Backstory: Born to Francine and Cody Tamarack, Harley-Rei was raised to succeed where her parents failed. That being, to be known in the world as a respected Pokemon Researcher. Needless to say that the girl was introduced early on to the specifics of Pokemon. With countless books fueling her until she reached the proper age of 10, it was clear that Harley did indeed have potential.


However with such harsh, constant study routines, Harley missed out on a more social life, and therefore got a late start in Pokemon Training. It wasn't until her 12th Birthday that her parents gifted her a Pokemon Egg of her own, but with the agreement that Harley would not begin an adventure until it had hatched, and was well raised. To Harley's dismay the Egg was persistent, and didn't hatch until more than a full year following.


Then it was almost another full year of raising the baby Pokemon, Pichu, that Cody allowed Harley to go see Prof. Elm to officially become a Pokemon Trainer. It was from him that she received her PokeDex, and was sent off. For almost three years Harley explored the Johto Region, and became even more diverse with the Pokemon therein. When Prof. Elm one day called her back with a passport to the far off Sevii Archipelago. Not willing to pass up the freedom of exploring the world, she happily agreed.

Occupation: Aspiring Pokemon Researcher specialized in Pokemon Typing.

Personality: Akeno is a calm and recollected person who loves reading and Pokemon. But she is not much of a fighter, preferring pacifism the best. However, she is not weak. She just prefers pacifism. Her voice is quiet, but melodious, and soothing at the same time, good for a person who prefers words other than violence. She is smart about most things.

She'd prefer eating healthy things, but she will diverse at times. Even though she does not look like, she loves adventure. She is currently studying on Pokemon, and wants/yearns for to know more. She at times may feel feelings for females.

Backstory: She grew up in a typical family. Daughter of Michael Himeno and Lillith Azura, the middle daughter of three children, Akeno did not have much difficulties growing up. However, she rarely left her home, in the city where wildlife and nature dominate civilization. It was until she turned 10 when she actually decided to get outside and do something useful.

Everyday she spent outside were surprising. She saw Pokemon coming out here and there, and it was from there where she started to develop love for Pokemon, even for those whose did not get enough love. She then requested her parents to get her a Pokemon, but they refused.

It was only at the Age of 14 where she got her First Poke Ball. Yes. Her parents told her "If you want a Pokemon, go catch one yourself.". That's what she did. However, since she was only given one, and only one, Poke Ball. So all she could find to be easy to catch was... A Wurmple. At the age of 15, she openly confessed her Bisexuality

It was only to the age of 17, after concluding school, that she gotten an invite from Celio to the Sevii Islands. So, she simply packed things, took Wurmple with her, and left to Gaia, to meet new adventures...

Quincy loves reading. To him, books offer the kind of silent enjoyment that music and TV don't have. It also helps that he lives in a library. From his reading, he knows loads about all kinds of Pokémon. Of course, his preference to read above nearly anything doesn't really help his aforementioned social problem.

Above all, Quincy is a kindhearted person. His parents might have been part of Team Rocket, but they were still good people, and it shows in Quincy. Whenever possible, he helps people in need just like the heroes in his books.

Quincy has broewn hair, hazel eyes, and stands at 5 feet 6 inches. His skin is rather pale after spending most of his life inside, reading. While not muscular in any way, he is not fat.

Quincy was born mute. He couldn't speak at all, no matter how hard he tried. In sympathy, Quincy's parents never spoke when they were around him. They only wrote. "Mama" his mother would write on the chalkboard with an arrow pointed to her. So to little Quincy, the inability to speak was completely normal. Quincy learned to write at a very young age, and got very good at it. On his first day of school, he silently got ready and set off for his school. But when he got there, he was confused. Everyone was making weird noises, and everyone was looking at him for some reason. After a while, he learned to ignore the stares and continue with his schoolwork. Through English classes, he learned to recognise spoken words. After taking a few advanced classes, he learned to recognize those words better than most.

Quincy's parents were both members of Team Rocket. They all lived in Celadon City at that time. They were all happy, sort of. There were the periods of time in which Mom and Dad were gone for a long time. "They're out on business" Quincy's babysitter used to say. Eventually, of course, Team Rocket was brought down, and Quincy's parents were both arrested. Quincy was sent off to live with his grandfather on Cinnabar Island. There he ran into the usual problems. Kids either making fun of him, or being friendly to him just because of his situation. He learned to just stay inside and help his grandfather in his library. Through his grandfather's books, he gained quite an interest in old stories and legends. It was also here that he met Bill and Celio.

