From the way the Jazmine's Growlithe was growling at him he could tell that it wasn't comfortable around him. Deciding that it'd be best for himself, Jazmine and the Growlithe, Alex got up, said "Nice talking to you Jazmine, I'll definitely enjoy working someone like you.", gave a tip of his invisible hat and walked away. Alex gave the room a quick look-over to see if there was an opportunity to acquaint himself with anyone else. "Damn. I'm getting into this already."

He saw a man sitting in a seat with a Cubone by his feet, edging towards Jazmine. He seemed kind of nervous but that seemed to be the general air of the room at the moment so he thought it'd be best if he spoke to him. At least it might lighten him up. Walking over to the nervous looking man he said "Hello. I'm Alex pleasure to meet you. Might I ask your name?"

I looked across at two more men, one was looking nervous. "Hello." I said, smiling. "I'm Tess, and this is my pokemon, Houndour." I said, gestering to him. "Waht's your name?"

(OOC: Guys, not too many one liners please :P)

"Haha, hi guys!" Colin heard from across the room as he was talking to a few others. It came from a girl with a Vulpix on her shoulder, and she seemed pretty exited. Colin got up and walked over to her.

"Hey nice to see you!" he shook her hand, "I'm Agent Zeph, and I'll be your team leader. What about yourself?"

Before he could hear her answer, James from earlier appeared again at the door. He closed it behind him as everyone quickly grew quiet, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I trust your travels were safe? If you would please take a seat...

"Ahh, down to buisness!" Colin said quite eagerly to Dean and the girl he was just introducing himself to. He sat near the end of the table, and motioned to the other two to sit next to him. The lights flicked off and a projector came on at a big screen.

"Now then," James began, clearing his throat, "I welcome you all to the Kanto Spy Acency! Congratulations on being accepted as fine candidates for this orginasation. This Agency will cover a number of areas: you may find yourself aiding the Police force, maybe investigating cases for clients, or even going undecover - the point is, it's serious buisness."

Colin thought to himself. These tasks sounded exiting!

"Now, I feel the best way to gain experience is to simply get you working as soon as possible, and it seems you're in luck." James put a briefcase on the table and unclicked the locks on it. He opened the briefcase, and pulled out a lusterious, blue gem. "Who knows what this is?" he asked them.

"Is that... a Sapphire?" Colin said, slightly taken aback,

"Correct. What you see here is the Sapphire which radiates special energy, used to help Pokemon from the Hoenn region survive in Kanto. As you may know, however, there is one other stone - a Ruby."

Colin felt his jaw slowly drop. Such an importand object was right infront of him...

"We have recieved reports that Team Rocket has stolen the Ruby and intend to sell it on the black market - we're talking hundreds of thousands of pokedollars value here. Luckily, some of our specialists retrieved the Sapphire so we could protect it from being stolen aswell. There is good news - we know where this Ruby is. The local Police have gathered information, and we know know that Team Rocket has the Ruby, and is hiding within Mt. Moon. This is where you come in,"

Colin sat up in his seat.

"We are sending you, our new Spies, to Mt. Moon for your first Mission - Operation: Ruby Rescue. The plan is simple: go in, find and capture The Rocket members inside, retreive the Ruby. Can't go wrong, can you? Agent Zeph here..." James motioned to Colin. He looked at the rest of the spies and waved briefly, "...will be your Team leader. You will also need these."

James went into his briefcase again, and pulled out several shades. He handed one to each of them, "These are Standard Agency Shades, or SAS. This is the essential tool of any Spy or Agent, use them with care."

Colin put his SAS on and clicked a button on the side. The shades suddenly acted like a sort of visor, and he could see all sorts of information on it. There was a menu for camera, light, night vision... awsome!

"Thank you for your time Agents. An Aero-carrier will be ready to depart for Mt. Moon in 30 minutes. Good luck." With that, James left the room.

There was a brie pause. Nobody was sure what to say. Colin broke the silence,

"Well," he said to the others, "let's prepare!"

