"All right," I said, though I had turned to face Ansem, and was replying to him, and not the king. Jhon found himself target to one of his own guards, who had just been flung head over heels toward him as a distraction, as I bolted. "Follow me, I know a shortcut!" I said, rushing past the two, and picking up Askan over my shoulders, since I had the suspicion that he might not try to go with us if left to his own devices. If I remembered the maps correctly, there was a channel that went out near the koriki forest, but not in it, and would carry us all the way to the castle, if we wanted to go that far...

The gaurd turned the throw into a hand spring. John, meanwhile, sidestepped it easily. Teh gaurd popped back up effortlessly on his feet in a aready combat stance. "I told you they were prepared." I groaned. "John trains them himself, in a mixture of Taichi and Ninjitsu. Just because he's been accused of usurping doesn't mean he's lazy. Let's get out of here!" I said, running quickly towards where I knew the front door of the Domain was.

I followed Rauru for now, though he would be finding my blade at his neck as soon as we stopped long enough. My blood felt like it was on fire now, but I still managed to act normal. At least, I thought I was acting normal, they might have noticed something diffrent.

"If I hadn't left the... King, he would probably annex the domain for this little incident." I remakred, but I kept up with the others. My plan had failed, and now I was going to have to do some very serious explanation once we were outside. I wasn't sure if they'd believe me or not, after all, I always held myself back in a fight to keep it a secret. But either way, I was going to have to tell the truth now...

"Yeah, right." I scoffed. " In case you forgot, interaction between teh Zora kingdom and teh Hylian one stopped a long time ago. John's warriors are elites. They won't lose to the Hylian army. I said. It may have been John's army, but I was proud of my race. "Besides, John's Domain is his dominion. The Hylian King couldn't do anything without causing a severe interracial dispute." Finally reaching the door, I skid to the halt, seeing three of his elites guarding it. "Guess we'll have to fight after all. We take them in a series of one on one?" I asked, raising my fins.

"Certainly." I said, though I was already flying through the air in a leap at the one on the right, my sword unsheathed. I was about to hit this guy like the proverbial ton of bricks... but I was suprised that he dodged. Apparently these guys had skills that were somewhat comperable with a weapon. I whirled around, depositing Askan easily on the ground as my sword spun around. I was trained in a more archaic style among the weapons, which involved ceaseless moving, and more acrobatics than blocking, which is why I was not armed with a shield.

"Lets get this over with quickly. All of us are weakened as it is." I said, preparing to take down the center guard. All it would take was the tiniest of cuts, and he'd die withen moments. The trick, unfortunatly, would be getting that nick in without him blocking. But if I had gotten through the croc, this would be simple.

I looked at my target guard nervously. I was stronger than him. ther was no question about that. But he had been trained to be the best. And I had zero training my entire life. But I had no choice. Unless I wanted to end up dead or serving that month's jail taim, I had to get through this guy." Sorry mom." I muttered. "Guess I won't be coming home tonight."

I was already busy trying to take down my target, though he seemed to enjoy taunting me by just staying out of my reach. Suddenly, he flipped over me bringing a harsh blow to the back of my neck, it was a miracle he hadn't snapped my neck. I managed to whirl around, and I gave a slight satisfied smile as I saw a bit of red on him. Either way, it would take a bit before the rabies virus multiplied enough to finish the job. But it didn't even come close to the shock in me when in a blur of motion, he had slashed me, dragged a hand along the green tint of my fins to take some of the posion off it, and press it aginst my wound. A few seconds later, he collapsed, with me seconds behind him.

I lunged at my opponent, but he jumped out of sight. Before I had time to react,I felt him slam his full weight on my back, knocking me down, I cried out as I felt his blade slash into my back, and I shook him off and rolled away. I coudl feel a moisture on my back, and I coudl tell it wasn't water...

