    Hey y'all! Welcome to my first Fanfiction! This is the story of an Agent, or 'spy' in Kanto. He must build a strong team so he can match the strengths of a mystery leader of the Sinister Team Rocket (no, not Giovanni)

    Please feel free to criticise, as I don't really expect to have AMAZING reviews (as I said, It's my first real shot at it :P) I'll add new chapters when I can, so keep checking back :D

    General Summary - Shippings - none
    PG - as this story might get a bit more violent

    Well, enjoy!

    The Kanto Spy - by ZephyrII

    Chapter One: A new leaf...

    Dressed in his newly acquired tux-like uniform & standard issue spy-net gear, he felt like a man on the moon. As he entered the Kanto Secret Agency (or Kanto SA)'s committee hall, he noticed the other dozen or so newly promoted Agents. With a tickling sense of pride and gain, he accepted his new Kanto SA Official Agent Badge.

    You see, Kanto has a new agency, the Kanto SA – Kanto's FBI or CIA as such. Law enforcement, national research and security, or private investigator: Kanto SA covered a number of areas.

    So how exactly would someone become a spy for this organisation? Well, a number of vigorous training programmes and a great deal of tests would have to be passed by that person before the can become an Agent, or a 'spy'. Once promoted, these individuals have the liberty of choosing an agent codename – unfortunately, this liberty comes with equally unfortunate names, such as Agent of Doom (you could imagine the humiliation that person got), or something so immature or rude that a writer like me has too much authority to include it on the very page you read.
    Agent K. He liked that. His initial, short & sweet. This was his chosen codename.

    This young man was in the prime of his twenties. His hair was brushed with a dark blond colour and remained relatively short. With an average build and standing 6 foot 3 in height, he was a good man for the job. He had initially wanted to become a gym leader in his early teens, but he also enjoyed the whole spy thing. Naturally, Kanto SA and its concept was the perfect organisation for him.

    A couple of days had followed Agent K's promotion when he was called upon by Kanto SA's head – dubbed 'Big M'. He was giving Agent K his first mission. Now the fun began.

    The man was sitting powerfully at his metallic desk. A number of sheets of paper lay in front of him, as well as a silver fountain pen. It was clear to Agent K that he'd just been writing, and that he wouldn't exactly be merry. The quicker this talk was, the better.
    "Agent K?" he asked with surprising intent. Agent K swallowed dry air, and then he managed to speak,
    "Yes sir?"
    "Excellent, welcome to the agency!" His friendly tone came as a bit of a shock to K, a relief, yes, but a shock none the less, "Now, I have a task for you, one of respectable importance I might add. You know of Articuno?"
    K could feel the excitement inside him swelling up. Who hadn't heard of Articuno? One of the 3 legends of the sky? He immediately replied,
    "Indeed I have sir."
    "Good, good. The very one. Now, we need a few photos of the beast, as we have little visual images of it. Your new shades should do the trick. Get some good snaps to the ICE research sector, we send you a good bonus. Catch my drift?"
    Bonus? As in, pay? Being an agent rocked. "Yep." said K.
    "Then I hope to hear from the ICE scientists with good news. Unfortunately, we do have a date set. We need the images by tomorrow, 3pm at the latest."
    "Consider it done sir." And with that, he turned...
    ... "Oh wait, hold on a second!" Big M scribbled something down and handed it to Agent K. "See this man. Get a Pokémon. If there's none left, see if he can help you catch one. Good luck m'boy!"

    Unsure, K replied, "Thanks sir." With that, he turned and left.

    Agent K read the paper given to him, it read:

    See Prof. Oak in Pallet town. Show him your badge; he'll give you your starter.

    'Big M'

    The excitement propelled Agent K to the heliport area.

    Chapter two: A friendship ignites

    As afternoon arrived in Pallet Town, so too did a Kanto SA heli-jet. The vehicle came to rest, out popped Agent K, and then it took off again. "Right," thought K, "Oak. Where was this guy?"

    His question was soon answered when a girl of around 15-16 emerged from a large building, clutching and gazing at a spherical object in her hand. K guessed it was a poke ball... which it was, as he soon discovered when the young girl approached him and flourished her badge, "Are you an Agent?" she asked.
    "Yes. Agent K." He showed his badge, "Were you looking for me?"
    "Ah! Y-yes, I'm Ground Scout Lexi... sir!" she hastily replied, "I was assigned to meet you here and make sure you got a starter successfully."
    "I see, would that be a starter there then?" K pointed towards the ball, still in the anxious clutches of young Lexi.
    "That's right!" she answered, again hastily. Lexi must've had 3 tonnes of sugar this morning – either that or she was just a happy person. "Wanna see?"
    Before K had time to open his mouth, the ball was tossed in the air. It then shot open; releasing a stream of pure white among the ground, this light eventually formed a reptilian shape and dispersed.
    Leaving a small lizard.
    With its tail on fire.
    Ouch.
    "This is my Charmander!" Lexi exclaimed, "I call her Charina, isn't she just gorgeous! You can tell she's healthy because of her flame..."
    "So I see..." said Agent K, not really meaning it, "Well, I'll be back shortly." With that, he entered Oak's lab.