Eek, sorry xD

________________

I was in the middle of introducing myself when one of the KSA Bosses or something like that had come in. Carrying a brown leather briefcase, and some sort of eqiutment that looked like shades. After a while of talking, he pulled out a blue gemstone, a wonderful Sapphire. I was ready to answer the question, but someone beatr me to it.

I learned two things. One that the Sapphire and Ruby were so incredibly important, second thing is that being a Spy is more than just adventure and adrenaline. It's loyalty to the Kanto region as well.

I then got handed the SAS, a brilliant gadget whish would definatley come in handy. I put it in my black leather bag, then I heard that Agent Zeph (the one who answered the question) was also team leader. Better make myself known.

"Hi" I smiled while the others started to move, "I'm Tessa Day, nice to meet you." I stuck my hand out to Colin.

"I'm Tessa Day, nice to meet you." One girl said to Colin, hand outstretched

"Huh? Oh, yea hi! I'm Colin, Agent Zeph," he shook her hand, "I look forward to working with you" he said with a smile.

Colin looked again through his SAS, and chose to look at his party. There was Zang, silent and sound as always, and there was his new Lotad. He decided to check and see how their conditions were. According to the SAS, both were in good condition, and ready to fight, but Colin thought it best to talk to them anyhow.

He summoned both Zang and the Lotad and kneeled down next to them, "Heya Zang, good sleep?"

"Zaang..." Zang said, laid back as usual. Unlike other Zangoose, he wasn't as aggressive towards others, probably because of Colin's training. It eyed up the new Lotad, and nodded at it.

"Hmm..." said Colin to the new Lillypad pokemon, thinking of a nickname, "Rikko. I'm Colin, your new master, and this is Zang." The Lotad gazed at Zang and let out a small sound. "Okay guys, we're about to go to Mt. Moon, retrieve a Ruby from Team Rocket. So I'm counting on you." With that, Colin retrieved Zang and Rikko.

While talking to Ryley, a man came in and gathered every one to their chairs. He then spoke about our first mission. We were to retrieve a ruby currently in possession of Team Rocket who are holding it in Mt. Moon. It seemed an awfully big mission for everyone, especially for a first mission.

Thinking about how the mission could go Alex started to have a bit clearer thoughts on the mission. From what everyone was told it seemed that we were simply stealing a Ruby from Team Rocket. Having this new thought on the mission calmed him. He knew that it probably wasn't that simple but the idea of it calmed him anyway.

Once again "Zeph" had been pointed out as leader of this small group of people. Alex knew the others would probably introduce themselves to him to get in his good books but, in Alex's eyes, it just seemed like begging for attention. He decided that if he wanted to get a little higher through the ranks he'd get there by performing well. After mulling it over in his head Alex decided to just sit and wait for the start of the mission.

After saying hello, Colin turned to look at his SAS. I noticed that you could look at your pokemon party, so I decided to do the same.

"Houndour? Could you face me for a minute?" I asked him.

Houndour nodded, and turned to me while I pulled out my SAS and quickly scanned him. On the device it said that he was in a good, healthy condition and that he should be evolving soon.

"Wow, this gadget is really amazing Houndour." I smiled at him, and he diggy smiled back, his eyes a warm glow.

I looked back over to Colin, and saw that he had a Zangoose and a Lotad out. His Zangoose was so laid back, the last time I had seen a Zangoose it was in a bloody battle with a Seviper.

"Wow, your Zangoose is so laid back," I grinned, "How did you manage it?" I asked, while crouching down to see if Zangoose would be okay with being pet.

