. He felt his stomach twist as the logic in his brain slowly began to creep up, telling him exactly what he didn't want to think. Sahib's teeth snapped shut as he shook his head slightly. Sahib would think about that later. Right now, he didn't want to assume the worst.

Then the next person stood up. It was another slightly older person. She was wearing some sort of bright white uniform with lightning bolts on it. Her face was full of wrinkles and whatnot, and Sahib could tell she had experienced some tough times. Elm glanced at her, and then said, "This is Sly, everyone. She is the last remaining Kanto trainer…that began with Beo and Zypher." Sahib's eyes widened slightly and he glanced at her again, with more interest this time. Sly slowly walked to the front, her age not really showing terribly badly in her walk.

"It is my pleasure to be here with you all today," she said. She then paused and took a second to take in a breath. "Standing in front of you are the last remaining heroes of the past, and members of the Clan of Hope. This is the group that fought against Beo…and his Dark Brotherhood. That is why you are here," she said. Though her age hadn't shown in her walk, it was slowly beginning to show in her speech with all of the pauses. Then she continued, "We believe that the…current situation in Johto is a result of the Dark Brotherhood resurrected…who is behind this, we do not know. As for what his plans are, all we can say is that it is not good for Johto…or the world," she said the last part quieter than the first. "Today will be known as the day we resurrect the Clan of Hope. Then we will proceed to fight back. You have done your jobs thus far, which is why we are now giving you this information," she stated. Sly glanced down to Grecko who then took his queue and stood up.

Grecko pulled out a picture of a green Pokémon. Sahib thought it resembled some sort of fairy, in a way. "This here is Celebi, the time travel Pokémon. In my day, I made very close friends with her. Till this day we have shared a bond…a few nights ago, the bond vanished. I can no longer feel her presence in Johto. A part of me fears that the Dark Brotherhood is going to use her to find Giratina and Darkrai's Pokeballs…and then, they will unleash the darkness once again." He paused, looking very solemn. He was obviously letting them all soak it in.

This time, it was Gage's turn. "In other words, we must not fail to find and stop this new leader of the Brotherhood, whoever he is…he musn't be allowed to find those Pokeballs." Lance stood up, but Sahib's mind was racing. And what if that man is in this room? Sahib wondered, eyeing Shaun in particular. He just gave Sahib a bad feeling.

"The best thing for all of you to do right now is continue your gym battles. We will work on locating this new threat. Once we know something we shall contact you…just keep your guards up," Lance said. Shaun quickly jumped in,

"Yes, do not let your guard down for one moment. The darkness works in mysterious ways, we wouldn't want any of you to get lost in it." There was a smirk on his face. Sahib's eyes narrowed. Sly then stood up once more.

"Well, I'd say go take a good night's rest, and go for that next gym badge bright and early! This is your first mission as a member of the Clan of Hope: get the gym badge, and protect Whitney," she said. Then, the meeting was dismissed. I'm not gonna let it happen again, Sahib thought, clenching his fist.

He walked through the sliding glass doors of the Pokemon center, Prof. Elm stood there. His face full of worry, and anxiety. Damion smirked, he doesn't suspect a thing. His eyes widened and noticed a young boy standing next to him,

"Everyone, before we get into the meeting I would like you to meet Lucas. He is a pokemon trainer who was caught in the cross fire of these current events, so I have made him an honorary dex holder!" The professor grinned as he introduced the new boy, Damion scoffed and walked passed the professor and the boy into the meeting room.

He pushed open the doors to see a large room open up to them, a round table situated in the middle with numerous swiveling chairs. In the back of the room was a rectangular table, where six people sat. These people were elderly, but they had this look on their face. Damion noticed the row of people were staring him down, the same way that ranger was.

Damion swiveled around and a chair and sat on it, the professor hurriedly made his way to the front of the room. He arranged a few papers and adjusted his glasses,

"Okay! First ff, we have some bad news...Bugsy was found outside of the Ilex Forest. He was murdered." Prof. Elm's voice was short and blunt, Damion couldn't believe it. He had murdered Bugsy, even after their promise. The boy growled,

"That's the reason I have assembled you all here, my colleagues feel it is time for the truth, so let me get to the introductions." The professor motioned over to the person sitting down, an elderly woman. She was about 60 and was rather short with tan skin, her silver hair cascaded down to her shoulder. Her stern face was quiet and calm,

"Everyone, this is Angela Taveres. This is also, Cairnes grandmother." Elm motioned over to the boy sitting down, Damion smirked. It was one of the dark brotherhood members.