Backstory
Abigail was born in Anistar City to Thomas and Ellen Storm. Ellen was a Pokémon Trainer from the Kanto Region. In fact, she nearly defeated the Indigo League with her Snorlax, but unfortunately, she lost and moved to the Kalos Region. Here, she met a man named Thomas, whom she married. Both Abigail and her brother were born in Anistar City, but then their mother was called back to Kanto to become a Gym Leader in place of Giovanni. However, it would take some time for the Gym to be completely prepared for her, so until they could finish, Ellen and her family, including Abigail, lived in Lavender Town.

Abigail, being very cocky and in-your-face, was nearly the opposite of her brother Kade, a moody introvert. They also had different experiences with Pokémon. Kade grew up with a Muchlax, but Abigail never really encountered many Pokémon, apart from her mother's. Instead, Abigail's pursuits were more academic. After turning 13, she became the student of Hugo Mason, a former Pokémon professor on Cinnabar Island.

On Cinnabar Island, she met Hugo's grandson, Quincy. She quickly befriended him because living in a library, there weren't many other children around. Over time, they became best friends. Having lived with him for 5 years, she almost always knows what he's trying to "say". Either through hand gestures or facial expressions.

One day, when she was, again, exploring the Cinnabar Mansion like her teacher told her not to do, she heard a small cry. As she started running toward it, she recognized it as a Vulpix's cry. Living on Cinnabar, she had learned to recognize numerous indigenous Pokémon cries. Eventually she rounded a corner to see an odd sight: A White Vulpix. It looked exhausted, like the heat was causing it pain. It was an odd sight, especially since Vulpix was supposed to be a fire-type. Picking it up, she hurried it back to her teacher. He identified it as an Alolan variant Vulpix, meaning it was ice-type. He continued to explain how it must have been stolen by Team Rocket or something. Ever since it lived with them and, on more than one occasion, was found sleeping in the Refrigerator.

One day, however, Quincy recieved a letter from an acquaintance of his named Celio, calling him away to some place called "Gaia." It was obvious to her that he intended to go, so she went to his grandfather and asked him if she could go too. He said yes.

Nickname: The True Symbol of Laziness

Personality: Lilly is a Lazy Girl who, when she has the mood to do it, is good at a lot of stuff. But her lazy part just does not let her to. Lazy to actually not even tidying her room. She always prefers having her stuff in a mess. Homework? No, that's not with her. She is smart and good at Pokemon Battles, but Lazy God does not allow her. Now, she has this laziness with the fear of not having anyone's Approval, but it still for Practical Reasons as well. If she can sleep, she will.

Appearance:

Her shirt says "Lazy Days", her shorts are white Pajamas Shorts, and her Home Slippers say "Team Skull Numskull". Yes. She walks around in that Summer Pajama. At least it's not a winter Pajama. That'd be ridiculous.

Hometown: All the way from Wintown Fiore. How did she got to Fall City so she could get to One Island? The Rangers let her use Dragonite to get there. Or she'd take a year.

Inventory: A Sketch Book, a MP3 with Earbuds, A Slakoth Plushie, a Small Snorlax Plushie and a Magikarp Plushie. Oh and a Pencil and a bag of chips.

Backstory: Lilly was born in Ringtown, and since early moved to Wintown, and was the youngest of four children. The Pre-Lazy Lilly was different. Determined and hard worker, she always tried to make her parents proud. She tried her best. But no matter how much she tried, nothing was making them proud, even to a point of her parents calling her useless. Since then, she stopped trying, and did what she though it was the best for everyone, to satisfy everyone: Nothing.

She kept going to school, but her grades went downhill to Fs, Es, or Ds, was paying no attention to classes, and even slept on the same. Due to this, her parents found out the query that Celio did online, and saw as a chance of taking the girl out of the house, filling in that she was lazy, and that she did nothing useful. Surprisingly, she was accepted, and Lilly saw this as a chance of just skipping school without needing to give a goddamn reason.

I was going to do a female character I could relate more easily to, but almost every character so far is female so I decided to go with this old OC of mine.
I also wanted a more outgoing and less booksmart character to contrast the others, who pretty much all share an introverted and nerdy personality.

Nickname: Nat/Natty, just an abreviation

Personality: Natty is a musician and is passionate about the guitar he carries everywhere he goes. He is also quite arrogant and boastful. He has a heart for doing what is right, even if his motivation of getting attention is less than perfect.
He's headstrong and will charge into anything that seems fun without hesitation, which can be good or bad...

Backstory: Nathaniel grew up in Nimbasa surrounded by the bright lights and fun filled atmosphere. His parents often took him to see the Pokemon musicals as a child and from this he grew extremely fond of music.

His family was unsupportive of his desire to have a music career, thinking it unstable. At the time his arrogant and naive nature caused him to shrug their opinion off as nonsense, so he continued to pursue his dream regardless.