(if anything was said to me im sorry i dont have much time to read it all right now im just going to post on the breifing of the mission. Also no one knows about my eye condition but omnizaru as he is leader)

As Dan watched the slide show he remembered veiwing Mt. Moon before in his life during his job as an assistant to professor Oak. Dan looked at his team ounce more and saw many faces only 2 years younger then him or so. He then looked at his Squirtle and Corsola. "Ready guys?" he asked in a whisper. Each nodded. Their understandent to him was incredible he thought. "Good." he whispered again. He then sat in silence awaiting any further instruction from the leader Zeph. He also heard someone who he thought introduced himself as ryley asking him when we would be leaving. "Well" he thought "I hope its soon".

Fuchsia City
Rosa Raider, a.k.a. new agent "Swift", had a determined look on her face on this cloudy night. She had worked her butt off in school to get revenge on her parents, whom joined Team Rocket as an escape from their horrendous lifestyle. Now, she was very excited, but showed no sign of it, and determined to defeat Team Rocket.

Agent Swift arrived at a moderate sized building. It shone with neon colors because it was late at night. That building was the KSA headquarters.

Rosa walked into the building and went to an office.

"Room 011, Ms. Espiano, Secretary," read Rosa. Rosa knocked on the door. A tall, pale skinned woman stepped out. She had short white hair. She had a monobrow with sparkling blue eyes. She had an intent expression on her face. She had a moderate body build. She covered her body with a white outfit, long pants and a long sleeve shirt, white shoes as well.

"Ms. Espiano here, can I help you?" asked the secretary.

"Yes. I am Rosa Raider, a new spy for the agency. I recieved word I was supposed to come here," replied Rosa.

"Of course," Ms. Espiano said. She paused for a moment. She seemed to be looking for something. " Good, I see the badge. Now go up to the second floor, Room 110. One of the CEO Scientists will give you a Pokemon. Now, hurry. The leader is awaiting you."

Rosa Raider walked outside of the room. She walked left of the dark hallway. She saw that every door was identical and the pattern only stopped in the middle.

After walking for one minute, Rosa arrived at an elevator. It opened as soon as she pressed the up button. She walked in the elevator. The elevator had a black carpet and metal walls. In thirty seconds, Rosa arrived at the second floor.

As Rosa walked down the hallway, she was thinking, "Am I going to be bested by these new agents? Will they be smarter than me?" Another voice popped in and said, "No way, you will easily become the first C.E.O."

Her thoughts argued for a while. Rosa lost focus on what she was doing. Then, Mr. Laborum, the scientist of Room 110 kicked Rosa in the stomach. Rosa snapped out of her internal debate and then lunged at the scientist.

"Agent Swift! Please calm down!" yelled Mr. Laborum. The scientist grabbed Rosa on the leg. "Come into the Room, Agent Swift," invited the scientist.

"My name is Brian Laborum. I am an excellent scientist of the KSA. Now, we need to wrap this up quickly. Now, who is it that you requested for your mission partner?" asked Mr. Laborum.

"Lunatone, thank you," Rosa answered.

"Oh, yes. I'll be right back," said the scientist.

In the back of his lab, Brian was searching for Lunatone. "All right, so where is it. Lets see. Hmm... where is Lunatone? Oh, yes, there it is!" he exclaimed. "Agent Swift, Lunatone," read the line under the Pokeball.

"Here you are, Agent Swift. You must get into the room with all the other spies. I'll show you to it."

"Thank you, Mr. Laborum," gratified Rosa.

"No problem."

The room was on the third floor, Room 276. When Rosa walked in, James, the boss of the agency, was almost finished explaining the mission. Rosa heard something about a Ruby and it being stolen by Team Rocket. She heard the last part about what they had to do and about Agent Zeph being the Team Leader.

When the boss finished talking, everyone recieved a SAS, a tool used by spies of the KSA. It had night vision, a camera, and other awesome stuff. Then, everyone started talking to each other. Rosa walked over to a man named Agent Dusk and sent out her Pokemon. Lunatone shot a psychic beam at Dusk., which made him fall.

Agent Swift was mortified. "Oh...crud. Are you all right, Agent Dusk?"