    Not too high tech, but not exactly a farm house. The lab seemed to be a pretty standard place, with a handful of assistants running about, attending to something or another. K eventually found Oak's room, knocked, but walked in anyway, "Can I help you?" the seemingly old man said.
    "Yes. Kanto SA." Agent K whipped out his badge, he felt really important and cool now, "I'm here about the starter."
    "Ah, yes! I've been waiting, oh, and I trust you met young Lexi outside? Such a nice lass her, if a bit jittery. Do come this way..."
    Oak led K to a distinctive desk, before he paused, "Oh... that's right..." he turned to K, "Sorry son, I'm afraid all three are gone. Charmander was the only one left, but as you can see, she's been chosen by Lexi.
    K was a little disappointed – he'd always liked the thought of having his own Charmander, like Lexi. Guess he'd need to find alternate means...
    ...which Oak happily provided, "Forgive me if I'm wrong... but you wouldn't happen to be interested in fire types, would you?"
    "Well, I think they're an essential part of any squad professor."
    "Well then," he began, "I've got good news for you. Here, take these." he tossed a batch of poke balls towards K, and continued while he was picking up the ones he fumbled, "Let's go outside!"

    True to his word, Oak took Agent K to the entrance of Pallet Town, searching through the tall grass, "I've had a few reported sightings of these fellas over the past few days. Unusual for them to be seen this side of Kanto..."
    K was slightly puzzled, "Professor, what exactly are you on ab-"
    "Ssshh! Look!" he whispered loudly, "That one looks sturdy. What d'you think?"
    Agent K looked onward... and he saw it...

    Review

    This is an interesting idea... I can't wait to see how the story progresses.
    The story is also easy to understand - I can really picture Big M's office and everything. Good work!

    Anyway, review.

    Dressed in his newly acquired tux-like uniform and standard issue spy-net gear, he felt like a man on the moon. As he entered the Kanto Secret Agency (or Kanto SA)'s committee hall, he noticed the other dozen or so newly promoted Agents. With a tickling sense of pride and gain, he accepted his new Kanto SA Official Agent Badge.
    It's a good idea to type out the word 'and' instead of using the '&'. The writing looks and feels more formal and less-rushed, if you know what I mean.

    You see, Kanto has a new agency, the Kanto SA – Kanto's FBI or CIA as such. Law enforcement, national research and security, or private investigator: Kanto SA covered a number of areas.
    Again with the '&'... type out the word rather then using the symbol.

    Here, I fixed the '&' again.

    The man was sitting powerfully at his metallic desk. A number of sheets of paper lay in front of him, as well as a silver fountain pen. It was clear to Agent K that he'd just been writing, and that he wouldn't exactly be merry. The quicker this talk was, the better.

    "Excellent, welcome to the agency!" His friendly tone came as a bit of a shock to K, a relief, yes, but a shock none the less, "Now, I have a task for you, one of respectable importance I might add. You know of Articuno?" [Paragraph Break Here]
    K could feel the excitement inside him swelling up.

    "Oh wait, hold on a second!" Big M scribbled something down and handed it to Agent K. "See this man. Get a Pokémon. If there's none left, see if he can help you catch one. Good luck m'boy!"
    I fixed a couple minor grammar errors here.

    Unsure, K replied, "Thanks sir." With that, he turned and left.

    I'll be back to review Chapter Two, but I've got to go to for a bit. Looks great so far! :)

    "Organisation" is the British English spelling of "organization" and "programmes" is the British English spelling of "programs", so ZephyrII is correct with his spelling. He is from Scotland, which would obviously use the English that's close to his country.

    It's a common mistake some people make, however, so don't feel bad. Just consider yourself gaining more knowledge.

    Thanks for the feedback guys! I've corrected those misakes pointed out too :P. Also, I've finished Chapter 3!

