The Kanto Tournament

    Welcome to the Kanto Pokemon Tournament, where you decide which Pokemon will be the best pokemon from the Kanto region.


    Rules:
    1. I will say Pokemon A vs Pokemon B
    2. You can give 1 point to 1 Pokemon in your post. If you want you can explain why you gave this pokemon the point.
    3. If a pokemon reaches 5 points it wins and will get to the next round.
    (I might put the limit higher in the later rounds)

    For the first two rounds there will 3 Pokemon againts each other
    (151:3=50; 50:3=16)

    Gotta go with Kabutops! For me, it's the only one I'd actually have in a team from those 3!

    it helped me so much in my Private Fire Red Nuzlocke

    First... It's a trilobite with scythes. Second, it's awesome. Third, it's strong. Fourth, I actually like it without any touch of irony like you guys do your fish thing.
     
    I vote for Kabutops, because it's actually strong and has a good offensive typing. Arbok suffers from a bad typing and bad stats, and Magikarp is just overrated.

    Can I vote for Kabutops again? Also, I'd like to vote for Jolteon in Round 2, because of its Special Attack and Speed stats, and while Haunter is pretty cool, it isn't very awesome until it evolves.

    MAGIKARP FOR THE WIN! WOO KARP KARP.

    Also for the 2nd round, I'm gonna go with hitmnchan. He can learn Ice,Fire,Thunder,Dynamic Punch and etc. that is very useful against several types.
     
    Well, for round 2, I'm going to have to go with Hitmonchan! As stated by the user above, it learns the elemental punches, ass well as a few of his own punches! It's a great fighting type pokemon, all around! That is, except for GBA (without the Physical/Special split), where moves were classified by their type, therefore, making the elemental punches useless on Hitmonchan. It is still good, regardless, and earns my vote!
    So now:

    1 point to Jolteon! It is.one of the best Eeveelutions of all time. Good Speed and Sp. Atk. His movepool is shallow, but that won't stop him from hitting hard. It's also very cute :]

    I'm voting for Electabuzz. I love using it in ROM hacks, because it gets Thunderbolt, Psychic, and the elemental punches, and it has the right stats to use them.

    And yes, I know the elemental punches are physical now, but I'm talking about hacks from the second and third generations, like Fire Red Omega.

    No question here. Electabuzz is just electaboss.
     
    Electabuzz gets through this round with ease! Electabuzz is pretty powerful in Nuzlockes. Also has only one weakness, and is a rare Pokemon in the Kanto and Jotho games. I like rare Pokaymanz ;)