(OOC: Short post. I don't really have a lot of muse right now. >.>)

Beatrice put her SAS on, and sat thinking about the mission briefing. The mission itself didn't sound too difficult, but she knew that it was still very important. "We must not let those evil Team Rocket members get away with such a crime." she thought. She patted the two Pokeballs on her side.

Beatrice looked over to where the team leader was standing. He was talking to many people. She decided she might as well talk to him, since they hadn't really met before. So, she walked up to him and began to speak. "Hello! Your the team leader, right? I'm Beatrice, or Agent Aria."

Kendra just watched as the other Agents entered the board room and then the head guy came and told them about their first mission. All the while, she just absent mindly stroke Kiba's thin fur. She frowned slightly when the boss said that the one boy was to be the leader of the group. Kendra didn't understand what made that person so much better then the other Agents in the room. But she didn't say anything at that moment.

When they got the SAS, Kendra put the headset on and gently poked Kiba awaked. The electric dog grunted and looked up at his trainer and grunted. Kendra then used it to see what kind of condition Elecstrike was in. She was pleased to see that he was very healthy and seemed close to evolving. Kendra then looked at the leader and asked, "So, when do we start?"

Ciyan was about to reply to this Dean, or Agent Creven but they were interrupted by the entering of two men. They motioned them all to sit and quickly talked about a Sapphire and a Ruby and going to Mt. Moon to retrieve one or the other back from Team Rocket. Mt. Moon? That was pretty far away, Ciyan knew this herself. The fastest way would take the bicycle path up and travel to Cerulean from there and then to Mt. Moon. Easy mission? Maybe.

Ciyan turned back to Dean and laughed. "Sorry, I'm Ciyan. Or Agent Kyuubi. And this is my Vulpix... Kyuubi! Haha," She laughed again. She shook his hand tightly and nodded her head. Making new friends and partners was a main key to this, wasn't it?

"Excuse me!" A lady bustled in the room, panting slightly. "I'm looking for Agent Kyuubi?"

"That's me," Ciyan put her hand up and went up to the lady. "What can I do for you?" The lady thrust a PokéBall into her hands.

"That's for you, your agency Pokémon. You said in your CV you'd want a bird type, so here you are. Thank you, no problem!" She said before running off. Ciyan was left there a little startled but turned back to Dean and smiled.

"That was a little weird, haha," Ciyan looked at the ball in her hand and smiled again. She could only wonder what was inside it.

"That, it was!" Dean replied in laughter. "So team Rocket's got a Ruby stowed away in Mt. Moon, huh?" He quietly said with his finger to his chin rubbing is thin beard, "This is our first mission! Are you excited?"

Dean was contemplating a few things in the back of his mind, though still completely concentrated on the fair ladies answer. "I wonder what's the fastest route to Mt. Moon...?" He wondered, "And, how are we being paired?" These were questions really concerning Dean at the moment.

"Excuse me," He called out, "Agent Zeph? Would you come over here, please? I'd like to ask you a few questions concerning the mission."

This is not going very well, Jazmine thought quietly, I seem to be making a complete fool of myself for some reason I don't understand. Maybe I'm just a bit socially inept today...or something. She sighed as both Alex and Agent Seal moved elsewhere in the room. Well, at least now I can let Growlithe out without having him growling at someone. Jazmine reached down to her belt and retrieved Growlithe's Pokeball, tossing the ball a little ways into the air. "Come back out Growlithe!" Jazmine said as her Pokemon appeared on the ground in front of her from a red beam of light. Upon his release, Growlithe circled around Jazmine and was pleased to find that the two men from before were now out of sight. Jazmine then quickly apologized for having to return Growlithe to his Pokeball, but the dog Pokemon didn't seem angry or upset in the least.