    Chapter 3: Little Tyger

    Agent K and Oak looked upon its gaze. A small, but confident looking...
    ...Growlithe.
    "There you go, a neat little fire type if I say so myself. What d'you think?"
    What did Agent K think? Sure it was a cool looking little fire dog... thing, but still. It was quite small. Could it hold up in a fight? "Let's see how it battles..." he said.
    "Good suggestion!" replied Oak, and he pulled out a great ball... with a Squirtle appearing afterward.
    K didn't really understand: he thought Oak said all the starters were gone?
    "I know what you may be thinking, but this Squirtle belongs to me, I've had it for a few months now. He's a good friend. Now then: Bubble!" The Squirtle let loose a barrage of bubbles, which burst on impact with the young canine, hurting it significantly (do the science: water and fire?). The Growlithe let out a yelp before quickly responding with a vigorous Tackle attack! "Withdraw!!" commanded Oak, before the small turtle performed the given task. Growlithe only managed to knock the shell back a few feet before Squirtle came lashing back with a spinning tackle, knocking out the pup, "Well, what are you waiting for? Throw it."
    Whilst watching the bout, K had forgotten he was holding a poke ball, ready for use. Well, now was the time.
    He threw it, successfully landing a hit on the fainted Pokémon, absorbing it into the open mouth of the ball. It snapped shut.
    It rolled once.
    It rolled twice.
    ... Thrice.
    Bingo!

    K walked over to the red and white ball, now the home of his newly acquired Growlithe, he couldn't help big grin like a big child (well, wouldn't you if you just caught a Pokémon?)
    "I hope you like it!" said Oak, "I did like find Growlithes quite interesting when I was young..."
    "Yep!" replied Agent K, "He looked like a strong fighter, I'm looking forward to training him!"
    "Do you want to give him a nickname?" asked the Professor,
    After a pause, K eventually spoke, "Well... yes! After all: he's a little Tyger..."

    "Well," said Oak back at his Lab, "He's all better now. Here, you and little 'Tyger' have a good time!"
    "Thanks Professor! Oh, I've got to say: the way your Squirtle battled was amazing! You've trained it really well!"
    "Well, thank you! I'm really growing fond of my Squirtle! As you can see he's-... where's he go? Squirtle?" Oak called out. The ball had disappeared from the desk he placed it on.

    Agent K helped Oak look for Squirtle's poke ball for over half an hour. Lexi also wandered in and started helping after she realised what was going on. There was no sign, except a window left slightly open. Agent K called in the Agency & they began investigating (the window received significant attention). An hour later, they confirmed what the three had suspected:

    Squirtle had been stolen. It was gone.

    Aren't I spoiling you all? Here's Chapter 4:

    Chapter 4: The REAL Mission Begins

    "This is just terrible!" uttered Lexi. It was clear to Agent K she was becoming very emotional and tearful – he could fully understand.
    "I know," He said, "but I'm sure it'll be OK..." But he knew it was unlikely.
    "Why?" continued Lexi, the distress now becoming clear in her voice, "Why would somebody steal little Squirtle..."
    "I... don't know." Said K – he'd run out of answers. He looked in and saw Oak. He was sitting, slouched over his desk. He was attempting to work, but it was clear to anyone that his heart just wasn't in it.
    He had an idea, "Lexi," he said, "d'you want a mission?"
    "Huh?" she replied.
    "Wait here." K entered the room Oak was in. He sat next to him.
    "He was a good friend..." said Oak quietly, "for someone to be as low as to steal a partner, a battler. A friend..."
    Poor old Oak. His heart was drained.
    "Professor," said K after a brief pause, "as I said, I'm an Agent. And I promise you: I will do everything and anything I can to get Squirtle back to you. Consider that a promise." He held out his hand.
    Oak looked, he smiled a little, and he shook K's hand, "Thanks son." He said.

    "Yes sir." Said K, on the phone to the Agency, "I'd like permission to investigate on this case."
    "Well I see no problem," replied Big M, "Professor Oak is a good man; this investigation can only be for a good cause."
    "Much appreciated sir!"
    "Oh, how's work going on the Articuno case?"
    Dammit! K had completely forgotten about Articuno! He'd need to think of something, "Umm, I've been surveying the skies around Pallet and Route One. Locals say Articuno passes here every year. No sign yet though."
    "Well, stay vigilant. Oh, and good luck Agent." With that, Big M hung up.

