The Legend of Zelda Fan Club V 2.0

i HAVE to join this :O

i have every Zelda game (including the Phillips CDI ones, which suck....)

Then I, JBCBlank will allow this. I would say your name above, but.. this april fools thing... is getting ad to see who is who.

Ah, Welcome to the club, DARKSHADE. :3

Hey, I got my Nintendo Newsletter yesterday, and they were talking about Zelda: Spirit Tracks. So it's officially official now in the entire world. XD

Yesterday I was on GameFaqs and all the Spirit Tracks haters were hoping that the game was an April Fools joke. Seriously, the game isn't going to be Godawful just because there's a little train in it, jeez.

You would be surprised gun saber if you saw the the opinion for WW. I found some archives and wow that was some hate. And yeah i dont get it i love the train!

Why do they do that every April Fools, if they are going to make a Legend of Zelda movie, they had better be willing to pay big bucks because if they don't then.... it will go Dragon Ball Evolution!. Kill that movie!!! it sucks! The man who made the DBZ manga must be throwing up because of it!

Actually JB they were in the works with it since 08 or 07 if i remember correctly so thats true. If the make link blond at least and add a nice story then yay but if they do something gay like not even relevant im going to throw up. Dont kill my other half of childohood you bastards!

Not real. I don't have much more to say besides that XD
No doubt. As awesome as Zelda is, I'm not so sure it would translate well into a movie. Based on the manga however, an anime would work great. America would, sadly, try to hard to make non-gamers/non-Zelda fans go to it by including unZelda like things..see DragonBall Evolution for a great example (though not a bad movie, it doesn't follow its namesake well).

It's just that there's a freakin' train in the game now. How does this relate to all the other Zelda games?

Other than that, I have no reason to not play the game.

Not necessarily. Depends who would be doing it, if they're a fan of the series, etc. There are book and comic book movies that are pretty good adaptation. Not 100% faithful to the source material, but enough as to not bug fans and different enough that they translate well on the screen.

If you go in with the intention of making a B movie for a quick buck, then that's what you'll get.

The probably with a Zelda movie is...lack of a story. I know we all like Ganon, Zelda, and the Triforce. But...that's really all bookends. Does anything really happen during the quest? No. And watching Link push blocks around would be boring. The manga has tried to address this and...the result is somewhat cheesy dialogue and interactions. While entertaining in manga (and possibly anime) it wouldn't work in the kind of Zelda film I want to see.

I thought the manga did a pretty good job trying to add in a story line. A Zelda movie would be neat. I really think if someone truly wanted to make a film, they would. Think of how many things happened in Ocarina of Time? That would make a perfect movie. We have both Child and Adult Link, both with separate adventures that tie into the storyline.

Also: Finally updated the member's list. Tell me if I missed your name.

Those little things during the journey are difficult to expand into something that isn't linear. Not saying it's impossible though

Well, yeah... but if its just a movie on Ocarina of Timr, then I think it completely possible. The manga does a good job of putting it in order. We needs a Zelda anime now.

Now that i've had time to sit back, Play Sonic Adventure 2, Oggle over Shadow for a while and write more on the dumb script a friend and I are working on, I have come to the conclusion that a train would not be so bad.

You know it shows some advancement in the field of technology. And besides, in Wind Waker, there was nothing but ocean!

I don't know about you guys, but I prefer land. even if there is a train there.

Still no word of a Zelda Wii? I've been a bit busy lately and haven't managed to keep up to date.

A few days ago, I read something about an OOT remake. Was it just an April fools?

Yes it was and thank god I do not want it ruined. And why the still. We only have 2-3 weeks since SP. Are you a train hater or something?! Cause I got a bunch of ropes and a railway system next to my house. :D
But lol reggie did mention that this year E3 will be big and for the core. I would think mentioning the words big core and mario and zelda coming soon could be a bit too mean if all of those dont come in one package.

Keep in mind that it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for Reggie to say "Don't expect much". XD And he's also the one who basically said "Why are the cores complaining? We gave them Animal Crossing" last year.