While hugging Growlithe, a man entered the room, appearing to be a high ranking officer or commander. The man asked them all to take their seats, and then gave a little welcoming speech. He seemed like a nice enough man, so Jazmine liked him. "Now, I feel the best way to gain experience is to simply get you working as soon as possible, and it seems you're in luck." the man said as he pulled out a brief case. Jazmine's eyes widened when she saw the brilliant sapphire laying in the case. And it was no ordinary sapphire at that. This was the sapphire that helped maintain Pokemon life in the Hoenn Region! While Jazmine was stared in awe at the gem, the man went on to explain that the sapphire's counterpart, the ruby, had recently been stolen by Team Rocket and was being hidden within the peaks of Mt. Moon.

"Did you hear that Growlithe?" Jazmine asked her Pokemon quietly, "It looks like we're going to be going on a mission today; on our first day here! This will be a great way for you to make up for barking in all the guys' faces, and for me to make up for somehow making a fool out of myself! We'll be able to prove that we're hard working, dedicated Agents!" Growlithe licked Jazmine's face in response. The man then went around the room, handing each Agent what he called a SAS. Jazmine took hers, examining the piece of essential equipment carefully. When she placed the SAS over her eyes, she was surprised to see a menu on the black of the lenses. It seemed that these SAS's were very high tech and would probably save her skin on intense missions.

"Well Growlithe, how do I look?" Jazmine asked, posing as if for a picture. She laughed as Growlithe licked her face again. "I know, I look really silly." Jazmine said rubbing Growlithe's tummy, "Now, let's see what this SAS thing can do." Using her eyes for a mouse, Jazmine scrolled over to the area that allowed her to check the status of her Pokemon. She then looked over at Growlithe, and saw that he was in good condition and completely healthy. "Man this thing is useful." Jazmine said, impressed, "I wonder how much they cost . . ."

"I wonder how much they cost . . ." Alex heard. Turning to see who had said it he saw Jazmine fiddling with her SAS. Rather than trying to block everything out of his head and try and get a few minutes sleep he decided he'd start talking again. Who knows? It may help that Growlithe get over it's hatred of men. Or at least Alex. He didn't quite feel like getting growled or barked at, especially during missions.

Alex got up and decided to give a little interjection to Jazmine's thoughts and said, "Don't think you'd be able to buy any of these any time soon. It's some nasty stuff, or at least could be if Team Rocket got their hands on it. Bit of a double-edged sword really. If any of us lost ours during a mission, I'm not implying anything it's just hypothetical, but IF someone lost theirs during a mission and Team Rocket found it, who knows what they could engineer it into. It's reminiscent of the Master Balls that Silph Co. developed. They're horrible things."

After he'd finished, Alex realised he'd just ranted about a pair of sunglasses an quickly apologised, "I'm sorry, I get lost in my own words sometimes. Anyway, erm, d'you mind if I ask you a bit of a personal question?"

Ryley was hit to the floor by a strange beam. He looked around all puzzled at wher eit came from and saw a Lunatone. Kara started to growl angrily and stared at the pokemon. She quickly picked her bone up and got it ready. "I-I'm okay.. Why would you do something like that though?" Ryley asked as he got up. He looked at Kara and sighed. "Kara I'm fine, calm down okay?" Kara looked up at Ryley and stopped growling but still stared at the Lunatone. Ryley looked at everyone in the room and they all seemed to be staring at him, his face went so red it looked like he was sunburnt. "Uhh.. I.. Uhh.." He muttered quietly. He looked back at the lunatone and its trainer. "Just.." He had no idea what to say. This is the worst thing that could have happened, I'm so embarrased and speechless.. He thought as he looked around the room once more.

"Lunatone! You messed up an opportunity for a friendship between us! Why did you do that to him? He is a fellow agent and I want him to succeed and you hit him with a psybeam? Grrr! Lunatone, return!" scolded Rosa.

"Agent Dusk, I apologize. I did not command Lunatone. I just got him today, a few minutes ago. I don't know why he did that. Again, I seriously apologize. With my winning discipline methods, I will train him to be tame and sane. Can we become friends, Agent Dusk?" apologized Agent Swift.

