-You enter the majestic volcano through the western gate.
There are tree jars to your left and three to your right. Smash them collect a few hearts and rupees. If you look to the south, you see a blue switch. You cannot hit it at this moment, just wait a bit. To the north there's a flame wall. From what you can see, there's a little chest on the rocks…
Cross the bridge (watch out for two Red Bubbles) and enter to the open door.
-This is the main room of the volcano. Lava is everywhere, don't fall in it, or you'll get hurt.
Follow the rocky path and enter the door. You'll end up in a room with flame walls.
Beat the 2 lavaslugs and fire Keese and head for the opening. Watch out for the spikes and find your way through the maze, slaying the slugs and keeses on your way.
Before going down stairs, smash the jars if you need hearts. Go down the stairs and you'll end up in a small room. Beat the enemies and move on to the next room.
-call forth your little pal, Tift and let him cross the maze. If he reaches land, transport and open the chests to find the Dungeon Map and a small key.
With a little help of Tift, move to the exit. Beat or ignore the enemies and blow up the wall to reveal the stairs.
- this temple is crowded with keese and slugs, but this time there are also two Lizalfos waiting for you.
Beat them and get the compass. Open the door with the small key.
Follow the ledge until you see a ladder. Go down and be welcomed to the basement.
Cross the bridge and watch out for the Red Bubbles. On the first ledge you gotta beat a Dodongo. Hit it's tail and watch out for it's flames.
At the end of the second bridge beast the second Dodongo. Turn left and cross the bridge. [annoying Red Bubble aware]. Ignore the strange rock on the right and turn left. Blow up the rocks blocking your path and beat the third Dodongo and see a small chest appear with a small key in it.
Go back to where you met the second dodongo and open the door.
Cutscene time~
Carefully Link enters the room, on his shoulder, Tift sniffs. Lava streams down from the ceiling into the floor, three strange bakens of fire are planted right before him. Suddenly they turn blue, red and green. Three FlareDancers appear, each in the same colour of the flames the emerged from.
The blue one goes standing on your right, the green one on your left and the red one in front of you.
Red: "Who are you, mortal human to enter the realm of we, the guardians of the Hero's Weapon?"
Blue: "We have been guarding the Hero's weapon for ages. No one has ever entered our realm.."
Green: "We cannot let you pass!"
The tree split…
End Cutscene~
You have to battle the three like you battle normal FlareDancers. If you run out of bombs, smash the jars against the walls. Once the battle is over, a new cutscene will begin.
Cutscene~
Red: "You have shown tremendous skill, young swordsman…"
Blue: "Maybe you are worthy of possessing the Hero's Weapon"
Green: "Please Proceed and may the hero's spirit with you~"
The door on the other side of the room opens.
End cutscene.
Pass through the door and open the chest. You will receive the Hero's Bow and 30 arrows.
Go back and pass through the room of the FlareDancers. Go back to the main room and cross the bridge on your right. Step on the strange rock I mentioned earlier and be taken to the first floor.
Beat the Dodongo's and blow up the wall. You'll be back in the room you entered the dungeon through, only a floor higher. Now you have your bow, shoot the switch. The flame wall will douse. Jump down on the ledge beneath you where a minute ago the flames burnt and jump to the small chest. Open it to get the small key inside. If time runs out, shoot the switch again.. Open the locked door in this room with your new key.
You are now back in the main room. You'll see a patch of soft soil on your feet. Once you get the Hookshot and seeds, you can get the Heart Piece circling on top of the high rock in front of you.
At the end of the rock ledge, go through the door and get ready to use your mousy pal again.
Follow the maze, you'll end up at a small chest containing 20 rupees. But you see the rock on your left? Blow it up. A switch will appear. Step on it and a ladder will appear on the west wall of this room.
With help of Tift, climb the ladder and you'll find your self on the first floor.
You will have to battle two Dinolfos and two Dodongo's. Beat them and the door will open.
In the next room you'll find the boss key.
Go back all the way to the maze room. If you jump of the ladder look to the wall opposite of you. There are strange inscriptions: 3 times 3 circles. Each time one circle is filled. It comes down to this: 2nd – 1st – 3rd. Go through the door. Flames on the ledges prevent your from going over. If you look to the east, you'll see 3 switches. Hit them with your bow, like the inscriptions said in the previous room.
Once you are on the other side, blow up the wall. Find your way across the maze, smashing jars and collection your last needs for the final battle.
Jump down the hole at the end of the room. Open the door with the boss key.
After a short cutscene where the Two-Headed Dragon wakes up, you get to battle him. Use your arrows to shoot the stones on his heads. Ones both of his heads are down, the flames surrounding his body will douse and you can smash the ruby on his body. Do so several times until he falls down.
Each time it'll be harder to hit the stones on his head. The Dragon spits fire and sends our blazing walls.
After the battle you'll gain the Ruby of Fire.
