"Tiamat!" I yelled rejoicingly as I saw her surface, and then I noticed that she was smiling, more of a giveaway than the lack of the staff. I went as pale as someone with a gerudo tan could, and fell to my knees, the water coming up to my neck as I clasped my hands together and bowed my head forward. "Please, have mercy..." I said, not on the point of tears, but certainly frantic.

"Heck no. You made my life miserable, this is payback, sweetie." I said harshly, floating easily beyond his reach. "how does it feel, knowing that somebody's tapped into your life and won't let you return to a normal form? You've made me feel it for too long."

I paled further, but I knew she was right. I let my hands drop, and I slouched, defeated. My nose almost touching the surface of the water. I mumbled to myself, not really knowing, or caring if she could heart me or not "She makes it sound as if I had a choice..." Though I was already in the act of rising and turning for the shore.

I dove again, fetching the stick, though keeping it under the water as I surfaced, making sure he couldn't see it. I wanted to see how he would act knowing he was bested for once. "You didn't even bother to take my thoughts into consideration! You just drag me out of my life and place me into yours without even bothering to ask!"

I didn't say anything. After all, she didn't seem to get it before when I had said that I didn't have a choice. Maybe I'd try to explain it again later... I rose and turned from her, wearily marching my way back to the shore, feeling like my world was falling apart...

At that particular moment, something sailed in a slight arc through the air, hitting Psycho in the head for the second time in as many minutes. I was still in the water, though the stick I had been keeping submerged was no longer with me. I had taken pity on him and thrown it at/to him. either way, he was going to have a massive headache...

I had gotten just onto the shore when the acursed item found me, and as fate would have it, it hit me on the head, in the exact same spot where she had hit me before. Needless to say, the pain I felt was extreme, to the point where my brain decided not to cope with it. I was unconscious in the sand before I knew that I was male again.

Frankly the whole series of events confused me, and I had been sitting in a small planting field under a scare crow the whole time, watching with a minor amount of amusement. With me being forgotten by them, I figured I wasn't going to get a chance to ask any of my questions, and considered going back to the tunnel to go home. I figured my mom was starting to worry where I was.

I came out of the water laughing, oblivious to the other Zora at the moment. This was funnier then most anything I had bothered doing. I considered throwing him into the water, but decided aginst it. I glanced up at where the other Zora was perched, and said "too bad you couldn't have joined in, that was rather amusing..."

'You looked like you could handle it." I grinned from the shore. " No sense getting my feet wet if there is no need." I said, although in a way where she knew I was teasing. I stood up and dusted teh dirt from the fields off my legs before walking towards teh water's edge. " I think at this rate you're buddy Rauru is going to be very confused as to what gender he is." I laughed.

"Well, one, he's not my buddy, two, he deserves it after shattering what little life I had." i said, kicking at Rauru slightly. when he didn't wake up, I said "I am tempted to make him look REALLY girly. Cause we still have the stick..." I left the rest of it unsaid as various senarios ran through my mind... each of them deliciously evil...

I snagged the slingshot bullet out of the air with my hand. It stung like crazy, but I refused to let it show. "Tu quoque, Puer." I said in latin as I dropped the bullet. " You just told her not to pick on him, yet you start picking on her. Hradly a good example to set." I said seriously, frowning and subtely rubbing the palm of my hand to ease the sting.

I had regained Consciousness in time to hear Tiamat's words, but I continued breathing deeply, my face still in the sand. If she was going to try something, I needed to recover fast so that I could run away. Still, she was right, i had destroyed her life. I didn't really think about how it would affect those I travel with. Not that I had a choice in the matter, but I still should have at least been sympathetic...

"I don't even know what's going on, and I certainly am no hero.' I mutterd, starting to get annoyed with this little man. " I just swam though an underwater tunnel and ended up here. I've been actually intending to ask where here is, but I have yet to get the chance."I looked around, seeing if anyone would bother to offer me an answer.

I got up, slowly pulling myself out of the sand. I couldn't let them leave, but I wasn't going to chance saying anything with tiamat around until I had a firm grip on the staff. I just had to figure out where it landed first, because I didn't see it anywhere around me. I slowly got to my feet, still a bit dizzy from the repetitive attacks, and looked around, trying to see where the staff had gone.

"Ansem, this is Lake Hylia, to answer your question. Psycho there seems to be dragging random people on this quest he keeps talking about incessantly. I swear, I'd shut him up pernamently if I had a way to do so." I said, shifting slightly. I did need a way to make him be quiet, maybe someone here had an idea...

"What sort of quest?" I asked curiously. I hadn't ever heard of a wandering QuestMaster before, at least not in real life. only in stories at home, speaking of a wanderer who sought the destinies of future heroes. Either way, though, I had to be certain if this guy was just a loony s Tiamat said or may actually have some sense to his search.

Still though, looking around, it seemed Tiamat and the short imp child were both of the opinion he was crazy.

"I'm looking for the temples left by the legendary hero." I said, standing up, using the staff as an aid to keep me from falling over. I related the tale to him about how I had found the gigantic tree with some help, and of the writing on the wall which clearly was speaking to me, and of our journey here from the koroki forest. "And the first temple," I said, trying to catch my breath, not really needing the staff to stand any more "...Is somewhere in this area, if I understand what the writing said."