Ciyan was given a pair of sunglasses, or SAS as they called it. She didn't really care what they were called, they looked pretty spiffy. She put them on for a few seconds, seeing all sorts of applications like a camera, a phone, a satelitte, even some kind of internet! She pushed a few buttons then took them off. She didn't really want to break them or stuff them up as soon as she got them, no matter how cool they looked. Kyuubi pushed them from her hand and onto the top of the head.

<This looks just as cool!> Kyuubi nodded. Ciyan laughed with her.

"Sure am! I can't wait to climb it," Ciyan smiled at Dean. Kyuubi on her shoulder gave an agreeing cry. "I love climbing and jumping and running. Do you?"

"Excuse me," Dean from earlier called out, "Agent Zeph? Would you come over here, please? I'd like to ask you a few questions concerning the mission."

"Ahh, right. Well, we're about to leave in..." Colin checked the time, "about five minutes to an air-carrier that will take us to Mt. Moon. When we're there, I'll instruct you all what to do next."

Just as he finished, he could see on his SAS visor, "Incoming call - James C." Colin answered, "Yeah? What's up?"

"Zeph, the aircraft is ready for launch. You and your fellow Agents make your way to the runway area... enjoy your trip." With that, James hung up.

Zeph also clicked off of the phone menu, "Okay everyone, follow me." he said aloud.

He exited the room and walked over to the main reception. From there, he followed a sign which lead to the back entrance of the building. Once outside, he could see a bus-sized, hover vehicle - engines growling and Pilots in place. One man came over to Zeph and the rest of the Agents, "Are you leaving for Ruby Rescue? He asked, to which Zeph replied with a nod, "Good, enter the Aircarrier." He motioned to the vehicle.

Zeph climber inside and was nicely surprised by how comfortable and tidy the interior of the Aircarrier was - the seats looked brand-new and there was about twenty of them, so there was enough space. He took his seat at one of the front row seats and fastened his belt. After the rest of the Agents got in, he nodded to the Pilots,

"Okay, we're good to go!"

(OOC: I'll wait for some of you to catch up :P Also, see the OOC Thread)

"Well guys we are here." dan said to his pokemon as they aproached the carrier. "Looks expensive" he thought as he walked up the ramp. "OK" he said aloud "I'm in" as he strapped on his safty harness he saw Zeph move to the front of the carrier. "OK" he told his pokemon "return". As he held his pokeballs out corsola returned but squirtle dodged it. "Oh right. This is your first time in a pokeball isn't it"? Squirtle nodded. "Its OK then if you really want but please I'm not going to break the rules for you, your going in the ball if you have to." he told squirtle. Squirtle stood there looking at him like he was upset. "Fine I will ask Zeph as far as I know its going to be his call on it. He unclipped his harness and walked over to Colin. "Hey Zeph (or colin if you prefer) do you know if squirtle rides on my lap?" Dan asked. " He has never acually been in a pokeball".

"Okay everyone, follow me.", Zeph told everyone.

"Crap. I'm sorry but we've got to go. I'll talk to you later." Alex quickly told Jazmine before she could reply. He ran outside, racing to be the first one to whatever it was that was going to take them to Mt. Moon. As he got outside he was slightly disappointed to see that another agent, apart from Zeph, had gotten there before him although that disapointment was short-lived after he saw the transportation. Him and that other agents were going to be transported to Mt. Moon in a massive Aircarrier. It was the largest he had seen, although he had only seen a few which were quite dilapidated anad had been left to rust in some of the Team Rocket bases. The inside of the vehicle itself was even more impressive. It looked like it had had a complete redesign on the inside as it looked less like a simple vehicle and more like a luxurious room in a pristine hotel. There were plenty of seats and they seemed brand new. Seating himself at the back end of the vehicle he strapped himself in decided to try and have a nap. After all, they weren't going to be leaving any time soon and even if they left now it'd take a while to get to Mt. Moon unless this Aircarrier was extremely fast. Besides any amount of time for sleep will help him concentrate on the mission to come.
