Hm, interesting question... I suppose with most anime episodes featuring legendaries, theres probably another ... legend ... about them not in the movie they were in. Id want to see that, especially if they were in a multiple part special or something. It would be cool to see the Latis kick some Team Rocket butt in a future episode, seeing that most anime espisodes with legendaries also involve them trying in vain to steal the poor Pokémon =/
Other than that, all I can think of is pretty vague o.0 Hopefully they'll show up soon! ^_^

EDIT: And btw ... Specter has, in the past week, rocketed up the ranks to Active Member!

Time to answer my own question. In a future episode, Latias will probably be the center of it all. A visit to Ash or by Ash, spied on by Team Rocket, who try to steal Latias, get owned in the process, and a happy ending.

For a movie... Giovanni might try and capture Latias again... only this time he uses an army of Rocket Grunts to do it. So it's up to Ash, Pikachu and company to save Latias and possibly Altomare.

And speaking of Team Rocket and the Latis, Ive watched the JAP version of Pokémon Heroes recently and its interesting to note that Annie and Oakley in the movie were actually not part of Team Rocket as noted in the english version. So if Team Rocket were after them again in the anime, it would probably be their first attempt.

It seems that when legendaries are involved, the lowly Jessie, James and Meowth dont contribute as much of their clumsy badness as they usually do. Such as with the main admins of Team Aqua/Magma during the clash of Kyogre and Groudon, or with Giovanni and Mewtwo. So we may see some high ranked criminal members when the Latis make their debut! ^_^;