"Hold on!" I shouted, wearing down the guard's oposition to my attacks. My style was archaic, extremely effective against other sword users, but there was little else it was good for.Soon, I spotted a textbook error. He blocked his right flank like he would if he were fighting a typical bladeuser, and not one using the third blade form. I turned back, instead of slashing, stabbing, like I would with a knife. Albeit a very large, and long knife. The guard looked down, and took advantage of the blade caught in his ribs to yank himself back, and slash at me with his own weapon, now that I was disarmed. I barely had time to duck, and I felt warmth on my scalp as the guard fell over, dead. Immidiately, I rushed over to Tiamat, having seen what happened, and knowing what was next. "No..." I said, barely above a whisper, my throat almost silenced with fear, as I picked her up gently. I didn't know what I could do to save her, but I had to get her out of here to try...

I was out of it entierly, though there was no foam, nothing. However, my skin started turning a grayish color, the unmistakable sign of a sick zora. I had a lot more toxin in my body then what I had gotten into the guard, and it was shredding me into peices...

I was almost completely immobolized with pain. Sensing my weakness, my gaurd charged me. I saw Tiamat out cold nearby, and a sudden anger made the pain fade. I grabbed him by the ankle, catching by surprise, adn with a twirl I slammed him into the ground. My mind gone in a haze, I swung my arm in a mighty arc,a nd the head rolled across the floor, trailing a path of blood and gore behind it. I sat there stunned, realizing what I had done. As the heat faded out of me, I noticed the pool of blood beneath me wasn't just the guard's and I sank to my knees as I felt weakness take over.

I noticed Ansem, and immidiately began searching the corpses of the guards. "It's unlikely that people trained to this level wouldn't have any red potion on them." I said, despoerate. It might delay the sickness in tiamat, but I couldn't be sure oif it would stop it or not. To tell the truth, I was't even thinking about ansem, though I'd certainly give him a bottle if there was any extra. The cut on my head was superficial, though the blood began to drain into my eyes and cloud my vision.

I reached dully behind me and felt the gash on my back. Definitely fatal. I sw Rauru shuffling through the bodies. Probably for potions. THe chances of the carrying some were little though. The elites were always pretty confident they wouldn't get hurt. I was starting to lose interest as my mind grew fuzzy, my vision blurred. I slowed my breathing to try to hold onto life a little longer.

I had gone over two of the bodies, not fingding anything, and then on the last one, who seemed younger, perhaps newer to the ranks than the others, I found a bottle filled with a familiar, red cloudy liquid. I looked over. I knew the slash on ansem's back was fatal, but for some reason, tiamat looked like she could hold on, the poison didn't seem to be affecting her like it had the crocodile, though she definitely looked like she was on death's door. My training took over at that point, overiding my feelings. I walked over to ansem, and instead of making him drink, I applied to potion directly to the gash, as while it would burn worse that stepping through a wildfire, it would heal him faster. I barely noticed as a few drops of my own blood, the same color dripped form my chin as I quickly poured the potion along his back in the pattern of the gash, the thickness of it keeping it from rolling off.

I gritted my teeth, the pain of the potion snapping my sense back. "AGh!" I shouted, jupming up, even as teh gash healed over. "That stuff burns!" I whined, holding my back. I then saw Tiamat nearby. I ran over to her and quickly applied my hand to her wrist, feeling her pulse. "I think she's gonna be okay." i said slowly. " It is her poison afterall. She would have to have an immunity to it to carry it in her body."

"Maybe, but it'd still weaken her at the very least, I'm not taking any chances." I said, easily picking up Tiamat, and moving for the gate. "There are still a few problems, and I owe you an explanation. But now is not the time, as soon as we're out of the domain's legal land, we'll be safe. I can tell you everything there." I said, walking through the gate that led to the waterfall.

I snagged up Askan, left at the door and followed Rauru through. "So now what? I said. "You said the next dungeon was in teh domain, and we were just forced to flee it. How do we get there if we have to go through that again? We're not prepared enough."

by this point, my skin tone was becoming closer and closer to absoloute gray. My breathing was rapid and shallow, though even despite me showing most of the signs of my own toxin, there was no foam that directly signified rabies. I wasn't moving, and anything they said was lost to me.