    "Lexi," called K to the girl, who had by now calmed down a bit, "that mission I was talking about?
    "Yes?" she said.
    "Well, the mission is to find and retrieve Squirtle, and his kidnapper. You in?"
    A look of shock grew on Lexi's face, "Me? Help? Y-yes! That'd be awesome!"
    "Good to hear!" said K, "Well then let's get goi- Lexi? ...Lexi?"
    Lexi was looking up in awe.
    Agent K also looked up, "No way!" he said in disbelief, "Articuno?!"
    It was indeed, Articuno. The ice legend of the Sky.
    "It's beautiful..." said Lexi in a daze.
    "Yea..." said K, equally mesmerised, "Oh! Pictures."
    Lexi watched as K used his state of the art spy shades to take snaps of the Bird. He grinned as he observed his winnings.
    Once the magnificent creature had passed, K put away his shades, "That's five good ones right there." he said, "I've emailed them back to the Agency, so this case is closed."
    "Now we can focus our energies on finding Squirtle!" added Lexi.
    "True." Said K, "Well, onward to Viridian!"
    Agent K and Ground Scout Lexi set off. Charina and Tyger in hand.
    Operation: Squirtle Rescue. This was the new objective.

    Review

    As afternoon arrived in Pallet Town, so too did a Kanto SA heli-jet. The vehicle came to rest, out popped Agent K, and then it took off again. "Right," thought K, "Oak. Where was this guy?"
    Just the '&' symbol again...
    "Yes. Agent K." He showed his badge, "Were you looking for me?"
    Be sure to always capitalize the first letter of a sentence.
    "I see, would that be a starter there then?" K pointed towards the ball, still in the anxious clutches of young Lexi.
    The sentence should end with a period, not a comma.
    "That's right!" she answered, again hastily (she must've had at least 3 tonnes of sugar this morning – that or she was always just a happy person. You don't often get those...)
    Stories usually flow better when there isn't any parentheses to interrupt mid-sentence. A better way to write this would be something like, "That's right!" she answered, again hastily. Lexi must've had three tonnes of sugar this morning - either that or she was just a happy person. You can or cannot leave on the, 'You don't often get those...' but personally I think it would be better to leave it off. It's up to you, though.

    With that, he entered Oak's lab.
    Be sure to have an apostrophe for 'Oaks'. Because the lab belongs to Oak, the noun is possessive and needs an apostrophe.

    K eventually found Oak's room, knocked, but walked in anyway, "Can I help you?" the seemingly old man said.
    Again, this sentence should end with a period.

    "Yes. Kanto SA." Agent K whipped out his badge, he felt really important and cool now, "I'm here about the starter."
    '&'...
    Oak led K to a distinctive desk, before he paused, "Oh... that's right..." he turned to K, "Sorry son, I'm afraid all three are gone. Charmander was the only one left, but as you can see, she's been chosen by Lexi.
    When writing, it looks better to type out a number rather then using the number itself, so this should be 'three'. However, this is also up to you. If you want to, you can leave it at just '3'.

    "Well, I think they're an essential part of any squad professor."
    Always end a sentence with some sort of punctuation. In this case, you would need a period.

    "Well then," he began, "I've got good news for you. Here, take these."
    Just need a period here.

