Have we decided what Tift will look yet?
He should definitely have a tuft of hair, but I'm not sure what size or colour?
 
I'll give Tift a try tomorrow. I have to go to a basketball game in 15 minutes, and then I most likely have to go to bed after (Well not really, just don't feel like working on it today. xD) I have school tomorrow so...yeah...(P.S. I'll work on a name for my guy tonight)

I think He should be a white mouse! maybe the length sitting (standing?) as Link's neck, or a normal neck.

Oh and names. i forgot about names. I dont really want Izy as the name for my chara. Maybe Meika, the name of one of my story characters :D
 
yeahh, white is a good colour! It makes him seem more 'spiritual'. We wouldn't want him to be too normal would we? ;D
I think he should be about 5 or 6 inches tall?

Yeah! That seems perfect for him! But that isn't abnormal enough...maybe he should wear a little feathered hat on a slant to the side, so you can still see his tuft, lol

yeah, a hat is cool. We should make sure we don't humanize him too much though... v_v

If his fur is white, what colour should his tuft be? Black will contrast too much, Brown is too normal, and Blonde won't contrast enough ".
 
Uh. Grey...I'll try to draw him tomorrow. A hat would be too much for me to do. xD So I'll just draw him hatless. As for my character...his name shall be: Kasugi. xD He's the main character of my Naruto fan-fic. xD

How bout bright brown with a white tummay. xD

No offense to emo's, but I think emo's are stupid. xD Sorry, but it's true. Yeah it will kind of make the game more of a joke if we do. I mean we might have a chance of actually making this come true. xD (Not really, but keep dreaming)

haha, true. so let's scrap the Emo idea, I think it was a joke anyway.
I think the mouse should definitely be at least partially white, like I said before, it gives a more -for lack of a better word-, spiritual persona.
 
Lets not do an emo mouse, please...I think it should have a hat though, that would be funny! Maybe it used to be a human and got transformed by magic or something?

yeah, kinda like Ezlo from The Minish Cap. And no prizes for guessing that Ganondorf is at the bottom of this transformation. This will be probably be revealed by Tift later in the game. But we need to think of how Tift will aid Link, or will he just be an advisor, like Navi and Ciela?
 
OOH! Maybe you could play as Tift for short periods, like to sqeeze though cracks/holes to allow link to progress, that would be awesome! :D
 
ahh, that would be pretty suitable, seeing as that's what mice do best.
However, I think it would get a bit tedious if that was the only thing he was useful for throughout the whole game, so he should perhaps be used for something else too?
 
Well, he'd have to be an advisor, also he could have his own little temple! He could attack with his tail like a whip! :) But I can't think of what else he could do...Navi/Ceila didn't do much at all really...

Actually, maybe the temple thing is going a bit far...:(
 
lol, he could have a an teensy mini temple perhaps? maybe we're going into the sidekick thing too much, like you said, Navi and Ciela didn't do that much anyway! but a mouse is just too cool to pass up! >.<
