I sensed her temporary loss of control and turned to her. "Something wrong?" I asked. I had never seen another Zora lose control of their electrical aura before. I figures something else may have afflicted her. Perhaps a strong magnetic pull. I heard the moon was full tonight. But with it being day, the probability of that seemed rather low. Which still left as to why she reacted as she did.

I surfaced, breathing deeply after Ansem had destroyed the rock, and as a reesult, I had missed the events below the surface. I looked around, expecting another seed rushing towards my skull. I needed to find askan, we couldn't leave anyone behind, and I decided that I most certainly did not want to see what fate would throw our way if we tried to leave Askan behind...

"I'm not sure. Never happened to me before." I said to ansem, before moving to the surface. "He has a point." I said after I surfaced. "None of us have eaten for a while." I pointed out, looking around for some fish. My blades made short work of anything I encountered, including fish, and I for one did not mind raw fish... then again, it was all I had eaten for 10 years.

"Fine," I said, climbing onto the shore and pulling the staff and sword back into my grasp. I didn't trust Askan enough to leave the staff in his reach. He'd probably hit us all with it, and then burn it, or something worse. I fastened the sword seath as well as the staff over my back in their usual X pattern, and sat down on the shore next to askan. "What all do you have in there?" I asked, curious. I'd make do with some berries for now, fresh meat could wait until after we had gone to the zora's domain...

"Not hungry." I said gruffly. "and you guys better make this short. That tunnel has been nothing but a greivance, and once I get through I'm closing it for good on the other side. So if you're going to eat, please hurry." I say, crossing my arms and sitting on a fallen pilalr a distance from the others, my back turned toward them.

"I'll be fine with this." I said with a handfull of berries of some of the different kinds he had mentioned, which I had taken from the bag while he was talking. I ate fast, as there would be time to relax once we were in the zora's domain. I finished it in a matter of moments, and was already at the water line, stretching and breathing deeply for what was likely to be a difficult swim underwater to the other side.

Withen moments, I had managed to dive, snag a fish, and fellet it quickly, bringing the fillets to the surface to I could swallow them immediatly. I didn't waste time with chewing, as they were slippery enough to just go down my throat, and I needed to go through quite a few fish to be able to fill myself. I went through about 10 fish before I was even slightly satiated. I stayed in a tight circle since the rest of the fish had fled, and I dared not chase after them lest fate decide to make today any more unfortunate for me...

After I was finished, I gently placed my hands underneath the water, and repeated the procedure of making the noise to call tiamat. There were some important things that I needed to discuss with her. I wasn't sure how the zora's would react to an exile being returned to their midst, and I didn't paticularly feel like having to fight the way through.

I moved over to him, though I was constantly glansing back to see if the fish schools would get back over here, and I pretty much made it so I beached myself, not coming fully out of the water, and I said "yea, what is it?" though i was constantly glansing back to check on the fish schools...

"Well, I know you were exiled from the zora's domain..." I began, though noting her distraction. "I'm no diplomat, how do you think they'll react to an exile at their back door? I don't favor our chances if we have to fight our way through, and the Zora's domain is by far the fastest route." I explained, my face serious.I actually hoped that this could be done peacefully. I was beginning to get distracted by her constant glanses at the fish, and a joke was beginning to take shape in my mind. I'd wait for her to answer, though...

"I'm willing that they'll make comments about the poision girl being back, but I doubt a direct attack on a sub-adult female zora." I said with a yawn, trying to keep from spinning around to go after the fish that were filling in where I had been feeding. I wanted to be as full as possible if the trip was to be long, since I could force my body to use the fuel it had sparingly...

"I see. Well, go back to your sushi fest now," I said, unnable to stop the joke from being spoken. "I wouldn't want to interupt your feeding patterns now, would I?" I said, and instantly regretted it. I hadn't really wanted to say something that might upset her, but I was unnable to stop myself from making the joke. Of course, now it was a bit late, as I paled, remembering what had happened last time...

I growled slightly, my entire body flushing red for a moment, before I dove into the water, regaining my normal coloring as blood stained the waters. But this time I fed entierly underwater, not willing to surface again. i was rather steamed now, but the water kept me under control enough not to turn red again. My colorings were immediate reminders of my emotions...

I rested my heads in my hands, self-hatred washing over me. Why did I always mess this sort of thing up? I really hadn't meant to insult her, the idea came, and was gone before I could stop myself. I groaned, trying to think of how I could fix it. I suppose there was nothing to do other than tell her that I hadn't meant to upset her, and apologize. Still, I should be thankful that she hadn't attacked me at least. I finally decided that it could wait until she was finished. After all, I didn't want to add interupting her meal again to the list of offenses. I leaned back, glansing up at the gray sky, thinking of how I could begin to apologize, though my mind began wandering, and I wasn't even thinking any more.

Once I had finished eating, I noticed that Rauru wasn't paying that much attenton. This would be his downfall. I swam over to the shore, being totally silent, and with one hand, picked up the stick and poked him lightly in the ankle, which was closest to the water. I watched in satasfaction as the change occured, before hauling myself and the stick under the water, though I did not come up. I was close enough so I could watch without being seen.

I sat up after a moment, thinking I heard somehting. I looked around, but I couldn't see anyone other than the snoozing imp, so I shook my head. "I'm starting to lose it." I muttered, not noticing the change in voice, as I stood up and got out an empty hip flask. I began walking towards the shore absently, thinking that I could use with a fresh drink of water, even after all this time, the waters of lake Hylia were pure, and so it would be a good idea to fill up my spare flask with lake water while I had the chance...

I shifted so i was a good deal father underwater, still carrying the stick, though I knew I was going to get chewed out once he saw what happened. I had to find a way to avoid that.. I glanced at the stick, and an idea I would probably regret ever having came to mind, though I waited to see what would happen...
