It was a dark night and a riot was going on at the Celadon Maximum Security Prison. An inmate punched another over a card game and some of the other more impressionable inmates started beating each other until it caught on to almost everyone and there wasn't any more prisoners to hit so they start to take out the guards. As far as most of the inmates were concerned it was just a standard riot but to Alex it was perfectly timed for him to go ahead with is plan. While the prisoners were fighting Alex slipped out of the cell block and headed straight for the administrative offices. He knew exactly what he had to do and the officers in the offices knew what he was going to do and they were prepared. As Alex ran through the many corridors he saw many bloody faces and many more of the younger inmates cowering away from the fighting. Though many of the tougher inmates saw him and could've pounced at him they didn't. He had set himself as the toughest guy in the prison on day one after he took out a couple of rather burly, brainless morons and thankfully his reputation in there had stayed for the few days he was in there.
Alex finally reached the offices and rammed down the door. As soon as he was through he was attacked, or would've been if he was anyone else.
"I take it that my clothes are in this locker?" Alex quietly said to the lieutenant.
"Of course, just as we said they would be. Why were you asking?" the police lieutenant demanded.
"Well let's just say I've been deceived many times before."
Alex opened the locker to find his new set of clothes in the locker. He took them from the locker and quickly changed. If anyone had looked in the room during that time they would've thought that the officers in the room had forgotten there was a riot going on and were dumb enough to be fooled by an inmate that they had believed that he was late for a sophisticated party and as an apology had bought him a suit for the occasion. After Alex was ready he asked where his Elekid was.
"Just down the corridor, past cell block E." the police lieutenant plainly stated then added, "Be careful. If you're seen dressed like that this whole thing will go up in flames."
"Don't worry," Alex said reassuringly, "If I couldn't do this I wouldn't be here."
He then jumped up and ripped a vent from the ceiling and clambered up and carried on his way to the Pokémon holding cages. On his way he heard very small amounts of fighting and wondered if crawling through this tight space was necessary. After another few minutes he found the right room and dropped down into it. He knew it was the room purely because it had been painted onto the floor in bold letters by the idiots who did the maintenance for the place for the bigger idiots who had to patrol this part of the building. Alex scanned the many cages filled with Pokémon each with sheets attached to the door of the cages listing what was being done with the Pokémon. Most were the same and had the standard message of;
REHABILITATION: 2 HOURS
RELEASE AFTER REHAB
Alex eventually found the cage with;
KEEP HOLD OF FOR LATER PICK-UP
He opened the door of the cage and was immediately punched by an enraged Elekid.
"Dude get off, it's me!" Alex hurriedly told the Elekid.
The Elekid immediately got off of it's trainer and happily howled.
"Hush boy, we need to keep quiet," Alex worriedly told the Elekid, "Now quickly follow me."
The two speedily ran through a few corridors, fortunately not running into any prisoners on the way to their destination. The doors to the generator flew open as Alex through himself at it at full force. As they both ran into the room they saw the giant electrical generator running at full power, producing more noise than electricity.
"Well Thunder, it's time to solve our problem with a bit of wanton destruction," Alex said to his Elekid, "Now use Charge Beam!!!"
After Alex spoke Thunder began to glow a brilliant yellow then just as it's body began to become fully engulfed in the light it let loose an amazing blast of electricity and cause the generator to explode into flames, destroying itself and the wall behind it. The duo began to run out of the prison complex and after a good ten minutes of running, Alex pulled a pair of sunglasses out and wore them, then putting a finger to the arm of the glasses and said;
"Alex Ashford reporting in. I've escaped the prison"
A female voice was on the other end and responded with "Roger Alex. Please report in at headquarters, located in Fuchsia City."
"Understood, I'll be there in a half hour maximum." replied Alex.
After catching a bus to Fuchsia City Alex went to the address he was given and entered the large building. There was a secretary at the desk by the entrance.
"Good evening, what business do you have here?" the secretary asked Alex.
"I'm a new spy and here's my badge to prove it." Alex showed his new KSA badge to confirm his identity.
"Very good. Here's your new KSA ID Card. It'll let you into most areas in this building. Now please head down the corridor and take the first two lefts."
"Thank you miss. I'll be on my way."
Alex headed down the corridor and took the first two lefts, just as the secretary had told him, and came to a door. It slid open and he came into a room full of a variety of pokémon and a few white-coat scientists flipping through the pages of their clipboards. Alex gave a few hard knocks to the wall to get the scientists attention until one finally came over.
"Erm, Agent Lightening, is it?" The scientist said.
"That's correct." Alex replied in a no-nonsense, monotonous manner.
"Ah, good. Now according to the information I've been given you requested a Stantler. That's correct?"
"Of course."
"Very good. Well here's your Stantler," the scientist handed a heavy ball to Alex and continued, "Well then, I'm Dr. Crispen and I'll answer any questions you have to the best of my ability."
"Thank you Dr. Crispen. Now where should I head to now?"
"Ah, just carry on through here and you'll arrive in the briefing room." Crispen pointed to the other end of the room.
"Well it's been nice meeting you but I'll be on my way now." Alex said as sincerely as possible and then headed for the door. As he got to the door he felt a tug at his trousers. He turned around to see his Elekid wearing a worried look on it's face.
"Don't worry Thunder, I haven't forgotten about you and you'll always be my favourite."
"Elek-Leki-Kid" Thunder still couldn't shake it's worried look from its face.
"Are you worried about meeting new people? Well that makes the two of us. Come here, I'll carry you in."
Thunder climbed into Alex's arms and was cradled like a small child. Taking in a deep breath Alex walked into the next room.
There was already a few people in the room. Alex had come to the edge of screaming inside his head. He was never very good at meeting new people and usually either came of as a strange and creepy mute or as a stuttering, again, creepy idiot. Swallowing down his fears he announce to the others, "Hello everyone, I'm Alex Ashford".