He joined many bands over the course of several years, but none of them lasted, and he realized that maybe his family was right all along. He finally decided to try something new as a break to have time to think about this and settled on becoming a trainer since it seemed fun and exciting. Finally, this offer from Celio was his opportunity to do so.

Occupation: Music, playing guitar for band after band as each one broke up.
First Impression: You can look at him and tell he is an arrogant musician, which is correct. What one wouldn't be as likely to see is the just heart he has beneath that exterior.

It requires at least being active. Being inactive for 2-3 weeks might be a kick out. As far as your character, you need at least three paragraphs. While i'd accept your character, i wanna see what yoi can come up with. If you can't think of anything, i'll add you anyway.

Driven by an intense desire for the respect and admiration of others, she pushes herself hard and her pokemon harder. Failure isn't something she accepts easily and she is prone to holding grudges as a result. In spite of this, when she isn't being challenged she can be very inviting. Her appearance means a lot to her and she won't easily compromise on her presentation, which is a roundabout way of saying she doesn't have a great deal of tolerance for getting filthy and will often prioritize maintaining appearances and dignity over other things that might seem more important. Valorie has a passionate love for dragon type pokemon.

During her home life, she spent a lot of time researching the mythical dragon type pokemon that supposedly lived in Dragonspiral Tower just north of her, reading up on their lore and all the fantastical accounts of encounters with them. She then sometimes turned around and told those stories to her childhood friends. Eventually, Valorie began making up stories of her own based on the tales she had read. She was often the main character of these stories, though how thinly veiled this was varied greatly between the stories. At times she was overtly telling stories about herself and other times there was little way to tell.

Always she imagined herself in the role of the adventurer, however she wouldn't get the chance to go on her very own adventure for some time. As she grew older she grew more distant from her childhood friends as her stories ceased to amuse them, becoming more and more stir crazy at home. She often wandered north to look at Dragonspiral Tower from a distance. This eventually got her attacked by a territorial bird pokemon and she was forced to flee for her safety, spurring a talk about these adventurous urges she was having. When her father next returned home for her fifteenth birthday, she was given an egg he'd picked up for her during his travels, stated to contain one of the dragons Valorie had been ever so fascinated by. The timing for a trip to Gaia was convenient and Valorie was eager, knowing that no one would know her there, to go.

First Impression: The first things people would likely observe about Valorie are that she's very, very short (4 feet 10 inches) and that she puts a lot of effort into her appearance for someone out on a journey. Would you find the time to paint your face and nails while you were out on a journey? She did. It would not be very difficult to underestimate Valorie based on her apparent priorities.

Nickname: Miss Akane, Akane-Chan

Personality: Akane is a woman with class, but does not go with Extreme class. While she likes being well arranged, she is incredibly impatient, and likes to do things quickly, and run around a lot due to the sports she practiced in the past. She is smart, but not really dedicated to books to the maximum. Carefree, she does not hold a single grudge, or cares much about other's approval. She is determined to get something through, though she will most likely do it without even think how first. She does not mind filth. She can be at times a perfectionist though, specially when it comes to music.

Appearance:

She is more active than you think. That Flute of hers is Blue.

Hometown: Born in Lumiose City, lived for a short while in Pueltown in Almia, and then lived in Sootopolis City until 13, she then afterwards moved to Fall City, in the distant region of Fiore.

Inventory: She carries her Blue Flute, and even her diary. She has Running Shoes, with heels on it surprisingly.

Sexuality: Akane is Lesbian, so she is not straight. Watch out girls---/shot

Backstory: Akane was born of a rich family that spoke 4 languages altogether, English, Japanese, Italian and French, and since little, she was taught to master all, and to master many other things. Born in Lumiose, she moved to Pueltown when she was only 4, and on the same year, to Sootopolis City. There, she learned to practice sports, and eventually try to master them. It was there Akane gained the love to practice sports, specially swimming.

Most of the times, she tried to watch Wallace's performances on the TV or on the Gym, as she was much of a fan of his. She was always impatient to see him act or battle. At the age of 13, her parents asked her if she could go live with her grandmother for a few years in Fall City, Fiore, as it was the old woman's Last Living Years. Akane said yes, and left to there, to live with her grandparents. At the age of 14, though, the lady passed away, and so it was just Akane and her grandfather. Lately, she got a letter from Celio, to go to Gaia, a Region with it's great weather. Akane simply accepted...

Occupation: Before moving to Fall City, she was the captain of her school's swimming team, was part of the flute choir and even at the Arts and Theater Club. However, when she moved to Fall City, she was no more part of a Swimming Team, as Fall City had no places to swim in.

First Impression: A Too Classy, Frail, snob girl, which is completely the opposite. She is indeed short, but she is rather strong, but not too strong. She ain't snob.

Fears/Phobias: She has Claustrophobia and Dark. So if you put her in a locker, she'll be crying. A lot.
