"Unless I find out one of you has ties to winged beings. Then you'll pay", Malaos said.

Itoko went wided eyes at his words. She was still feeling uneasy about this, and this was the statement that told her that she couldnt stick around for long. All humans nowadays were a threat to her, whether they deny it or not. But for now, Itoko just wanted to stay there. She might as well enjoy it~!

((OOC - I'm just saying that this post ish dedicated to Eli! <3))

IC -

"Unless I find out one of you has ties to winged beings. Then you'll pay." Malaos said, leaning against the tree, staring at them.
Rika blanched slightly, her mother used to be a winged being supporter, her best friend being one. However, when her mother was killed by extremists, Rika wasn't sure how to respond to them. So she remained neutral.

Rika tried to shrug offhandly, "Whatever you say." she said, rolling her brillant gray eyes.

Malaos stood akwardly for a few moments before deciding hesitantly, "Well... Errr... I guess I'll get going. I need to keep moving so I can find a winged being again some day."
He slowly took a bow, watching each of them warily. Something bugged him about these two. They were weird. Different. Where could they be from?

Itoko kindly bowed back, and smiled nervously at Malaos.
"Very well..." she said. "Good luck...but please, try to rethink your decision on Winged Beings. Not all of them are bad~!"

OCC-- Gomen for the short posty. ;;

~Karli

OOC~ No prob about short post. I'm having a hard time figuring out what else to type as well -.-'

Malaos only shot her a hot scowl before turning and heading away from them again. He thumped away, crumpling over fallen leaves on the ground.

"Bye!" Rika shouted after the fading shadow of the traveler.

Now she was left in this forest with two other girls... What now?

((OOC - *post dedicated to Eli* What now? xD And sorry for the short post as well... ;-; ))

"Aye, sir, and what I get for ya?" the tender questioned the new potential customer, idly scratching his shiny bald head, and giving a yellow grin.

"Err..." Malaos grimaced at the shady looking tender, "I don't think so... I'd just like to ask a few questions."

The tender frowned and looked him up and down, "What's your business?"

"I hunt winged beings."

Snorting a laugh, the tender waved his hand, signaling for Malaos to leave. Promptly standing and heading over to a table furthest from the tender, he plopped into the chair, disappointed yet again. He pushed his chin into his plam, propping it up as he glanced around in a depressed, yet thoughtful sort of way.

He sighed, speaking softly to himself, for whatever little encouragement he could gain, "Someday... someday you'll see another one, Malaos, and you'll get it."

A small smile crept over the loner's face, "Yeah, then everyone will cheer..."

He remained at the table alone, pondering to himself a bit more, glancing every so often at the numerous locals. This was not a traveller's bar. It was unfriendly and filled with the same looking people.

OCC-- So, I take it this is about a month later~? =3

IC-- Itoko entered a village, and hood draped over her head making it difficult for the villagers to see her face. Children ran around chasing the chickens, and the adults were working busily. Voices filled the crowded streets. Everything was so peaceful.

Itoko studied the children carefully; she wished she could have done the same thing. Running around with siblings or friends, chasing the chickens. But that would never happen. She could never make a friend, nor could she ever have a family. But after thinking the matter over carefully, non of that matter anymore. Having someone close to her would only make it harder for her to say good bye. She didnt want to put herself, or anyone for that matter, in any more pain.

OOC: Really? o.o; *post dedicated to Eli* <3

IC:
Rika was in the fields, practicing her kendo.

"Ichi." she swung her katana horizantally.

Her thoughts flew back to a month ago, where she first met Itoko and Malaos. They were such interesting people... they didn't care about her looks, or her beauty. A sharp pain bought her back from her thoughts, and into reality.

"Shoot..." Rika murmered as she saw the fresh red drops of blood materializing on her index finger. "Why did I daze off?" A swordsperson was never, ever, supposed to let his or her thoughts wander.

Rika tucked in her katana, and set off for the nearby village, she was pretty dehydrated from all the training. 'Failed' training, one may say, she thought bitterly.

As she walked through the bustling streets, she spotted a familar figure, hiding behind a cloak.

"Itoko?" Rika almost whispered, thinking that it was just her mind playing tricks on her. As she neared the girl, she confirmed the fact that it *was* Itoko.

"Itoko!" she shouted happily, waving to the girl.

Itoko turned around, and saw a familiar figure running towards her.
"Itoko!" the girl called, waving. It took her a few moments to remember who the girl was, and what was going on. Although, eventually she remembered her from the forest. Her name was Rika if she remembered correctly.

Itoko smiled brightly, and took off the hood. She then waved back happily.
"Hello~! Long time no see, Rika-chan!"

"Hello~! Long time no see, Rika-chan!" Itoko waved back happily.

Rika smiled at her cheerful disposition, and went over to greet her. "It has been a while, ne?" she commented. "So, how are you doing recently?" she asked her.

"Yes...its been a while...", Itoko said, looking down at her feet. "I've been...okay, I guess. I travel solo so I get quite lonely at times, but other than that I'm doing okay".
Itoko wore a fake smile now. "How about you?"

"Yes...its been a while...", Itoko said, looking down at her feet. "I've been...okay, I guess. I travel solo so I get quite lonely at times, but other than that I'm doing okay".

"How about you?" she asked in return, smiling.

At this, Rika sighed and said, "Not too well, after we seperated..." she trailed off, thinking about her failed attempts at training.

"Say," Rika said suddenly. "Would you like to go to the local bar, to... chat and get to know each other better?" she offered.

Itoko considered the offer carefully. She had never been to a bar before; it could be a good experience.
"Okay!" Itoko finally said, clapping her hands together and jumping up and down. "Sounds like fun~! Lets go before it gets to busy!"
With that Itoko grabbed Rika-chan's arm and ran down the busy streets and towards to local bar.

Grumbling to himself, Malaos glanced around the room a final time from his empty table. His stomach grumbled a moment later, responding to his unhappiness. Sure, he had the money for some ale and a meal, but his strict code prevented him from buying food from towns except on very rare occasions. He knew how to hunt, and that's how he had always gotten food. A deep sigh sounded from his mouth, as the bodily sound combo-finisher. If something interesting didn't happen soon, he would definitely have to leave. He was too hungry and anxious to find a winged being to stay sitting in a tavern.

Rika smiled happily as Itoko dragged her to the nearby pub, she almost never had people who she could consider 'friends' in her life time.

As they neared the pub, Rika stumbled over the mall step, crashing into the door. Inside of a pub, a very familiar figure sat at a lone table. Rika nudged Itoko and whispered, "Is that who I think it is?" she asked, pointing to him.

Itoko looked around curiously for a few minutes, scanning the pub carefully smiling with delight. Finally she saw who Rika was reffering to.
"My oh my, if it isnt Malaos~!" Itoko said, turning her head to Rika. "Should we go talk to him, Rika-chan? He looks lonely, and I'm sure he would enjoy our company once again".

Itoko waved at Malaos happily, and then clapped her hands together with excitement.
"Its so wonderful to see you again~! How've ya been? I hope you've been good! What have you been up too? Whatcha doin'?"
Itoko had so many questions to ask her old friends, and she couldnt hold in her excitement anymore.