"Seeing you young trainers remind me of when I was younger, although I faced much worse, it's good that you are here today" she promptly took a seat afterwards. The next man stood up, he seemed familiar.

"Everyone, you already have met this man. Grecko Rage." The man smirked, Damion scoffed.

"I am glad to see everyone has made it here safely." he said with a stern expression. Elm continued his introductions as another man stood up. He was in his early sixties and stood taller than most of them, having messy dark hair and an amused facial expression, he seemed full of life.

"This is Shaun Tess.."

"Well then. Congratulations on making your way here." The man smirked and winked at Damion, the boy closed his eyes in immediate recognition. He felt angry at the man, he hadn't kept his promise. No power....no friends....

"Everyone, this is Gage Taveres. Cairne's grandfather." Elm said, Damion looked up to see an extremely tall man with a faded blonde tint in his hair. The man spoke out as the next man stood up, he had gray, spiky hair and many wrinkles. His face was that of a philosopher, his cane in hand he stood up.

"Everyone. This is Lance, Lance Blackthorn. Former Kanto League Champion." Damion smirked, his grandfather had told stories to Damion about his battle with Lance. Then finally, a final woman stands. She has a face of a Wiseman, and the eyes of a scholar.

"This is Sly, she is the last remaining Kanto Beginning Trainer from the same year as Beo and Zypher." Damion's eyes widened, he heard nothing after that word. Zypher...Damion immediately froze and entered a flashback. The battle, the decaying buildings. The horrible screams, the shadow hands clawing into his skin. The blade that killed him...

"-the Clan of Hope, the group that fought against Beo and his Dark Brotherhood. That is why you are here." the elderly woman paused to catch her breath, Damion felt sorry for her. She was obviously not well, he was unsure if anyone else noticed.

"We believe that the current situation in Johto is the result of a resurrected Dark Brotherhood, who is behind it, we currently do not know…. As for what his plans are all we can say is that it is not good for Johto or the world" she says pausing again. "Today is will be known as the day we resurrect the clan of hope, and fight back.. you have done your jobs thus far, which is why we are now giving you this information" the woman sat down and motioned for the next man to stand up, Grecko did so.

He pulled out a small photograph of a tiny fairy pokemon, "For those of you who don't know, this is Celebi. The time traveler Pokemon, in my day I made very close friends with her and until this day we have shared a bonde...but a few nights ago the bond vanished, I can no longer feel her presence in Johto. A part of me fears that the Dark Brotherhood is going to use her to find Giratina and Darkrai's Pokeballs...and use them to unleash the darkness once more..." He paused for a moment, allowing the young trainers to soak up this outstanding information.

"In other words, we must not fail! We must find, and stop this new leader of the Dark brotherhood, we musn't allow him to find those pokeballs!" Gage yelled out, Lance slowly stood to his feet.

"The best thing for you to do right now is continue your gym challenge, we will work on locating this new threat. Once we know something we shall contact you, just keep your guards up." Shaun quickly stood up with a grin,

"Yes, don't let your guard down for one moment! The darkness works in mysterious ways, we wouldn't want any of you to get lost in it. Now do we?" The man said, Damion reverted back to their many conversations where he used the same phrase, 'Now do we?'

"Well I'd say got sleep for now. Then go challenge the gym first thing in the morning, your first mission as the Clan of Hope: Get the gym badge, and protect Whitney." The meeting dismissed, Damion stood up and began walking down the room.

He walked up to Shaun and slammed his fists into the desks, causing some of the other elderly trainers to jump slightly.

"What the hell is your problem, man?" Damion growled, Shaun chuckled.

"What do you mean?"

"What do I mean?! You said you wouldn't harm Bugsy, you said If I joined it would SAVE him!" Damion yelled softly at the man, who in turn chuckled.

"I said MIGHT save him, now...ignore these fools and go straight to the gym, I want you to do whatever you can to would her strongest Pokemon, that is your first mission...and get to sleep early tonight. You might be woken quite....rudely..." the man smirked as Damion slipped on his earphones and walked out of the room.