    ~~~
    Looks great so far! There's just a few minor errors, so nothing much. :) Keep up the good work!
    Oh... I'm so sorry! I'll check up on that and memorize it for future reference. Thanks, Astinus. -.-;
    I'm really sorry, ZephyrII!
    Thanks for the review! I'll deal with those.
    and dont worry about the American - British spelling differences ;) (to be honest, I didn't know that either :P)
    Because I like you all :P heres Chapter 5!
    Chapter 5: Journey: Begin!
    They had barely passed Route One, but Agent K and GS Lexi were as alert as rabbits: looking for any sign of Squirtle.
    "How long d'you think this'll take?" asked Lexi.
    "Dunno," replied K, "Days, weeks... months..."
    "Months?!" said a now shocked Lexi, "It seems I'll be kept busy..."
    "You're not the only one." K suddenly had an idea, "Hey! Tyger, come out a sec."
    The poke ball was tossed in the air, releasing K's new Growlithe, Tyger.
    "See if you can sniff out Squirtle for us!" commanded K.
    Tyger, having fought with Squirtle earlier, remembered it's scent well. Well enough to try and track the tiny turtle down.
    As Tyger was busy weaving in and out the swaying grass, he noticed Charina standing a few feet away.
    "I thought maybe she could help?" said Lexi.
    "Well she's helping burn the meadow down that's for sure!" K replied, with a slight giggle.
    Lexi looked; Charina's tail had caught a few of the pale green blades of grass, "EEK! Charina!" cried Lexi, before she managed to stamp it out. She gave a look of embarrassment; poor Lexi, it wasn't the best start...
    Just as the end of Route One was merely metres away, a certain light brown bird felt that it's territory was under threat. It jumped out on Agent K and Lexi, willing to fight.
    "Brave little thing this, isn't it?" asked K.
    "Hey! Pretty!" said Lexi, she was fixed on the Pidgey, K guessed that she liked birds.
    "I'll let you take it if you want." K gestured with his hand.
    "Oh, thanks!" exclaimed a really exited Lexi, "Hey there! Want to fight? Charina!"
    Charina wandered up beside the teenager, noticed Pidgey, looked up at her trainer... paused... and eventually looked ready for battle.
    "Good! Now, Ember!" commanded Lexi, resulting in a bright orange flame licking Pidgey fiercely. The bird gave out a cry of discomfort, before kicking sand in Charina's face.
    "Be careful! Scratch this time!"
    Sure enough, the little Charmander went to claw it's opponent, but the sand in her eyes simply put her off, allowing Pidgey to peck her in the side.
    "Eek! Charina, try again!"
    Shaking a large quantity of sand out of her face, Charina successfully landed a hit on the fatigued little feather ball.
    Lexi tossed her poke ball to the Pidgey, successfully trapping and securing it.
    "Yaaay!" screamed Lexi, "I did it! I got a Pidgey! I did it myself! I was so..."
    Agent K simply smiled, looked at Tyger – who was clearly confused at this girl's ability to speak so fast at such a high volume – and looked at the road ahead, "There's Viridian City."
    "Oh yea!"
    "Let's keep the ball rolling..." said K again, before withdrawing Tyger.
    At the Pokémon Centre, the admirable Nurse Joy appeared, "Here you go young lady." She said with a smile, "Your Charmander and Pidgey are all better!"
    "Thank you!" answered Lexi, "Hey! Agent K! I know what to call my Pidgey!"
    "Really?"
    "Yep: Page. Like it? She is a girl you know..."
    "I think it's fine." Said K, partially hoping to shush her, "Anyway, c'mon! I've got us a place to stay tonight..."
    Agent K sat with his coffee, reading his reports from the Viridian Police Force, whilst stroking Tyger – who was busy eating his poke food. Tyger was turning into a good friend. He watched as young Lexi slowly dozed off into some sort of dream, poke balls close at hand.
    It's was good that Lexi caught a new party member and all, thought K. There was a problem, however...
    ... They were no closer to finding Squirtle.
    Well, here's Chapter 6 guys and gals :D
    Chapter 6: To Pewter City!
    "Be sure to keep me posted, will you?" asked Agent K.
    "Don't worry, I will!" replied Lexi, and with that, she took off on her bike, riding off west to help look for Squirtle.
    Right, time to start searching, where would be the best place to start?
    "So this is Viridian Forest?" thought K, "Looks quite big, a perfect hideout for the Squirtle thief."
    K decided to walk through the forest, just in case Oak's Pokémon might be inside. No risk of him getting lost though, he was an Agent: complete with a sat-nav compass and all the spy essentials.
    He was about half-way through the forest when he came across a peculiar tree. This tree was slightly darker than the surrounding ones, as if it's essence had been sucked out of it.
    That's when he saw them.
    Kakunas. Dozens and dozens of Kakunas. All just hanging there, as if they were sourly watching the ground below them.
    K would have to move slowly – Beedrill were bound to be nearby. He gently walked by the barren floor, trying not to make any loud noises.
    This precaution, however, didn't stop the other Pokémon from calming: a certain Pikachu ran right by K, and zapped a pursuing Spearow. Spearow wailed and flew off...
