and this Moltres is too

. Unsure about the rest of the genders.

Yeah I think that most of the girl colours like light blue, pink and red are legendary.

That looks really kewl. They all look really pretty when you compare them to other pokemon.

This I have a picture of Mew take a look
[PokeCommunity.com] The Legendary Fan Club

I already post this at my club but I want it to be share for you

All are accepted. All right, so the first topic will be about the legendaries' genders. Obviously, Latios and Latias have genders, but most are asexual. Or, so we are lead to believe.

Personally, I think that Mew, Jirachi, Celibi, Suicune, Articuno, and Moltres are all female.
Suicune seems more manly too me, and it's kinda hard to tell what gender the legends are, because they are one of a kind and there isn't a Pokémon of the same species and different gender to compare with.

However, we can assume that there are several Celebi, at least according to the Pokédex.
Pokémon Silver Pokédex said:
When Celebi dissapears deep in a forest, it is said to leave behind an egg it brought from the future.
Of course it could be Celebi's own egg it brought from the future when it hatched, but then it would hatch in the past and wouldn't be able to take the egg from the future to the past, because the egg would already be in the past, but if Celebi would hatch in the past, the egg would never have got there in the first place, because no one would have brought it there, which means there has to be more than one Celebi, meaning you can't say ''Celebi is female'' or something like that.

I'll stop now, I'm just confuzzling myself here O.o

Okay, first thing's first here... Please stop filling your posts with pictures. If you have a picture that is pertinant to the current topic, then feel free, but if you're just filling the thread with images that take forever to load, please refrain... *smiles* Thank you in advance!!

To SmartiesKun, thank you for pointing that out. *laughs* I'd forgotten about the multiple Celebi thing. *feels slightly foolish*

I maintain that Mew is female, however, Golden Mew. The shiney blue Mew in the game has nothing to do with it. There is only ONE Mew. She is legendary and one-of-a-kind. The shiney in the game (if there is one, I certainly haven't come across it myself...) is just a promo for the game and the game alone.

Though, considering Mewtwo is obviously male... (the deep mindvoice), it's hard for my "Mew is female" vote to hold much water. Unless, of course, Mew's DNA didn't have an effect on Mewtwo's gender...

*laughs* Let's go with that!

Talk about the topic currently going on. Pay attention. I don't want this club to become and area for free posts. I started this club for a genuine love of Legendary Pokemon, the mystery surrounding them, the majesty and poise they possess.

Topics will change frequently. When one becomes overdone, feel free to start a new one. There is pleantly to talk about and keep us busy.

And you can post pictures. Just do it sparingly and make sure that the picture in question is pertinant to the topic.

NO TEMPORAL PARADOX FOR YOU!!! :P The 29th Century will kick your behind from here to the Delta Quadrant.

Well, Mewtwo was obviously altered, and considering Giovanni's personality, he could well have wanted to make Mewtwo a male artificially for a sense of power or some such. That being said, I have to disagree on Suicun and Articuno, milove. Both seem more masculine, not necessarily in appearance, but in their actions and movements.

I might give you Articuno, but Suicune will always be feminine!! *breaks out petitions and '70s style signs* Don't make me protest!!

*laughs* But in all honesty, he/she is so graceful and balanced. Out of the three, she/he has always seemed so much more delicate and... almsot... motherly to me. I dunno, maybe I over analyze.

I shall maintain my position. *firm pout*

In that case as I said before all the legendaries that I think are female are all the girl colours like pink and stuff like this:
Latias=red=female

maybe everyone should do something like this then.

altarialover :t334:

Mewtwo - male
Mew - female
Zapdos - male
Articuno - female
Moltres - female
Celebii - male
Suicine - male
Raikou - male
Entei - male
Lugia - female
Ho - Ho - male

The first 2 generation gender groups.
Anyone else think different?

I think that Suicune is debatable, depending on which source you're looking at. In the anime, I get a very male feeling, for example. Same with Lugia, though perhaps that's P2k interfering. I always thought of Articuno as male, though, and Raikou as female.

Well, I suppose we could use a topic change, then, hmm? Let's go wtih... *laughs* Okay, this is a HUGE topic, but I think we can handle it. Let's talk about the mysteries surrounding our legendaries!!

Mew is probably one of my favorites. Where did she come from?

I think she was a genetically altared virus in a computer that team rocket tried to do but escaped XD.
I have a good imagination.

Mew was one of the first, if not the first Pokemon, in my pinion. I believe possibly a mythical/religious figure deeply involved in the creation stories of the Pokemon world.

Hmm new topic let me see well maybe mew came from the growth of a forest and was somehow magically generated and discovered by team rocket ^^; sorry but I'm not good at explaining these kind of things :'(

I agree with Jake. I think Mew played a huge role in creating the Pokemon world. After all, she is hailed above most Pokemon. She has power over EVERY attack, and thus, it would make a lot of sense that she was one of, if not the, first Pokemon.