Kaitlyn instantly noticed the Professor's upset look when the had approached him, she also noticed there was a new recruit there as well, sandy blond hair with one blue and green eye, an inherent of Heterochromia, he looked to be about a year younger than she and Cairne "He must be a new Dex Holder or something" Kaitlyn thought, while she held Hunter in her arms and Sho sat himself on her shoulders "Everyone before we get into the meeting, I would like you to meet Lucas, he is a Pokémon trainer and seems to be caught in the middle of everything, so I have made him an honorary Dex Holder" the Professor explained introducing Lucas and then he quickly rushes everyone into the meeting room, they all took their seat's and Kaitlyn noticed 6 older men and woman, two of which she recognized as Angela and Gage, Cairne's grandparents.

A small grin broke out on her face, but it then turned into a frown when she scanned their faces, she always knew they were old, but they never seemed to look old, they would argue and bicker like normal couples, even more so than a regular couple; but something in her gut told her, when she looked at them, all of them, that this was not going to be pretty, they looked a lot more experienced that their group did, but then again they've seen the world for what it really was and saw things Kaitlyn could only dream about. . .

He stands about 5ft 6, has messy dark hair and his facial expression is full of amusement, yet at the same time it gave her shivers because he looked absolutely sinister, something about this guy gave her a bad vibe and she had a feeling Sho was getting it too, cause his hackles began to raise against her cheek and she quickly calmed the mouse by stroking his fur, murmuring hushed words of encouragement and telling him to calm down. Shaun was wearing a black long sleeve shirt and jeans. "Everyone this is Shaun Tess"

"This here is Celebi the time travel Pokémon, in my day I made very close friends with her and till this day we have shared a bond… A few nights ago though the bond vanished, I can no longer feel her presence in Johto… A part of me fears that the Dark Brotherhood is going to use her to find Giratina's and Darkrai's Pokéballs… and then they will unleash the darkness once again." He paused for a moment allowing for them to soak everything that they've just learned.

"Well. . . I can't ever say my time as a trainer was boring" Kaitlyn couldn't help but sardonically think. She watched as Gage stood "In other words, we must not fail to find and stop this new leader of the Brotherhood, whoever he is… he mustn't be allowed to find those Pokéballs." Lance then stands up to speak "The best thing for all of you to do right now is continue your gym battles, we will work on locating this new threat… Once we know something we shall contact you, just keep your guards up…" Shaun quickly speaks up "Yes don't not let your guard down for one moment, the darkness works in mysterious ways, we wouldn't want any of you to get lost in it" he said with a smirk and Kaitlyn had a feeling he knew more than he was saying, but Sly stood up again and spoke once more "Well I'd say go take a good nights rest, and go for that next gym badge bright and early this is your first mission as a member of the Clan of Hope: To get the gym badge, and protect Whitney" that seemed to be the cue for everyone to dismiss and Kaitlyn stood, placing Hunter on the floor while she stretched, smiling slightly, she was going to make a beeline for Angela and Gage, but Hunter had other plans.

"Crocooo!" Hunter was happy to finally be able to move around freely "Hey Hunter stop that!" the Croconaw had ran right over to Shaun, stopping right at the black haired man's feet "Croco?" he blinked up at Shaun, who had kneeled down and pat the Crocodile affectionately on the head "What an adorable little Croconaw you have, was it your starter?" Kaitlyn froze when the elder man directed his gaze towards her, a small smirk etched on his features "Umm no, I just caught him recently. . . well I err got him in a trade that is, my Starter is Snoopy, he's a Granbull" she didn't feel right talking to him, even if there were a group of people in the room, this guy just set her danger-dar off.

"Oh" he stood up to his full height and glanced at Sho, who also faltered under his gaze, his eyes narrowing and ears flattened against his head, teeth bared at Shaun when he attempted to pet Sho "A little defensive thing is it" Kaitlyn laughed nervously and began stroking the Pikachu's fur "Ummm he's not usually like this hehe sorry" she apologized, though inwardly she was cheering Sho on, telling him to bite the bastard's hand off. Shaun quirked a brow at Sho "what an odd color he is, these are pretty rare in the wild, did you get him by chance?"

"Umm no… When we were fighting Team Rocket in Slowpoke's Well, some batshit insane scientist shot Sho with this weird gun that sent Pokémon on a Rampage and next thing I know, after its all over, he's a shiny Pikachu" Shaun hmm'd thoughtfully before his gaze turned back to Hunter, she swore she saw something flicker in his eyes, but that must've been the light "I hear Croconaw's have very powerful jaws and that Feraligatr's jaws are capable of ripping the foe to shreds" he seemed to look very gleeful at the thought of ripping someone to shreds.