    Crack!
    K looked round slowly. The Kakunas were budging; faint ripping sounds could be heard from their shells, before a few wings started to appear.
    The Kakunas were evolving.
    Around twenty or so Beedrills rose to the air, looking down on their nest.
    K looked at the Pikachu.
    It looked back.
    It then fled.
    "Damn!" said K under his breath. He looked back up at the beedrill; they were now looking at him, needles at the ready.
    They began their chase.
    "Holy sh-!"
    Crash!!! K managed to jump out of the way of a diving Beedrill, sending it's needles deep into the base of a tree.
    He took this opportunity. He ran – like hell.
    Swiftly jumping and ducking over and under roots and branches, K was thankful for his training. Sat-nav in hand, it was a basic straight line for the exit.
    "Let's stall them!" he thought, "Go! Tyger!"
    He threw the ball upwards, releasing Tyger. He quickly caught the ball and noticed Tyger running alongside him: he was surprisingly fast.
    "Tyger! Ember!" commanded K. The pup did as it was told, releasing a bright spark of hot flame among the giant insects.
    A handful of Beedrill, either wounded or baffled, turned and fled. However there was still too many left to shake.
    "Surely you know quick attack?" K asked Tyger. The dog gave him a reassuring look.
    "OK then: Quick Attack! There!" K pointed out a weak looking tree. If Tyger was able to hit it, there was a strong chance it would fall in front of the oncoming swarm.
    Tyger focused on the trees base. Eyes fixed, he suddenly shot towards it, pummelling right through it.
    K was impressed, before realising: Tyger had overtaken him. If he wasn't quick, the tree would fall in front of him.
    "Crap!" shouted K, while pounding his legs with all his might. The tree swayed, before finally giving way. K looked straight ahead: he might just make it. He jumped, headfirst towards the ground.
    Thud! K looked up: he had narrowly avoided the tree's crushing impact. As he sat upright, he could then hear a good few 'thuds', indicating the Beedrills' impact. The plan was a success.
    Or so he thought, as four Beedrill appeared from behind the tree trunk, fixed on Agent K. As he prepared for the worst, Tyger immediately stepped in – ramming one of the Beedrills with Quick Attack. The young Growlithe looked at the remaining three Beedrills, barked, and then pulled off an impressive Howl.
    The Beedrills suddenly looked shocked. The backed off a little, before turning and fleeing.
    K looked at Tyger. Tyger looked at K.
    "Wow..." said K, "Aren't you a tough one?"
    Tyger jumped into K's arms and gave him a friendly lick. They both looked and saw, with relief, that they were at the exit of the Viridian Forest. Squirtle wasn't inside after all...
    "There. Your Growlithe's all better!" said Joy, handing K his poke ball.
    "Thanks Nurse Joy. Bye." Agent K waved on his way out.
    "OK, what exactly do you know little man?" K said to Tyger in his poke ball. He whipped out his pokedex.
    The attacks appeared on the screen:
    Tackle
    Ember
    Howl
    Quick Attack
    "Impressive!" said K.
    Pewter City was a beautiful place. The rocks looked polished. The stones used for the buildings looked as rich as gold. Even the gravel had a sense of quality.
    "Oh my God! Someone! Anyone?! We need help!!!"
    K looked onward. It was coming from Pewter's east exit. A boy carrying a fainted Rattata ran into view.
    Agent K ran over to the boy, "Hey! Kanto SA." He showed his badge, "What's wrong?"
    The boy looked scared, "It's... over there!" he pointed toward the road to Mt. Moon, "It's going crazy! It's going to KILL something if it's not stopped!"
    The boy ran to the Pokémon Centre. K was still looking at the road he pointed to. He heard a scream, and saw a cloud of smoke...
    Agent K ran towards the scene.
    I'm really enjoying this fic. :) Anyway, these are the spelling/grammar errors that I picked out in the last two chapters. There may be more, but this was all i could see:
    Chapter 5:
    Shaking a large quantity of sand out of her face, Charina successfully landed a hit on the fatigued little featherball.
    I think feather ball should be split into two words, not combined into one.
    Agent K sat with his coffee, reading his reports form the Viridian Police Force, whilst stroking Tyger
    Should be from
    Chapter 6:
    "Don't worry, I will!" replied Lexi, and with that, she took of on her bike, riding of west to help look for Squirtle.
    Needs to be changed to off
    Around twenty or so Bedrills rose to the air, looking down on their nest.
    Needs an extra e.
    The began their chase.
    I think it should read: "They began their chase"
    Keep up the good work
    Yea, that's true, thanks! I'll see to those :D
    My goodness it's been a while! I've randomly decided to add another chapter to this FanFic, and I hope you enjoy!
    Chapter 7: Enter Mt. Moon
    Agent K saw a number of people looking on nervously towards Mt. Moon's entrance. Some people were doing there best to get away and avoid danger. What on earth could the matter be?
    That's when K got a call, "Hello, Agent K speaking?"
    It was Big M, "K! There's trouble at Mt. Moon! I thought seeing as you were near the area-"
