Yay! I finally made a new post... :X I was putting off the RP a little (bad me...) but I come back and we are this far with new posts already... Welcome back JBC... If I didn't say that already. Hahaha...

Nintendo said that they were going to make quite a number of changes to the series. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I mean, new ideas and such are great, but I hope they don't revolutionize (sp?) the whole thing, the old Zelda formula works great in my opinion.

What I do want is voice acting =) (for everyone except Link of course)

Knowing Nintendo though, by 'change' they mean make really easy and accesible to non gamers.

The trouble hardore nintendo gamers such as myself now have is that the success of the family console (Wii) will determine future game releases and also consoles.

This could mean that we may see nintendo completely turning around and becoming a family orientated games company.

This would really upset me, because classic games just wouldn't be the same anymore.. And the possibility of an ocarina of time remake or a game to rival it would be slim..
 
Family orientated zelda?! Hell no they take the 12+ rating twilight princess got in pal version and bring it down to 3+ i swear im going to get pissed. Seriously what the hell are they going to do make it collect the 8 music notes of colorfulness bullcrap and you defeat orcs and moblins with rainbow colors and singing?! I would consider that pretty hilarious but in all seriousness just no.

I did not mean a family orientated zelda, i meant nintendo might become a family orientated company making more games for the whole family instead of focusing upon games like zelda for hardcore gamers :] :]
 
That happens they would be closing areas such as zelda metroid mario and pokemon. Ok fine the last are a bit of a stretch but how the hell can a 5 year old be capable enough to beat a game like galaxy.
 
-First person. You know its going to happen someday.
-The whole motion+ thing being fully used. Walk around with link with full controlable arms? Im in if it means i can wave my arm at moblins like im giving them the finger.And make your own sword movements. Oh god that is going to be great if added.
-Wifi co-op. Or wi-fi sword duels. If motion+ added then i would say yes.
-Sequels. Ok i know majora mask was a sequel of some worts but i mean something following up to twilight princess. Like midna pops out of nowhere injured saying the dark wizard vatii invaded my realm. Actually that would be cool if happened.
-More items. And dual hookshot with motion+. Spider link spider link does whatever a spider can...
-More cool badies. i loved the damn knights who only got killed with removing the armor. And they sped up crazy fast makng them impossible for me. But i loved them.
- More finishing moves. I would love one that involves slashing and they almost splitting into half with a nice big explosion. That could bring the rating to 16+ and iwouldnt mind.

Thats all i can think of right now.
 
Haha awesome spider link sounds pretty cool when i think about it, and i am definatly all for a complete 360 axis for sword movement thats what i hoped would be in twilight princess..

I definatly want the return of an ocarina

I want the game to bring back a certain thing such as the wind waker, ocarina of time, rod of season or something like that, an item which really makes the game what it is.

I want improved graphics.. We can see what the gamecube can do but lets see what the wii can do!!

The Goron and Zora tunics.. Bring them back!!

More dungeons on the elemental side, fire, water, forest like ocarina of time, tougher dungeons too longer and tougher.. More floors!!

Bosses, make them tougher too, make it realistic make bosses seriously hard..

I want heart containers to go back to the basic four to one piece i dont like the idea of collecting like 5 or 6 or whatever it was..

I want a theme to the next zelda game like traveling through time, or changing the seasons or something but not something too much like changing into a wolf..

I want a game to rival ocarina of time, i want to be on the wii playing this next game solid for at least 100 hours..

Speaking of a sequel to TP and change of seasons or something, makes me think about what they did in ALLTP, where you had to change between the Light World and the Dark world in order to be able to finish a dungeon. It would be cool to change between the Light Realm and the Twilight Realm. Annoying, but cool. XD
Midna could have been kidnapped or something, and Link heard of it... and he wants to save her, for she was one of his best friends. Zelda's changed into a fairy or another creature. xD Let's turn things around, now it's another princess who needs saving. (Oh, this could be done to the extreme [/crack-game for sure])

-The graphics on super smash brows brawl level anyone?
-I need and i mean need the next zelda game to be some kind of 3D seasons and ages double disc double game. To top ocorina of cource hoho.
-Ganon is no more and vaati returns in 3D.
 
Ugh. No sequel to Twilight Princess please. A new game in general. It made sense to make Majora's Mask the sequel to Ocarina. Link went back to look for Navi. Twilight Princess Link doesn't have anything to really look for. Midna went back to normal blah blah blah.

I thought changing into a wolf was pretty cool. =/ Going back to a light/dark world would get old IMO. We've seen it done. Let's do something new. Same with the seasons changing. The Oracle games claimed that one. I like sticking to regular old explore Hyrule blah blah blah blah.

I still would like Ganon to come back. Vaati is Four Swords boss/Minish Cap. Both of those games are continuations. They are different Links too. It wouldn't make much sense. =/

This is all MY opinion of course.

A double disc game sounds fantastic but as long as its two seperate games, that would be awesome :] :]

I think the same too, i would love to see a new original idea such as things like the wind fish (koholint island), changing the seasons, going through time, these things are what make zelda games, simple original awesome ideas.

The return of the goron and zora tunics, and the mirror shield :] :]
 
I'm still playing TP. XD It's so fun!!!!!!

I officially hate all of the Themes that are PC has. I do I really do.

XD I'm gonna go and see the RP now.

I'm in favour of a reboot of the franchise. Keep the key elements and just start over from scratch without the ties of previous games weighing it down. Batman Begins and Casino Royale are great examples of movies that did a reboot correctly. But for games.... Prince of Persia has seen a reboot twice now and both times to great critical success.

Keep, Link, dungeons, Hyrule, the Triforce, etc. But break off of the old ties, start over, mature the series, and do something fresh.
 
Have link make moblins beg for mercy before a beheading is in my book aswell as a love thing between zelda and link