Kaitlyn nodded unsure "Uhh y-yeah, I think that's about right" she bent down and picked Hunter up, holding the Croconaw in his arms "I see. . ." Shaun dug in his pocket and pulled out a plain biscuit, waving it in front of the croc's face "You hungry little guy?" Hunter sniffed the cookie, nodding before he opened his big gaping maw and clamped it around Shaun's entire wrist, she didn't notice his eyes turn white as his jaws instantly locked into place around his wrist "Oh no! I'm so sorry! Hunter let go!" the water type was mumbling something incoherent around Shaun's hand, before he unlatched his jaws and released the older man's arm. Kaitlyn gasped at the teeth marks that were embedded on his wrist, she could see where Hunter had bitten down , the puncture wounds, though deep, were not bleeding as much as she assumed they would and Kaitlyn found that very peculiar.

"What a nice set of jaws on that one."

"Doesn't it hurt?" Kaitlyn blinked as he moved his wrist around like it didn't just get bitten.

"Not really" he smirked "You've gotta remember, we've all had much worse scars than some little bite from a Croconaw" he placed a hand on Hunter's head and pat him affectionately again "That's some bite you've got there little fella, make sure you put it into good use, you never know when you might need to kill something" she shivered at the word and the way he said it "K-Kill?"

He nodded, his eyes acquiring a look of remembrance "I was about 16 when I first killed" his smirk became somewhat insane "There was so much blood" his eyes met hers and she took a cautious step back, some type of spark had just alighted, that look he was giving her was anything but sane "R-Right, well I should be going. . . " Shaun blinked and the look was instantly gone, he chuckled and shot her an amused smirk, then his gaze slowly trailed down to look at Hunter "Alright then, it was nice talking with you, good luck with raising your Croconaw, I know it will become a very formidable foe"

Kaitlyn nodded once and then she turned away from him, heading over towards Gage and Angela. Shaun's grin morphed into something sinister, that Croconaw would never know what hit him.

(OOC: Why did I write this ending? I have no clue, it just came to me, but Shaun always stuck me as the type to like sharp point objects and Pokémon that could tear a person apart with their claws or fangs. Hunter's just gonna have a major personality change is all, nothing that will affect the plot.)

im new to these forums, but i have alot of good ideas, and i have done little hacking my self
im sure this is late but im just saying
all these trainers, seem like to much of nice guys

i think there should be a trainer that will do anything to get there first, someone that has nothing to lose

Trainer Name- Sithe
Gender Male
Age- 16
Starter Pokemon- Larvitar

History-
He grew up in a good neighborhood, average kid his whole life, then one day when he was coming home from school around age 9, he watched as his parents were taken away, by what the police assume to be this dark kidnapper of vanishing.
With no parents, him and his younger sister around 3, decide to run away, instead of being separated.
This ends up leaving them to New Bark Town. One night sleeping under a tree, his sister gets attacked by a wild pokemon, Sithe has nothing to fight the othe rpokemon off with, Sithe never really thought of becoming a trainer, but he remembers that his parents were teaching him, and the only memories he has of his parents were of him and his dad and mom telling stories of the amazing battles they have had every night right before bed. The pokemon eventaully runs away, and his sister gets rushed to the hospital. the police then escort, him to a near by foster house, however the determined kid knows, he has to become a trainer, and save his family, he knows he has to find his sister, and save all the missing trainers, including his friends. he wants to face this dark lord, and will do anything to get the chance, that means becoming the strongest trainer. There is no room for fail.

Personality-
a very shady charecter, doesnt talk much about his past, people know about his parents, and his lost sister, however nobody talks about it
he's pretty much a dark charecter, that knows what he wants, and he wont let anything stop him, whether its doing the right or wrong thing. Hes all about getting power, so he can destroy the dark lord of johto, and save his family. he blames himself for the separation of his sister, so he trains constantly with his pokemon, to always be a dozen levels ahead of the enemy, he is more on attacking, then playing defence.

Appearance- around 6 feet, always wears a dark suit. very dark brown hair, with a simple spike, nothing hangs past his ears, pretty muscular, his eyesare a dark blue, and he always wears a gold necklace which has 3 tiny pictures of his sister,father, and mother on them. Doesnt have time to make alot of friends, he just wants to get noticed by the dark lord. Likes to give off the resemblance of power.