    "I'm already there sir! I'm just about to see what's going on."
    "Ah, good. Well then hurry!" With that he hung up.
    "Coming through! Kanto SA!" Agent K flourished his badge, "Make way people!" He'd always wanted to do that.
    Upon making his way to the front of the crowd, K saw what all the commotion was about. It was a rampaging Rhyhorn. What the hell was a Rhyhorn doing at Mt. Moon? This question was soon answered when K caught sight of Pewter's Gym leader, Brock. He'd be the one to ask...
    "Brock isn't it?" K asked, "Kanto Secret Agency, you mind telling me what's going on here?"
    "Ah, of course," began Brock, "see I brought this Rhyhorn here to train for my gym, but it's not settling in properly and only a moment ago it just lost it!"
    "Thank you!" K said. Now his main priority was stopping this beast.
    The angry Rhyhorn aimlessly tossed rocks and boulders at the onlookers, who screamed and began to run off. K had a plan: see to them first, Rhyhorn later...
    "Tyger, I'll need your help," K released Tyger from its poke ball, "I need you to distract Rhyhorn while Brock and I evacuate these people. You should be fine with your speed."
    "Grou!" Tyger replied, before darting to the angry Pokémon.
    "Can everyone please leave! It's too dangerous!" shouted Agent K, waving his arms in the air, "C'mon people move along!"
    Being a figure of certain authority, the crowd decided it was probably a good idea to do as K was saying, they began to disperse.
    After a good five or ten minutes, K looked around again to see Rhyhorn frantically chasing after Tyger. However Tyger looked tired, and it was apparent he had been struck by a rock throw attack. The small hound came to a cliff wall and stood, looking at Rhyhorn. The angry Pokémon stamped it's foot off the ground a few times and then charged. Tyger, at the right moment, jumped in the air, over Rhyhorn and shot an Ember attack at its face. The Rhyhorn, temporarily blinded, collided right into the wall and slumped to the ground. Now was the opportunity,
    "Brock!" K shouted over, "Return it!"
    Brock, meanwhile, had a small grin on his face. He returned the fatigued Rhyhorn, and then tossed the Ultra Ball it was contained in to Agent K.
    "You keep it," he said with a smile, "consider it a thanks for helping us out here." He gave K a nod, and then headed back to Pewter City.
    "I'd better go back too," thought K, "To heal this Rhyhorn, and to get answers..."
    Back in the Pewter Pokémon Centre, K was sat at a table reading more police reports from over the past day. No sign of any Squirtle thief, but a report of a missing Squirtle was recorded. At least they knew it was missing...
    "Here you are, you're Pokémon are all healed up." The nurse said to K.
    "Ah, thanks." Replied K, "How was Rhyhorn?"
    "Well it's certainly a lot calmer now than it was. I think you did the trick agent."
    "Ah, that's good to know." He looked at the ball, "I think I'll keep him, call him Cliff... thanks again."
    "No problem, we get all sorts here. Why, just this morning there was a very upset Squirtle being checked up. The poor thing looked slightly scared if anything. It was weird."
    A Squirtle?
    ...a Squirtle!
    "Hold that thought!" K told the nurse, as he pulled out a notepad, "what time was this at?"
    Could it be Oak's Squirtle? If it was scared and upset then it was bound to be! Agent K might just have found a breakthrough!
    K was stood, again, at Mt. Moon's entrance. According to the Nurse and a few locals, a Squirtle trainer passed by Pewter only an hour or so ago. However, KSA contacts in Cerulean hadn't seen such a trainer. They were still in Mt. Moon.
    K entered the cave.
    A few meters into the cave, there was a peculiar shape on the floor. K went over to inspect. It was a fainted Zubat! Next to it was a puddle of water: a vital clue. Tyger, already out of it's poke ball, walked up beside K.
    "Hey Tyger, get a scent from that puddle. I'm sure it's Squirtle's."
    Tyger set about sniffing the liquid. He brought his head up and twitched his nose a few times before leading the way. K could hear the constant sniffing from Tyger, he must have caught a scent. If they were lucky, Squirtle could be retrieved by nightfall!
    The large, rocky corridor came to an end after ten minutes of following Tyger's nose. K paused and looked up.
    "Well, nothing he-"
    "Grou!" Tyger said quietly, cutting off K. He was looking down. K looked down and activated the lights on his visor. There was a tunnel travelling downwards. K clambered in after Tyger.
    At the bottom, K dropped to the floor on his knees and looked about. Tyger was quietly growling however.
    That's when K heard the voices...
    ...and the quiet sounds of a Squirtle.
    Chapter 8: Rumble in the Mountain
    As Agent K and Tyger approached the noises, they came to the end of one of the walls. There, K crouched and turned his light off, switching for night vision. He peered round the corner of the wall and saw three men dressed in black. They were obviously Rockets. They were all looking at something on the ground. K used his shades to zoom in... And saw Squirtle! The poor thing looked worn out and bruised. One of the men began to speak.
    "Are you sure we should give this thing to the boss? It's barely managing to fight in here..."
    "Relax," said one of the others, "If this thing belonged to that old man in Pallet, then it's gotta' be good somehow. Besides, it's too late to just forget about it..."
    Who exactly was this boss they were speaking about? It can't be Giovanni, as he abandoned Team Rocket years back. Anyway, questions came later, now was the time to do something about these three guys.
    "Hey!" Agent K said aloud as he came out from behind the wall, "Kanto SA, where did you get that Squirtle?" At this, Squirtle looked up and saw K. It must have recognised him as it looked relieved to see him. It tried to run over to him, but one of the men's Ekans halted it.
    "Who wants to know pal?" one of them replied, sounding agitated.
    "... Are you stupid or something?" K replied, "I do. I asked the question, didn't I?"
    "Tryin' to be smart?" another man said, drawing a poke ball from his pocket, "y'know what happens to guys who try to bigmouth Team Rocket."
    K chuckled a little, "Well from your past records, they usually beat the crap out of you. So I might be doing the right thing here..."
    "That's it! Go Hypno!" the man called as he threw the ball to the ground between him and K. There stood a large yellow creature holding a yo-yo of some sort. It gazed chillingly at K.
    "Tyger!" K commanded. The Growlithe barked and ran up to the Hypno, growling and staring right back at it.
    "Let's see how you handle two foes!" one of the other men shouted, "Ekans!" The purple snake slid its way right next to Tyger and hissed threateningly at it.
    K pulled out the Ultra Ball Brock gave him. It was time to put this one to the test, "Cliff! Let's take these suckers on!" The new Rhyhorn landed on the ground with a boom and roared at the Rockets. This was gonna be a good one...
    "Right," K thought, "Hypno's too big for Tyger, so he should probably deal with that Ekans. That way, Cliff can take Hypno." He pointed to the Snake, "Tyger, Howl to raise your attack, then Quick attack!" The dog did as commanded and Howled, filling the whole cave with the noise, then, like a blur, rammed into Ekans, sending it sliding along the rocky floor.
    "Good! Now Cliff," he grabbed the Rhyhorn's attention and pointed at the Hypno, "Charge at that Hy-" K couldn't even finish his sentence. At the word charge, Cliff ran like crazy and pummelled into Hypno. It kept on charging, pushing Hypno back, until it slammed the psychic Pokémon into a wall. Hypno let out a cry of pain as it found itself sandwiched between a hard cave wall and an angry Rhyhorn. Cliff stood back and let the Hypno drop to it's knees, before ramming one of his feet into it's face. That must have been Stomp it just used.
    K turned back to the third Rocket member who wasn't fighting. Instead, he recalled Squirtle and started to run for the exit.
    "Oh no you don't!" K said as he began to pursue the man. He came closer, and closer, and was about to tackle him to the ground when all of a sudden, it felt like gravity had left the whole room. He looked around and saw he was floating in midair...
    "Good job Hypno." One of the men said. K looked over to him and realised Hypno had used psychic on him, and let the other man get away. The Ekans had used wrap on Tyger, and Rhyhorn was asleep – presumably from a Hypnosis attack.
    "Dammit" K said under his breath. The two Rockets started laughing and one of them looked at K coldly,
    "You tried to mess with us, you try to take back that Pokémon, and your friggin' Rhyhorn almost demolished my Hypno! Ohoho... you're in for it now. Hypno – Psybeam!"
    Hypno began to charge up an attack aimed right at Agent K. If it hit, he was surely a goner. He quickly turned towards Tyger, still wrapped up by Ekans. It was now or never...
    "Tyger! Ember!"
    The small dog growled and tried to use the attack on Ekans, but it just squeezed tighter. Tyger groaned, and in desperation, bit right down on the snake.
    "Kkyaaaa!!" the Ekans called out after Tyger sank his teeth into him. The snake released its grip and Tyger shook himself free,
    "Now Quick Attack!" commanded K. Tyger sprinted towards Hypno and hit it in the side. The Pokémon was thrown off balance and fired the Psybeam off in another direction – close to where Cliff was sleeping. The impact caused the Rhyhorn to wake up,
    And a peeved off Rhyhorn is something nobody wants to be faced with.
    The rhino Pokémon bellowed, and charged right at Hypno again. It's horn began to glow white, and extended a couple of inches. Cliff pressed his horn home, causing Hypno to be launched backwards, careering into it's trainer in the process. The yellow Pokémon slumped to the ground, as did the Rocket member.
    The second man gasped and stuttered. He returned his Ekans and ran for the nearest exit – only to meet with a punch to the face from Agent K.
    K emerged from the tunnel and was greeted with the warm Cerulean sunlight. Tyger jumped out to and simply lay on the soft grass, while Cliff also emerged with the two Rocket men on his back, both unconscious, and in handcuffs. The Cerulean police force could be seen on their way already to pick up the men.
    K felt relieved that that was over. But Squirtle had got away again.
